Had a lovely brunch here recently, the menu has so much choice and I need to return to try other things!! Wasn't a big fan of the beans or sausage, but loved everything else. Can't wait to try the other menu options!!

Had a very nice Lebanese style brunch here a few weekends ago - the food was varied and delicious at not too high a price. They service was quick and friendly and it was nice to sit outside in the sun, even if the road is quite busy. The coffee was good too.

Visiting from Canada and had a really great gluten free brunch! Service was amazing, food was satisfying and delicious, service was 5 star! Get a chai latte if that's a drink you love!

Used to be our favourite brunch spot in Earlsfield but has gone downhill - service has been very poor every time we’ve been over the past six months, wait staff just seem to forget about you. We went this week and the food was just quite sad. My avocado on toast wasn’t toasted and so got soggy, my daughter’s kids pancake consisted of one dry pancake and five blueberries, just absolutely zero love put into it - previously we’d get syrup and tons of different berries. We asked for syrup and they took nearly 15mins to bring it by which time she’d mostly choked down the dry pancake. Very sad as used to be great but we’ll look for a new spot.

We visited Bean and Hop on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and despite it being very busy, we only had to wait 10 minutes for a table for two. The whole experience was swift - we were seated, served drinks and food quickly, and paid the bill within the hour. Coffee: The double espresso was fantastic! (5/5) A strong, dark roast with a perfect crema, smooth and delicious. Especially for £2.50, it's a steal! Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, even on a busy day. We were seated quickly, drinks arrived promptly, and the food followed suit. Food: We tried the breakfast of champignons and the avocado eggs and chorizo. Both were delicious! The mushrooms were buttery and garlicky, and the sourdough was perfectly toasted. The avocado eggs had a generous portion of smashed avocado and the chorizo was perfectly spiced. Price: The Buck's Fizz was a bit pricey at £8.50, but it did have a good amount of pulp. Atmosphere: It can get quite loud and crowded, especially on sunny days. Overall, Bean and Hop is a great spot for a quick and delicious brunch or coffee. The service is top-notch, the coffee is fantastic, and the food is tasty. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait and a lively atmosphere, especially on weekends

Been to Bean and Hop a number of times and their food never lets me down. The green detox smoothie is yummy too. Always top notch and the Cortado is the best in SW London. No word of a lie. Highly recommend.

We had full English breakfast and Pancake Stack here. Both foods were very delicious and service was good even though it was busy. Definitely worth to try.

Nice atmosphere but extremely bland food. Random supermarket bread is better than what they serve in their breakfast. Other items were also subpar. You need to change your chef. Not coming back for food.

I love it when I can find a cafe in London with good guacamole. Ordered the breakfast quesadilla this morning with spicy chorizo and it hit the spot. Staff was attentive despite it being a busy Saturday morning. Would definitely come back the next time I’m in the area.

Wanted to go here for a nice brunch but found out it was quite average. Ordered 2 Decaf coffee and found out that they were not. I ordered the Lebanese Breakfast, in which I wanted streaky bacon on the side. They didn't bring the bacon, and I had go go up and ask for it. They were very apologetic, which was nice. However, for £3.50 you get 2 tiny pieces of bacon. Lastly, my partner wanted poached eggs with her breakfast. The egg was completely boiled and hard, a bit of a shame of a spot.

We have had the pleasure of visiting Bean and Hop for breakfast on a number of occasions the most recent of which was 2 weeks ago. Great service, amazing food and a very welcoming team. We had pancakes and a full English and the quality was excellent. We will continue to come back.

The atmosphere is enjoyable, but the cuisine doesn't meet expectations. The flavors lack harmony, and certain dishes lean towards being greasy. Moreover, when I attempted to order a pancake from the kids' menu for dessert after a full lunch, I was informed that it's restricted to children. Furthermore, the cost doesn't align with the food quality; spending approximately £30 on brunch and coffee seems disproportionate.

I met a friend here for a late lunch. The staff were friendly but a little pushy when ordering. I realised later that this was probably because the kitchen was closing but it would have been helpful to know that. I had chicken and avocado on sourdough, which was delicious. I will visit again.

Amazing breakfast - I went early and there was plenty of space (it did start filling up around 9.30) Coffee was nice, smoothie too and I loved the pancakes. Hope to go again soon!

The food was alright, nothing special and definitely doesn't deserve the price that's charged, as mentioned in another review. The mushrooms tasted like they were pickled in truffle oil and that killed any of the mushroom taste. The streaky bacon was nicely cooked and tasty. The wilted spinach needed a bit more finesse. The egg looked great but was overcooked. The sourdough was disappointing. Service was pleasant but understaffed for the numbers there. The time from order to served was too long so this is not the place to go unless you have lots of time.

Beautiful breakfast! All what you need to start your day. Perfect poached eggs and coffee. Definitely recommend and will come again and again!

Sausage sandwich not recommended! 2 pieces of toast and 2 sausages cut in half, no butter or sauce. It was very dry and cost £7. Bit of a rip off. My first and last time in Bean and Hop.

The food looks good but tastes just fine... looks can be deceiving. As it's a small business I am happy to pay the price that's asked.. to support small businesses but I still need to be convinced that the food deserves the price ... I am amazed with the friendly and great customer service even when it is busy, the atmosphere is chill and relaxing. Will visit again just for that.

Food is great. But I can't say that coffee, especially the heating & frothing of the milk is taken seriously. Cappuccino hasn't ever come with actual foam, even when asked for.

For me, the best breakfast in London. When I lived in Earlsfield this would be a regular stop for me at weekends. The service from the staff is excellent and the coffee and juices are amazing. I think I have had everything from their menu and it is all to die for. Fresh and local ingredients make Bean & Hop standout from other breakfasts in London. I could not recommend this place more.l

Wow! What a brunch gem in Earlsfield! I ordered the Lebanese breakfast and it didn’t disappoint! The falafel is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. BEST falafel I’ve eaten to be honest! The English breakfast my mate ordered looked absolutely delicious and they said it was delicious. Looking forward to visiting again!

Nice place for a late breakfast.

Every time we passed the Bean & Hop, it was always very busy. Today, we went there just an hour before it was closed. A lot less people, very calm and relaxed atmosphere. The coffee was fantastic and the brownie was nice too.

Really tasty food and an excellent brunch selection. Can take a little while to get served and it gets really loud - some soft furnishings wouldn't go amiss. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

A nice local cafe. Sit by the window and do some people watching. Both the Lebanese Breakfast and the quesadilas were great, but I'd like to highlight the Peraian pancakes. Those were spectacular 😍

Best brunch spot this neck of the woods in my opinion, the service is always top notch and the food hot & tasty! Their coffee is decent and will definitely please the discerning espresso head. Overall a quality place, be prepared to wait a few mins on the weekend as this place fills up fast.

Watch out, bad bread for breakfast options. I was a bit disappointing really as you're hoping to get a nice rye bread under eggs and avocado but the bread we had yesterday was tasteless, looks like it was undercooked. When we asked the waiter to pass this to the chef, the lady said just 'ok', no apology, nothing like she didn't care. It's a shame as the cafe looks nice but.. won't be coming back.

Best place in Earlsfield for lunch. They dont take bookings and sometimes can be difficult to get a table during the weekend. Food is always spot on although I have noticed that they have been reducing the portions lately

For the last three weeks, I've been on holiday in London and have eaten out at least once a day and often up to three times a day. In all that time, the standard of food at Hop and Bean is the only time that I've had any cause to complain. Every single other establishment has tried significantly harder. There were lots of waiting staff this weekend, but little organisation. My 'white americano' came without any milk and, for whatever reason, I had to ask three times before the milk turned up, by which point, my coffee was stone cold. When my breakfast eventually arrived, after around an hour's wait(!), it too was cold and served on stale toast that was so hard, I couldn't cut it with a steak knife. I pointed this out to a member of staff and the dish was re-made without any problems. This meant that what I ate was at least warm, but really, that's the highest compliment that I can pay this place. The truffle hollandaise neither tasted of truffle, nor of hollandaise, which is quite a feat! In a world where individuals are struggling financially, places like this will fail if they don't significantly up their game, rather than simply upping their prices.

4 of us, all different choices and all loved the food and had had some cakes too! Nice service.

Service is great, standard of food good, recommend the smoothies for sure. One issue though and it’s a biggie, the bread is so thick and dense I’m surprised no one has been hurt yet. Noticeably no elderly people dining because they simply don’t have the jaw-muscles to contend.

This is a fascinating coffee shop. It's almost like they're going for a niche as "London's unfriendliest coffee shop". I went for a coffee here at the weekend and was told to leave by a barista so unfriendly she would probably better off being an armed guard in the DMZ in Korea. This was due to having a laptop which I planned to do a little morning work on. After pointing this out, I had this response "Our laptop policy is reflective of the needs of the business and our lovely local (and from elsewhere) customers. When we are very busy on Fridays to Sundays it is only fair to the cafe and, yes, the locals, that we limit laptop use. It is not uncommon for a laptopper to be lost in their screen for several hours with "a" coffee, whilst we have a queue of people at the door hoping to dine. It's quite a common policy and by no means bizarre." I drink coffee at independents most days and have never encountered this policy, but it is fair if it meets the needs of the business. But they had no sign upon entry and only put one up after I had had to leave. It also suggests laptoppers only order one coffee, which I can assure you most of us cofee-shop workers order more coffee than you're friends having a chit-chat. Bizarre opinion and discimination. What is incredible is the owner of this place has serious attitude problems. I urge anyone on here to read the google reviews this owner responds with. It is a lesson in how not to run a small business. I urge you to check these out before giving this business any more money. I ended up having excellent coffee in a shop just down the road, there's loads of other great options for coffee in Earlsfield so fill your boots people!
