Extortionate prices for coffee, ordered one to go and they still charged me service which cost £4.80

You can’t beat The Star really. Always very welcoming, great food and lovely staff. Would highly recommend. One question, when is the salmon en croute coming back onto the specials menu? 🙏🏻

Probably one of the better pubs in the area! The beer selection is better than pretty much any pub around, the food is good and the staff is nice and friendly! Highly recommend, especially the back garden when it's sunny.

We had such a delicious meal at Comptoir Gascon, the cassoulet and the duck confit are amazing. The staff is really lovely and very professional, I will definitely go back there as soon as I can.

My neighbourhood pub - they do literally everything from scratch, except maybe the burger brioche and their oven baked pizzas, Bloody Mary and generally desserts are lovely. Their Sunday roasts are so delicious! Though I wish there is an option for wine glasses too instead of the standard tumblers.

They gave us rice instead of chips but it was a good mistake the rice was the right choice and the food was delicious, we are going back.

Very friendly service staff, efficient service and delicious food. Inside is very cosy, and we could tell was an organised group who knew what they were doing. Dog friendly too!
