Been checking out different pubs in Tooting since moving here last month and this has been mine and my partner’s fave so far! Had the loveliest server (Liv, give her a raise, she’s a queen!) who made the whole experience tenfold. Will definitely be coming here more often :)

Where do I begin with how disappointing this experience was. Firstly, I booked for 8 people for a Sunday pub quiz night in December for a BIRTHDAY (which I noted in the booking). 80% of the menu including almost all roasts UNAVAILABLE. So barely any food to choose from for a 6pm booking!?!? NO warning or compensation for this. They also closed the kitchen without telling us so my friend wasn’t even able to get a warmed up sausage roll. When we asked about the food situation flagging it was a birthday and there wasn’t much to eat, the “team leader” Otto could not have been ruder. Not a single apology for the inconvenience. He made all sorts of excuses - Supplier problems?? We should have been given an heads up so we could avoid the wasted visit and gone elsewhere. Again no compensation made and he didn’t come and check on us once. Comical customer service he shouldn’t be in that role. AND what we DID manage to eat was honestly pretty dry and terrible including cold roast potatoes. AVOID!!!!!

We had our Christmas party at The Trafalgar Arms and hired the Wine Room, which was a charming and cozy space that suited our group perfectly. It was a lovely touch to have our names on place cards with our selected menu. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel very welcome. While the food was just okay and could have been better, we still enjoyed the overall experience and atmosphere of the venue.

My favourite pub in Tooting! Staff are all incredible and the food is 5 stars, and selfishly is not that busy when I go. It’s our mum weekly meeting spot and where we did our pre natal course.

Nice enough venue with your own bar, we hired the room upstairs for a wake between 2-8pm. We had use of a large tv screen and Bluetooth audio all worked and was straight forward. Food was just OK quite expensive for what you get but the main problem was the food was 1hr.45 mins late and a lot of guests left from the wake without eating and I had to chase 3 times which is very poor food should be layed out within 15-30 mins once all the guests have arrived, which is at once it's a wake ! we were also told when we ordered the food if we needed more if it should run out we can just order more, when I requested more at the time all I was told was chips is only available, ended up leaving at 5pm and going to a restaurant

Very nice pub, comfortable inside and nice large outdoor space. Bar staff are friendly and always have been knowledgeable when it comes to cocktails off the menu, and the cocktails have been very good. The food I have had was nice but not much of it. Did have to leave once when the rugby was playing in my ear but is usually a very chilled place.

Just the bees knees spot in town! Had the absolute loveliest service one could have asked for (Shout out Kiera), and found this to just be the kind of spot you don't want to leave. Will absolutely be back to this joint.

It's OK. Had a business lunch. Reasonable menu, not too expensive but food was alright, but didn't live up to the promise of the descriptions on the menu. Think the bread was recently defrosted. Wouldn't rush back, The service was very friendly and welcoming.

I usually only come to the Trafalgar Arms for a drink or two however we celebrated a birthday meal there yesterday and the food was amazing. Would wholly recommend and the service from the staff (especially the lady who provided us table service) was very accommodating and friendly. We had a toddler also and they were able to provide seating and child’s menu.

Used to come here for lunch when I worked at Georges 22 years ago. Lovely friendly staff, the football was on but was still able to have a conversation.

🚇 Tooting Broadway 🍺 £6.15 Pravha The Trafalgar Arms is located at the southern end of Tooting High Street in Tooting, Southwest London. The nearest Tube is Tooting Broadway, it’s a five minute walk to get here. This imposing high street pub was built in the 1930’s and has an wonderful ArtDeco frontage. The pub closed in July 2013 and was set for conversion to residential use. Thankfully, the pub was bought by Young's and extensively refurbished. This is a stylish good sized pub that is bright and airy. The servery is centrally located and has two unique fireplaces. To the left is a dining area and to the right is a comfortable bar. Towards the back of the pub is a private dining area with outside space. Situated at the front of the pub is an impressive patio beer garden which is partially covered. The beer line up is solid and offers a broad range of cask, London brews and familiar favourites. I decided on a Pravha, my pint was great, price point was a smidge above average. The food menu is classic British fayre, Fish & Chips costs £15, Roasts are available on a Sunday. I arrived around 5pm on a warm Saturday afternoon in April. The was an upbeat buzz around the pub both inside and out. The pub was fairly busy inside and packed in the beer garden. The punters were a predominantly younger crowd outside and mixed inside. I decided to plot up in the beer garden and watch the Bournemouth v Man Utd match. The service was excellent, the fella who served me was welcoming and pleasant. Lots of positives to report from @thetrafalgararms in Tooting. This is a gorgeous looking pub which although stylish it still has a laidback feel. There is a nice local atmosphere here and a good mix of punters. The beer selection will please most and it’s not overly expensive. Came on Sunday for a roast. The ambience was good, the music and the very funny manager /server was amazing. They had board games available and we played scrabble while we waited for our food. The downside was the pork was not crispy, the chicken was dry and the potatoes tasted old and over cooked burnt Yorkshire’s The fish and beef was excellent, cabbage and red cabbage, carrots and parsnip was amazing but not enough. Lovely gravy. We wanted apple pie but there was none so opted for crumble which was disappointing as the fruits were like purée and not enough crumble topping. In saying all of this two of us are chefs so maybe a hard audience. I would go back for the atmosphere, awesome staff and the Veg also to try something else.

One of the best roast dinners and dessert I’ve ever had. Great value for money. Lovely relaxed feel and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit and will be back.

We hired the function room for my husband’s birthday and had a fantastic time. The team were amazing right from booking the event through to the end of the evening. Every member of the team we dealt went our their way to help meet our requirements. The food was delicious, the room is a lovely set up and the manager, chef and all the team were super friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation holding future events here..

Booked the function room for a party. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, room was perfect with excellent facilities. Very flexible in allowing us to set up in advance and collecting stuff the following day. Brilliant.

Very average food for high prices! They also didn't have half of their wines available. Very disappointing.

Always so relaxed here. Very clean and kept pub. Toilets are always clean. The garden is very big with music in the garden and TVs for sport. Heaters outside, too. Food is nice and great selection of beers and wine. This is a youngs pub. So, it's not cheap.

The trafalgar is my local and always have a great time there. The food (particularly the roast) is delicious and the staff are all very helpful and friendly, particularly Liv. Really recommend this pub.

Beautiful pub with genuinely lovely staff. Last visited on Monday night and had some delicious cocktails whilst sat outside in the front garden. Wonderful atmosphere, cocktails delivered to the table, and the best old fashioned I've had a very long time!

Nice pub in tooting. We went on a Sunday and it was quite quiet (not necessarily a bad thing!). Roasts were tasty and and a good size. Added bonus that the F1 was being shown. Didn't stand out as exceptional but not sure a pub really needs to... I'd definitely go again which is a pretty good metric to judge by!

A really beautiful building with lovely garden areas and great service! Plus I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of gins to pick from. I didn’t try the food this time but will definitely be back to try it in the future.

Was visiting friends from out of town and after a Google, food and drinks outside in the sun here seemed like a great idea. The gamble paid off, lovely food, lovelier staff, will be back.

We hired out the private room, which had a lovely private terrace in the back, to watch the F1 on Sunday. The drink selection is vast, with plenty of alcohol free options too, and a wine list I look forward to exploring! The staff were phenomenal, especially the General Manager, who gave us free (unbelievably tasty) Yorkshire puddings while they fixed a small issue in the kitchen. 100% our regular boozer from now on!

I really love this pub but I had a really disappointing roast this Sunday. Friends have previously said the roast was nice but sadly I didn't have the same experience this time. I didn't complain as it was Euros day so I understand I didn't give them chance to rectify anything which is my fault. However, there was barely any veggies I had one carrot and some cabbage (which was really tasty) but my Yorkshire looked like it had been sat on and the pork belly was very average. For a £19 roast I would expect a lot more. Normally Young's roast are great but sadly this one did not meet the same standard

Lovely outside area on Father's day. We had roast beef. Service and food was excellent. Catered for a gluten intolerant vegetarian too. Highly recommended

After my best friend passed away, we had his wake here. The place is amazing food was great (they also let us take in our own samosa's) the people here are just one of the best, the atmosphere is absolutely great. Next time I'm in town I will be making a stop. Thank you, Trafalgar Arms for an amazing day.

Not sure what is happening to this pub but recently the food and the atmosphere have declined. Not that it's not a lovely pub, it is, just not what it used to be. Given the layout of the pub the sport could be much better organised. Also........what is it with smashing bottles into the bin behind the bar.......seriously makes for an alarming Sunday Roast experience.

Had an absolutely wonderful birthday lunch for 22 on Saturday in the Trafalgar first floor function suite - we were so well looked after and felt so welcome and at home that the last guests left at midnight after starting at 1pm with drinks and mingling 🤣! The pub had another bigger party booked in the room an hour after mine was due to finish at 6pm, but very kindly gave us the downstairs Wine Room where we could carry on, so we did drinks and birthday cake down there! My guests were very complimentary about the venue, the food and the service, especially from Dan, our allocated barman/waiter for the afternoon who was just great to deal with. I organised the whole event through Dave who was super helpful. And on the day Dan and the chef Danny (triple D!) were really flexible around people arriving late for lunch etc while Lily very discreetly cleared up around us. There were others also involved in setting up the room and serving food - overall they seem to work as a great team at the Trafalgar, which is what you want when hosting an event. Upstairs you can play your own music through their audio system and use their TVs in both function rooms to show presentations, but I'd definitely suggest doing a trial run (and checking your tech kit connects with their cables) in advance, as my photos looked great on my own telly at home but didn't all come out on the Trafalgar's.

Now that’s how a burger is meant to taste. Compliments to the chef. Bit pricy for the location. Felt more like Marble Arch prices than tooting. Service was top notch which also felt like Marble Arch. Thanks Trafalgar arms. I’ll be back!!! (Arnold Schwarzenegger voice )

Amazing Sunday Roast, probably one of the best we ever had. Tender beef and crispy potatoes served with rich gravy. Service was great, Julien was very attentive and polite. We will come back again!

I was visiting family in the area over Easter and they had booked a table here on the Easter Sunday. I am so glad they did, the food was lovely, and the beef was cooked just how I like it, with the veg and potatoes especially good. However, it was the service from the staff and management that really made it special, they were all so friendly and accommodating and anything we needed was no issue at all. I would really recommend coming here after my experience and sure I will be back next time I come and visit my family!! 5 stars from me!!

Hired the upstairs room for a baby shower last weekend. It was a great venue, the staff were really helpful, and we could decorate the room and bring cake. We had our own private bar in the room and Ben did a great job!

Such a little eclipse in Tooting. Really looked after with brilliant draught choices and great service. Julian was a triumph, with great recommendations about Spanish reds from his home town. Will definitely visit again!

Having been a few times while visiting london I can confidently say this is an excellent pub. Just down the road from Tooting Broadway tube station is a great pub where the staff care and it shows. The team are passionate about their ales so i got to have a fascinating conversation with Molly (absolutely charming). The food is excellent with clear passion behind each of the dishes. Further more the dog friendly vibes allow for some great interactions with furry customers. Will be back soon!

I don’t get to come to London very often but I would absolutely make sure I made time to visit again when I’m back! I have been coming to the Traf for over a year now and I have really noticed a change! It’s been transformed in terms of food, service and comfort. It’s improved so much and I love it. The garden is so nice and there are always TV’s out and they constantly show the sport. The food is honestly delicious and the staff are super welcoming, especially Molly! I am so happy to call it my local pub, and I highly recommend everyone to come along!! PS: their Sunday roasts are insane

Love coming to the Traf, it’s my favorite local pub! I booked the wine room with some friends for food and drinks and everyone was super happy. The steak was so good and the chicken Kiev was delish, chef Niko did a great job! Molly served us throughout our stay and she was amazing, thank you!! The service and staff are super overall.

Discovered the Trafalgar Arms and it’s an absolute beauty!! The atmosphere is lovely and the drink selection is great! I also had the fish pie which was delicous!! My friend had the steak and he said the same. Molly recommended their Rhubarb roulade and it didn’t disappoint! Definitely going back!!
