Caspian Sandwich Bar in Ealing

I hate to give a 1-star review, but unfortunately, the food was just not good at all. We ordered sausage bandari, expecting something authentic, but it was far from it. There was a noticeable taste of curry powder, which didn’t belong in the dish. On the plus side, the chips were nice. However, after the meal and throughout the night, we experienced the worst stomach ache we've had in a long time. It’s really disappointing because we used to come here regularly for over 20 years, but the quality has declined drastically. Sadly, I won't be going back.

I have to give them one star for misleading prices. in bold letters it says £6.99 but if you look very carefully, it says from £6.99. I’ve given it one star because I believe they should do more to ensure that customers are not misled when buying food. you got me in there for a bargain and then you told me actually it’s not a bargain because that’s not the price. So one star for this place.

For me this place does the best smash burger in West London. Nothing over the top fancy in terms of the menu, they do the classic most popular burger options (cheese burger etc) extremely well. Perfect amount of sauces and caramelised unions. Chips are usually a bit overdone (in my opinion anyway) but you can ask them to lightly fry them as well. I come by at least once per month. An easy recommendation!

Been coming here for years, food and service are exceptional. Always incredible quality.

I ate a very delicious Iranian sandwich today after a long time. I suggest it to you. What made that meal different was that the bread was not bulky and the bread dough was drained and inside the bread was only meat and side dishes, and I was not satisfied with the bread dough, but with meat and vegetables. Be sure to try it, it is really worth eating.

Amazing burger with an amazing service

I ordered special hotdog, it was delicious. Reminded me of Iran. But the food are so pricy and expensive, it is unlikely that i will order often in the future, maybe once in a while.

I don’t recommending that place at all . First of all the person who work there wasn’t ready for his hop at all , the way talking looks like he feels he’s A pilot or a cardiologist . The food it’s not good at all . The guy just keep talking about system I can’t understand what he exactly mean ( system system system) . I wish I didn’t listen to my friend to come this place

Low quality of food Waste of money

At most, i liked it however once i found a hair in the beef : the staff was denying who's it was. Also his behaviour was very poor against regular costumers.

It was the wosrt burger I’ve ever tried.!!I chose a burger from special offer but nobody informed me that this one is totally different from the main menu. It was a terrible experience and I would not go back again.

I read some good reviews of the burger and I decided to try it. Cheeseburger was £10 compared to another burger shop in town it's absolutely nothing special. It wasn't tasty at all and was poor quality. I won't go there again and don’t recommend that.

It's an authentic Iranian sandwich shop with a wide range of tasty sandwiches and great service. Highly recommended!

Sadly, their food quality is gone down, I ordered a sandwich today 26/12/22, tbh it was one of the worst food ever. my feedback was very different from what I had three years back. From three years a go: (Lovely and freshly made persian style sandwiches, I ordered a Maghz and I really enjoyed it.)

Excellent food and very well organised. I used Caspian to cater a large event and the sandwiches were all ready on time and served in containers for easy access. Great communication with the owner and would definitely recommend for small or larger orders!

This place is going down sadly They made a big mistake changing the cosy environment and now no one wants to go there. The food quality and quantities no longer the same and place feel very cold. Been there few times, food OK but nothing special at all. I will not go back there again

Went there after seeing the photos of the food. Walked in and staff was leaning back on his chair chatting to another guy, no interest in customers walking in. Looking through the menu, they only do burgers, no pizza and none of the sandwiches in the photos. Waiting a while and still no interest from the staff, he's still chatting to another guy, until the phone rang and he went off talking on the phone. We walked out at that point.

Tasty sandwiches, good quality food and great service. I always take my family and friends there every time fancy a burger… I am not exaggerating to say they have one of the best burgers in town. Thank you for the nice food and service!!! 🙏🙏🙏

We use this place for over 6years and always happy with the food. Didn’t have a good experience in my last two visit. Chicken burgers nearly have any chicken Small fillings and poor quality, not value for money at all. Definitely won’t return and I don’t suggest to anyone waste of money.

Saw this amazing tiny cosy restaurant on high street and walked in. Upon asking for the suggestions, the man on till suggested me the Volcano Burger it had 2 perfectly done beef patties, caramelized onions, right amount of cheese served with chips and a chilled pepsi. Overall: 9.5/10 Definitely going back there

I am a wheelchair ‌user. I wanted to have some sandwich with my friend, but their shop didn't have ramp. The Equality Act 2010 requires all buildings to have disabled access. you can easily make your shop accessible by ordering one of the manual ramps from Amazon. hope you will respect the law and make your services accessible for everyone.

Best sandwich bar in town, so glad I found this place. The quality of the food was amazing, and the customer service was excellent. I had the burgers and you cannot compare them to any other place, it was like having fresh home made burgers but in a restaurant environment. The owner made us very welcome. I will be bringing my police colleagues to this little gem in the very near future.

Excellent customer service and food. We had burgers and the quality was outstanding. Came here with a fussy eater who normally would not eat anything but the owner really accommodated him and it is now our faviourite place.. we will be back! . I would definitely recommend this place especially the child friendly atmosphere and also the quality of the food.

Not only they don't accept cash!!!! Also even when you order disrespectfully they don't place your order until they get your money, despite they sent us away to get the cash. IT"S ABSOLUTELY waste of time.

Unwilling to accommodate a request for salad in the burger without a significant increase in price. Oven chips served and felt cheap from start to finish which is not reflected in the price. I won’t be returning.

Absolutely amazing sandwiches! The quality of the sandwiches are amazing especially for the price. The service and owner is incredibly friendly. 7 orders and all 7 guests loved the sandwiches. I would happily come back and order more.

One of the best sandwich bars in London. You can eat there to take away. Everything is made fresh to order. This is not your usuals boring sandwiches. They are tastes of Iran. Not spicy but full of flavour and they can make it spicy if you like. Must try the Bandari. The classic burger will also surprise you. Just a different class and one the hidden gems of London.

Unfortunately, the quality of food has gone down hill, and customer service is literally none existent. This comes from a regular customer who wrote the review below 10 months ago. Love the sandwiches here, always fresh, super tasty, very clean and attentive polite staff, highly recommend.

The owner is a nice fellow and made the customer feel welcome. The same could not be said about the food in general. I ordered a sosis bandari, chips and a soft drink which set me back 14 quid. There is no way a sandwich which contains a few pieces of processed sausage meet covered with spices tomato paste costs 10 pounds. You can order a salt beef sandwich or a chelo kebab for that price. An average meal vastly overpriced.

I wish I could give zero star!! If you want authentic Persian style sandwiches, stay away and don’t waste your money here!! Small fillings and poor quality, not value for money at all. Just paying £10 for a baguette with something in the middle.. I’m really suspicious about other good reviews!! How is it even possible! Wouldn’t go back nor recommend! Very disappointed

Fair, it’s Iranian and not everywhere. But your price is utterly unreasonable. You don’t cut the meat, don’t feed the cows, you buy the normal material, Normal gherkins and normal cheese and normal burgers. 15 pounds for a burger and fizzy drink. You lost me at least! 10 pounds is your minimum! Jesus!

Nice sandwich bar but owner please know, cash only is not working anymore, plus if you want us to leave don’t turn off the heater and open the door, people are not dumb, we know what you’re doing. The good thing is they have delicious sandwiches.

This is one of our favourite sandwich bars. Their special never fails !!! Been having their sandwiches since the day it opened and still the same taste. Friendly staff and we liked the refurbishment aswell.

BEST BURGERS!!! I have been to many burger places and I can honestly say this is the best burger I have tasted. I am in love with the hot dog/stake and cheese and the special burger. I always order all 3 as I honestly can not choose my favourite. Today I ordered their Pizza for the first time and looks like another favourite has been added to the list.

Caspian Sandwich serves the best Persian style sandwiches in London with no doubt. I’ve always had fantastic experiences during the past 6 years whenever I wanted to have a Persian sandwiches. Great quality and 100% recommended specifically with a Persian beer Istak as you see in the photos below.

This is the best burger shop in West London . Variation of burger and hot dog . The burger are home made in the shop by chef . Very high standard of hygiene and cleaning .

The best sandwich shop offering hot meals. My favourite is steak sandwich but don't let you stop on that one without trying any others. Such a great and healthy alternative. They also offer a nice selection of vegetarian choices.

Your kookoo sabzi sandwich always has an issue,once it was too old,not fresh,other time it was so fresh and lovely taste but not sufficient tomato or gherkins inside the sandwich,other time I was just eating bread!!!thin layer of kookoo and nothing.............nothing else was there!!!!

We ordered over the phone 2 burgers and 3 hot dogs; however the guy who was also the owner misunderstood that the order was for 3 burgers and 3 hot dogs; when we picked up we realised the extra burger and asked him why you added an extra one but he was very rude and aggressively argued that he is correct and we are wrong; his reaction was a surprise to us and never experienced such behaviour. Will never try this place again and won’t recommend it.

Good sandwiches, but it has become too pricy, too greedy ... They need to lower their prices, almost £10 for a spicy hot dog baguette sandwich ... The drink prices are also outrageous... This is too ridiculous... Why?

The best burger I have had served with delicious fries you must go and try it!

A little pricey but they do serve the most delicious burger!! It’s the “special” beef burger. People, you MUST try it! You’ll get hooked on it. Ask for a little extra onion and parsley and ohhhh my oh my...spectacular!

Nice atmosphere cosy place and amazing hamburger that taste fresh and are delicious !

We have had sandwiches from several places claim they are the best but I can guarantee you the Caspian is stand out of the crowd and have many things to say . We are not regular costumer but we have been there at lease 4-5 times last year , the taste of sandwiches are really good and the smile of the people behind the counter is the garnish on that . I do hope they stay consistent and keep the service high .

A very authentic taste of persian sandwich, I have been going there for a number of years now and never been disappointed. Will go again for sure.

The food is becoming SO OVER PRICED. You guys should stop increasing your prices. I used to eat there at least once a week and now I eat there once every two or three months. If I wanna spend £9 on a maghzo zaban or £8 on a special burger, I'll rather go to Persian Place and have a proper portion of kebab and rice for £9.50 or £11 for a joje kebab. I'm sure majority would prefer that.
