Any fault the service The food was incredible. Two of our orders weren't right and they took them back to the kitchen without query and bought us the correct order. Milkshakes are expensive but absolutely delicious.

Just had a coffee and a croissant at Clocktower Coffee in Hanwell—absolutely amazing! The coffee was rich and smooth, the croissant perfectly flaky and fresh. The atmosphere is really lovely too—calm, welcoming, and full of character. A perfect little spot to relax. Highly recommend

Great Coffee & Smashed Avocado

I had fish and chips (the portion was huge and it tasted amazing) a fresh juice, and a coffee everything was spot on the café has such a cozy vibe, perfect for a relaxed meal or a catch-up with friends the service was amazing friendly and attentive You can really tell the owner is involved and genuinely cares about the experience which adds a special touch Definitely coming back!

We had the best lunch at the clocktower cafe , hallal shawarma was absolutely delicious , the pancakes with fruit and maple syrup do nice , very nice service the chef himself brought our food to our table ,will definitely return 👍

The food is good but not great. Nice staff. But the big let down is still using plastic disposable cups as standard for all milkshakes / smoothies. It's not 1990. Update your business to be better for the environment. Even if you eat in they default to using the plastic ones so make sure you ask for glass.

Had an amazing time at Clock Tower Cafe! The food is absolutely delicious and halal, which is great for anyone looking for a halal restaurant near Hanwell. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Definitely a must-visit for anyone in the area craving quality halal food!

Clocktowe cafe serves some best pancakes in london ! The buttermilk pancakes are soft rich and topped with fresh fruits and syrup. The staff is friendly and the location is great. Good recommendation

If you like easy money, you can open a cafe just next to them, from 5pm to 5.30pm, and you will get rich. They don't like to make money because they won't sell you anything after 5pm despite they are closing at 5.30pm. Their cakes are nice and great and the atmosphere as well but it's just so difficult to buy something from them.

This is our favourite place. The staff are very friendly and the owner is always looking to improve the service and listens to customers. This is a dog friendly and child friendly environment and the food is really nice. Highly recommended!!!!!

Ordered 2 portions of fish and chips and it was not edible at all. Felt sick after eating. Fish definitely did not taste fresh. It’s a shame as the food looked good. Service was not great also. Server decided to start taking photos of the drink we ordered instead of serving it right away. We were reading the menus and a server just took it from in front of us without asking. Won’t be coming back again.

Clocktower Café in Hanwell is open until 17:00, with the last meal orders taken at 16:29. I called ahead at 15:00 to check when the kitchen was open until because I wanted a burger. A male voice on the phone told me they served food until 19:00, but upon arrival, we were told otherwise—quite an unusual mix-up. The staff did promise to investigate the miscommunication, though. The initial approach from the staff wasn’t the most welcoming. When we sat down, the first thing we heard was that they were closing, even though we arrived at 16:00 and still had 30 minutes to order. A better approach would have been: "Hello there, welcome to Clocktower! Just a heads-up, the kitchen closes at 16:30, but you’re absolutely fine to order." Instead, it felt like we weren’t really encouraged to stay. That said, the food came out surprisingly fast—within 5 to 10 minutes—so we had plenty of time to eat without feeling rushed. However, there’s definitely room for improvement in customer service. A heads-up for those looking for a quiet café: mothers with babies are frequent customers, so it can get a bit loud. On top of that, the noise from the kitchen, particularly dishes and glasses clattering, made the atmosphere a bit unpleasant. On the bright side, the burger was served with chips, making it a great value-for-money meal that was definitely filling. However, the menu doesn’t clearly state that chips are included, and the separate chips section at the bottom is misleading—it made me think I had to order them separately. Please fix that to avoid confusion! As for the burger itself, the meat didn’t quite match the quality of other places in the area. It tasted fairly cheap, or maybe it was just the lack of a special sauce to bring out the flavors. Overall, while the café has potential, a better approach from the staff, some menu clarifications, and small improvements to the food could make for a much more enjoyable experience.

I love starting the day with a coffee and pastry at the Clocktower. The quality is very good and the staff are pleasant creating a lovely atmosphere. I have tried a number of breakfasts and meals, which have been really tasty and well prepared, especially the Clocktower Frying Pan, a great signature dish.

I went here with my cousins and Grandma. We were all extremely clear on what each person ordered and who wanted it. They mixed up an order and told us that we mixed it up when we 100% did not. The workers got upset with us and rolled their eyes. This has happened more than once. Not impressed. 😢

Another great find. A very popular cafe which was very busy, always a good sign. We had garlic mushrooms, avocados, chilli flakes on toast and also fried eggs on toast. Beautifully presented and delicious. The only reason for a 4 rather than a 5 was because the sourdough bread was very tough. A must if you are in the area, a pretty cafe with outdoor seating and lovely atmosphere inside.

Clocktower is an absolute gem in Hanwell! I went for the first time a couple of weeks ago and had an excellent experience! I had very good food, excellent coffee and excellent service! I'm now a happy customer. Going back again soon as I work in the area. People, instead of giving your money to big corporations as Costa, Nero, Starbucks and Gail's, let's make good use of our excellent Clocktower café! 💖

Ordered BLT and Mocha £12.50 , BLT no ketchup or mayo just tomatoes and streaky bacon with grizzl mocha cold.will not be coming back.

I recently visited with family for a light lunch, and it was an amazing experience. The café’s ambiance is perfect—cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff were kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.

Nice inviting atmosphere with nice decor however, let down by quality of food. Ordered the grilled peri-peri chicken which comes with chips and salad. Spent £15 for this with an orange juice. The chicken tasted as though it had been cooked from frozen. It was light pink in the middle with a rubbery texture and incredibly thin. Seems they flattened the chicken to make it appear bigger than it was. Salad consisted of salad leaves and two cherry tomatoes. Chips are also poor quality and are of the sort you would find in fast food restaurants. Probably best just to stick to the hot drinks here.

Clock Tower Cafe is such a lovely find! had a slice of their homemade cake, and it was delicious. It’s the perfect spot to relax after exploring St Albans.

Overall a nice café with a good selection of food, desserts etc. One bit of feedback (and this applies to most restaurants and cafés) - please stop poaching eggs with vinegar. It's not needed and it ruins the whole meal - nice sourdough and avocado and all you can taste is vinegar.

The staff are very friendly and it looks very full on some morningswhich is a good sign I guess. I have not eaten here so I cannot comment on the food but the coffee is great and staff are always friendly.

I had to bin the chicken burger, pure slop, far too much sauce i couldn’t even lift the bun, wet and sloppy. The almond & orange cake is delicious, definitely worth buying.

Reliable local cafe with excellent brunch options. For vegetarians I recommend the ‘garden breakfast’ (a veggie spin on the full English) or the avocado toast. It’s a great place to host big groups too. I booked a table for 35 people and they handled it without any issues, even serving the food all at the same time.

Ordered very well done bacon which was completely ignored even though i asked twice. Chips undercooked. My partners eggs were cold. Brought out our meals with no drinks and had to go in to ask for them and the staff memeber behind the counter acted like it was an afront to be questioned about where our drinks were. One positive the owner or manager came out and offered to redo my meal and put it on the house but unfortunately i no longer felt like eating. Hopefully things improve as the cafe itself has a very nice atmosphere.

I got an almond croissant and I found an hair on it. Nothing weird, it can happen. I asked them if they could give me a another croissant and in the second one there was an hair as well. I’m not sure if they replaced the croissant or they gave me the previous one again. I don’t think I will come back to this cafe

I arrived there today at 1630 to order fòod. I was told by a staff member that they stop serving food even though the website says they close at 1730.

Took my daughter for breakfast during the school holidays and we both thought it was delicious. The portion sizes were very generous and obviously using good quality ingredients. It was a very quiet, rainy Wednesday morning so I can't speak much to the overall atmosphere. But the staff member was very friendly and attentive and we both had a lovely start to the day.

It was a busy Sunday lunchtime. We sat ourselves, as it didn’t look like anyone was going to acknowledge us, but a server did eventually come to take our order. He wasn’t very warm or welcoming, though. Otherwise, the sandwiches were good. The salmon bagel and chicken, bacon and guacamole sandwich were tasty and filling. There was a slice of avocado in my bagel that was unripe and quite hard, which was unfortunate, but overall, I still enjoyed my meal.

Amazing healthy breakfasts one vegetarian and the other the chorizo fry pan. so so good. Everything was well cooked, excellent quality and really tasty. If you are close by or able to order breakfast, you will be very happy. Thank you Clocktower Cafe team! :)

Our favourite cafe to come to in the area! The food is consistently tasty and the coffee is always made perfectly. The staff are super lovely, always serving us with a smile. The atmosphere is welcoming, cozy and vibrant, with local art work on display and comfy couches to relax.

My order rang food hygiene alarm bells. Ordered mozzarella panini and fries. The fries were covered in black bits from the fryer and the panini (which was brown bread in a panini shape) had no cheese in it. When I pointed out the lack of cheese, they simply added mozzarella to the sandwich I’d sent back. So the sandwich I had bitten may have been out back in the toaster. By then the inside of the sandwich as liquid from the original tomato with a slimy consistency. Binned it

My food was cold I asked for my sauce to be on the side and it was poured over my eggs the hollandaise was stone cold which then made my eggs cold also asked for my coffee extra hot it was luke warm Lots of screaming children so not as relaxed as I would have liked so quite disappointing

Visiting London from the USA. I have Crohns disease so when I'm traveling overseas I'm always on the lookout for healthy, quality food spots with variety and options. Decided to try out the Clocktower Cafe and was so glad I did! Very cozy cafe within walking distance from the Hanwell Train Station with full breakfast/lunch menu. I had a Vanilla Latte, Eggs Benedict and orange cake and everything was so good!! Service is A++, incredibly friendly! If you're looking for a neat, relaxing spot for both coffee and food, this is the place. Highly recommend if you're in the Hanwell area 👍

So cosy cafe, it's my 2nd time there and I like it so much.Many options in the menu,tasty sweets, delicious breakfast and brunch.The atmosphere is the best.

I went to this place quite a few times, the food was fab and great service. Went back a few months back and it was quite empty, service was very slow and food not great . A hiccup I thought , so took my daughter there for breakfast she always loved the pancakes. She didn’t even it half of them, again service was slow and food mediocre. It’s a shame but I now go elsewhere.

One of the waitresses was very friendly but overall the experience was very disappointing. They were clearly very busy and understaffed. People were walking out as it was such a long wait. We had to cancel the drinks because we’d finished the food before they even came out. The food was cold when it came out and we had to ask for it to be heated again. 3/4 of the staff members were unhelpful and quite frankly rude! We definitely won’t be back, there are much better cafes in Hanwell!

Arrived around 1.50pm. The place was moderately busy but emptying slowly. No obvious backlog in service. A friend joined us a few minutes later and we decided what to have. As no-one had come over for an order in 10 minutes one of us went to the bar to order only to be told to return to our seats as it was waitress service - whichwasn't at all obvious!. Another delay in making the order. As one of our party had a 2.30 appointment in Hanwell she went to the counter at 2.15 to check on progress. None apparantly! Eventually got served at 2.20. After 5 minutes one of us left for her appointment, taking most of her smoothie with her. Overall, not a great experience. Decor was nice. Drinks were nice but a bit pricey for what they were. Will go elsewhere next time I'm in the area. 1

When with my friends from the gym for a Sunday coffee

Lovely cafe with some comfy sofas and interesting memorabilia to browse. Walnut and date cake was sublime, and coffee tasted like real, fresh coffee. Friendly service. Only downside was cigarette smoke wafting in from customers sat outside.

Super Cafe um ein ausgedehntes Frühstück oder Mittagessen zu sich zu nehmen. Egal ob Pancake, Fisch and Chips oder Bacon. (Leute die es nicht so süß mögen, sollten den Pancake am besten ohne oder mit weniger Sirup bestellen) Das Personal war freundlich und die Speisen und Getränke wurden schnell gebracht. Die Preise waren für englische/londoner Verhältnisse normal bis gut. Wer in Hanwell frühstücken/essen möchte findet hier bestimmt eine Speise die ihm schmeckt.

Not a great experience. Do not live in the area so just popped in and only wanted coffee and toast. The coffee made me feel a bit jittery after a couple of mouthfuls so left it as I asked for decaf and couldn't trust it and the toast was just warm bread (not any bit was browned), served with a solitary small butter tub. It was quite large bread so that, thinly spread, covered about half a slice. In fairness I never gave them the chance to rectify it.

Arrived at the busiest time. Greeted and told it was table service only to wait 10 min to order while multiple takeaways where done. Eggs on toast with white was ordered. Was not white bread - but wouldn’t call it granary - and was not toasted. I declined replacement because they blamed the chef. FFS literally the first item on the menu. Had to remind them I ordered tea. Just poor.

Lovely atmosphere and well meaning staff but service is really slow so don’t come if you’re in a rush. Food is generally good, coffee less so.

This place is absolutely fantastic. I sat outside and had the best New York Caesar Salad and a smoothie avo go go wonderful ☺️

I went there the first time last year the food was great. Went back today and the food was awful! Very dry, not well cooked. Coffee was OK! Service wasn’t great either. I don’t have picture because it was that bad! Disappointing

Popped in for an English Breakfast on a Wednesday lunchtime. The cappucino served was half full due to amount of foam served on top and the English Breakfast was not great. The Bacon and Sausages were obviously re-heated as it was served too quick for the meat to be freshly cooked. However, the eggs, beans and toast were fresh and a saving grace. Probably wont return or recommend their cooked breakfasts (£10+). Service was friendly and took my complaint around the food professionally.

The best place to go to enjoy the food and the atmosphere around Hanwell area , friendly staff , fresh and yummy food from the breakfast menu to the all day menu. Cosy bohemian place and I would definitely recommend it to all my connection.

I was there yesterday with my mother/brother and friends but unfortunately the salt beef bagels we had was awful and later gave my mother and l upset stomachs and had to rush to the toilet later that day. Shame as venue seemed nice but service was very slow and when my mother complained at the end when we paid the bill the waiter couldn’t seem to care less. 😒

Overpriced frozen food, ordered Pannini and got seeded stale bread that was not panini and was defrosted, the chips were scraps and not many. Dirty tables, bad slow service, staff miserable, one customer sitting on a table for 4 so no room for us to sit, mums with prams taking up the walkway looks like a nursery. Got overcharged for extra that I did not have. Really bad hygiene( cobwebs hanging from the ceiling).can’t believe anyone can give this place a good review, I have been a few times and is worse every time. Avoid this place. Am never going back again.
