We visited to celebrate a birthday . It was very busy at lunchtime but we had very good service . The staff were not hurried and we felt we got personal service .i have lived near here for over a dozen years and never had bad service or food I would recommend eating here Large car park with outdoor/covered eating should you choose We would definately be coming back for special lifetime events

Been coming here for years but have noticed a steady decline in quality of food, speed of service, menu diversity (specials etc). The most recent visit however was worst of all. Kitchen closed at 7:40pm. Yep. Pub which has, to all intents and purposes, been turned into a restaurant; effectively closes two hours early. Must have been an easy shift to work but you have to wonder how many empty evenings this business can support. If you're making enough turnover on the lunchtime trade, just say and change your hours. This place really wasted my time but somehow made me feel like I was wasting theirs. Oh and please don’t respond with a patronising and generic reply. Instead have a check of the till and wonder why there were no food covers Sunday evening.

We have always had a great experience at this pub and the food is always excellent but I can honestly say that I will not be returning after our last visit. The young lady who seemed to be in charge gave us the impression that customers were an inconvenience, I didn’t see her smile once and she was clearly not handling the pressure of a busy service very well. It is such a shame as It was also very clear that her lack of enthusiasm for the job had rubbed off on the young team.

Really poor service, extremely slow. Meals arrived at seperate times, then our little ones ice cream took ages to come however 3 members of staff were stood chatting at the tills. Bill came to over £100, which I thought was extremely poor considering the service was diabolical and the food was basic food pub. Won’t be returning ever again. Save yourself the hassle and avoid.

Popped in for some food after a day at Chessington. Having the play area was a bonus to keep our 6 year old entertained, and lovely being able to sit out in the garden so we could keep an eye on him. Son had the kids pizza which he devoured. Husband and I had the sharing platter which was pretty good and just the right amount as a light snack each. Was very busy so would suggest booking.

Fantastic food and service . Little touches make a big difference. Like a strawberry in your fruit cider , a mint after lunch . Very relaxing atmosphere. Staff very efficient and friendly . Highly recommend the Burgers

Not high expectations as booked for convenience due to distance to meet up, pleasantly surprised, friendly welcome accomdating, speedy attentive service from well trained staff, food not too bad either and reasonably priced, nothing to pick up on here good experience

There was a new manager (French?) on the night we visited, and she made all the difference. Great service when service has been something we’ve struggled with at The Star in the past. Food was average pub food and bill was over £100 for three of us so I wasn’t overwhelmed. Better than previous visits though mainly down to the improved service.

Lunch time not busy , Ordered two starters together , Only one came , waitress had even come over to make sure we got what we ordered as she couldn’t read her own writing , very chaotic no one served together , soup came way after other meals, quite dissapointing,

Excellent, meaty venison suet pud... Much above usual fare (perhaps addition of extra spice - juniper berry? May raise it further?). My companions (veggies) v pleased with the catsup offering. V Good Malbec.

Took Mum here on the Saturday as she does not like crowded spaces that you often see on the Sunday. I have to say we were treated exceptionally well, especially by Maria. A lovely table by the window. Prompt and efficient service. Food was simply excellent. No problem at all to bag up Mums leftover chips for her to heat up later. I've been here a few times and always been happy but this was by far the best meal I've had for some time.

We popped in for lunch for the first time in a while. It was as busy as ever and whilst the team were clearly working flat out the service was excellent. All the food that we had was cooked to perfection. I'd like to single out our server Michelle. She was simply fantastic and so attentive. We couldn't have asked for better.

As ever the Staff at the Star were brilliant prompt Polite and efficient, I must especially thank Maria who looked after us through the whole evening and food was as we have come to expect superb

Having not been for some time, I was very pleased with the food and service at The Star. Having had some issues before Covid our meal today was very good. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our food was very well presented and very tasty.

Food was nice when it came but it was very slow was told the chef was having a bit or a mare in the kitchen i did offer to go in and help but that got frowned apon we were offered are drinks taken off the meal cos of the delay but nothing had happened

14 of us booked to have a Sunday lunch at the Star. We visit many pubs and restaurants with our bike club and have high standards. We had to wait a while as they were very busy but Maria kept us updated. Next time we know that we must book in advance to reduce waiting times. The pub was clean and welcoming and the food was good quality (could have been a bit hotter) Maria provided excellent service and should be commended. I will return on a less busy day to sample some more of the very good menu.

I have been a regular customer and when my previous experiences have been good, this time was very disappointing. I always have the risotto for lunch but on this occasion, it was lukewarm, soggy and the risotto was "swimming" in oil. I mentioned it to a member of staff who's reply was "this is how the risotto is cooked every time", This member of staff was so rude the way she approached the problem and her attitude wasn't acceptable towards a returning customer. She offered me to choose an alternative but I declined as there was nothing else I wanted to eat. Last time, the risotto was delicious and very hot, nothing like it was last week. And the other member of staff were all lovely, friendly and apologetic. This one member of staff just had a very rude and unpleasant attitude towards me. I will now think twice about returning in the near future. An unhappy customer

14 of us, most had the Sunday Roast. I had the turkey and it was delicious. Nice bowl of extra veg to share too. The young lad that looked after us very efficient. Also young man who did our drinks order good too. Would highly recommend. Thankyou 😋

Awful service. Rude staff made us feel uncomfortable. First time here and will not be returning. Steak I ordered was under cooked.

12 of us ate here and often in a group the service is poor and the food mediocre. However it was lovely. We had the set Christmas menu and it was all yummy.

I submitted an adverse review of a visit on the 19 November and it has not been published. I can only assume that adverse reviews are not always published? First of all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Secondly the food was good. We have been here a few times. The starters arrived quickly. HOWEVER the mains took ages to arrive which was just not acceptable. The waitress apologised three times for the delay. As a consequence most of our party had to leave with no sweets as they had to get back Lowestoft. It severely spoilt our enjoyment. We were celebrating three birthdays. We will not be in a hurry to return. It seems on the face of you are taking too many bookings which you cannot adequately service. Smacks of greed pure and simple.

We visited today for a birthday lunch. The service was so good! We had 2 dogs and 3 babies and everyone showed up and ordered at different times which must have been annoying but the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Especially the young man on the front desk (didn’t catch his name) the food was also very nice and good portion sizes. Would highly recommend.

Passed this pub several times when going to Twickenham for rugby so we decided to try it out yesterday (18th). Didn’t pre book and managed to get a table when we arrived around 2pm ish. Food was really nice plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. Reasonably priced. Service was excellent wasn’t rushed at all. Will definitely return when back in the area I had the pig and cheese burger and biscoff cheesecake.

We’d been to Chessington for the day & didn’t think to book anywhere for dinner, we tried another pub down the road, to be served a drink then told about 70% of the menu was off. With a 5 year old this put a bit of a downer on our night & had to find somewhere else to eat at 8pm! We came to the star and the staff all seemed so welcoming, so happy, so friendly! The food was AMAZING, atmosphere was great, my 5 year old was well entertained - it made our night! Thank you so much, we’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Chessington!

Oh dear - so unhelpful. We would have liked to dine - and were a large family trying to arrange a multi generational lunch, but despite offering to break up the family into two smaller groups and pre-ordering, and coming at 12:00 for a Sunday lunch in January, at every occasion, the unhelpful Debbie, put obstacles in the way, (can't gtee to put you in the same area, you must be out in 2 1/2 hours) culminating in a "I've told you no before". Message received. A place for us to avoid. Shame.

We were there last night with a party of 20+ for a friends and family celebration. The food was excellent; beautifully presented, hot, and care taken over each individual dish. Service was excellent; waiting service at table, clearing, order taking, every guest an individual. Thank you staff at the Star xx

Michelle and Maria were the perfect hosts for a fabulous rib-fuelled, Aspalls sesh. Super-friendly and accommodating.

Over many years we have enjoyed many appetizing meals (and reported that online) at The Star but that all changed on Monday 30th October. Perhaps we were just tired and hungry but the atmosphere was different and we did not feel very welcome, was the service really as slow as it seemed? My wife's Vegan meal was warm but not as hot as it could have been but it was my Scampi that was the real problem. Had it been sitting under a warmer for too long because the outside was hard and the actual fish seemed under cooked. I tried to eat as much as I could but I had to leave it - and the peas were not as warm as they should have been. I complained and let me make it clear - my meal was taken off the bill and I received an apology. But the damage had been done and I was still hungry. Not a good experience, we were disappointed.

This is a lovely pub. Great variety of food on offer. The drinks are sublime as well. I recommend this pub. You must try the puddings and sip a glass of white wine. The atmosphere is great as well.

I have been coming here for the past 35 years, and it never disappoints. Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, delicious food. 3 of us came last night, and we got the last 3 salmon en croutes! Well tasty! 😋

Staff were charming and attentive. Resaurant was very busy and service was pretty good overall. Unfortunately, our meals were very dissapointing. Ribs were 'fatty' and sauce was far too sweet. Chips were tasteless and not freshly cooked. Burger was very dry. Sadly we won't be back.

We booked a table for Valentine's day at 17:45. The pub was empty. They forgot to clear the table and left us with our starters for 1 hour.The main dish arrived at 19:15. Out of order.I don't think they realised as the waitress didn't even apologise for the wait.The food quality is not too bad but definitely too expensive for the whole experience.

Impromptu meal out on a Wednesday evening, great food and Nick our waiter offered excellent service. Friendly and knowledgeable without being overbearing, would recommend this pub/ restaurant to anyone.

A first time visit for us, online booking system was an breeze, was greated shown to our table with a warm and friendly greeting .Staff at first where attentive help with food choices and recommendations,our food was excellent very well presented, tasty and served in good time.Drinks selection was very good and again a faultless experience. Upon finishing our meal was offered a dessert menu that was the last we saw any member if staff for over 20 minutes, 7 tables was still in restaurant at the.Went to the bar and asked for our bill, no desserts after dinner drinks or coffees.

Another fantastic evening at The Star for a family birthday celebration . Service was faultless and the food was all beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious, thankyou to all the staff for a wonderful evening

Not been here for ages. Welcoming hello from staff. Very wide range on the menu. I am vegetarian and there was so much to choose from. Cheesy Bites were delicious. Decorations for Xmas are lovely too. Will return.

Had lunch with 2 friends here and I was very impressed with the really excellent service we received. Often small detail/requests are forgotten about but not here.Food was very good and piping hot. There is a separate vegetarian/vegan menu which was perfect for us. Good choice of hot and cold desserts. 3 mains,2 desserts and 4 drinks was £67 which was very good value compared to a dreadful meal I had recently in the Restaurant in Wisley Gardens

Probably the best Sunday roast I’ve had in the area. Good for families, though a touch loud on Sundays when packed but no big deal. Great value too.

We had Christmas Day lunch at The Star and were very impressed. Staff were lovely and attentive, food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We will definitely return for another Christmas lunch in the future!

Five friends and I had lunch at The Star today. We really enjoyed our lunch and were impressed with the quality of the food. Four of us had roasts that were really good with tasty roast turkey or beef and lovely crispy potatoes and parsnips. Yummy Yorkshire puds. The side vegetables were all perfectly cooked as well. One of our group had special dietary requirements and I was impressed with how much care our waitress took making sure he had what he needed. The wait staff were all very friendly and helpful.We will definitely be returning.

This was the first time we have visited the Star since lockdown and we were not disappointed. It was nice to be greeted by the same staff members that we had seen before on previous visits. The food was as expected with my wife having the Chicken and Leek pie with myself having my usual Cajan Chicken and Ribs.We will look forward to a repeat visit in the near future

Had booked a specific table a week before, but when we got there that table was not available. When asked why they said there was no note along side my booking! That’s why I gave it 4 stars.We had been there 4 weeks ago and the food wasn’t very good. But this time we enjoyed the food & the young lady who served us was very efficient. The staff were great and really went out of their way to accommodate us (group of 8 plus a toddler) at last minute despite being busy. It must be very popular. They were really friendly and offered good advice for selecting from the menu. The food was lovely and also very generous portions. It’s was also great value. My partner was delighted to find Asahi on draught! Shame we don’t live closer, there’s more on the menu I’d like to try.

Self proclaiming the level of excellence in the name of the pub is bold, but on point. For this gem of an establishment that sits on the London / Surrey border.Sitting amongst stunning woodland, that is divided by the main road.On a Sunday, walkers would be well rewarded with a delightful roast.The menu selection caters for those that require Gluten Free, Vegan, Veggie or Meat.The drinks menu is comprehensive, on this visit I had the Vegan Tempeh Katsu Curry, which was flavoursome, elegant and devine.The staff are welcoming, friendly, helpful and if you are really lucky songful.The back garden is spacious and glorious to sit in on a sunny day. I would highly recommend The Star, whether as a pit stop, a meeting point or for a special occasion.

Large family get together. We prebooked and pre ordered dinner as requested. The greeting wasn’t the greatest polite, but when pointed out we were a seat short not an apology but a question had we booked and ordered not the friendliest encounter. Most had ordered the Sunday roast. My mum would have said the beef could be used to sole our shoes it was tough. Not particularly warm luckily the plates were hot. Watery cauliflower cheese in a separate pot? Will say really lovely parsnip , good Yorkshire and stuffing(an extra and pigs in blankets also an extra). Lack of gravy the veg was good but not a lot. Children in the group served their coke in a wine type glass. Really how stupid. We didn’t stay for pudding. Paid 10%service charge already added. It was just Ok

Came here a couple of times last year and had been impressed.My local pub in Long Ditton was shut for a wedding reception so decided to return here.Very nice young staff, inside it was very pleasantly busy with a good atmosphere..Drinks had only, but a pleasant evening.

I went to the Star on a Friday with friends for dinner and we had a brilliant time. The food is good, especially the starters and we sat outside in one of the covered booths. The service was brilliant, especially Sara who was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We went to the star for dinner with friends and family on Friday 3rd Sept and sat outside in the huge garden in one of the garden huts. The food was delicious (highly recommend the lollipop prawns and ribs!) and our waitress Sara was absolutely fantastic! She was so attentive and friendly and really made our visit! We will definitely be back!

Discovered this lovely country pub on our return back from Chessington World of Adventures and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and attentative staff. The children had the chicken katsu curry, perfectly cooked and well presented - empty plates. I had the chicken ceaser which by far was the best I had tasted. Also a great selection of drugs including homemade milkshakes for the kids. Give this place a try, Michelin star for sure. Well done to team star , Grace and Nelio front of house made us very welcome.

We’ve come here as a group of work friends a few times now for a cheeky drink or bite to eat after work. It’s a really nice pub, the staff are lovely, great outdoor spaces (both in front and behind) and the food is really nice. Would highly recommend the mocktails. Bring cash for tips if you can!

My colleagues and I came here for much today for the first time in over 18 months. We had prebooked and just as well as the pub was full. I ordered the Mushroom Wellington which was disappointing and lacked seasoning, as did the accompanying vegetables. I hope our next visit is better food-wise.

I consider the Star to be a good pub. The staff are welcoming and the whole environment is friendly. We had been walking in Ashtead Woods - it is well placed for a pint and lunch. It is spacious and COVID precautions are well managed. It is very clean and tables quite well spaced. The menu is ‘pub grub’ but it is well cooked and presented. My wife had home cooked ham, egg and chips and I had fish and chips - both were very good. They have a good range of ales. The staff are undoubtedly an asset.

This place is best avoided.Wasn’t aware it was a chain as we wouldn’t have visited. Standard barely edible pub grub. Very pricey for what it is as well. There’s a beefeater up the road go there instead. This meat look quirky and different from outside.It isn’t.

My wife and I went for lunch at The Star for the first time today. The weather was “iffy” at best and we were offered a table either inside or outside by a delightful host, we chose a garden cabin that was great! The food was excellent especially the prawn lollipops and salt and pepper squid starters. Had a very relaxing and enjoyable 2 1/2 hours on a Friday afternoon!

Booked a table for two to treat my mother to lunch on her birthday. However, upon arrival, despite making a reservation the day before, we arrived and were told that there wasn't any tables available but we could wait outside until one does. They had our booking on screen but had failed to implement their reservation system. We left, with no apology offered, to find another place which kindly accommodated us and ensured my Mum's birthday lunch wasn't spoiled.Defeats the point of a reservation system if it's not adhered to. Won't be back as we can never guarantee a space.

We had a delightful evening meal at The Star in a front outdoor covered area.Remarkably every single staff member we met was friendly, positive, helpful and efficient. They created such a nice atmosphere. The manager should be proud!Our food was delicious. The pork ribs were the best I've ever had; the meat was so tender that it almost fell off the bone. We look forward to returning.

While staying at nearby Chessington World of Adventure my husband and myself decided we wanted time away from the hussle of the park. The Star was the perfect choice. The food was gorgeous. We shared garlic and cheese ciabatta who j came with a lovely tangy sour cream dip. For mains my husband had the bbq ribs and there was lots of meat on the ribs. I had the chicken Caesar salad which had moist strips of tender chicken.As a family member had to stay behind at our hotel to look after a sick child we asked if we could have takeaway for them. The staff were so obliging and prepared one of the dishes from the dinner menu and packed each food item separate in foil wrapping. Can't praise them enough. Thank You

Great friendly service, yummy food good varied choice of food. We sat in the pub garden at the back. There are sheltered areas if the weather is a bit dodgy and I can definitely recommend the Eton mess sundae!

Came for Sunday lunch although there weren't any Sunday roasts on the menu, just standard everyday stuff. The food was ok-ish, service very good. Apart from the Cricketers in Horsell, which is just about OK, I wouldn't bother with any Barons pubs tbh. All very reasonable but that's it.

We visited The Star after a long wet day in Chessington and were all tired from all the fun. We hadn't booked but were welcomed warmly and seated quickly. The food was delicious and they have an amazing choice. All good well presented and I wish we lived closer so we could visit again! Although our dough balls ordered arrived too late for us as we were pretty much through our main, they looked amazing and I'm sure, if we had not been so tired and scoffed so much of what already been brought to is, we would have given those a good go too. Highly recommended and all the staff were fabulous. (We dined with a 3yo and 7yo who were equally as impressed)Thank you

I had booked for two for lunch inside on a sunny busy day. We were shown immediately to our table. All staff were duly masked, and tables socially distanced. Service was very good. Food very good, well presented and tasty.

First visit , lunch with friends , excellent welcome and service and COVID safe. Very good menu , wine list , cocktails and drinks very enjoyable lunch, will be back.

Service from all staff including Head Barman, Catherine and Trainee was 1st class, nothing too much trouble. All smiley, friendly and went the extra mile even though it was extremely busy. Food arrived and was delicious, lovely afternoon and will definitely return. Thank you for arranging a garden table so my Grandaughter could play. 5*

Excellent. Booked on line last minute after a day at Chessington as its literally just down the road. Great menu given COVID - plenty of choice and options. Really friendly and helpful staff, made to feel very welcome. It was busy so service was a little haphazard, but this didn’t cause us any major issues. It’s really nicely decorated with lots of outdoor and indoor seating. I had salmon which was absolutely delicious; others had kids pasta (they had clean plates) and chicken Caesar salad which looked delicious and plentiful. We couldn’t resist deserts, again these were polished off with a smile; really lovely. Would highly recommend; thank you staff

No one likes the restrictions and the hospitality industry have taken a pasting. The Star have it just right. They follow whatever restrictions the government come up with but remember that people are there to enjoy themselves. Despite the challenges, staff at The Star are excellent. There has been a limited menu but it’s all good. It’s a bit of a balancing act, which so many pubs get terribly wrong - not The Star. I’ve been there four times in the past three weeks as you can rely on a friendly welcome, decent beers and great food. I’ve always been a fan, but never so much as in recent times.

Love this pub. Service is always top-notch and staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is is fabulous in quality with generous portion sizes. Definitely one to visit if you are in the area.

Visited The Star today after a long walk on Ashtead Common and was really impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, reasonably priced and plentiful. The crispy melty cheese balls were the best thing ever. Our waiter, Henry, was so friendly, polite and helpful. Great staff. The undercover seating was also great as it rained the whole time we were there and we stayed completely dry! Cannot recommend highly enough.

We turned up for a snack lunch yesterday and were found a table in the garden. All the staff we came into contact were excellent: very friendly and efficient. I liked the firm but polite way they dealt with a family who weren’t following COVID rules, and it made me feel safe. I’ve never been here before but it will now be on the list.

Once again a fabulous visit to the friendly warm home from home pub/ restaurant and once again a superbly cooked meal, their food is always consistently great, staff always friendly and obliging, nothing is ever too much trouble. They have adapted their outside space to cater for the covid rules, it’s wonderful, thanks guys for a great lunch. Always a pleasure to visit.

My friends and I visited The Star for dinner on a stormy bank holiday Monday evening. The weather did not affect our meal as we were in an outdoor wooden pod with zip up sides. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. The menu is really varied which is great and is good value for money. Will definitely be visiting again and would 100% recommend. The staff were so friendly and chatty. They really looked after us and allowed us to have a really fun night with fantastic food. One particular highlight was when the wind blew the burger bun off the burger whilst it was being served which are the joys of our ‘new normal’ eating outside during a storm! The staff replaced the burger bun straight away and we all laughed together about it. Can’t wait to visit again!

Me and my friends just finished our first alcoholic drink while waiting for our meal then ordered another drink, then the manager came over refusing our order and says “I think you’ve all had too much to drink” when we had 1 drink each. The rudeness in the way she stereotyped me and my friends for being overly ‘drunk’ when we wasn’t left a bad mood for the rest of the night and I will never be going back there again.

We've just returned from an early evening meal at the Star. Although it was a damp, chilly evening, the welcome was warm! We were served by Henry W, who made sure we were well looked after and comfortable. The service was excellent, and the food was up to it's usual high standard. We felt safe with the level of cleanliness and space allowed between diners, so all in all a very pleasant visit. We'll be back soon!

Went here for a beef roast shortly after pubs reopened outside. Roast was lovely, staff were very attentive and helpful. Also a very good apple crumble! We were sat under the covered part so would have been nicer out in the sun but equally that would be a good place to be on less sunny days (and there are outdoor heaters).

Absolutely amazing place. Atmosphere was chilled and welcoming with exceptional staff, plus if they could make me and my mate laugh and smile then you know it’s a good place. The Star is a lovely pub with an easy walk to do before or after lunch at Ashstead Common.This was my third visit and it did not disappoint, Outstanding service and nothing is ever too much trouble. The menu is varied and meets all dinners needs. Due to covid and re opening, they have added a few covered areas and also the back garden has a lovely tent which makes it useful if rain persists.Staff are extremely helpful and friendly and were keen to recommend food. The roasts are extremely plentiful and serve a lovely array of vegetables too. I would recommend booking prior to coming.This pub is close to Chessington and also caters well for families, with a small play area for children and a children's menu.All menus (Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Wine lists etc) can be found on their website.

Visited after a trip to Chessington - but actually worth travelling to in its own right. Excellent food (including very good children's menu). I am not vegetarian/vegan, but the menu had some innovative options for those who are, and so I went for the vegan curry, which was very tasty.

From the moment you enter you are made to feel welcome. Shortage of tables due to Covid etc but even without booking they managed to fit us in. Only 4 staff who worked their socks but service brilliant with quick and excellent food.Will be back soon!

Excellent service, Covid safe and staff very wonderful and diligent around safety. Mountain of ribs was the best thing on the menu. We will come again!

Visited The Star on Sunday and had another excellent experience having been here several times before. The Sunday roast and the chicken pie were fantastic, the kids loved their burgers and chips, and the puddings were epic. Super-friendly and efficient service from the moment we arrived. Great job team, and hope to see you again soon.

Myself and my husband have been here a few times and always recommend it. Even with the social distancing and covid19 situation they excel. The staff are always friendly and super helpful. The food is just wonderful. Never been let down so far.

Not wanting to eat out currently, we decided to take advantage of the new Take Away Menu as it looked so appealing . The quality of the food was as good as when we have dined in the restaurant and we will definitely be ordering again. 10% October discount helped to!

I was taken out to celebrate my birthday in early October. From start to finish we were spoiled by the brilliant, attentive service and friendly laughter. We were looked after amazingly by Nelio and Luke who made my birthday extra special considering the current situation. The staff dealt well with the social distancing and current measures put in place. We will definitely be back to sample the new menu items soon. Keep up the good work.

The Star launched their take away menu service today, we have often eaten there and always loved it, being a covid worrier thought we give it a go. The food was excellent, as fresh as eating in and have plans already to return for a take away sunday roast this week end. Thank you very much The Star and stuff for another great experience.Robert

Had never been here before. Nice pub with friendly, fastidious staff. Very large car park. Lovely covered cubby-hole, with heaters outside. Drinks - all good.

Always come to the star becauae of the fantastic service we recieve, which we had from Nick today. Food is always good. Deinitely recommended!

Went for lunch. Very covid secure & felt safe. Food was delicious. Prawn lollipops come highly recommended

Great lunch time meal. Great service from Charlie and Nick. Limited but nice menu. Good selection of drinks available. Will be back again.

We went there yesterday and had a lovely lunch. Great portions and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, even in these difficult time. Covid measures were well signposted and adhered to.
