Everything about this restaurant is poor. Never going back there. Management are absolutely poor.

We were asked to leave our table after 45 minutes for people waiting in line at the door. Even after reminding the staff we all had ordered food and drinks and had only been there for less than an hour. It’s a shape because the place is nice but didn’t make us feel welcome.

Nice place but the manager kicked us out when we were socialising. We bought drinks and food and weren’t even in there for 45 mins before being asked to leave because people were waiting for a table. The staff were great but the manager was rude. It’s a shame because it’s a nice spot.

Visit this place every Friday morning for Bermondsey street runners running club. The coffee is amazing and the team are very lovely. Very much appreciate how they put up with a big crowd of us! Will keep going back

Very friendly! Great place for a post-run coffee or an espresso martini. Loads of different pastries too! On Friday mornings a local run club meets outside at 7:20 for a friendly 5km run followed by coffee and chats.

Habían decidido que eran demasiado silenciosos para permanecer abiertos, así que no querían nuestra costumbre. Honestamente un servicio horrible. No volveremos. Y nosotros cuatro habríamos aumentado sus ventas considerablemente.

We thought we would make our first visit to this local coffee house /bar. 4 of us arrived for cocktails. To be told we were not welcome as the staff had decided to close early - they had a quiet day. We arrived at 9 - they advertised closing at 10. Honestly as welcome as a bucket of cold sick. And the 4 of us would have boosted their sales considerably. You lost 4 of us and our friends as customers. No wonder you are quiet.

This is a stones throw away from my house and Its one of mine and my partner's favourite places to visit. Especially for a cocktail. The apple pie martini is my favourite. The music is always on point. I was here with a group of 7 of us the other day and it was perfect, we had a great time.The staff are always amazing. Also great for a coffee and breakfast. And dog friendly. Staff are always great. We have a favourite staff member. When I find out her name I'll post because she deserves the recognition always smiling, always so helpful. Karina 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

We had literally just finished our coffees this afternoon when an older barista came over and asked us to leave because there were others waiting to sit. Whilst we appreciate that the café was busy, we had literally just finished our coffees. We hadn’t even finished our croissants. This just feels like really rude business practice.

Las bebidas estaban bien, el personal era grosero. El baño era una zona de construcción. Trabajo en la construcción y he visto mejores estándares. Las paredes estaban semiembaldosadas, no había papel higiénico ni fregadero y ni siquiera estaban emplumados y se metieron en un balde. Cuando informé a mis amigos el personal me sobrepasó y fue extremadamente grosero. Tampoco nos dejó dividir la cuenta. No volveremos.

The place is AMAZING! Very vibey and so fun, so fun to go with friends or family or both and the drinks are so so nice.

Walked with my son to take coffee and put my bag on a table by the window so nobody take the table the staff tell me that the table os taken by 2 ladies but there were no reserved on the table and she refused to serve us we felt being discriminate never again in this establishment should be shut down

Flat white was nice. It was quite small, not too comfy if you’re planning to stay there for long.

Nice place but hot chocolate was almost £5 and me and my friends got asked to leave after less than an hour of being there because there were people waiting to be seated. My friend hadn’t even finished her drink. They just want your money and want you to leave.

Pedí un atún fundido en masa madre £ 7. 20 . El pan se había cortado al mínimo. Era pequeña. El relleno era bueno, pero muy poco. Vergüenza total que te cobren por este pequeño sandwich.

It was like blind selection and we like the outside. But inside this coffee-bar is lovely and more beatiful. Very comfy and cozy, ladies as bartenders are beatiful as well, fast and always with smile. We had pumpkin Latte, hot chocolate and tea and also we tried a meat bun. Everything was perfect. We would definitely recommend this coffee-bar and we love to come back someday.

The first time I stopped by here I had a nice experience with friendly staff. Although I bought a coke and it was around £2.80 which is a bit steep. However the second time (today), I had a piece of banana bread, which tasted good. Unfortunately however the staff member who served me was very rude. They seemed like they could not be bothered and gave me the the thinnest slice of banana bread possible- for £3.80!! Unfortunately neither myself or my friend would visit again.

£2.60 for one of the worst croissants I've ever had, delivered with appropriately sub-mediocre service. Not horrific but all looks and no substance. Pricey. Tesco's food is better...

Stumbled across this café by pure chance after visiting White Cube down the road from it. Safe to say I will be returning because the service, atmosphere and food were all wonderful! Ordered a sourdough ham & cheese toastie which was made quickly and tasted phenomenal. I saw on the menu that many latte options are available and I look forward to trying the matcha latte next time! Ocupado y bullicioso, este pequeño café ofrece algunos aperitivos sabrosos y un buen café. Optamos por el pan tostado y el bacon bap, ambos con buen aspecto; tomé sopa de lentejas que aunque bastante pequeña estaba muy sabrosa. Cerca de la estación del Puente de Londres y útil si usted está visitando el museo textil cercano. Nos pareció el personal alevines y muy eficiente.

Just needed a place to sit down on a Sunday afternoon. Got a roll and a coffee for £8.50. Very average for this part of London. What set this place different is the Atmosphere... First, the music is great and secondly, they don't charge more for eating in... I know you can eat out for cheaper, but are you really going to eat a sausage roll on the pavement??? Finally, the staff here are really into their work, as in they are not standing there waiting for the time to pass.... And they are smiling making coffee. You may just want to come here and check if I am right :)

Found this coffee shop by walking by one morning, and was positively surprised. The coffee was smooth and the croissant flaky and buttery. Service was also friendly. I enjoyed sitting outside, limited space.

Chapter 72 is my go-to on Bermondsey Street. I've frequented a lot of cafes in the area and none of them quite hit the spot like Chapter. Coffee is excellent, chilled vibe and good street facing window seats which I love...but most importantly is the warm welcome that I get everytime I walk through the door! Staff always generous with their greetings and make customers feel valued and seen. Wouldn't get my morning coffee anywhere else!

Recientemente fuimos aquí, ya que nos mudamos a la vuelta de la esquina, pero nunca volveremos y no puedo recomendar. Pedimos un par de cafés y tostadas y tratamos de pagar las £ 18. Billete de 60 con un billete de 20 libras. ¡La chica detrás del mostrador dijo que no tenían cambio! Realmente, no tienes £ 1. ¿40 a cambio? Dijimos: ¡no tienes dinero y no ofreces ningún cambio y deberías ponerlo en tu puerta! ¡En ese caso, no habríamos entrado! Dijeron que tomábamos dinero pero obviamente no lo hacían si no podían devolvernos un pequeño cambio. Entonces ambos servidores detrás del mostrador tomaron una actitud diciendo que casi nadie paga en efectivo. ¿Y qué? Quizá sea porque lo ponen muy difícil. No quites a la gente la opción de cómo te pagan tus clientes. Espera a que los turistas se vayan a casa y confíes en los lugareños; buena suerte ya que nunca volveremos. Verdaderamente una vergüenza estar rechazando clientes que no tienen tarjetas o no quieren usarlas para tales artículos; no muy diverso o inclusivo, ¿verdad?

Expensive, pretentious, below average food and dry pastries that tasted like they’d been sat out for 3 days. It’s such a shame to treat yourself to lunch out and be so bitterly disappointed.
