Daniel was a delight, and the only reason I would come back

We came to Grind here for a pit stop coffee and it did not disappoint located in the middle of Soho right next to the entrance to Kingly court. The coffee was amazing with both the normal flat white and oat flat white tasting amazing with no bitterness.

Great coffee, best macchiato I've ever tried, good decaf beans.

Had a cocktail before dinner elsewhere. Was delicious. Not really enough seating, and servers from upstairs kept seating people before us which was annoying. But the cocktail was spot on. A black forest cosmopolitan style cocktail

Unfortunately, no matter how much you spend designing the business brand book, bad coffee done badly is still a bad coffee. Sadly.

I have been a Starbucks man the last 5 years....but then I met Brandon (The Hair), Hennesy (The Guy with the Beanie) and of-course Phoebe (The Valeriya). From the bottom of my heart, I can happily say they have converted me to Grind. I come 4 times a day, Monday to Friday, for the insanely rich coffee and witty banter that you just dont get elsewhere. Phoebe Brandon and The Beanie I really appreciate the relationship. I think the whole office comes to Grind soho now haha. Referral fee ? haha But on a serious note, I hope those 3 particularly are compensated with a bonus or commission scheme or something as they are the only reason a lot of daily office workers, like myself, come to Grind and stay coming to Grind. Thanks team Soho Grind! (will see u in an hour or 2 for my Oat latte) P.S The new banana bread.... is not it. It's not giving.

It was very disrespectful and annoying to tell us that we cannot take our coffees and food downstairs ONCE we have ordered them. There were no seating left upstairs so I do not know what the staff were expecting us to do. The male barista with a beanie on had a huge attitude for us and one other couple who had walked in to order, when we asked where do we sit? The lady who took our orders tried to help but the male barista with the beanie, told her to "leave it" as if a solution was provided for us. The other couple walked out but for us it was too late so we had to quickly have our coffee and leave. Next time let people know before we order and be polite as it was your mistake in not letting us know before we had ordered. We/the other couple did not do anything wrong in questioning as it was not made aware to us. The seating situation only came clear as the man from the other couple went downstairs and he was stopped and was told very rudely that downstairs is closed unless he orders a cocktail. I have visited countless Grind locations and together, me and partner are a huge fan but this was a very disappointing experience and most likely will not be visiting this site again nor recommending it. Very unfortunate.

My favourite coffee spot (and chain)

Arrived there at 6:58 and the store closes at 7. The barista was kind enough to allow me to order even as she was cleaning up. The coffee itself is great. Would definitely go back again!

Brilliant coffee! Another branch of Grind which is just perfect, the people serving the coffee were so jolly and welcoming! The coffee was served at the perfect temperature.

The best cappuccino I tired in London

I went to grind last week, and had a stunning coffee and a cinnamon roll. I was served impecably by a barista called Phoebe. She also managed to start me up on a subscription to the grind pods which are perfect for my fast paced morning! Will definitly be back🙏🏼

Depending on the time, this place can get seriously busy. Downstairs has some cosy seating with a bar that opens up later on in the day. Coffee and service ate always consistently great, and it's peaceful enough to enjoy your coffee without too much of a distraction.

I have to say, the coffee I had in Grind was absolutely top-notch! And let me tell you, Jammy, the coffee magician, really knows how to work that brew. Highly recommend this place for a delightful sip of that liquid magic!

Unlike most cafeterias around Soho, Grind offers coffee of excellent quality, friendly staff, nice non-commercial ambient, toilets, free tap water and nice view to beak street! Highly recommended

Nice coffee place and yummy pastries. Shame the inside is quite narrow and squashed. The upstairs section is high stools along a long bar table. It was ok for me, but not great if you have a bad back and need support from your chair. There is more comfier seating downstairs but unfortunately it was all taken. Slightly on the pricier side for tea/coffee and cake. Servers were friendly.

If you want to run a coffee shop, please hire staff that is actually tolerant of the fact that you will, you know, have customers *inside* the actual shop. The staff here is absolutely ridiculous. Very passive-aggressive at first, then outright rude. Never coming back, and making sure everyone I know knows not to come here.

Great coffee, great service. Busy in the mornings though as it's quite popular with the 9 to 5 crowds. Usual order is a flat white, so never disappoints. Also cocktails in the evening. 5/7, better than the dark night ❤️

An inviting and cozy space to have a delicious coffee served by a very friendly staff. Was looking for an afternoon reprieve from the rain and Grind more than delivered! Thanks to manager Adrian for creating an environment where patrons can feel comfortable to enjoy a delicious drink. The music was spot on too!

I’m Phoebe and I love coffee, my friend Charlie highly recommended grind to me and I was blown away. Such a lovely team Jack, Fabio, Lydia, Adrian and Dorothea are all so wonderful and attentive. 10/10 will grind again!!!

I had high hopes for this one but didn’t enjoy the coffee at all. It tasted burnt, pretty much like your regular Starbucks or Pret coffee. Would avoid if you’re after a speciality coffee.

Extremely rude! No one was in the coffee shop and one of the staff members asked us to wait behind the coffee machine for our coffees to be prepared. But when we went to stand there another staff member asked us to move from there so they could set up glasses. So, we eventually just stood outside to wait because they were so rude and made us feel uncomfortable. It was almost like we were inconveniencing them by ordering coffee.

I come in here occasionally and usually sit in the window to read and watch the world go by. Today I tried the filter coffee for the first time which was excellent, light and fruity and not at all bitter. The staff here are always very friendly.

I came here after I saw there ad in a Magazine. I ordered a Filter coffee when I was going to pay for it in cash she told only card payments. I told her there no signs anywhere saying No cash. The coffee was not even hot just Luke warm coffee. For £3 for a Filter Luke warm water coffee.

Had a iced coffee, really quick service, people didn’t need to wait long. Wish I would have taken away a hot coffee afterwards now!

Nice looking small coffee shop, Had a flat white and cappuccino. Coffee was very weak for a flat white and my partner’s cappuccino got the reaction “no” on the first taste. It was very weak. On the way out was asked how was the coffee, I said too weak… response “get a small one next time” clearly my fault.. Disappointing coffee, disappointing response

I found this small coffee shop with seats downstairs in the centre of Soho. I sat on a bench in the window which was great. I had an americano with hot milk. The coffee was delicious and full of flavour.

Great place friendly staff and clean toilets

Always friendly staff, exceptionally smooth coffee. If you're near Golden Square or Reagent Street and ready for a bit of caffeine this is an easy and sure recommendation. Never been disappointed with any espresso drink here!

What an amazing place. ! Wine to there few months ago and found the coffee strong so the lady was so sweet and made me another beautiful one straightway even let me eat my take out donut! Lol. Keep it up. Went there late after a burger and really enjoyed the service.

I've visited this particular Coffee Spot many times because the coffee is simply spectacular! The staff at this branch of the grind are very friendly and welcoming I never have any issues at all. A perfect example of a coffee shop ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I also happen to be one of the top coffee reviewers in London so when I say a Coffee shop is worth the extra mile to visit it 100% is !

Very good spot to catch-up with friends - polite staff, and a wide selection of drinks. Downstairs you can find a bar - crowded in the evenings.

Nice quaint little spot in central. Good drinks, friendly staff and overall chilled atmosphere. I would reccomend for sure. My only reservation is that this bar doesnt have an exclusive bar license, so any purchase of alcohol must be accompanied by a plate of food. The hommous and dip is a tasty snack - theres no denial, however I would prefer to have the choice whether i want to eat rather than it be a manditory requirement.

We popped in for a coffee on Tuesday morning & we were greeted by a really friendly guy who was amazing. So helpful & welcoming, he was great. It was my first visit to Grind & I was really impressed, our coffees were brought to us downstairs & they were very good. They have a cosy little area downstairs where we sat for a while, we downloaded the App the Barista had mentioned to us & as we went upstairs even though he was busy with customers he downloaded our 2 coffees onto the App for us. We will definitely be back. On a slightly less positive note later on we were in Covent Garden & saw that there was a Grind there, we thought we would try their juices. Sadly the the girl on the till wasn’t very friendly & although we tried to engage with her she wasn’t having any of it ( maybe she was just having a bad day ). If only everyone was as great as the Soho Grind staff.

Was around the Carnaby street area and needed to find a place close by, that served "decent "coffee . Read the reviews of this place and so decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed. it is an unassuming place just around the corner from Carnaby street . The coffee was a good quality , the service was quick and friendly. Managed to find a seat upstairs ,but there seemed to be plenty of spaces downstairs aswell. Would go back, if in the area again or if near another one.

After making my way through list after list of THE best coffee places in London, I finally made it to Grind. One of the best coffees in London in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it shop in Soho. Remember, always skip the coffee shop chains and opt for better quality at the same price in places like Soho Grind!

Definitely recommend a visit to this place for great coffee. They also have the best Espresso Martinis in the area.

We had coffee here on several occasions during our week in London before the marathon. The lady suggested that I try a filter coffee. I have to say that it was a world-class drink. Very good service too. We felt comfy going back for coffee on a number of occasions.

From a true coffee lover let me tell you that these guys know their coffee... It's rich in flavor but not too much... Plus, they offer a discount if you come with your own cup to help reduce waste - great job guys!

Excellent niche coffee shop. It is pretty much peak hipster but their coffee blends and pour overs are fantastic. Highly recommended if in the area. Not much room inside to sit and hang out but good to grab and go.

It started raining as I was walking along Soho, so I google where the best coffee places to take shelter. I walked into Grind which has a cool hipster vibe with great music. I ordered a cappuccino hoping to warm up but it was cold and for 3 pounds not very big. Yeah it tasted nice but... come on, not worth the 3 pounds I paid. I have to say I was a bit disappointed

Nice little coffee joint on a busy street in Soho. Pretty cool decor, good coffee and friendly staff. No frills and gets the basics right. A little on the high side but probably about average price for a coffee in London.

I’m a super fussy coffee drinker and very much enjoyed my double shot cappuccino. Not a great deal of seating space upstairs but more downstairs. Kindly staff unplugged their til iPad to charge my almost dead iPhone while I enjoyed my coffee and people watching.

We love the vibe in this place. The staff are great and the coffee and hot chocolate are delicious. If you're nice, they'll make you a fetching foam swan on your coffee 🙂

Good for a takeaway coffee, the space is really small for a sit down and there's no wifi.

I had an ham and cheese croissant that was quite tasteless,and a macchiato coffee that was even worse. This would be excusable if the price were lower than average, but for more than 5£ I think it really doesn't worth.

Asked for a gluten free desert. Got a cake. Asked twice if it is gluten free. It was not gluten free. Ruined the weekend.

Really great tasting coffee, often a queue at rush hour (a good sign). I would like my coffee hotter than it is served here but that's a personal take on things and probably something which could be resolved if I told them!
