Coffee was great (just like I remember it from all the other 20 times visiting various of the Grind spots in London). The food we tried, however, was not really good. Both the almond croissant and the caramel bite were not freshly baked.

Got a matcha to go, was creamy and smooth.

Just got back from a month long trip to London and this was the best coffee my group and I had the whole trip. The spanish latte was especially good. The employees were very friendly and gave great service. They have limiseating upstairs but there is a lounge downstairs that is super cozy. Highly recommend this place.

The coffee was great but I couldn't leave a good review because the staff was unprofessional. When I visited the shop last night, there was a male and female staff and the male staff was impolite. When I asked if there is any tea then he just tapped the menu with his finger point without saying a word. When I ordered 4 drinks and asked if there were any lids then he told me behind the machine. His answer was very annoyed and had the tone of an angry person but when he was talking to his colleague, he was smiling and very friendly. The male staff seemed to be a good barista and had been working at the shop for a long time. I'm sure he will continue to work in hospitality I would like to say that you shouldn't act duplicitous It's not right to discriminate or disrespect people in front of them.

Thank you for the incredible coffee every day! It consistently brightens my mornings and makes my day so much better. Without a doubt, this is my favourite coffee shop in London. Not only is the coffee delicious, but the warm, friendly service makes every visit special. Quick duck in for a couple of d-espressos, lovely flavoursome roast. Right up my street.

Coffee: excellent arabica from India. The coffee is also well made. The bartender does both the purge and the filter cleaning. The further you travel from Italy, the better you taste coffee. Those bigoted Italians who claim that the best coffee is drunk in Italy should just leave the house. Service: kind and friendly. Optimal Atmosphere: right in Soho, nice background music.

Best coffee in town. If you up for a drink even better, you will have such a nice cocktail bar area downstairs. Cocktail are very nice. I would recommend the espresso martini for a extra kick of caffeine.

Exhibit a of why tipping culture is out of control. Tips start at 12% and go up. Asked for a cup got paper instead. Good thing I didn’t tip!

Being forced to pay a 12.5% service change to drink my coffee in. The “dining in fee” was the guy leaning forward and pressing the service charge button before I paid. I don’t know if this is a brand decision or the local branch but I won’t be returning. American style tipping does not belong in the UK.

Walked here especially as we’ve been before and love supporting independent businesses to be told to put our laptops away as we wasnt keeping with the vibe. We were told we wasnt aloud to use our laptops downstairs as they wanted to keep an non work vibe, but surely this company was built by the self employed? I asked if we could stay until a table upstairs became free but got a weird shugged response as i guess he wasnt used to people asking why. So we had to leave as we had no other option, the upstairs was full and i wasn’t aloud to work downstairs. Do better Grind. I thought you were more welcoming than that. Maybe you’ve gotten too big for your boots.

Having walked quite a way through the thunder and rain simply because we wanted to support smaller businesses instead of the typical high street coffee chains, we sat and were instantly approached and told to leave as we pulled out a laptop because we "didn't suit the vibe" ... seriously? We were about to give you business and support a smaller companies with an order of multiple coffees and food. Safe to say I won't be back. The fact this company was started by someone self employed and you kicked out a self employed small business (me and a business partner) because we didn't fit your criteria... just wow. (Bare in mind it wasn't busy either...) Not good guys, not good.

I often go to Soho Grind because I work nearby, and I think it's the best among the cafes nearby! It tastes like coffee, and these new drinks are really the best. And I don't really like the unique taste of matcha, but I was curious, so I ordered it, and it was so delicious that I've been buying it for three days in a row. Haha. In particular, among the staff, Jamie and Numchha make the best drink🫶🫶 I don't know the names of all the other employees, but all the employees, past and present, are friendly and nice haha. Sorry I don't remember everyone's names, but I want to thank everyone for chatting with me and for making the amazing drinks!

I visited Grind, hoping to see more of their Hello Kitty collaboration, but aside from the window display, it wasn't very evident. The coffee wasn't strong, but the glass was big. The coffee place is kinda cute, with limited seating inside. The staff was just okay.

The coffee flavor of the latte didn't suit my taste, so I couldn't finish it and threw it away. Have something other than a latte. I didn't expect coffee from England... haha... And the staff is very unfriendly. I tried to explain everything in English as kindly as possible, but they pretended not to understand. I went there because of the good ratings, but go only after Koreans.

Very convenient for a quick drink while in Soho! The barista was extremely nice and accommodating by making me a cold chai with no ice as most places nowadays refuse to make cold drinks without it. Didn’t take cash but did do NHS discount which was great :)

We came to Grind here for a pit stop coffee and it did not disappoint located in the middle of Soho right next to the entrance to Kingly court. The coffee was amazing with both the normal flat white and oat flat white tasting amazing with no bitterness.

Had a cocktail before dinner elsewhere. Was delicious. Not really enough seating, and servers from upstairs kept seating people before us which was annoying. But the cocktail was spot on. A black forest cosmopolitan style cocktail

I have been a Starbucks man the last 5 years....but then I met Brandon (The Hair), Hennesy (The Guy with the Beanie) and of-course Phoebe (The Valeriya). From the bottom of my heart, I can happily say they have converted me to Grind. I come 4 times a day, Monday to Friday, for the insanely rich coffee and witty banter that you just dont get elsewhere. Phoebe Brandon and The Beanie I really appreciate the relationship. I think the whole office comes to Grind soho now haha. Referral fee ? haha But on a serious note, I hope those 3 particularly are compensated with a bonus or commission scheme or something as they are the only reason a lot of daily office workers, like myself, come to Grind and stay coming to Grind. Thanks team Soho Grind! (will see u in an hour or 2 for my Oat latte) P.S The new banana bread.... is not it. It's not giving.

It was very disrespectful and annoying to tell us that we cannot take our coffees and food downstairs ONCE we have ordered them. There were no seating left upstairs so I do not know what the staff were expecting us to do. The male barista with a beanie on had a huge attitude for us and one other couple who had walked in to order, when we asked where do we sit? The lady who took our orders tried to help but the male barista with the beanie, told her to "leave it" as if a solution was provided for us. The other couple walked out but for us it was too late so we had to quickly have our coffee and leave. Next time let people know before we order and be polite as it was your mistake in not letting us know before we had ordered. We/the other couple did not do anything wrong in questioning as it was not made aware to us. The seating situation only came clear as the man from the other couple went downstairs and he was stopped and was told very rudely that downstairs is closed unless he orders a cocktail. I have visited countless Grind locations and together, me and partner are a huge fan but this was a very disappointing experience and most likely will not be visiting this site again nor recommending it. Very unfortunate.

My favourite coffee spot (and chain)

Arrived there at 6:58 and the store closes at 7. The barista was kind enough to allow me to order even as she was cleaning up. The coffee itself is great. Would definitely go back again!

The best cappuccino I tired in London

I went to grind last week, and had a stunning coffee and a cinnamon roll. I was served impecably by a barista called Phoebe. She also managed to start me up on a subscription to the grind pods which are perfect for my fast paced morning! Will definitly be back🙏🏼

Depending on the time, this place can get seriously busy. Downstairs has some cosy seating with a bar that opens up later on in the day. Coffee and service ate always consistently great, and it's peaceful enough to enjoy your coffee without too much of a distraction.

Unlike most cafeterias around Soho, Grind offers coffee of excellent quality, friendly staff, nice non-commercial ambient, toilets, free tap water and nice view to beak street! Highly recommended

Nice coffee place and yummy pastries. Shame the inside is quite narrow and squashed. The upstairs section is high stools along a long bar table. It was ok for me, but not great if you have a bad back and need support from your chair. There is more comfier seating downstairs but unfortunately it was all taken. Slightly on the pricier side for tea/coffee and cake. Servers were friendly.

If you want to run a coffee shop, please hire staff that is actually tolerant of the fact that you will, you know, have customers *inside* the actual shop. The staff here is absolutely ridiculous. Very passive-aggressive at first, then outright rude. Never coming back, and making sure everyone I know knows not to come here.

An inviting and cozy space to have a delicious coffee served by a very friendly staff. Was looking for an afternoon reprieve from the rain and Grind more than delivered! Thanks to manager Adrian for creating an environment where patrons can feel comfortable to enjoy a delicious drink. The music was spot on too!

I’m Phoebe and I love coffee, my friend Charlie highly recommended grind to me and I was blown away. Such a lovely team Jack, Fabio, Lydia, Adrian and Dorothea are all so wonderful and attentive. 10/10 will grind again!!!

I had high hopes for this one but didn’t enjoy the coffee at all. It tasted burnt, pretty much like your regular Starbucks or Pret coffee. Would avoid if you’re after a speciality coffee.

Extremely rude! No one was in the coffee shop and one of the staff members asked us to wait behind the coffee machine for our coffees to be prepared. But when we went to stand there another staff member asked us to move from there so they could set up glasses. So, we eventually just stood outside to wait because they were so rude and made us feel uncomfortable. It was almost like we were inconveniencing them by ordering coffee.

I come in here occasionally and usually sit in the window to read and watch the world go by. Today I tried the filter coffee for the first time which was excellent, light and fruity and not at all bitter. The staff here are always very friendly.

I came here after I saw there ad in a Magazine. I ordered a Filter coffee when I was going to pay for it in cash she told only card payments. I told her there no signs anywhere saying No cash. The coffee was not even hot just Luke warm coffee. For £3 for a Filter Luke warm water coffee.

Had a iced coffee, really quick service, people didn’t need to wait long. Wish I would have taken away a hot coffee afterwards now!

Nice looking small coffee shop, Had a flat white and cappuccino. Coffee was very weak for a flat white and my partner’s cappuccino got the reaction “no” on the first taste. It was very weak. On the way out was asked how was the coffee, I said too weak… response “get a small one next time” clearly my fault.. Disappointing coffee, disappointing response

I found this small coffee shop with seats downstairs in the centre of Soho. I sat on a bench in the window which was great. I had an americano with hot milk. The coffee was delicious and full of flavour.

Great place friendly staff and clean toilets

Always friendly staff, exceptionally smooth coffee. If you're near Golden Square or Reagent Street and ready for a bit of caffeine this is an easy and sure recommendation. Never been disappointed with any espresso drink here!

What an amazing place. ! Wine to there few months ago and found the coffee strong so the lady was so sweet and made me another beautiful one straightway even let me eat my take out donut! Lol. Keep it up. Went there late after a burger and really enjoyed the service.
