When you go here you go for the experience and the staff and both are fantastic. We went in the late afternoon and it was not too busy. It is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for

Great food and fantastic service from Charlotte

I needed to kill time and was looking for a coffee when I stumbled upon this place. You can access it from outside the church. There's a shop with lots of London souvenirs to buy. The café/restaurant is located in the crypt, with its tombstones, exposed brick, and vaulted ceiling. Very pretty. I think they have jazz sessions. I only had a coffee with carrot cake, and the service is self-service. The prices are reasonable for London. The staff is very friendly. A very charming place.

I booked a table here for my birthday and went in there to check if they could accommodate to our needs 3 weeks before coming. I then booked a table and paid a 20£ deposit (which they said would come off out bill), when we got there the staff was incredibly rude and when I informed the guy that I had booked a table, he was very snarky with us because there was people sat at our table already. Then when it came to ordering we asked where we could order, they said through the app when my mother said we had somebody with an allergy at our table so therefore would feel safer ordering with a person, the guy said it wasn’t his problem and he continuously was quite mean to my mother. She said to him that she was asking nicely and that his response were rude and quite frankly mean he said “I know so what”. Save to say we got our drinks and didn’t even stay for a meal, my twenty pound deposit was not take off the bill as we had to order through the app. So would not recommend this place what so ever. I work in hospitality and quite frankly I was absolutely appalled by the behaviour of the staff.

I was at Pret in Chelsea and had the pleasure of being served by Tsetsi. In my 7 years living in the UK, I’ve never experienced service like his. I was feeling down, and without me even saying a word, he asked how I was doing. Then, he gave me a bar for free. I asked him why, and he simply said, “Sometimes a small act of kindness can change someone’s whole day.” It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly touched me. Thank you, Tsetsi — your kindness meant more than you know.

Excellent food and service good atmosphere on match day reasonable prices

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch by the river in Côte Kingston earlier today. Although we had booked a table indoors it was such a beautiful day that we sat outside in the sunshine. We tried the marinaded olives and crab shared starters, moules frites and chocolate fondant accompanied by a delicious muscadet white wine. Everything was excellent - a reasonable price - the food and wine delicious - great service - perfect. Thank you and well done to Côte for making this time so memorable!

What a worst samosa, not fried, tasteless and got stone on top of it.

Great wine, great food. Gabriele was our server and he was outstanding: attentive, knowledgeable, informative, and a perfect combination of being there at the right time, but also not too much. He should be running his own bar in a few years! Bar and kitchen staff were really friendly and overall the experience was highly recommended!

Just had the worst experience I have had in a pub in a long time. This used to be a great local pub with great food, it’s now AWFUL. The staff excluding original staff are unfriendly and rude, Ethan is uninterested rude and unfriendly. This is the third time I have tried to eat at the pub, the last time I came they cooked the sausages until burnt on the outside completely raw in the middle, Jade who is a great member of the team was polite and got it re-made. We just ordered a burger and chips which was cold and fish and chips which was over cooked and brown, either old dirty oil or burnt. We sent it back Ethan didn’t apologise and took it to the kitchen in which Brian the chef decided to place his hands on the cold chips and stare at us making us feel intimidated. When I got my refund another chef stared at me looked me up and down. We are now staying to drink our drinks and continuously being intimidated as three young women. They got a probe and checked the burger and shouted what’s wrong with the burger. By the way continuously looking at us as I write this review and threw something on the floor in anger making us feel uncomfortable purposely. Absolutely disgusting. I run a local business and used to recommend this pub, I will be telling everyone I know about our experience. It’s clear this pub doesn’t care about paying customers and using imtimdation tactics when their chefs can’t cook a simple sausage, chips, fish or a burger which by the way is £20 per person. AWFUL, if you want good food and great service there’s great places nearby, avoid at all costs
