Lovely relaxed cafe where u can sit and relax and get food or drinks, food is amazing here thank you so much for the wonderful experience

Called here late this morning and as it was to early for lunch decided to opt for the breakfasts. 2 regular breakfasts, a belly buster and a cheese "n" Ham toastie. The meals were cooked to order so yes a little bit of await but was a bit disappointed that as the cafe wasn't busy the toastie arrived approximately 10 minutes after the breakfasts. I know it's important to get meals out while they're hot still couldn't quite understand why the delay with the toastie. Overall the meals were cooked well and served hot and I personally found the sausage particularly tasty. The meals were accompanied by 2 Cappuccinos, a tea and a fresh apple juice.

Lovely cafe. Great food and excellent value. Staff very friendly, polite and helpful. We would definitely recommend.

We had to wait long time. The jacket potato was not hot. My sausage were cold. My friend toast was bad. We not come back here again

Just finished an amazing lunch with my family at Lynians Cafe. Best meal we have had all holiday. Whitley Bay is a wonderful place but so is this Cafe. Food aside (being brilliant), a lovely cafe down by the Metro Station with relaxed atmosphere and very attentive staff. Congratulations to the owners ⭐️

Brilliant! Great Dog Friendly cafe, everything homemade and delicious, the owner and staff made such a fuss of our dog, gave him some treats and water. The breakfasts were delish and very reasonable, great value, great place to eat some proper home made food!

Lovely tea ,staff so friendly ,prices modest. Dog friendly ..looking forward to next visit .Extensive menu with varied selection .Very close to whitley bay metro station .

Enjoyed an excellent lasagne here for lunch. Good sized portion and good value for money. Close to the metro. Would definitely recommend.

We visited this cafe on our way to the metro after our day out in Whitley Bay and was pleasantly surprised at how worth the money it is. We ordered food and drink all at affordable prices and you get a large portion of what you order which is even better!! The only 2 criticism I have and for the reason I gave a 4 was, 1) the mugs need replacing. They looked very damaged and markings which clearly isn’t the fault of the owners, it just needs a bit more TLC in this area. The only other thing is that the young female working there seemed very snappy and short tempered. The older women working and cooking was delightful and a wonderful individual! Overall thank you Lynians Cafe, the experience was pleasurable :)

Excellent first class food (I am vegetarian / plenty choice) and service where everyone is made welcome by the Proprietor who could not do enough. The word "hidden gem" is often overused but in this case there is not a better descriptor. In a world where everything is "processed" and "customer service" seems to be forgotten really pleased I made a "wrong turn" the other week (just need to get a doggie now). Thank you ever so much. Wish you every success for the coming year and beyond. You deserve it!

Welcoming warm cafe bit off the beaten track but worth rooting out! Sizeable establishment well appointed. Lots of choice and friendly service. Great homemade soup and hot beef roll. Dogs allowed, toilets great. Recommended without hesitation

Had tea and scones here and noticed on the tables there is a delightful selection of home-made special dog treats (healthy biscuits, muffins, cakes). Tea and food was very nice. I was also able to buy a dear little neckerchief for my small, dachshund. These are provided in three sizes, small, medium and large. An unusual place with lovely staff in he middle of Whitley Bay.

A friendly, homely cafe. The carrot cake was delicious. Our dog was made very welcome too and there was an array of dog treats available.

We had the best Corned beef savory sandwiches ever,they were very tasty and full of fresh salad. The staff were very friendly and the customer service was excellent,I work in the food industry so know what is expected. We would highly recommend this cafe and will certainly go back.

warm friendly spacious dog friendly cafe. Very happy with the food and service provided . Their is a lot of attention to detail the meat is good quality not cheap meat . It’s definately home cooked as I’ve seen them cooking and preparing to cook meal when cafe is quiet . As are the cakes biscuits . It’s very homely and always feel quite happy to sit and watch the world go by . Their is fun activities for children to do with colouring and sticker books . It’s very clean . They have lovely little dog treats that are also home made and look like little cakes and muffins or doughnuts . Superb effort to the owners

Came in for a drink whilst waiting to view a house only to be told the coffee machine hadn't heated up yet... It would be about another 20 minutes. Surely you should be coffee machine ready from the moment you open your door??? Such a shame I've been walking past this cafe the past few weeks wanting to try it. Won't bother again

Good food and coffee. Very friendly and good value .. enjoyed the bacon sarnie, chocolate cake, and Columbian coffee.

I visit here every Saturday morning while my son is at Yamaha music school for an hour. The breakfast is lovely and great value too! The lady is always run off her feet but is always helpful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend.

Been here a couple of times now. The food is lovely and really tastes homemade. The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing meal outside at a very good price. Owners have also taken great care in the decoration of the place and attention to detail in service means we’ll keep going back. A real asset to the area and Station Road

Would recommend. Filter coffee and latte were lovely and there was a nice atmosphere. Just a minute from the Metro too!

The staff are friendly and it is great that they allow dogs. The food though was not good. The vegetables with the mince had been boiled to death and there was barely any filling in the cheese savoury sandwich. The signs all say 'homemade', but clearly the gravy is from granules and the cakes are all bought from a supermarket. It would be fine if they just said what was actually going on, so people know what they are really going to get.

I’ve been to this cafe 3 times now the last time being on 19th June 2018 and I can say that they provide great food and the staff are very friendly.

I stopped here for a bacon butty and a cup of tea during a ill conceived Saturday morning bike ride to work off a hangover. It was just the ticket. The food was tasty, the tea was strong and the street seating area was spacious and quiet. I also have a dog and the cafe makes it clear that dogs are welcome. There is enough space inside the cafe to accommodate dogs. I’ll definitely return with the hound for round two.

The cafe was clean inside, with a lot of options for food and drinks. The tables were set out nicely with decoration and there were plenty of space between the tables as well we having enough tables for the customers. Although the cafe was very quiet with no music and not much talking. When i visited it was mostly elderly people that were there. I would not take children to this cafe as it is too quiet.

My wife, myself and our dog Kiya stumbled upon Lynians cafe today, and i must say it was a wonderful surprise. Food was beautiful and service was very friendly. I had mince and dumplings while my wife had the corned beef pie, both were scrumptious, you could tell the food had been home made from fresh ingredients.

This cafe is situated on Station Road, near Whitley Bay metro station.

Lyn & Ian are such lovely people, so friendly & helpful. When we moved into the area, and were renovating our house, their cafe became our weekend kitchen!

Really nice little place, even cater for dairy free in the way of drinks and do a nice soya latte. Definitely recommend

Looks super cosy, the food is freshly made and tasty, and everything is well priced! Would definitely recommend!

Have been meaning to come along since this place first opened as I've many a great thing and today we were not disappointed. The cafe is much more spacious than I imagined but also has a cosy homely feel to it. Prices are very well structured with big portions of home cooked food. Lovely staff and will come back again. Now follow them on Facebook so have left a review on there too.

Had a nice little snack here. Very clean and very reasonably priced. It’s also proper homemade stuff which makes it worthwhile!

We called in today for the Sunday lunch and it was amazing! There was a choice of four roasts, proper home made Yorkshire Pudding, roast and mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, turnip, cabbage and delicious gravy! The best roast dinner we've ever had! Everything is home made. Hope to try the Belly Buster breakfast one day! Very warm welcome from lovely staff. Reasonably priced for great food. Can't wait to return to this little gem of a cafe.

Really nice dining experience. Owners friendly, High standard of cleanliness. Homemade mince pie really nice. Home made custards creams lovely. Nice that it pet friendly too.
