Great team, very friendly and inviting.

We ordered a glass of champagne. What they brought us was a mix of 10% champagne and 90% prosecco. They even were so careless to let us see that. When we told them that we‘ve seen what they did we got the champagne. Nice try.

Our go to coffee shop when we come up to London. The staff are friendly, the coffee is lovely and it is an absolutely beautiful location in the back streets. Can't recommend this place enough!

A lovely place but the service could be improved. It felt like the staff was eyeing me constantly to order the next round or maybe leave? Not sure what was going on but made me very uncomfortable for the constant stare of someone standing just next to my table.

The wine was okay, average. The cider was the worst tasting cider I have EVER tasted in my life.

We just popped into the cafe for a glass of wine while shopping. Cute place with a great atmosphere. Service was friendly and well informed on the wine list. Toilets were clean which says a lot in a high volume area. No stars on food as we didn’t eat. ☺️

Went here for a coffee with a colleague whilst on our way to a meeting. A nice spot especially on a nice day like the day we went. The coffee was excellent and there were lots of really nice looking pastries and cakes that nearly tempted me. The staff were friendly and helpful too.

Visited a few months ago for wine and food. There were many wine options and the one recommended was delicious. The food was also tasty and pleasant. The atmosphere friendly and vibrant. I will visit again

Lovely oasis of calm and cosiness a stones throw from Bond Street tube station. Tables are not ridiculously crammed in so feels very relaxed. Wines by the glass were delicious and the charcuterie plate very tasty. Friendly service, great atmosphere.

Couldn't wait to try the terrine, it's delicious. Nice treat, with an old fashioned to sip. Lovely place to sit, chill and take in the music and ambiance. Emma served me and was really quick and good at helping me without being intrusive, she did not interrupt my phone call and was understanding about it. Service here is personable, and the decor is cool, especially the light that shines through the massive windows.

Lovely place. Nice music, cool interior. For my breakfast I enjoyed a special chocolate frappé and it was great way to start the day. The selection of wine is a great reason to come back soon. Friendly and very welcoming service.

Fast coffee, ok price. Super squeeze. Really lively.

It’s a gorgeous place both outside and inside! The coffee tastes good and the sandwiches are good too. I sat and ate while watching the rain falling outside the window, and the atmosphere was so nice!

Quiet and cosy wine bar in the heart of Mayfair. Have been on multiple occasions and the service is exemplary. Great selection of both wine and food. Also kudos to Malachy for his constant attentiveness to customers.

Usually good service ! Not today

We were turned away very rudely at 5pm because we had two kids with us. The staff at the register was getting us a table when the manager interrupted and said they don't prefer kids after 'a certain hour'. Clearly there's no real policy, but he just did not want us as guests. The way he handled us felt very uncomfortable. I would avoid this place if you like the friendly London service found everywhere else around the city. There are many nice and fancier places around the city that do welcome families.

I didn't drink so I can't rate that, but the tuna melt was delicious. The service was good and I loved the calm atmosphere of the cafe

The team here is wonderful! So is the food. Plants (vegan restaurant next door) refused to serve us because one of my friends had a nut allergy. We were a large group and it was my birthday. We went next door and the team at Comptoir were so kind. On incredibly short notice they found a table for all of us and we had delicious cheese toasties. The night would have been a disaster without them. Thank you!

Hosted a party here for friends. Nafsikā was amazing at organising and providing us the best, most delicious wines and cheese pairing for the evening. All my friends enjoyed the ambiance, service and drink. Highly recommend and definitely looking forward to returning!

Met for a social after work with our SWIMCLUB in Mayfair and had such a good time - atmosphere was fabulous!! The food we had was great and the service was above and beyond. All the staff were very friendly which made our experience even better

지나가다 분위기 좋아보여서 예약하고 기대에 차서 친구들 데려갔는데 £70파운드 이상을 지출하였으나 매우 실망하였다. 우선, 예약했는데 테이블이 세팅되어 있지 않았고 주문한 음식과 다른 음식이 나왔다. 우리는 치즈에 박식하지는 않아서 Mont d'or 치즈가 궁금하여 주문하였으나 알고보니 Morbier를 먹었다는 사실을 나중에 검색해보고 알게되었다. 분위기는 좋았으나 서비스에 매우 실망하였고, 같이간 친구들에게 미안하였다. 아쉽게도 재방문 의사는 없다.

Brought my mum here to treat her to a nice lunch with wine and cheese. The product was brilliant couldn't fault the cheese or the wine, but the service was non existence. The waiter got out order wrong and the interaction was questionable. We paid and headed on our way. I really think it is worth it to you to have better staff training as you have a good product to sell. Will not be returning unfortunately.

I used to come to Comptoir Cafe and Wine weekly. It is a wonderful hidden spot behind the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street and Bond Street, with a beautiful wine selection and light bites, however, since the team have changed, the service does not make me want to come back, even more so, after my latest experience. We sat outside and had to work really hard to get the waiters attention. Please note, they weren't extremely busy, they didn't have every table filled. Once we managed to order, the waiter returned to the table after 10 plus minutes and asked for our order again. We simply ordered for two glasses of red. Our friend later came to join us and again had to work really hard to grasp anyone's attention. We weren't checked on, nor asked if we would like anything else to drink or a bite to eat. We then also had to get up to settle our bill. So, I reasonably asked for service charge to be removed to the shock of the team member. When asked why, I simply stated there was no service; instead of apologising for the bad experience, I got given a dirty look. I bade the waiter farewell and wished them a good night. He didn't speak to me or even look at me. It is sad and safe to say I will not be returning here. A place I used to love visiting, has lost its luxury by a poor team and poor management.

Very warm team, except for a staff member (Martin?) who snapped at my friend for asking whether they served coffee, responding, "it's a wine bar", even though it says cafe on their exterior. We had a nice experience up til this point, there are ways to relay information kindly.

Superb place to taste wonderful wines and tapas. Martin and his team welcomed us with enthusiasm and professionalism. Their tapas go very well with a Dr.Mayer Pinot noir 2019 red wine. I recommend this place.

This is a great place to spend an evening drinking from their extensive wine list and snacking away. Nice to see a wine list that contains decent UK options too! It's not the biggest bar so worth reserving if you're a large group. Looks like they have some outdoor seating too. Friendly staff and nice soundtrack

Friendly attentive staff, good bar food including a very tasty Ham, Cheese, Gherkin with mild mustard Toastie, a favourite amongst those locals in the know.

A beautiful, cosy place in a quiet corner, just a few steps away from a very busy London street. The manager was a very charming young man, who was kind enough to show me around the beautiful wine cellar. On the walls there were pictures of some of my favourite Hollywood movie stars (Monroe, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, etc), which added a nice touch to the tasting room. The wine selection can be expressed by only one word: breathtaking. I will definitely return here whenever I am in London.

Great place, nice and quiet yet close to the buzzing shopping streets. I had a mocha (which was perfect) and an Aperol Spritz which tasted better than any I’ve had in Venice (I’m Italian). Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Unexpected surprised by how amazing the coffee was there, we popped in for a bite to eat and a mocha, and hands down the best mocha I have ever had!! The lovely woman serving us even took the time to give me some tips on how to improve my coffee making skills with my coffee machine at home. Will definitely return when I venture back into London.
