I had a drink at the fox on the green on a Friday evening and I absolutely loved it. I've always wanted to come here, I've walked past this pub so many times. There are many pubs at Angel so why come here? The staff are really nice and friendly. Always open to talk and help you, and the music was amazing. I heard tunes I haven't heard in years, so it was quite a nostalgic experience. The DJ was having a blast and the crowd seemed to love the music as well. I feel like it's a place to start the evening and go somewhere else or a place you come back to late in the evening where it'll be more rowdy and hopefully more fun 😊

A pub in a trendy part of London. Not very busy in the early evening. Numerous screens showing the same sport offering....A missed opportunity!!! Very expensive drinks, even by London standards. Very loud hip hop style music clearly not aimed at the clientele present. We didn't feel inclined to stay

Weird mix of having a live DJ whilst golf was on the TV!? Also nearly paid £9 for a pint.

Don’t get the food. Bar team were lovely but when we ordered food it was sooo bad. Loaded fries came out with barely any fries, like one layer of chips, then when we tried them they were dry like crisps. Smallest portion I’ve seen. When we complained to the staff, they said it wasn’t their fault but was the companies as everything is portioned. If you own the company or the manager rethink your portions, they’re woeful. All we wanted was more chips and instead we got an angry chef telling us it’s not his fault that felt more like a fight. The problem could have not escalated by simply giving more fries. At the end of the day the company doesn’t care and probably won’t read this and it shows.

Jackson and Ellie were lovely and attentive staff! They were interactive and the pub itself was cozy!

Jackson and Ellie behind the bar were very lovely and accommodating. Had a really nice time watching the football and overall the pub has a nice vibe. V good Mac and cheese, the wings are also nice!

Great pub in Islington. We were there on Monday, it was very quiet and pleasant. The food was good. Clear recommendation.

Reasonably mediocre pub by central Angel standards. Usually lovely staff and a good option when other pubs around are busy. The food is nothing special, burgers are decent, but would suggest staying clear of the tacos.

Overall, you would do well to check out some other restaurants in the neighbourhood, before going to Fox on the Green Islington. Food was generally mediocre, for the price. Details: "Self-service" (via app), food brought in a reasonably timely manner. Do not recommend the avocado and pesto salad (small portions, not particularly tasty). The Bollywood Burger (with vegan patty) was lacking all-around flavour, though chips were good.

It seemed the only way to order food was to download a 30MB app via QR code! Since we wanted to split the bill, two of our group of four had to download it on data and submit our orders. Then of course our food (for the same table) came a few minutes apart. The veggie burger was OK but the salad was abysmal: tiny, soggy, and flavourless. Then the app had the gall to ask if we wanted to tip -- Who? Ourselves??? Also, we got ourselves a pitcher of water from the bar which leaked all over the table.

Outrageous pint prices in a sterile pub.

I was just sitting in your fantastic pub with a mate and was concerned to see one of your staff being very aggressive towards a coworker. Please do something about this as this is the second time we have seen this Apart from that the drinks are great and the service is first class.

been there yesterday with a friend. Huge shout out for a couple who was serving us, it was very busy, they were left without loads of things needed to make a drinks and still did amazing job and kept top attitude!

E provided great service, the atmosphere was great, and reasonably priced drinks. Good stop in Inslington for a drink.

Came down to see the England match by myself. Ashima made me feel right at home, she was engaging, had a great laugh, she was very sweet. Had a good time!

Visited this lovely decorated pub on a busy Thursday evening. Full of afterworkers enjoying their pints, it was pretty packed and noisy but seats were available to relax and enjoy the cheerful atmosphere. I was a little disappointed by the choice of beers (what I thought were craft ales were ciders instead). The staff was nice and friendly

Nice place. One thing I would recommend they do, is put some hazzard tape by the step in the bar. It is quite a drop. I fell down It yesterday as I entered the bar. Have bruises to show for it.

Awful experience. Very pricey, food is below mid, service a catastrophe - had to get knife and fork on my own. 70% of the menu items unavailable - beer is awful. But place looked quite decent. Would not recommend.

Had an amazing experience at the fox on the green recently! Amazing staff that were all super friendly. I was served by this young lady called Ellie who was spectacular , she explained the whole mixr app to me and I see the amazing benefits. I even got a free drink which was a huge plus! Would definitely recommend the atmosphere is unmatched.

Didn't have half of the items on the menu, and when I finally found one they did have, it was terrible. The staff was insanely rude, and the tables were actually filthy. Nasty.

Rude and very rude waitresses, when you go to ask what happened to your order of 2 burgers they don't even give you a glance.. you ask a second time and they reply that they are preparing food for an event of 200 people and your order is after that.. Definitely not to be recommended

Price of a pint surges when football is on. Ordered tacos and chips, I couldn't have been more disappointed. Barely any "meat" just battered crumbs and a disgustinglu low amount of chips for the price. £7.50 for two tacos that could fit in the palm of my hand with no meat, and £4 for chips which were nothing special. If you're looking for food, go across the road. Inter club here is good though.

Food and drink were very good, the staff were excellent and were very helpful with explaining the allergy information to one of my work friends.

I came in last Friday evening, at 8:40, to grab a drink before dinner. I was with my parents and my 15 yo sister, we walked in though the door as the bouncer greeted us and let us in, we sat on a table and order some drinks. 10 minutes later, a lady working there came to the table and asked us how old my sister was, and after we told her she is 15 the worker asked us to leve the bar immediately, handed us some plastic cups and kicked us out. Didn't offer a refund or let us finish our drinks. A truly terrible experience, don't encourage anyone to visit this establishment. Will never visit again.
