One of the more enjoyable wine bars in London. Fight through the market crowds and relax with a bottle of nice wine.

Firstly, the food and the wine is superb. We had a sharing platter and added som bruschetta and tacos which were all exquisite. The wine list is extensive and opted for a 2018 Sirus Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot at £43. The wine was delicious and so, ordered a second bottle. So, why only 3 stars? The second bottle wasn’t available so on advice we ordered a 2014 Chateau La Tour De By at £78. Sadly, not realising until I was home, I was charged for a £43 bottle of wine we didn’t have and had a service charge of £33.63 added to bill that the serving staff calculated wrong. I’ve since tried to call and get hold of any to speak to. Disappointing end to what was initially a lovely afternoon.

We had a wonderful time. We didn’t know which wine to choose but our waiter Ayoub helped us and even allowed us to try some before we ordered a bottle. He was so helpful and we will definitely be back.

Nice place for a bite and a drink. The terrace over the borough market is nice the only issue are the trains noise since it's next to the rail trace ...all in all nice but would try to stay inside for uninterrupted chat

Ayoub was a fantastic waiter …so knowledgeable and friendly. He had to serve the entire main floor and did it with a smile on his face and was flawless. The tapas were all tasty we tried 80 % of them. Jamon Croquttes and the Padron Peppers were my top 2 out of 10. Great vibe and the Pecorino win was a great accompaniment. Cheers from Canada

Whilst in the market we saw two tables free upstairs. When we went to them we were declined and told there would be a 20 minute wait to be seated there due to shortage of staff - even though there was no one queuing or whatever. Spoiled the moment. Left it and won’t return. All seemed messy and disorganised.

Visited here for my birthday and it truly was a special experience. Our waiter Ayoub was superb and looked after us!

Slow service, had to ask twice for someone to take my order after waiting a considerable amount of time. When a waiter finally took the order they didnt acknowledge us, which I found a bit rude. My bill also contained a service charge, which I paid, but wish I hadn't had to.

A friend of mine and I stumbled upon this place whilst looking for somewhere to eat in Borough Market We liked the location despite being very noisy due to being so close to the station. The service was good but the food selection was limited. More importantly, the markup on the wine is absolutely ludicrous. We selected the first bottle of rose on the list, usually the top item is the cheapest. The price was on the fold of the menu and we didn't pay enough attention to the price. Our fault. However when we got the bill, we were shocked at the price which was £62!!! It's quite disproportionate against the cost of the food. We checked other bottles of rose and they were also expensive. We felt totally ripped off and we won't go there again. It was our fault for not checking properly but the bottle of rose was a run of the mill bottle, certainly not worth that price.

Great location next to Borough Market. Not very busy when we were there. Just had a couple of bar snacks but the quality beyond excellent. Water was given before we ordered food. The wine choices was exceptional. Call in and find out for yourselves.

Had an amazing time here the wine options are amazing. I went for a lovely Chenin blanc. We did have an issue with our food order. The server forgot to put it in the kitchen. However when we asked how long our food would be he apologised and resoled the issue quickly. Food was amazing. When we got the bill he had already sorted a discount and removed the service charge as an apology for the mistake with the food. When I am next in the area I will definitely go back the atmosphere was amazing.

Our tour ended here at Borough Market and we had some time before our program continued. The restaurant magically attracted us and we could just enjoy it. The Jamon Iberico from Pata Negra pigs and the Aglianico "Donna Elvira Settemazze" served by the glass tasted excellent. The fresh bread was also convincing. Suddenly we were chatting with guests and staff, talking shop about wine and specialties. The time flew by. It's a shame there isn't a place like this around the corner!

Lovely wine selection - from high end to more affordable. Our server, Bee, was so gracious and took exceptional care of us. Will be back soon to try the food with some more friends!

Talk about pretentious! We stopped by the location in Borough Market to drink some wine on 5.29.24 at 3:50pm. My girlfriend and I were walking around the amazing market and eating food all afternoon and we wanted to get off of our feet. We had some bread with us that we had just purchased. Before we could even approach the host, he started gesturing with his body language "no". He then let us know because we had food from the market that we could not come in. We were surprised but understanding of their policy, so I asked if I took the food outside of the market if my girlfriend could order some wine and sit down. He again so "no". "No" seemed to be his favorite word. I asked him, "because we have food, even if I take it outside of the store area, we can't purchase any wine from you?" He affirmed, "yes".  We were prepared to buy a bottle or two (this place wasn't cheap) because we were very parched and ready to begin our evening. It has more to do with his attitude than what he was saying - very negative and sassy. The amount of money this poor business owner must lose because of 1 manager/employee with a bad attitude . You have to at least pretend to like your job when dealing with this many people. I would think the vast majority of patrons approaching the store have purchased food in the market. We are visiting friends and family in UK from NYC and will certainly let all our UK onophiles know about this experience.

Ayoub was serving us and he was a star. He made our day. A fantastic person with a heart of gold. We would comeback just for Ayoub.
