Great bar to watch sports, extensive drinks menu with loads of tasty cocktails plus delicious food

We have been going for drinks for a long time. Today, Sunday, we have roast dinner and was truly delicious. The best we had for a long long time. Perfect!!

If you are looking for a Sheesha bar near Ealing Broadway try the castle bar, I didn't try their food so I have no idea about it.

Not a huge fan of shisha so this isn’t really my kind of place normally, but the food was a good portion size and was good quality, the vibe seemed pretty good and was busy, so can’t complain, would be happy to visit again.

Lovely place, great ambience and service. Food is so so, but it does seem there are more exciting options on the menu than burgers/chips/nachos.

The owner is super rude and argued with my friend for no reason.

Me and my friends always have a great time when we come to the castle bar. The atmosphere is extremely fun and bussing! The staff are really friendly and so helpful, they really help make your night excellent. The DJ always entertains with a fantastic range of music. If you're looking to have a fun night out with friends and enjoy great music, this is the place to come.

It’s great pub with great drinks however we were sitting next to speaker which was way too loud. Other than that it was great!

I was told by a colleague to go check out the new revamped Castlebar and admittedly it looked amazing, the money spent on the outdoor area and indoor area. Menu was also revamped. Why the bad review? I ordered wine and asked waitress to leave some menus if we decided to change our minds and order some food. I had a sip of wine and unfortunately the wind blew the menu into the wine resulting in the glass shattering and wine everywhere. I explained to the waitress the story who couldn't believe what had happened and questioned my story by saying I find it hard that wind could break the glass, i explained the wind blow open the menu into my drink. I run a restaurant in Uxbridge for many years and I expected the wine to be replaced, instead I was charged for a wine I didn't get to drink. I was charged for freak accident. Extremely disappointed with the service, if thats the way you recoup money then I won't be coming back here.

Very friendly staff and it’s a dog friendly restaurant. Stopped by in the middle of the walk with my dog on a hot day. The staff was very kind and offered water for my dog. The place was packed so we sat outside. Ordered the Tarte Tatin which was decent. Unfortunately, they’re understaffed so I never get the glass of water I was asking for.

For those who didn’t give it 5 stars, what happened? The food was “too good”? the waitresses were too welcoming? the place was too nice for u? Definitely a great restaurant with good food options and even better menu of drinks. Buddy the dog they have there is extremely polite and friendly. A place i hope to go again in the future, for a breakfast, lunch or dinner, they have it all.

Went to London for holidays and decided to have dinner and some drinks at the castlebar. It was an amazing place and gave my first visit to London such a nice impression. The food was super nice, arrived fast and the drinks menu had so many good options. The waitresses were very welcoming and they have the best company, buddy the dog was a kind baby, super gentle and friendly. Hope I have the chance to go there on my next visit to London.

Best loaded fries I've ever had! Also such a lovely atmosphere

I have been coming to this place for a while but only have ever come for drinks. Today i decided to go for a meal and it was awful. I ordered the chicken kebabs and the chicken was served to me with a horrible smell- it had gone off. I had to complain immediately because of how bad the smell was. The staff member handled it really well and offered me to choose another meal from the menu. My friend also had to complain about the fish burger, the fish tasted off but again they did change their meal with no fuss. The only meal that seemed decent was the loaded fries and chicken goujons. I think next time ill be sticking to the drinks only!

Absolutely fantastic! I had my birthday party over there we were just under 20 people the staff was amazing they have great communication and there is a great atmosphere over there. I am very happy I found this place and this is probably where I will have my next birthday again!

Visited The Castlebar in Ealing last week to catch up with friends and had a good night and experience. Upon entry, we were welcomed by the staff who were able to place us by the outside heaters as it was a very cold night. Surrounded by screens playing sports, which was to my surprise and a massive tick. They had a variety of options to choose from the menu, which is always good. I went for a beef burger, which was delicious, and the portion size was great. Also had on the side Garlic Chicken Goujons, which were massive, and battered shrimps. Overall food was prepared very quickly and to a great standard. The drinks menu was great, had loads to choose from, and had an option for everyone. Of course, I had to try the draft on tap.. excellent. Had a few shooters too to end the night and experience. There was also a DJ who added to the vibe, and he was spinning some good tracks 🎵 Defo recommend visiting and enjoying the ambience.

Had a lovely buffet lunch here after my uncle s funeral. The staff were wonderful could not fault the place

Not a pub, nor a bar. A hybrid venue great for watching sport. With a big heated dehors full of screens. Big food portions and plenty of tables. Table service a bit pushing about new orders. Just next to the high street so it can be noisy sometimes.

Perfect place to relax with or without friends, maybe preparing for the weekend, staff service was first class and what can I say about the food drinks and dessert worth waiting, they had big wide TV screens and to finish off with the music selection, I felt well treated and travelled without a passport, note they have a friendly dog called Buddy I think 🤔 house rules don't feed the dog

Our waitress Sally was so attentive, she made our day and delivered the best service, so friendly, warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I had the best time at the castle bar the cocktails were just what the doctor ordered 5 stars and the service well I felt very important my Shiaha was amazingly consistent and I cannot forget to mention “SALLY” the waitress who came with ALL the Zaaaaaa!!! Absolutely beautiful human being who provided the best night for us !!! Love you SALLY!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Just spent £7.76 on a pint of peroni. Last time i checked this is ealing broadway, not mayfair. Edit: after a while, i came to realise the place has got a really nice vibe, with a dj thats got bangers and alot of people to make the mood live. So ive changed my 3 star to a 4 star.

We had the Full English Breakfast and it was great. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Nice outside patio. Definitely coming back.

Honestly kinda disappointed with this, tapas style dinner kinda Meh for price point. Cocktails were really good but wouldn't waste your money on the food.

A great chill place to relax in the afternoon, watch your sports. They have great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is tasty and the Shisha is one of the best I tried in London! Weekends are a great party place as well. You have to book in advance but it’s worth it every time. After trying many places I highly recommend coming here :)

I love Castle Bar. It is an amazing atmosphere, tasty food, nice drinks. The staff is very attentive and they already know my usual orders. Very lucky to live next to it. Best bar in Ealing. Usual customer here.

The atmosphere there is overwhelming..especially the welcoming part just before you get in..The Security / Bouncer is very professional i believe his name is " Doni" 100+ % professional " Will most definitely recommend people to visit the place.

Friendly dogs can be found here, you can bring your own too. I had the ‘Eggs Royale’ for brunch, which is nice. I recommend the Mai Tai if you like rum.

I would like to tell you about this lovely pub on the Uxbridge road Ealing London, they do the most delicious food and I have to highlight the "mushy peas", they are anything but mush like you get everywhere else, you can taste the mint, beautiful. And the ladies that run the pub Maria & Anatella, are really lovely ladies very welcoming & friendly. So glad I discovered this pub, I will return again and again, it is such a relaxed & comfortable environment, I love it.

Geschmacklich ein Highlight 👍. Das Bier sehr lecker. Schönes Ambiente, werde bei einem Besuch in Ealing gerne wieder kommen. Eine Top-Empfehlung von mir.

The best place I have ever been to. Best customer service and very nice food. Everything in this place deserves five stars the service, food quality and prices are very cheap for all that effort. I travel 8 miles to go to it👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 and it deserves all that way

This place i have been many times and the food just gets better each time i come. The food taste is nothing less than the best and the presentation is of Michelin standard. Would recommend all on the menu if ever in ealing.

The seating inside is a bit uncomfortable except if u r actually seated at a table..there r couches on the side if the place is crowded ...the tables there are a bit uncomfortable to sit and eat at... The food was really good and yummy!

Best place to eat in Ealing. Freshly sourced food! The value for money for what you get is incredible. I am from Ealing and no one compares to them for breakfast lunch and dinner and believe you me, I have tried a few places. You are looked after well and service is outstanding. Nowadays, it seems to be overpriced for rubbish food, but HERE IT IS NOT! quality food for a great price. Thank you for always making myself and partner feel welcome!

El Chef ecuatoriano nos fue a tomar el pedido, ya que no hablamos muy bien ingles, nos preparó un plato más casero solo por nuestra petición de comer algo más variado. Excelente su servicio. El personal muy agradable y cercano (extraño en Londres). Lindo lugar, buen ambiente, comida abundante, aunque un poco caro en los precios.

Food was great but drinks on the pricey side but it is london after all but its the shisha that ruins it for me I couldn't enjoy the food too much for the clouds of shisha smoke everywhere all around me it was very off putting

A nice pub. I had my very first house burger today. It was delicious!

Staff hoovering around tables all the time, constantly asking if you need a drink. Not comfortable if you want a relaxing evening.

A decent restaurant and bar. They have a good indoor seating area and a huge outside seating area. The staff are very helpful. I went there to watch the Ind-Pak Asia cup match however most of the people there were watching the Arsenal and Man U match. They happily offered me a table facing the television and were courteous enough to turn on the match for me. I ordered some finger food which was pretty decent and the service was great. The price of the drinks are a bit expensive though. They also levy a 10% service charge. Overall a nice and decent restaurant and bar to visit.

I stopped off at the Castlebar on an early Saturday afternoon and the vibe of the place was chilled out. I only had tea but the atmosphere of the place, the decor and the furniture was cool. Castlebar also has a good beer garden too. I want to come back to try some food as the food served to other customers looked and smelt nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The toilet facilities were very good too. Well worth a visit if in the Ealing area

It was very quiet at lunch time, which was enjoyable. The pub was clean and the waitresses were friendly and efficient. I had the grilled halloumi wrap and it was perfectly cooked.
