El lugar parecía encantador y nos recibió una encantadora jovencita que estaba sirviendo nuestra mesa. Pedimos bebidas y cuando llegaron un joven dejó caer una bebida por todo el abrigo de mis hermanos. No estábamos enojados porque los accidentes suceden y el pobre tipo era muy apologético. Luego pedimos nuestra comida y cuando llegó nos arropamos todos. Mi hermano tenía el confit de pato que parecía estar bastante bien hecho, pero sin embargo se arropó. Sin embargo, sabía bastante a pescado, pensó que quizás había gambas o algo así, pero siguió tratando de no causar alboroto. Sólo para vomitar en los baños 15 minutos después. Era mi primera vez aquí y tuve un almuerzo fantástico! Me alegró ver que los vegetarianos y veganos son atendidos. La comida es absolutamente deliciosa y el servicio impecable. Tuvimos un entrante seguido de un plato principal y eran de primera categoría. También aprovechamos la oferta especial del 50% de descuento en la red eléctrica al pedir dos platos, por lo que una ganga, también. El lugar se siente muy espacioso, por lo que no se sentía lleno en absoluto y tampoco era demasiado ruidoso, incluso cuando estaba ocupado. Muy recomendable!

Food was really tasty, the hake and the Basque cheesecake were both delicious. The only problem was that the restaurant was really busy and service as a result was poor and the restaurant was too loud to even hold a conversation.

We had our office Christmas party for 12 people last week and had a great night. Very busy, but we had lovely service. Sam, Barbara and the staff made us feel very welcome. Great value for money and highly recommended. Thank you for all your hard work.

We had our corporate christmas lunch here and service was awful- arrived at 12, didn’t get served starters until after 1, then waiting again 30 mins for main course. Starter portion was also tiny with stale bread

I always have to visit Brasserie Blanc each time I visit London - I've always enjoyed their food. This one had two-for-one drinks when I visited on a Friday night (very nice) The French onion soup was a bit lacking in soup flavours (and cheese) this time - I can't remember how it was previously. Escargots they only had the 6 option unfortunately but that was good (probably could be a little bit more garlicky) I had a dilemma of what to eat for the main - there was so much I wanted to try .

The place has a nice vibe and good drinks but the food is average. We tried the beetroot terrine, mussels, pork loin and the seasonal dessert. The mussels were really not flavourful and the dessert was a little blah. The rest of the food was good, but nothing to write home about. The service was really good!

We had lunch here, and while the food was generally enjoyable, our experience was mixed. The burger was delicious —well-prepared and flavorful—but some of the other dishes lacked seasoning and felt a bit bland. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. One of our group members ordered a starter, and to our surprise, the staff held off serving the main courses for everyone else until the starter was finished. We weren’t informed about this beforehand and only discovered it when we asked about the delay. This miscommunication spoiled an otherwise pleasant meal.

They have changed the menu, e.g. stopped serving French Beans. In a French menu? Go figure

Delicious food, beautiful setting, attentive service.

We held a private dining event here for 26 of us on their mezzanine floor. The restaurant was very accommodating with our requests, and well organised. We were able to use the TV at the end of the mezzanine floor for a presentation. The restaurant printed out all our names and menu choices as our name card place holders so it was easy for everyone to receive their meal choices. The drinks order was quick and easy, the food that came out was delicious and really good value for really good quality (always get nervous with large group dining!) The service was very good as well. Would not hesitate to come back for big group dining again!

I have recently visited your restaurant and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I ordered full English breakfast but when it arrived, the toast was burnt. I politely asked the server to have it redone, but when it came back, it was still burnt. This was really frustrating, as it affected my overall enjoyment of the meal. Less than average breakfast. Would not recommend.

One of my favourit dining spots in comparison to other options around for the same price level. Well garnished and satisfying dishes although not explosively. Good range of choices on the menu. Inflated price but you pay for the location. Pistachio souffle is hugely comforting. BUT! Why do they replace pistachio with almond to reduce cost especially for this price tag!? Basque cheesecake isn't authentic neither. Maybe they think most people won't notice that anyway so opportunity to maximize profit. I'd still recommend it if you are in the area.

El restaurante estaba bastante vacío cuando llegamos a las 6 pm, pero se llenó rápidamente creando un ambiente encantador en el espacio de doble altura. El servicio fue excelente, todos los cursos y opciones muy agradable. Tuvimos la mesa durante más de 3 horas y nunca se hizo sentir apresurado. El restaurante todavía estaba muy ocupado cuando nos fuimos después de las 9 pm. Sin duda recomendaría y volvería a visitar.

My husband and I were greeted and made to feel welcome the moment we stepped through the door. The service we received was excellent: highly attentive but at no point obtrusive and the food was delicious!! All in all, a lovely way to start our weekend off. 🤗

Nice food, friendly and efficient service

Having dined at the Southbank restaurant earlier in the year, my wife and I came down from Aberdeen for one of our wedding anniversary meals and the restaurant on Threadneedle Street was worth every minute of the long journey! The food was excellent and we really appreciated the service.

Lovely, cozy restaurant. We received a voucher as a gift from our Friend. Considering it was a Friday afternoon, it wasn't too busy, which made it enjoyable. The food was tasty, and the service was friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone with a warm heart!"

I had the sirloin steak with chips and greens. It was a busy lunch period but the food came out quickly and was fresh and perfectly cooked. The peppercorn sauce wasn't as expected, it was tasty but lacked the peppercorn experience for me. Overall nice business lunch experience.

Organised a birthday dinner to be held here, service was absolutely spot on (they even put gifted flowers in a wine cooler for us). Nibbles/starters and all mains came together and lovely pictures were taken by the staff. In terms of the food, it was all mostly as expected/described in the menu, perhaps apart from the chocolate-pistachio soufflé, which had an unexpectedly far too almondy taste for one of our party. Nevertheless, a great evening was had overall.

My second visit to BB Threadneedle Street. This time was much busier, but that didn’t affect service. My colleague who had never been before loved the food as did I. Highly recommended

I love BB Threadneedle Street. Great food, atmosphere and drinks. You’ll never be moved on after 1.5 hours as in so many places. I’m vegan and choices are superb. Keep up the good work.

Breakfast for 2. Coffee, green tea, Smashed avocado on toast with poached eggs (£8.95 - well presented and tasty), GF toast with mushrooms and poached eggs (£9.40 - very tasty) - total inc tip £33.86. Very good service (Laszlo I think), a very nice room and perfect for a business meeting. Will definitely return, exceeded expectations and good value for the area.

Visited with my friends a few weeks ago. We’ve been there before and had the same food. We were looking forward to duck confit which wasn’t as expected this time. The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered us to choose another dish from the menu which was delicious. They also offered to bring the main meal for our vegetarian friend at the same time with ours, which was really nice of them. Dessert and wine were great too. We will visit again.

We had an excellent lunch, meeting up of old friends, sorry we didn't drink anything but had very good tea after our meal. Gold star for not having loud thumping music which I hate! Very good selection to choose from, difficult to decide as everything sounded delicious. Will definitely go again.

The steak for 2 with complementary wine is a great deal!! perfectly done steak, tasty wine and awesome pistachio soufflé. It’s a quiet place, especially on a friday afternoon which makes for a lovely romantic dinner

What has happened to Brasserie Blanc? I went to this place several times over the years and was quite happy so far with the place: very decent food albeit a tad expensive as is expected in the heart of the City. I went back with colleagues today and was thoroughly disappointed: apart from the starter which was quite good, the main was barely average and the dessert such a complete disaster that I had to actually complain about it to the waiter and his boss. If this is what Brasserie Blanc has become, then it's clearly not worth the money any longer and you can find much better for this price range in the City!

This is the second time in a month visiting this particular Brasserie Blanc and it’s outstanding in all aspects. From the welcome greeting when you arrive to the friendliness of all the staff and of course the delicious food, it really is an excellent choice if you are hosting clients for lunch. I’ve been to a number of Brasserie Blancs and I have to say this is my favourite one. The ambience, decor and atmosphere makes it an excellent place to take clients as it’s easy to chat and hear each other which can often be difficult in other places I’ve been to before at lunchtime. The menu has something for everyone and the staff are incredibly knowledgable should you have any questions and work really hard to ensure every table has what they need. I will definitely be back again soon.

An outstanding brasserie is the heart of the city. I made a good choice when it came to the pork chop which not only was succulent but a large plate. I would highly recommend this restaurant which also has a good vibe.

My friends ordered the duck confit, and I opted for the spring vegetable risotto. Unfortunately, my friends found that the duck was not properly "confit" and was actually under cooked. When we brought this to the manager's attention, he very kindly allowed them to select an alternative dish. He even took my dish and offered to bring me a fresh risotto so I could enjoy my main course alongside my friends. As a gesture of goodwill and to compensate us for the inconvenience, our main courses and the bottle of wine were complimentary, which was extremely generous. Outstanding service!

Always an excellent meal here and the service is fantastic. My favourite brasserie blanc.

Decent enough but too expensive. Nothing particularly special, just competent and relaxed. Had trout which was fine, my friends all had steaks. My side salad of mixed leaves was inedible- multiple leaves slimy and off. It's risky to eat when they're like that (can cause food poisoning) and they shouldn't have been served, they were not fresh at all. No one asked why the salad was barely touched when the plates were cleared. Desserts felt like such poor value, three tiny scoops of ice cream (£6.75) and a small portion of Basque cheesecake with 4 raspberries (£10!). The ambiance is great and the staff were all really friendly.

Great dinner after work with colleagues. Had the duck which was great. Food made even more reasonable by getting a voucher online. Atmosphere is business with this being in City location. Would recommend and definitely go there again.

I visited the Threadneedle Street restaurant with friends, and we had a fantastic time. The service was great, the food was delicious and excellent value for money. The menu had a good selection to choose from including the wine list. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our visit a very relaxing and enjoyable one.

Had a really great experience here for Valentine’s this year. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating of my allergies. My husband and I really enjoyed the food and would definitely return. I also liked the little touch of giving out heart-shaped chocolates at the end of our meal.

Popular and vibey City restaurant, and if you sign up, they have regular offers / discounts which make for reasonable value. Good desserts. Busy and loud though, especially if one wears hearing aids which my friend does not, and we both found it very loud. So more social rather than for quiet business lunches.

Staff are lovely and attentive. The food was tasty and as brasserie fare should be I suppose. Plump mussels and the main of stone bass, delicious. The highlight was the pistachio souffle for dessert. Just beautiful. Picture doesn't do the justice. Merci a tous at the Blanc Brasserie.

I liked the restaurant and would probably come back. I would rate it 3.5 but only because I did not like my dessert and felt l was mis-sold. I spent about 55ish for 3 courses and a small glass of wine. I had the cheese soufflé and the gnocchi main. I liked both. For dessert I had the pistachio soufflé but although it looked spectacular I was very disappointed it tasted like almond. Had it said almond soufflé I would have got something else. Quite often is the case some places substitute pistachio for almonds. I tried my friends stocky tof and thought that was good.

PAN-FRIED GNOCCHI was very good, the only Vegetarian food I liked. They can add few more vegetarian options like pastas etc. instead of HARISSA AUBERGINE which was not good!!

I’ve been to BB few times before (prior to pandemic) and it seemed a reasonable choice for a Friday lunch. What a mistake it was! The food was mediocre (at best) - bone dry burger and uncooked looking tiny portion of gnocchi. The waiter showed in every possible way that he was doing us a favour to serve. He clearly did not have either any training in hospitality or any wish to behave even remotely friendly. I could not finish lunch quick enough to leave this Grinch place and never come back. There are tons of better places to have lunch in the City where you’d actually feel welcomed.

Large restaurant but nicely presented and good service with quality food

We came for our Christmas work dinner. The food was really good, I had the pheasant which was a bit dry but the meal was really well put together, and the gnocchi was out of this world! Best Xmas dinner I've ever had, as there were lots of people there that night having their work dinners and normally that affects the quality of the food but it was still very good. The only downside was that it was extremely noisy and as such you couldn't really speak to anyone at all because you could hardly hear anything.

I visited Brasserie Blanc-Threadneedle Street with my parents for my 15th birthday and had an amazing night. The food was delicious and the service was incredible, especially Elin, our wonderful waitress who really made the night. To start, we had 2 of the Escargots and 1 Mediterranean Fish Soup. The snails were the best we’ve ever had (better than in France!) and the soup was so flavourful. For mains, we chose the 8oz Sirloin with Fries and Peppercorn Sauce, Pan-fried Stone Bass, and Chalkstream Trout. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and the fries were so good. The fishes were so beautiful and the sauces were so delicately crafted and really made the dishes. For dessert, we had the Cheese Selection, Pistachio Souffle, and Chocolate Orange Delice, which our waitress, Elin, so kindly lit a candle on and sung happy birthday. Thank you so much to all the staff and especially Elin for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend Brasserie Blanc and will definitely be coming back!

Brasserie Blanc is a great place to get good food and drink. The waiters are very attentive and make you always appreciated. The quality of the food is very good and the drinks list is having something for everyone. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service

An impromptu dining experience. Dont really know much about Mr Blanc but always open to learning more. Decor in the restaurant is simple but classy. Service was really good. We went for a ham starter which was a bit too tartare for us lol. I made the mistake in getting a burger at a restaurant like this, i should have tried the fish. The burger was too dry unfortunately. The desserts however were really good. The souffle was really fluffy. Probably need to go back to explore more of the menu.

We used 25% off code but have eaten in another branch before and it’s lovely food. We had an a late lunch and was quiet on a Friday lunchtime. Attentive service , great choice of food and nice wine perfect. Will use the restaurant again in the future or the south bank one we’ve been to before

Good place for a business lunch

It was a really pleasant meal, the Trout was really good, a little minus for the waiter who either did not have a good day or was just a bit unpleasant. Besides that a good place to meet up the gang.

Reliably excellent standard of food from a delightful menu that changes with the seasons but always has some fantastic dishes, notably the pistachio souffle which is hard to beat. Consistently good and for The City reasonably priced with good service and pleasant staff.
