Had a fabulous day celebrating one of my closest friends engagement. Gorgeous spread and very reasonable Magnum Bottle of Rosé. Gonna bring my mum back for lunch.

Service was good but food was terrible. Half of the vegetarian options weren't available so I ordered the quiche which was watery and bland and hadn't even been warmed up properly.

Had our leavers meal here a few weeks back, there were about 14 of us.. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the atmosphere was great staff were friendly.

Very disappointed service poor food awful Asked for two items wasn’t available then asked for coffee at 8.30 and was told not available as machine was shutdown would not go back certainly wouldn’t recommend to anyone

I booked the Hogarth Room for a work meeting. It accommodated the 20 attendees well. Leigh and Luke were on hand for questions and assistance, which was very much appreciated. The room was set up, in advance of our arrival, as I'd requested which was brilliant. We were able to connect laptops to the large screen TV, to display a presentation. The lead to do this was provided. The buffet food was tasty and plentiful. The room was a little warm, we could have done with some ventilation. Also, whilst the heavy curtain between the function room and main pub area was good, it could have been more private/quieter. But, very minor things really. All in all, we had a very good meeting and were grateful to the venue for facilitating it.

Nice Sunday roast, staff were friendly will be visiting again !

We reserved an area last Friday so we could watch the football after our Summer Party. There were some people in the area but were ushered out straight after I mentioned it. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Pub is big and nice, I would defenitely stop here after work on my way home.

Just popped in with my mum and my baby to have a cheeky wine and a bite to eat. We sat in the garden in 1 of the little shed things it was lovely really comfy and it has a massive garden. We ordered some drinks at the bar where I was greeted by a bubbly chatty guy I didn’t catch his name unfortunately and we also ordered some drinks to the table through the app which arrived no problem, we then ordered the crab fish cake and the pitchfork cheddar and Youngs ale rarebit at the bar … having myself worked in kitchens and pubs all of my life I have to say the fish cake was beautiful really well cooked proper crispy on the outside and a lovely filling super tasty and was not greasy at all it was served with a lovely bit of watercress salad with dressing ! (surprising how many places give you a dry bit of salad on the plate) and a good serving of home made tartare sauce it was so good we ordered another 1 ! Now the rarebit unfortunately wasn’t so good it was very dry I was expecting to see a nice layer of hot cheese sauce with melted cheese on top but it was really just a bit of cheese on toast and you couldn’t taste the ale 😞 so that was a shame. On to the service … the second fish cake we ordered through the app had still not arrived half an hour after ordering so I popped in and spoke to Lee who by the way is fantastic at his job super friendly and chatty and you could tell he likes his job by the way he interacts with all the customers, I noticed a local in the garden with his dog whom Lee seemed familiar with and knew his drink and he noticed when the guy needed another and said he would bring it out I thought that was great just how a pub should be a home from home “where everybody knows your name” … Once I enquired with Lee as to where the crab cake had got to , he was straight on it he was very apologetic and went straight to the kitchen to find out, he came back and promised me it would not be long (it followed fairly quickly) and gave me a discount on my drinks for the wait. I was totally happy with the way he dealt with it I was not in a rush and these things happen (I don’t think the app is always that reliable!) . So overall we had a lovely time the pub is local to me so will def pop in again soon and see Lee and his team

Booked this for a late Saturday lunch lunch with my 90 year old mother in law, based on its proximity to her care home and that it had easy access. Pleasantly surprised at the variety of the menu ( standard plus Saturday brunch specials) and the quality of the food. It wasn't busy so maybe that helped, but it felt like the food was cooked to order (fresh Yorkshire pudding, brilliantly poached egg). Staff were very pleasant and informal. Worked really well for us and it's definitely on our list to use again.

The Pub Kings Head in Roehampton is really very nice. The food is delicious (just a bit pricy). You can also go for drinks or coffee. A nice place to catch up with your friends and family.

Amazing Sunday roast, friendly staff with big garden

No service, worst pub in London.

Booked a table for two for a Sunday roast for 12. We arrived at 11.45 and the bartender created us in a friendly manner. As we had come for Sunday roasts, she told us the kitchen only opens from 12, but we were ok to wait for a few minutes and ordered some drinks meanwhile - one pint of lemonade and one of lime & soda. After setting the glasses on the table, we noticed there were lip marks all over the rim of both glasses. Luckily I had asked for a straw for both of them and we hadn't taken any sips from the drinks, so the glasses had not been cleaned properly. Hence the 4 ⭐ for the service. The food took a bit longer than expected, around 25 minutes. I had opted for fish & chips, whereas my partner went for the pork belly roast. The fish was very nice and crunchy, with sea salt flakes on top. The triple cooked chips were nice and crunchy, although I would've expected some more of them. They also gave me 4 sauces besides the mushy peas: mayo, ketchup, curry sauce and tartare sauce. I must say the curry sauce was lacking in flavour. Luckily the tartare sauce and ketchup helped on that front. In terms of the pork belly, we were surprised by the quantity of meat my partner got. However, she had the same issue as with my curry sauce: her food lacked flavour, as well - the pork belly was on the bland side and the gravy seemed watered down. The veggies that the pork was served with were ok. 3 ⭐ for the food. The atmosphere in the pub was ok: there was music coming from the speakers which was at a higher level than expected, however that didn't pose a challenge to us having a conversation. We chose an area of the pub which was separate from the main space, with an U-shaped couch, wooden table and views towards the benches at the front of the pub. It was a sunny day, so we took full advantage of that, especially as it was a bit windy outside. Overall it was a nice experience, and even if the food we had this time didn't impress us, we were very happy with the premises overall - particularly my partner, who was impressed by the cleanliness and overall state of the women's bathroom. Whenever we'll be around the area again, we'll be looking to try some of their other dishes.

Ideal venue after visiting the local crematorium. Fifteen of our family member’s were well looked after and enjoyed their food.

Great venue, good food/wine and good service

We were keen to revisit the King’s Head for lunch following its recent refurbishment but were rather disappointed with our experience. Our main courses were fine but thereafter things seemed to go downhill. We tried to order desserts but had to get up to get menus since the serving staff seemed to ignore us, even though the place did not appear that busy. Once the desserts had been ordered only one arrived for my wife. We waited for about half an hour to my daughter’s dessert to arrive, despite having chased them previously. In the end we cancelled the second dessert. Although the desserts were taken off the bill we did not get a proper apology or an explanation for the non arrival of the second dessert. We would like to come again but the service needs to improve.

Visited on Thursday 29th Feb for the opening, after the Kings Head 'sparkle' Luke and staff welcoming as always and the general ambience of pub great.The new furnishings very comfortable .Have yet to sample the new menu choices look tempting.

Went to a wake here on Friday 1st March. The buffet was delicious. Will certainly go back for a meal. Also lovely decor. I use a wheelchair. Toilet clean. Thank you Kings Head Roehampton.

Had a good Sunday roast at the king's head. There's also a good disabled access toilet. Large dining area, with plenty of space for a wheelchair.

Despite the outdoor building work, this place is so welcoming. The staff are truly excellent and the food matches this too. We had a lovely evening. I had added on the booking notes we had a gluten free in our party and the menu came straight out with all the others, we didn't have to ask. Waiter was SUPER helpful and an absolute delight, just annoyed I didn't ask his name but I think he had an Northern Irish accent.

We booked the dining room area for a wake and the staff could not have been more accommodating. It was really straightforward to get exactly what we wanted including buffet and hot drink options (buffet #2 is excellent - everyone loved the food) and we felt really looked after on the day. Absolutely fantastic pub. We had our daughters first birthday here and the Buffett food went down extremely well. We had it booked for 35 and all the guests couldn’t stop praising the food that was on offer. We come to this pub a lot so we knew how could it would be and the staff here are very professional and always looking to help where they can. Can’t recommend this place enough for anyone visiting whether it be with friends or family

Good place even though Youngs is a very pricey pub chain. Very good garden and spacious inside. The food is to a good standard but I'd appreciate a bigger real ale selection. The staff, particularly Lee, are very helpful 👍

Was attending a funeral in Putney and was meeting my friend coming from Wiltshire By chance we saw that The Kings head had a car park so we decided to try it out. Best brunch I’ve had in years and they even allow dogs 🐶 Coffee was really nice and lunch was actually a home made sausage roll which was sooo delicious. Served with English mustard and extremely filling. Lee and Kieran were so helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The decor inside was so comfortable and peaceful I will definitely return

Great space for Sunday lunch. Loads of different areas if you want to organise a gathering and the roasts always fantastic. A little on the pricey side.

Great pub, plenty of space in a relaxed atmosphere for a Sunday evening tipple

Called in here on Monday evening for food and a drink. First impressions favourable. A nice bright pub with plenty of space comfortable seating and tables not crammed in. Downhill all the way from there though. Bar staff uninterested and surly. The first two items of food we selected from the limited menu were both off - even the chicken still advertised on the specials board. No apologies or guidance as to what was still on offer. Eventually found a couple of dishes they were still serving which actually were not bad although served to us in a very offhand manner. I thought pubs made their money by serving food and offering a warm welcome to customers. We will not be troubling them anymore here.

Lovely roast, pudding and drinks. Calm, warm and friendly atmosphere. Staff very helpful. You could see the open kitchen, how fresh the food was and prepared with professionalism and care. Recommend!

Popped in with my Sister, received a very friendly welcome, nicely decorated pub, with lots of comfortable dining areas to choose from. We selected a nice white Rioja and, having seen another table being served, we chose fish and chips. We weren't disappointed, the fish, chips and tartar sauce were exceptional, and delicious.

I really like this local pub. This is one of 3 in Roehampton village and I've only visited this one, but the staff are always lovely and friendly. My dog loves it too and knows his way to it on our walks😆 The toilets whenever I've used them are clean. The food, I've had burger and chips was served hot, tasty and filling each time. It may be expensive for some for a pub but given the size of the pub, the quality of food and staff, I'd say its fair pricing that I'm happy to pay and would recommend. They have a range of seating areas inside and out with different seating styles too, which is great. Overall a good place to go, whether after work, meeting friends, a date or dinner with the family. The King's Head has you covered!!

Very clean, calming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the food was good.

We had a party late July for about 50 people and were amazed about the service, de food and the venue. We had a DJ, decorations and the party menu is great! Everyone had a really good time and got very positive comments from the guests too! Milena looked after us before, during and even after the party, she’s really professional and take good attention to details! Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Very grotty - such a shame as it could be a terrific pub. The food is ok and the service is fine but when we went it felt like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time.

Perfect place for a drink and good food in Roehampton. I like the space with lots of books in here. Nice place for using a laptop. The garden with a shade under big tree creates cool place for relaxing in summer also.

Great venue lots of outside space which was prefect for a sunny evenings dining. Unfortunately let down by the service on what appeared to be a quiet time I dread to think what it’s like during a busy time.

The staff accommodated for a large group of conference delegates with specific and precise meal requirements. Thee delivery and service was smooth; the staff good-natured; and the atmosphere pleasant and welcoming. Would strongly recommend for the quality of service and friendliness of the staff - and the food! Our main contact was Lee and he was really cooperative and supportive. I could see that he and the bar and kitchen staff were run off their feet, but they did such a great job for everyone.

I would come again and recommend to others

Only issue was that the toilets are up a few flights of stairs and only a few parking spaces available out front, with 2 disabled parking spaces.

I needed a place to hold a function for about 15-20 people and as I wasn't from the area we were looking for somewhere and by chance we had lunch there. Food was excellent so we booked the kings head for our function. On the day we had great service from the staff and the food was exceptional. The hot buffet was was indeed hot and the quality was excellent. Thank you for looking after us.

A great place, I had just arrived in London and was looking for a part-time job. I came here to eat something because it was near where I live. It was very friendly and had a beautiful environment both outside and inside. I really liked the atmosphere and was there for an hour. really enjoyed.

Friendly and very helpful staff - good simple ambiance, clean loos and fair pricing. Sadly let down by the food. My house burger was dry and overcooked. Was it homemade or from a packet? Not sure.

Easter Sunday getting together with family. Food was well presented and very tasty. After eating we took ourselves in to the spacious Hogarth room to play a board game. Great fun was had by all!!! 😊

Smaller than expected portions of food for the price paid but the standard was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly and one of the largest interiors of a pub we’ve ever seen. The garden is larger than expected aswell. A hidden gem.

Nice to have a break after a long walk in Richmond Park. My husband really liked the pork and apple roll for appetiser. However the roast was mediocre :( Felt like they made it yesterday and just heated before serving.

We come to this pub all the time and all the staff couldn’t do enough for you they are so friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond to accommodate guests. The food is beautiful we had a roast on Mother’s Day and it was lovely definitely recommend.

I had my first lunch in London in this pub. Their burgers are really good. It's so pleasant that they have outside tables with heater. They had Moscow mules as cocktail but one month ago they didn't had which I was really sad.

Lovely meal and very good service

Came on a Sunday afternoon to have a roast. Place was empty with half of people sitting there being staff. They clearly enjoyed themselves watching a football match quite loudly to the point where it was disturbing to us as customers. At the same time we were waiting to place our orders until we asked a passing by staff member if there was even table service. We got two pork roasts as they were out of beef. The roast was rather tasteless with hardly any gravy or apple sauce, vegetables were just red and white cabbage with one tiny piece of carrot. Pork crackling and Yorkshire pudding were nice. Overall we were disappointed with atmosphere, service and meal and won't be coming back.

I come here to visit my son who's at uni and in residence across the road and we have started having lunch here. Great food, lots of space, very friendly and helpful staff make it a pleasure to visit. The menu is extensive and the Sunday roasts are amazing. There's also lots of boardgames available for customers to play.

Really friendly staff and a great special night with a sizeable group of people. Food was excellent as well. As an aside pictures tend to show a large parking area to the front on G images. It can take 10 cars at most so parking may be an issue. But thank you Kings Head for looking after us.
