I visited here Saturday 31st August, I asked a lady called Agata who worked there a couple of questions about the cask beers and the menu, What an absolutely delightful lady , very knowledgeable ,polite and charming. An asset to your Company.

Food so good it made me change my opinion on British cuisine

Great location being very near to Oxford Circus with nice food. The only downside I would happen to say is the range of beers they have on taps behind the bar.

You know, not the 1st time here and surely not the last... The place is nice, the food is fantastic, and the service is amazing. Here's one of the few places we could find still ciders with different flavours, not to mention the pulled beef croquettes and outstanding beef and raclette pie with merlot beef dripping and gravy.

Great central London bar, especially when the weather is good.

Pint after work either inside or out with an upstairs bar too. Hard to fault. Gets super busy of the sun shines (so occasionally in London!)

Lovely traditional pub in a great location

I had the pea and mint soup with ciabatta bread, which was very tasty. The fish and chips were also very good. The service was very friendly and polite. The Old Mount Cider in Pineapple & Raspberry was nice and refreshing and fruity, just as I had hoped. The beer is also good. The ambience was also nice. The volume of the background music was pleasant, making it easy to have a conversation.

Lovely food, great beer and a wonderful atmosphere. The staff and landlord truly excellent. A fabulous watering hole just a few yards off the beaten track of London bustle.

This is our go to bar when we visit London for a spot of shopping and require a half time break. Considering its location, it’s really fairly priced. Not eaten in here myself, but they serve food and what came out looked really good. Really well maintained and clean with loads of wood panelling which give it a “proper”old tavern feel. We’re a family of 5 so it can be a struggle to find somewhere to sit if it’s busy, as the downstairs is small but I think there’s an upstairs dining area too? I could be wrong. As it’s a small pub, the toilets are also a bit of a squeeze. Will bisit again on our next shopping trip.

A great place to relax and enjoy a drink and a meal with your family.

We wanted somewhere close to the Palladium for a pre theatre meal but also somewhere quieter than the many ram packed places near the venue. First impressions on a sunny Friday teatime were potential dismay with the pub front thronged with drinkers. This however turned to pleasant surprise as we were shown upstairs to the relatively empty dining room. From that point, can’t fault anything. Service was fast, drinks great (lovely pint of Abbot) and the food followed quickly and was just what we wanted. The team seemed stretched but still managed to give excellent service. When we left the throng had become a huge crowd spreading all over the nearby pavements. The Masons Arms is obviously doing something right.

2nd time visiting . Unbelievable steak , great portion size and cooked perfectly . Very good value for money and attentive and approachable staff.

Lovely pub, had a nice pint of plum porter, and listened to their eclectic taste in music. Can't imagine any other pub in the world that would play the theme from the Flashing Blade closely followed by Curtis Mayfield

Cozy little pub in the more peaceful lanes of Oxford circus. Only had a drink and some fried but the server was super nice!

For Every trip in London with my daughter we are used to have at least one lunch at the masons (downstairs). We really like this pub. The boss is very cool and nice.

What a wonderful night! Beautiful pub with great service and delicious food. Fried haloumi and fish and chips are exceptional. The publicans stopped for a chat and are wonderful people. Highly highly recommend.

Really lovely, small pub. We visited on a Sunday lunchtime and it was reasonably busy, but we got a table without booking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The burger and pie were excellent and the chips and gravy were absolutely phenomenal! So good to have real gravy, not from a packet! We will definitely be back!

We went there on a Friday night and had visitors from out of town. It's just a touristy spot. The upstairs is actually nicer and quiet. The menu was very limited. They didn't have anything we wanted to order (half the menu is run out), and the food was so and so. Good Guinness, though but overall nothing special.

Really don't know where to start. What a friendly boozer. The staff were so welcoming and very helpful. It's not often you go to a busy bar and have such professionalism with who's been served next and even tenner what your drinks was. The locals were also welcoming too. Definitely be going back

Best of British! Home from home. Superb welcome and great food and drink choice. Never disappointed here. From the first friendly smile from behind the bar to the last of the crumbs from the plate. Our go to pub whenever we are in London great value for money in the heart of Mayfair, perfect stop off if your shopping or sight seeing and close to theatres too! Decent pub in Central London, close to Oxford circus and regent Street. Good selection of drinks. Does get busy in the evenings.

Typical pub with superb frontage and interior decoration, real London charm. The food is very good.

Nipped in for a pint as the pub look a bit qwerky, which it is. Lovely little pub, really nice and welcoming. We only went in for drinks, but if we are ever back in the area, we will defo have food as it looks so tasty.

Straightforward Greene King pub

The most Christmassy pub in London! We had a table booked upstairs which was just lovely. Very relaxing, great service, nothing too much trouble. We then went downstairs, Maddy (duty manager) was awesome, table was cleaned, again nothing too much trouble, great music. We all love this pub!

Extremely delicious steak and ale pie... My friend chose macaroni and cheese and said it was the best she tried ever. Given the location it's very very reasonably priced

We had a successful drinks event for 40 business clients the upstairs space at the beginning of November 2023, and fully recommend it to anyone looking to host an informal evening for friends or business contacts. We have already booked it again for our next event. Reserving the space and pre-ordering the food and drinks was a breeze due to the the friendly and efficient manager, David, who was also a fun and charming bartender on the night, providing excellent service. The upstairs space is spacious, cosy, clean and has it's own bar.

Pre Palladium dinner and drinks much better than the green king pub nearer to the theatre go here instead

Hi David, we found it really loud with people shouting at each other 😔 I worked over the road 26 years ago and we spent a lot of time in the pub but it was a different era where people talked rather than shouted to each other. Sign of the times rather than a reflection on the pub 😉 We will return, I'm sure 😁

Schöner Pub, gut besucht. Haben gerade noch einen Platz bekommen. Fish and Chips (2000 kcal, reicht also eine Portion für 2 :D) war sehr lecker. Sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Bier.

The pub is infested with insects all over the ceiling and walls, not the nicest place to eat or drink.

Only stopped here for a pint as it looked so gorgeous from the outside. Staff very friendly, the perfect British pub, very cosy. Could have stayed here all day and will be back!

Popped in for a quick lunch after viewing the Freddie Mercury exhibition at Sothebys and was not disappointed! Lovely little place and great food.

Busy Mayfair pub with a good selection of beers

We only went in for a drink and to get shelter from the horrible weather, but have to say, what a lovely pub. Nice and relaxed , chilled atmosphere . BUT what has made me write this review. Once I had left the pub, I was about 100 yards away and heard a man shouting, so turned around, and the employee from the pub (A Geordie) was waving in the air, my wallet. I had left it in the pub and this chap had spotted this and straight away came after me. Top fella, thank you!

Lovely GK pub tucked away from the wealthy shoppers of New Bond St. Great service and a relaxed vibe. Fairly dull selection of beers, but worth popping in for a small dose of sanity in this crazy corner of the capital.

Came across the Masons arms taking a short cut off regents street , what a find it was , Fantastic selection of beers & spirits , great banter with the bar staff & the pie and mash was to die for , we spent a little longer than expected in there due to the hospitality, will be taking a short cut again when down in the capital

Always amazing - starting from the kind, welcoming service of Dave and the team. A pub at the heart of the community, with tailors and white collar workers intermingling with tourists and day-trippers. Food is great; friends swear by the fish and chips whereas I cannot resist the delicious pies. Beer has never been anything but exceptional, likewise the wines and occasional Scotch. I have been frequenting the place for over a decade and only ever been well looked after. Gets busy at times - as is so popular with many returning clients. Loved by those in the local community - great function room: a go-to destination for many associates and dear friends.

Fabulous food, every visit; brilliant beer and superb service. Retirements, celebrations and general after-work beers - often busy (as it is so good) but well deserving of its cherished reputation.

When you find a city centre pub with excellent food and friendly staff you hesitate to review for fear of making it more popular. But public recognition should outweigh selfishness. Even though we only had a few items off the starters for a mid retail trip to keep us going, the sense of this is tasty and not overpriced was very welcome in a city that is not cheap.

Great location and decent atmosphere, but when the outside menu offers an "Award winning steak and ale pie" it needs to actually provide one. Starving, at about 1300 hours, I ordered a pint and the said pie with mash and vegetable. What a disappointment! The mash was fine (how hard is that?) but the vegetable consisted of a couple of very thin slices of cabbage. The pie was about 80% thick pastry with 15% gravy. The steak was mostly fat and only four tiny pieces of it. Taste-wise it was very good (not the meat), especially the gravy and what there was of the cabbage and potato. Shame about the pie: they SHOULD be ashamed.
