The food is tasty and plentiful, the service is friendly but you have to be very careful! We ordered and paid via QR code, this went well so far. We had spar ribs and roasted chicken. The spare ribs were well marinated and fried, the chicken was quite dry, but with the gravy it was tasty. We ordered desert at the bar, where the full amount was presented to us again (including the food) even though we had already paid for it. Eventually I was able to straighten it out. When we got the desert (coffee, ice cream and baileys), the baileys were forgotten. This was also resolved kindly. In the end, the food and atmosphere were delicious, but we decided to continue our evening somewhere else.

Quite a nice place. Used to come here 10 years ago and they did amazing ribs. It’s changed a bit since then, still a decent place to go for a drink.

The chicken roast was absolutely amazing – full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and the portion size was really generous. To top it off, the food came out surprisingly quickly! My friend ordered the beef burge and ready enjoyed it. The atmosphere was also fantastic, cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a meal. I'll definitely be coming back!"

This place was an unexpected delight. The ambiance was moody and pleasant. They had great music and lots of people playing board games. The food was EXCELLENT. Get the chocolate creme brulee!

Stupidly didn't book, was given the only available seats which were 4 stools in a row and then after asking the staff for any other available seat, we were helped by Chloe who, despite having dozens of glasses in her hand still took a moment to find us a lovely seat 😊 Thank you Chloe!

A short walk from tower bridge this child friendly pub provided typical pub grub and a nice atmosphere. The service was very fast and staff were polite and friendly.

Very tasty food! Prices completely ok, service attentive and organized! Music is very loud, so entertainment is only possible to a limited extent, but it is a pub. Especially small children in there even after 9 p.m.🤷

Absolutely loved The Kings Arms. We went in before the Euro Cup final without a reservation and they were able to find a table for us. The fish and chips were fabulous, good beer, great staff and everything you want in a pub. Tried going back a couple of times and unfortunately they weren't open (it was late one time and we were early the other). Highly recommend if you're in the area!

We thoroughly enjoyed the beef Sunday roast!was so well done and plated. Good board fame collection as well. Service was quick and the atmosphere was a lovely chill vibe.

I was only walking by through the window I felt like back in college going to these dark pubs. I got in, Nicest atmosphere, good lighting and vintage feeling. Service was also great, having the kitchen open until quite late, the only thing I can say is that my beer was a little flat Coming here next time in london

Great pub, with a very nice atmosphere close to Tower Bridge. Mixed audience. Kind people, good pub food. We had fish & chips and a pint. Tiramisu seemed not available but kind waiter checked the kitchen and brought it to us.

Was back twice in a 2 weeks, first time was ok, last night I’ve spotted a mice running around the main floor…. This is really concerning

My favourite pub for a roast dinner. It has a really lovely atmosphere and I really like the design. The food is delicious - I’ve had the best sticky toffee pudding here. I’d also recommend their ‘boozy iced latte’ - delicious. The staff are always really friendly too.

This is a great pub. Went here on Sunday and was treated to a great atmosphere. My friend had a roast when I arrived and it was superb. He had the chicken. We drank to a couple of hours and then I ordered in a burger with some cauliflower and padron peopers. The patrons were a little bit for my liking. I prefer the smaller ones packed with a punch. The cauliflower was great. My burger was good too and had a good chunk of beer. The food is decent. Not amazing but really good for a pub. The atmosphere is great and the service was exceptional. Really well looked after throughout. It’s amazing I’ve never heard of this pub before considering how good it was. Would like to go back. Good for groups or couples or friends. Plenty of space despite being busy. Would book of a group though!

Had a wonderful family catch up this afternoon. We travelled from North London, Surrey, Sussex & Somerset. Great pub, great food & lovely friendly staff.

Very nice traditional English pub. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Saturday food looked delicious. Soda and lime on the rocks was fabulous. Quiet, even though close to Tower Bridge area.

I had some great food here. Harissa caulliflowers are special and the calamari as well.

Everything we ate was great. The pork belly small platter was amazing and the Milanese eggplant thing was great as well. The ribs are to die for, just…wow. The servers were nice, accommodating and made sure that we had everything we needed. This doesn’t feel like a commercial pub, it had a lot of character and we enjoyed ourselves. Definitely coming back next time we’re in London.

A regular haunt for our lot after work. Great pub, great selection of cocktails on offer almost every day, and the food is gorgeous!

I brought a large group of 16 here for Sunday roast. The team were so amazingly accomodating and even kept a homemade cake in the fridge for us to serve for dessert. The roasts are very generous, lots of nice vegetables and loads of gravy. The chicken and lamb roasts were definitely the ones to get, the meat was falling off the bone! With such a large group, it was great value for money - we shared several starters, each had mains and a few sticky toffee puddings and the food all-in was £25pp.

Nostalgic for me to go to this pub. I lived across the road from this pub 35years ago. It was a rough area back then. I remember a night when the patrons threw the billard table through the front window. Now, this pub is a family pub with a different clientele. It served great food, great atmosphere. The decor was stunning. Loved it.

Quirky pub, not what I expected, homely atmosphere, did an excellent Sunday roast lamb. Would definitely return for another lunch.

Coming from USA, this satisfied a deep craving for a proper Sunday roast (lamb) and fish & chips for both my [English] husband and [American] me while here on holiday. Food was delicious with not a long wait and we felt right at home with our 2 little kids. All the tables had Reserved signs on them but the server was quick to find us a table that accommodated our family and pram.

We had Sunday roast expecting it to be traditional it wasn’t potatoes were rock hard and smothered with herbs? It was slung up on the plate in a messy pile it was awful other dishes looked fine but the roast was awful!

Lovely pub near tower bridge. Great ambience, super friendly staff and insanely good ribs!!! We also sampled a few starters all of which were yummy. Lots of games to choose from too if you fancy a laugh with friends and family. Oh and some cool t-shirts that you can buy… which we did! 😂

We ended up here by chance when visiting London. Special but cozy bar with all kinds of different furniture. From benches to stools and from dining room tables to folding tables. There is also the option to play a board game. These are freely available. Very busy even on a weekday. We arrived fairly early and therefore had a place to eat something. The menu is excellent and affordable and fits the concept of the location. The portions are of a very decent size.

Two of us ate at the pub one lunchtime, there weren't too many people, the decoration is original, a stone's throw from the bridge, it's really nice to be able to find generous cuisine, and a warm welcome. I recommend the sweet potato fries as well as the ribs!

Very good experience, we are French on vacation and we found this place by chance. The decoration and atmosphere was superb, we ordered 2 fish and chips and they were the best we had ever eaten :) the staff were smiling and friendly. We highly recommend.

A Traditional English Pub, very close to the Tower Bridge. Tasty food and genuine british atmosphere.

We came here for Sunday lunch after reading all the rave reviews, but were left slightly underwhelmed. The lamb shank was succulent and melt-in-your-mouth tender, but the roast beef was overcooked and very, very chewy! The waitresses wanted to be anywhere but at work – very moody and unfriendly. And for them to take the service charge upfront was an absolute joke, considering the lack of ‘service’ beyond delivering our food to the table, especially when we had to go up to the till to place our orders. Sorry, we personally don’t get the hype.

We came here for lunch before the Millwall game. A friend that has been living in London for almost 10 years brought us here and we were all very happy! Great cozy atmosphere, the interiors and the design is simply beautiful and it offers a nice experience itself. The menu has a great variety of options and they were all very good and tasty. Nice variety of beers and very welcoming and nice staff. Definitely recommended!

Interesting pub with an upstairs bar opposite the station. One of the more expensive rounds of the night but a reflection of the gentrification of Battersea.

A perfect place for some quick fries and onion rings with some beer / cocktails to unwind after a long day at work ! Very close to Tower bridge , it’s pretty reasonably priced for having some really good and tasty food ! Not to be missed if you’re around the street for some lip smacking food ! Their vegetable soup for the day was also really good , would highly recommend to pop in during their happy hours and get some economical happitails !

Lovely and quirky little pub with board games, vintage furniture and a village pub feel to it. The highlights for me were it is dog friendly, great food, the staff go above and beyond and the size of the portions of food is very generous. I have been here twice and absolutely love it. (edit 2024) I have come now since 2016 the above review was written then. It has gone from strength to strength. Extremely friendly staff, generously accommodating, sweets on the bar and even more quirky bits. I come all the way from Anerley (crystal Palace) to catch the vibes of this laid back pleasant little pub.

This place has one of the best lamb Sunday roasts I've had. Tasty, well cooked and good quality and quantity. Judging from friends I can say the same for the chicken. I have been here 3 times and the quality has not dropped. As a pub, i like the atmosphere and the decoration is unique and stylish.

Nice pub with food. We ate here on a Friday night and it was fully booked, so it was good that we had booked a table. We got a couple of delicious starters, e.g. garlic prawns chicken popcorn, and bbq pig. Exciting flavors and good preparations. For the main course we all had fish and chips, which was delicious and well prepared. We paid around £130 for four people including beer and wine so it was cheap too.

Despite of not having a reservation, the stuff had us seated very quickly. The food and atmosphere was really great.

Really cosy and nice atmosphere. We went on a Tuesday and the place was busy but we were able to find a table. We ordered a full rack of ribs (£14 Ribs Tuesday), truffle fries (but they charged us for truffle and Parmesan fries which were £6.50), and hand cut chips. The fries unfortunately were not good at all and tasted so dry and dehydrated. The ribs were ok but nothing special. The lighting was cute. Drinks were ok.

Stayed at Tower Bridge and really debated where to eat, me and my wife were so pleased we went to the Kings Arms for dinner. We showed up around 9.15, had a couple of drinks and ordered some food. (Not sure about London but further south its strange for a 'pub' to serve food until 10pm) Holy Moly, their food is some of the best I've ever eaten. Between us, we had, beef and guinness pie (w) mash, Whole rack of Ribs, Buffalo Wings and Pork Belly. I went home and dreamt about it after. Atmosphere was electric on a Tuesday night. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Honestly an incredible place. Will definitely be eating there again when I next visit this area. Thanks so much for the lovely night! If you are in the neighborhood you have to try the ribs, they are delicious. There is one day when they serve them at half price. The pub also has a very nice decoration.

Trip from Newcastle and had Sunday Lunch here. It was fabulous and would Absolutely recommend in a heart beat Made even better with a couple of bottles Malbec ! Perfection

Twice they threw away a full drink when I went to the toilet and I was told "not my problem" when I enquired. Sadly this let down the nice atmosphere
