The Old Hat in Ealing

We booked a Christmas dinner for our Pilates Group. The table was beautifully decorated, the food was superb, very reasonable and the service from Leon & the team was first class, warm & welcoming. Our thanks also to Denise & Klaudia for organising it so well. We will definitely return.

Lovely little local, which always has the sports on and often live music at the weekends. Great team of staff behind the bar aswell!

A fun gig venue at The Old Hat W13 last night. Very friendly and helpful staff, great layout, nice atmosphere, clean toilets, good food, and a great crowd to appreciate the band playing classic music with a few Christmas seasonal songs thrown in to raise people's spirits. A late finish and return home, but cosy will visit here again.

Wow was so good went back twice for lunch. The burgers were su lime and the barstaff very efficient and engaging. Hidden gem and a diamond place.

The Old Hat is my local pub. The beer garden is my favourite area. A relaxing place to enjoy a cold pint and smoke my tobacco pipe. The service is great. Friendly staff.

Been here twice and I really like this pub. The atmosphere and decor is awesome, plenty of space including outdoor seating as well. They have board games as well which is a neat touch. The pints were affordable, most of them under 6 GBP which is appreciated. Haven’t tried their food yet except for small nibbles which was decent and their sticky toffee pudding (absolutely decadent and delicious). The people are nice and the patrons do have a nice time there. Music is a bit loud for my liking but didn’t mind too much since they played 80s pop hits. They have some good live bands play here sometimes. Overall an awesome place and will be visiting here often since it’s close to my home and hopefully will be a regular soon!

What a great looking pub - both inside and out. I enjoy the atmosphere and the music there very much. I am planning to go again for the live music evening soon. Chicken Sunday roast was fine (£15). Beef burger was better (£13). The price was extremely reasonable.

The food has taken a nose dive! Meat was tough, dinner was cold, the food came out straight away so it must have been sitting there. Will have to find a new place to eat on a Sunday! Such a shame as it’s a lovely pub. And the staff are nice.

It's been rekitted since I was last in. Regulars are friendly. Decent range of lagers but not much for the ale drinker. Extensive garden bar. Might just be due to end of term, but a decent number of younger folks in there, which is nice to see. Tucker menu looked like regular pub fare at a reasonable price with a multi buy discount on small plates which is a good idea.

The Public Bar should be called The Fakkin Old Fakkin Hat as it seems that you have to swear every fakkin other fakkin word to drink there. You cahn't! They do a decent Guinness at lower price before 5 o'clock weekdays, mind.

What a splendid place. The Old Hat in West Ealing is a delightful pub with two large bars and an expansive beer garden complete with a very friendly pub cat. A great range of keg beers. Only one cask ale available during my visit. Great staff and a good cold pint of lager, much enjoyed! This place is well worth a visit.

Wow everytime I visit London I make sure I call in this pub . So friendly and got a great vibe. I was in Thursday and a nice young man served me so polite and great customer service he was telling me he wanted to be an actor think he was called Leon. What a credit to your pub .

Haven't been here for years went for 3 lamb dinners today so nice and staff were great we will be back soon for few pints thank u

New female manager is delightful but mens toilets are filthy majority of the time, not maintained or checked regularly. The tall asian bar tender is not pleasant, a change of career is advisable.

Is it possible to book a table in this place ? As we telephoned and manager told us that they didn’t provide this service but when we came few tables was booked. When we came and had bad experience with this place because a manager was disrespectful and rude.

I will never recommend this place to anyone. Staff was really rude and provided no service whatsoever. Denis was very disrespectful and very unprofessional to me, sorry but she is spoils the atmosphere here.

Awful service we were in a pub and wanted to watch football. Manager Denys said that when football starts on TV, she will turn on the right channel. but when football started, she refused to turn on football on the TV that was opposite our table. We asked three times and she refused. Then other customers came and also asked to turn on the football, but she started screaming. A big request to change the manager in this pub, because it looks inadequate.

I have not eaten yet at this pub, I only had a pint. Very fiendly atmosphere and clean pub.

Just been in with a coach load of Leeds fans with a pre booking. Great staff and a great pub. Caters for everyone. Highly Recommended.

I used to visit weekly and have some beers ,meals What a lovely staff and energetic team always welcomes customers with smiley faces , This is my local pub used to visit nearly 5 years I will recommend to everyone just try this pub definitely you will never regret it

Had a quick pint and watched a bit of rugby. Main theme was horse racing in the pub, but we did not eat here. Pleasant atmosphere and quick friendly service.

Great pub in West Ealing for meeting up and food with friends and family. Has a comfortable beer garden at the back. Small beer garden at the front. The bar is still split in public and lounge bar area, you can eat food in both but the lounge area has nice raised seating area for family dinning. The food is good but I was not enthusiastic about my pizza. They have sports TV and include Irish sports too, so a nice touch. Friendly service. Enjoyed their club sandwich with nice potato skin on chips, French fries style. The back beer garden chairs at rightback alcove have been replaced by smaller bench style.

The food is excellent, large portions. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall one of the best pubs in Ealing .

More than Decent pint of Guinness. Cheap by London prices! + discount before 5pm. Food basic Brit and Irish eg. Spuds, Bacon and Cabbage. Professional staff. Respectable and simple Irish pub. Quieter in the bar than Lounge (music)

Went for the live band "Spicezzz", phenomenal band; vocalists accompanying the band were excellent, truly enjoyed the event. It was like being in a concert venue. Great atmosphere, and the bar staff were polite, friendly and professional. Drinks were decent too. I would come again. Seating area accommodated for groups which was great. Altogether, a great evening out. Well worth the cumbersome journey home by public transport.

Usually a really nice chargrilled chicken burger with salad, healthy and decently priced. Tonight, breaded deep fried chicken, not advertised on menu, completely different item. If I wanted that I’d have ordered McDonald’s. What on earth is going on, used to be so reliable

Always feels like a weekend in here.

Nice break from the bustle of the street with a great beer garden at front and rear. Steak was lovely, well cooked and everything nice at hot. Did feel it missed some greenery on the plate to make it pop (and healthier 🙊😂) would definitely recommend and return.

Fabulous local pub - recently visited for birthday drinks and dancing with live music on a Saturday night. Great bar staff, welcoming atmosphere and very accommodating to a group of overexcited friends. Thank you for a great evening! Shout out to the band for going above and beyond too!

Popped in with the nephews (6&9) for early dinner there being little else fitting in that area. To be honest, it wouldn’t be my first choice for the kids, (but certainly for me for a few!) but I was pleasantly surprised. After being greeted warmly and drinks for me and the boys got, the friendly woman behind the bar brought out a big tin of toys for the boys which they loved. We grabbed a couple of options for them from the kids menu, and they went the extra mile by adapting the younger child ‘s plate to accommodate his large number of allergies. The pub was busy with lots of old locals, who, rather than frowning at the presence of (well-behaved) children gave smiles and nod to add to the welcome.

The old hat is a very good place to come and have a wonderful Sunday roast dinner, good atmosphere and very relaxing environment I recommend it

Outside seating available and has heaters, employees are very friendly. Their live music is very entertaining, I recommend you to go💓

It's a cozy indoor area and also some spacey outdoors. Fish and chips was ok.. I enjoyed more chips when I order them as side dish with chicken wings. Red wine tested good though. Nice to watch a sport at the evenings. At weekends they play folk music mostly

Disappointing lack of vegan options, or even vegetarian, on the menu. Apart from a burger and pizza. Previously there were options and they were very keen to cater to various dietary requirements so this is very disappointing. Not everyone wants burgers and pizza while their group eats proper meals!

Nice place to spend evening with friends.

Awful experience. Ordered two starters and mains. The mainstream came out first with the starter only being bought out after we asked. We took the min dishes back and were given abuse and altitude, we were trying to point out the fact the starter should have been first.

Very rude staff. We were bought our main before the started. We took the main back just to be abuswd! It had gone cold.

Great pub, staff are brilliant, however the food has taken a massive turn. It’s use to be very good but I was actually shocked how bad the food quality has changed. Great for a night out but I wouldn’t eat here again

When we think about celebrations, the old hat Pub is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding, they also take parties which is amazing. Service was delightful and very professional. 10/10

Brilliant Sunday lunch … enjoyed every bit of it … plenty of meat, the vegetables were done just right! Will certainly be back for more! Oh and the wine was spot on !!!

Definitely worth a visit. This place has been refurbed with no expense spared. Amazing beer garden. A garden that just keeps getting better. Everyone from the bar staff to the customers are so friendly.

Nice pub. Drinks are expensive, West London prices. Only came across this pub as we were going on the Elizabeth line for the first time.

Sunday lunch was good value for money. Veggie option OK. My parents enjoyed their gammon and lamb dishes. Will visit again, I'm keen to see how the live music nights are.

Best pub in this area BY FAR. Cheaper, livelier, friendlier, bigger than all others in surrounding area. Lots of live music, affordable tasty food. Worth an extra walk if it’s further away than your local.

A very nice outdoor seating which they claim to be the best in Ealing 😁. Expensive drinks compared to other local pubs. Didn't taste the food there, may be next time will do that. Very nice ambience.

Popped in for first time in ages and beer good after years of being flat,will pop-in again.

After calling a handful of pubs to see if any tables available to watch FA Cup 2022, this was the only one that had tables available last minute so we set off to travel almost 40min to watch the game and judging by reviews great food. What a disappointment :( only good thing is selection of drinks and the pub being spacious. The biggest let down is the food, I’m pretty sure it’s either all frozen meals or ready-made just thrown into an oven to reheat it. Random crowds. Foggy to screen. Went home after half time.

Most of the bar staff are unfriendly and some are really rude. They should not be in the hospitality industry

The best Sunday roast in west London! Both the meat and the veggie options are sooo good 🤤🤤🤤 Great selection of gin, whiskey and tap beer + my all time favourite Guinness 🍻. Lovely atmosphere with many screens to watch sports and fantastic beer garden! 🔝
