Went with the Fork offer. Thought the food was very good. Good menu with a good amount of choices. Pleased with the discount as it would have been too expensive without it.

Booked a table of 11 and got the back of the restaurant to ourselves for a birthday celebration. They were happy to keep a birthday cake for us and brought it out when requested. The waiter we had, a young gentleman dressed in white shirt and black trousers (sorry we didn’t get your name) was very attentive to our needs, great customer service. The food was really good. We asked for a spaghetti dish to be made with no seasoning for a child, the chef was happy to accommodate this. Thank you for making the birthday celebration such a good one.

My wife and I recently visited Haché for the first time and unfortunately won't be returning again. Despite their wonderful location and beautiful views by the river, the experience left a lot to be desired for. We ordered from the set menu and we both had a starter and a main. We ordered a steak cheese burger, chicken paillard, avo salad and mushrooms on toast. Only the mushrooms on toast were correct... We found it rather comical and frustrating that only 1 of 4 plates came out correctly as per their menu...The steak and cheese burger had the cheese missing, the chicken paillard had the focaccia croutons missing and the avo club salad had no avo! Yes, no avo in a avo salad! :-) The chicken was also overcooked and dry which gave it a rubbery texture. It was also under seasoned. However this wasn't even mentioned, as it's quite the norm these days if you go out for a meal unfortunately. I understand things occasionally go wrong in the kitchen, but to get 3/4 plates of food wrong is inexcusable. That means that both the chef and the waiter (who consequently was the manager on shift) missed it. Lost for words really. They must have really low standards. Such a same for a restaurant with such a stunning location.... FOLLOW UP: I have been asked to contact Marsi directly from my original post. I did, and after 2 weeks I have had no response yet... Seems to be just a copy/paste response to any negative feedback.

My girlfriend and I went to the restaurant on an ordinary Monday evening. It wasn't busy at all – nice decor, though the music was a bit too loud, which slightly ruined the atmosphere. We were the only diners there, apart from another gentleman who had arrived before us. The waitress was very friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long for the food to arrive, which was a definite plus. We ordered a steak truffle fume burger and a sirloin steak. I’d rate the burger 9/10. The presentation was impressive, with smoke trapped under the cover that dispersed dramatically when lifted. The burger (ordered medium) was juicy, and the truffle sauce was excellent. The only drawback was that the bun was slightly cold; it would have been a 10 if the bread had been properly toasted and warm. Now for the major letdown: the sirloin (ordered medium as well). It was the toughest steak I’ve ever encountered, which was surprising given the price, as I'd expected something much better. The chips, thankfully, were a saving grace. Thus, 4/10. In short, for those who value my recommendation, the burgers are a far safer and more satisfying choice.

This could have been a three or four star review: three of the four meals were good (flat iron chicken and burgers nice, flat iron steak was barely warm and chewy). Table was a bit sticky and although the server was friendly and pleasant, service itself wasn’t quick and we saw our food waiting on the pass when they definitely weren’t busy and more staff than customers, drinks arrived after starters. Music choice was a bit odd. So far, a few deductions to the stars. We’d also checked a box when booking confirming this was for a birthday but no acknowledgement. The big minus though is £20.84 service charge on top of a £96.62 bill for food and drink! Yes we knew there was a 12.5% service charge and we used a discount voucher to reduce the overall bill but to add service to bill before discount and still claim it’s 12.5% is dishonest and unacceptable. We wanted to give somewhere different a try but now will be telling anyone who wants to know what a poor choice this restaurant is. Two doors down is Cote Brasserie, better food, better service and priced honestly.

I have visited Côte in Kingston many times and the service has always been good. This time they were very busy, service was poor and sullen, I noticed others waiting a long time to be served. My steak was fatty and cold and I left half of it. No one offered condiments the food was just dumped on the table and left.

I recently dined at Haché, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Despite its prime location with lovely views, the quality of the food left much to be desired. I ordered the "avocado salad," but to my surprise, there was no avocado in it. I had to ask the staff to add it, which is inexcusable for a dish that's literally named after the ingredient. To make matters worse, the portion of the salad was tiny. It looked rather like a side salad.. As for the burger, it was mediocre at best. Bland taste, nothing memorable. It’s a shame because the location and views are fantastic, but the lackluster food and average vibe make it hard to justify going back.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. First, the staff showed a complete lack of knowledge about the menu, and when they brought the wrong order, they didn’t even apologize. Instead, they tried to argue with me, insisting that something listed on their own menu didn’t exist, which was baffling. To make matters worse, while moving around the narrow pathways, the staff repeatedly bumped into me—even after I moved aside to give them more space. Overall, the lack of professionalism and courtesy made this visit a disaster. Would not recommend

Second time we have visited here and everything was perfect. Holly our server was amazing, food came out fast and was lovely. Ice cold beer in a frozen glass. Will definitely be back again soon. Thank you Holly, you were amazing

Always a winner at Hache, have been coming since it first opened and have never had a bad meal.

This used to be one of my favourite places to go: they had these amazing salad bowls including vegan option, I guess they weren’t that popular because they’re not offered any more. That said their truffle fries are to die for, and the shakes and burgers are great too. Service is so so.

This place was overlooked by me for ages but now I'm glad in went in this Saturday. First thing - the décor is impressive. Mood lighting - it just looks good. Not eaten a burger in years. But they served up a really wholesome tasty one. Recommend the Canadian. I added some ketchup and it hit the spot. The other dishes catered well for both our younger and vegetarian diners. Also have to praise the service. Reuben was on the case the moment I walked in. Attentive, and could handle our mixed group of adults and kids with ease. Holly was also very on the ball and keen that we enjoyed the experience. They do carafe servings of wine. Just the right amount and the wine list is good. Finally, I normally whinge about background music in a restaurant. Although some of the remixes were not to my personal taste, they do at least play original tracks in some form. No factory or AI generated stuff you can hear in other (and often far more expensive) places.

Really enjoyed our visit! Holly who served us was amazing and made the experience even better. She was very lovely and attentive. Would come again :)

Extremely slow service. Waited 15 minutes for a waiter with only 1 other table occupied. It was more important for 6 people to chat with chef about their drinking habits than the customers service.

Cote is never the cheapest. we went for the special lunch menu which represented fair value for money and the food was perfectly cooked. Wine was very expensive and vastly overpriced. We managed to get a table outside overlooking the Thames which was a bonus and made our visit. the service was very efficient but a tad impersonal. In our view this is one of the better Cote restaurants

Had such a great time sitting outside right by the Thames. I went for the Steak Truffle Fume burger and the presentation was just as impressive as the taste. If you’re looking for a chill spot with good food and a nice view, this place is definitely worth checking out.

The food here is delicious and is reasonably priced for the quality. I will definitely go back for the truffle burger or steak! I have visited twice and have had difficulty with service. When the servers are present they are lovely, just takes 30/40 minutes before anyone’s asking for orders! Also feeling slightly ripped off as we ordered a red wine and when brought the bill it cost £42! I found it online for £9 so a bit of a mark up!

Frustrating experience today at a very busy Cote. Staff delightful but the food was very average. First a rib eye steak that just “smelled” wrong. Sent back and ordered a mushroom vegetarian dish. This arrived after two of us had finished eating already. Was very disappointing too. Manager handled it well but it was very disappointing all around

We arrived and were warmly welcomed but then we had to wait 30 minutes to order any drinks. Then we didn’t get our drinks for another 40 minutes. At this point the owner of the restaurant (who was sat on a table nearby eating) noticed we had been waiting and got our drinks for us. We asked two waiters for water and never received it. When our starters came the server left the calamari on the table with no cutlery or napkins. We tried to get a waiters attention but couldn’t for several minutes so we had to eat with our hands as we were so hungry and had been waiting over an hour for food. We then waited another 30 mins for our mains to come. The food was very nice but at this point we were pretty fed up. The owner did make a significant effort to improve our experience but waiting an hour for drinks and one starter for two people is ridiculous. The owner removed the drinks from our bill and luckily we had a voucher for half price otherwise I would not have been happy to pay the £70 the bill originally came to.

We have recently had a Women in Business Lunch at the Haché in Kingston and it was a resounding success! The venue is beautiful, Roberto and the team at Haché deliver exceptional service and the food is delightful with very satisfying portions. We will be revisiting soon!

Good service and tasty food, however.... Do not look at the menu online for pricing before visiting as I was told by the staff that the prices are out of date and do not reflect the actual prices when dining in, e.g., Giant Ravioli £18 on the menu from the website but £22 in the restaurant. Strangely, most other items are corrected priced on both menus though! It is also interesting to note that the response from the owners is almost identical to any review where issues have been highlighted!

Went there with my son on Wednesday lunchtime, to celebrate his birthday. I had the 3 main course Set Menu, Whitebait with a nice like seafood sauce for stater was nice but but they were small like the Lamb & Flag in Covent Garden, but this is a Fine Dining Restaurant so guess to be expected.For main had the Steak fries as I saw it on you tube (in Paris) typical way they serve it France was very nice & liked the fact that it was thin cut rather than chunky with a decent portion of chips again decent. For me the star of the show was the Chocolate mousse worthy of any Amy Finder Dining Restaurant best ove ever had in any restaurant accompanied but a bottle of wine was French. My son had the Calamari for starter excellent portion (had to help him out!!! Liked the fact it was cooked in rings fried traditional Spanish way to a very high standard. For main he had a burger (wasn't impressed only choice of two burgers in me u) however it was a standard burger one patty, son said he preferred wetherspoons & Turtle Bay burger! He had Crepes for desert, with to U but if fruit & cream..... And a cocktail which he enjoyed. So overall was pretty impressed and when I arrived it was lacked outside only one free table. I reckon I'd choose Mussels (very popular) or calamari next time & maybe Seabass or chunky steak as main, deffo same dessert. So all in all pretty impressed.

Very sad atmosphere, the front of house lady who served us and the lady in the bar were absolutely unbothered and uninterested, they had 4 tables it was not even a busy service, did not smile or greet any other guest walking through the door either, we never got the water we asked for, there was no check back on how our food was, didn’t even bother coming to the table after giving us our food. Having worked in hospitality for a while now this is a place I would not recommend. The food was good but the staff need to be trained in how to talk to guest. Ruined our experience.

One of my favourite places in Kingston. We went there today and the service was a bit slower than usual and food a bit overcooked. They gave us a massive discount and removed the dishes we didn’t like off the bill and removed the service charge themselves. We left happy and would definitely come back.

When you visit a chain restaurant and you know it’s mid-range on price, you tend to set the bar fairly high. In addition, I had recently visited another chain restaurant whose prices were double those of Côte, and experienced terrible food and service, which I’m not prIVY to name. At Cote I had no such disappointment. I enjoyed a baked goat cheese and ratatouille which was delicious, washed down with an equally enjoyable Meteor IPA. The service was spot-on - when you needed attention it was there immediately, and just the right amount of wait time for the food to arrive. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will return in the future.

Took my payment twice despite being given a void receipt for 1st transaction due to card machine issue. Was told someone would call me as they were going to sort but nothing. Be careful if this happens to you!

Booked dinner here for Son's birthday. What a disappointment! No atmosphere, disinterested front of house and waiting staff who were clearly not bothered whether you were there or not. Overpriced food and you have to order chips as a side ? Bill was £124 and we walked away very underwhelmed. Won't be returning.

Had a delightful lunch on Wednesday, 3 adults and a baby - lovely location overlooking the river. We sat outside with cosy heaters and enjoyed the buzzing and convivial atmosphere very much. We were very well looked after by all the staff, thank you! I especially wanted to throughly recommend the Mushroom Bourguignon!! I was so convinced it was meat that I had to ask if we had been served the wrong food! Well done to Côte for making all feel so welcome with a wonderful menu that accommodates vegan diets so fantastically and imaginatively! Slick restaurant that always feels professional yet relaxed. Bravo!!

Table was very dirty and we were sat right in the sun i tried facing away from the sun and someone came out and told me i wasn’t allowed to not face away from directly facing the sun so i have to face the sun the whole time. All of the waiters and waitresses seemed nice but ours was not however the woman who brought the food out was very nice. I had a fried chicken sandwich it was very dry and definitely not worth the money. If your in the Kingston area don’t go here go to either restaurant next to this place we weren't even asked if we would like to sit inside or not. Glasses were also ver dirty and i was reluctant to drink out of them. I finished all my food because i was hungry not because it was nice to eat everything that came was extremely dry and definitely not worth the price for what it is. All the good reviews that are on here are from waiters asking the customers to leave reviews after talking to other customers and hearing their experience they have had similar experiences to what we had. Very disappointed. The person who work here we had the worst experience with was a tall guy long hair beard and glasses seemed like the manager of the place wasnt the best and definitely shouldn’t be manager i have worked in a restaurant for a couple of years and i know if it gets busy it can be stressful but it wasnt busy and not stressful so again no excuse and very disappointing experience.

Buzzy restaurant. Busy on Friday lunchtime. We wanted a light bite so had starters only. All as expected and described. Good temperature and arrived together. Kind server - offered suggestions for someone who didn't fancy the sourdough that accompanied the crab starter. All very professional. Will visit again.

Ordered a chicken burger from Hache Kingston via deliveroo and it had a piece of plastic food packaging inside the burger. Called and spoke to the manager who didn’t apologise and accused me of lying. Disgusting. I will be reporting this incident to the Food Standards Agency

We have been to many Cote restaurants. This is one of the best in all respects .. food , service , location. We had a superb lunch here , the food was of the highest quality as was the service .. (by direct contrast to the one in Teddington last month which was awful on all counts). Good location on the river too. Will definitely go back to this one.

I’ve been frequenting Haché Kingston for a few years but now with a new manager the service was tailor-made, very comfortable and friendly. It was excellent: any issues sorted with a simple wave of the manager’s hand. The food was hot, tasty & very well presented. Delicious cocktails too. The Haché Society scheme provides good offers and well worth it. I would highly recommend. My friend and I had a very relaxing lunch and plan to visit again soon and most probably regularly. 😸

Lovely restaurant. As an Italian I can say the cacio and Pepe pasta is the best I’ve had in the uk! I also tried some truffle and pecorino ravioli and they were also really good and fresh. The service was amazing too, will definitely be coming back again soon :)

I come here regularly with my son - who has numerous food allergies. The staff couldn’t be better about accommodating his needs and they always make us feel welcome - even though they clearly need to go out of their way to make it safe for him to eat. Food excellent and great atmosphere. Thank you.

We can for a dinner and had a fantastic time. The food, atmosphere and service was excellent. We were guided expertly through the menu and drink by amour waitress Vikki who made sure we had all we needed. Highly recommend for riverside dining .

Abyssal service. Stay away from this restaurant. I entered the restaurant at 10, Mike informed me that the restaurant closes at 1030pm and was told that certain food take 30 minutes to prepare and the rest take 5-10 minutes. He also said that the bill will be given at 1030pm and I would need to leave at 1030pm. The server took their time to take the order(which is completely okay) and the food came by 1020pm. I had to gulp down the food so that it is finished by 1030pm. I waited for the bill and had to call the server at 1055pm to pay. I paid over 30 pounds for my meal that I had to rush. When I paid the bill I asked Mike the closing time and he said it was 1030pm even though none of the other tables were told to leave or served a bill. He explained that the restaurant decided to extend the time(though it was something no one needed to be informed nor was anyone surprised that it wasn't closed yet or was in a rush to leave) I left the restaurant, and then went back to speak to the manager. The manager told me that the closing time is 11pm. And that was what is the official closing time. Mike came and said that it was actually 1030 for the day(something that the manager nor other people served at the restaurant knew about) and they extended it. The manager changed her mind and said that it must have been 1030pm. No one had informed me that the timing had changed because Mike was serving outside who was the only person who knew about this time at 1030. The manager offered me a drink and told me I was unreasonable because I ordered the food, and finished the food when I was informed I need to finish by 1030 and it was my fault since the bill wasn't served till 1055pm so I did not need to rush. She offered a drink but felt that it was my fault that her employee gave me the wrong closing time that she did not even know about but later reframed to say that it was 1030. Do not go to this restaurant. There were still people at the tables at 1111pm which was the time I left. It's expensive with the worst service I have received.
