Pret a Manger in Kensington and Chelsea

South Kensington Pret, in and out of here weekly. Friendly staff and a quick service.

Sunday afternoon 430pm. The cappucino was basically luke warm milk. No flavour.

Absolutely vile prices! You have to be a member and have a subscription like £20 a month to get the member price of the food/drink items! Never going back again! What a rip-off! Tiny little hot sandwich roll £5.25! Don't waste your time. Please go elsewhere.

Good coffee, the bacon and French omelet sandwich was very delicious

The south Asian woman is so incredibly rude. Shouting at people every time I’m in. Today she shouted at a woman who didn’t hear them call for her order. She then told her to stop using her phone and said next time they’ll throw her order out if she doesn’t get it. I’ve even had her curse at me before. GET RID OF HER

I saw a few tables wet.. toilet stinks. At the back part with sofas stinks like Holmes people would sleep there. Poor cleaning standards. Bottom part with tables also no one cleans tables

Easy simple quick and no hassle service Tho some tables need it some cleaning and clearing,pastry was a bit dry ,overall was ok ,

Good place to stop over and get a meal drink and carry on either with your work or read a book. The place has a largo seating area and also sockets to charge your laptop and/or mobile phone.

The staff was very kind and offered me excellent customer service. Pret's products are good as usual. I asked For a Mocha and it was really nice.

All staff are friendly and helpful. okay place for coffee, it does get busy. There is a loo downstairs, but, make sure to get the code.

a few days ago I was standing to get my coffee and then I started walking to the seating area upstairs (which you have to walk by the kitchen area) and I saw an employee sneeze over fresh baked cookies! was disgusted and had to walk out. also bought a chocolate chip cookie a few weeks ago and it was hard as a rock but was claimed as fresh.

The staff who worked at 10 o'clock were rude and rude, made the customer's order incorrectly and did not want to do it again.

now have pret membership which is great value .staff are very nice her gets very busy . toilets are always busy

Nice to have a coffee in barclays square.

Shame, food and coffee quite nice. Attitude toward 3 paying customers arriving 40mins prior to closure not being given the courtesy of seating either downstairs or upper rear. Simple grasp of customer service from supervisor would have made it a 4/5 star visit. So easy to keep customers happy and yet senior staff simple failure to grasp what basic service is.

What a rubbish this restaurant never opens at 6am they open whenever they want

I was really like to drink coffee with pret but now I believe its the worst Yesterday 16:10 I did order double express was busy time there the lady who serving just took from two different Cup old coffee what left from other coffee and just just put on the cup and give to me I didn't said any because I did made more then 5 complaint about some problems and always said we will sort out and we back to you but never happened!! I did asked someone work in pret and he said all mangers advice to do and they knows I would like to ask if you do with coffee like that next to customer eyes so what about the food you made In the kitchen behind seeing 👀 I did back round 18:40 and I did ask other double express and layd made it fresh but before to do so was check cap was on coffee machine but was empty so she threw in the bin I was lucky 2nd time 🤔 I think I don't believe you anymore Your food not fresh?? And customers health its not your priority

They have put a sign WC is broken. This happens now in almost every Pret.

All everyone like it to much pret manger until making time of delivery weiting yours orders and as well good employers.

Good food and coffee. Real fast food. Different kind of sandwiches are ready in fridges. No waiting time.

I give one because I can’t give 0, one of the workers decided to tell de manager she saw how we put a lot of things in hour bags… he accused us in front of everybody and made us open hour bags and he obviously found nothing. After that the worker decided to change the story. He refused to give us neither full names or an email were we could complain for the treatment

So expensive. £7.30 for a cheese sandwich

Coffee average service good. They will randomly close the downstairs seating so you have no space to sit as the upstairs seating is rammed with people waiting to use the toilet with no coffee.

Ample seating and quick service. Basic but decent.

Just very disappointed of the staff services. Did happened to me way to many times ordering for example caramel flat white and not adding caramel. Even double-checking with the till person and says that they added but they haven't. Or they already had that type of coffee already made and when someone order that specific product they will give it to you in like no more that 30 seconds being not hot ,just warm.

TOILETS - How many complaints do there have to be about the toilets in this particular branch before something is done about it? I visit this branch of Pret on the Kings Road regularly and have NEVER complained but todays visit left me with no alternative as the toilets, or should I say the toilet (singular) was so overused that it was absolutely disgusting. I say toilet rather than toilets as on the ground floor there is a permanent sign on the door saying the toilet is broken which makes me think it is purely for staff use, on the main floor there are two toilets one of which was locked leaving only one cubicle for customers to use. Customers had to queue through the store in order to use the toilet, when we finally got closer to the cubicle it absolutely stank, and when we finally got into the cubicle the seat was broken, the toilet itself was covered in urine and there wasn't so much as a scrap of toilet paper to even attempt to clean up. As someone with a 4 year old there was absolutely no way she could use the toilet in that state, there was no way she could have sat on the toilet as she would have ended up covered in other peoples urine. I spoke to a member of staff re the state of the toilet and was told she would get someone for me to speak to, she approached a lady who was busy making drinks and who continued making drinks despite me standing with a 4 year old who needed to use the toilet. I told her that throughout the branch there was only one cubicle for customers to use, she said there were two, I pointed out that one cubicle was permanently locked, she said there was someone in there but there wasn't, it was deliberately locked. It is my belief that cubicles are deliberately locked leaving only one available for customer use so that there is less cleaning for the staff to do but this is such a busy branch that this practice is totally unacceptable. The toilets should be checked / replenished / cleaned on a regular basis.

I love Pret. Great options of healthy food. And the ambience is very nice.

Extremely road and disinterested staff which seems to be encouraged by an extremely rude manager. The staff run a riot and almost forget that customers are keeping the store open.

I would Like to say I can’t thank Nasa enough for her incredible effort and consistent amazing customer service to blessed the customers. She always greeted me with lovely smile and give me best service. Thank you Nasa for being amazing

Use the subscription which has gone up

Absolutely terrible and rude staff. I repeated my order multiple times and still was gaslit into thinking I didn’t order a drink. The cashier shoved his hands in my bag and kept asking who checked me out, even though it was him. I offered to pay for another one, but was given the cold shoulder and was ignored. I understand it can be busy, but that doesn’t warrant bad attitudes.

It's a Pret, what more can I say than it's brilliant.

Good for a quick sandwich. My impression is that there should usually be more variety available. Pret used to have a lot more variety.

Usually going there at the weekends on my way to /from work.Never open at the time showing that shoud be open. Even 2h after opening there is no choice of baguettes/sandwiches. It shoud be ready to buy when the shop is opening On this picture is a lot compare to what is usually there in the morning

I'm a regular customer at this branch but the new manager bold guy with beard was arrogant ,disrespectful every one else is nice and friendly. He does need some discipline course.

Filter coffee unavailable - normally Pret would offer an americano instead but this time they simply (and quite bluntly) said 'no coffee' for me. Very unpleasant experience

The shop should be open from 6 am and since couple of weeks never is open from 6am Only the staff is making drinks for themselves! I did even contact the head office and they promised to speak with area manager. Still nothing changed and customers are turning away....

Today they opened at 07:05 and it was a long queue. Took more than 20 minutes to get my order. I'd say avoid this Pret.

Since approximately the 19th of December (2022) this branch have not been caring to honor it's closing time. The internet/Google have their closing time listed as 9pm, however they have been consistently closing as early as 7pm on most days. They COULDN'T CARE LESS that their customers trust them to honor their advertised opening & closing time. Apparently their Area Manager is the one who's responsible for managing business in this poor and inconsiderate manner. I have found the staff at this branch to have been the least compassionate, the least willing to extend any good will gestures even when their service have been diabolically poor, the least to humble themselves to putting their wrong right, the least apologetic and their customer service efforts are the least desirable of all the Pret branches I have visited. The staff for most part are cold, abrupt and proud in their unkind and uncaring response to unsatisfactory issues brought to their attention. In fact they have an attitude that communicates "I don't care" I live locally and on numerous occasions found their attitude to be upsetting and distasteful to our community, they are a disappointing disgrace to the good, kind, delightful, caring and friendly nature I have mostly found in most other Pret branches. I would recommend avoiding this branch, otherwise you run the risk of being discouraged from loving Pret a Manger as a whole.

Opening time is from 6am and the staff is making drinks for themselves inside and open doors at 7am! A lot of customers disappointed!

This place is falling apart and filthy. There is a trip hazard in the back room - loose Lino floor near the bins about 2cm proud of the floor which I tripped over. It could have been serious as I narrowly missed hitting my head and I did hurt my hand. The toilets are unusable. The walls have tape round the doorways to hold them together. I spoke to the manager and he doesn’t care. He claims to have asked his managers for maintenance but it has not been forthcoming. Basic cleaning would help meanwhile. If you fall over I suggest you make a big fuss - I was too shocked to do so

Got a gingerbread hot chocolate with whipped cream, very good. Sat in, cute atmosphere with nice colours.

Still my favourite place to eat on the street.

Just another Pret. 4 stars since it is a clean place, food is decent and it does not get too busy and dirty like other Prets around the city.

Fast service, spacious great place for a coffee & a chat

Been going to Pret for decades....what a HUGE disappointment. Have a broken foot, in a cast, at work-- ordered via Deliveroo. We're a 5 min walk from Kings Road-- the order was supposed to take 15-20min but took 45. The Chicken and Rice soup arrived with no chicken and no rice. Liquid with a sprinkling of veg, very little. What?? for over £5-- seriously unacceptable. No way. I want my money back. I'm serious.

One of the worst place and brunch 😡😡 i use every day and every day toilet not working and also they never ever have any shake only day offer or cold water 😡😡😡😡

I have to start with an observation (as a regular customer of Pret) that the coffee tastes good but unfortunately most of the baristas are not trained properly and don't know how to steam the milk. It's usually overheated, therefore bearly any foam in latte, in cappuccino disappears in seconds... Saying that, big THANK YOU to whoever was making my latte in this branch today at around 5.25-5.30p.m. - the best one I had in Pret so far and I definitely will be coming back here! Slight disappointment that smoothies are not available even if they're listed on the menu (not sure if they don't make them at all or I was just too late).

Very hectic place. You definitely want to know what you want when you step up to the counter because it feels rushed. The cheese twist was very good, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, many tasty beverages to select from and you can pick what you want from the refrigerated section. Lots of places to sit upstairs and down, downstairs area is a bit dark but roomy. This is a good place to sit and pass time.

Kindest staff and best treatment ever! Walked into the Kings Road branch and wanted to pay by cash for a croissant they said they only accept cards. I couldn't pay so the kind lady named Asma at the till offered me 2 free croissants and the kind gent named Smith offered me a free hot chocolate. I really appreciate the kind gesture and the amazing customer service. It made my day and made me want to pass on the kindness to someone in need. I ended up giving what I received to someone in need which hopefully made her day. Thank you Asma and Smith for sharing some kindness and helping spread kindness.

Great friendly staff and good coffee

They literally never have ice drinks when I go In. - Smoothies - Frappes - Milkshakes - Iced Lattes It could be afternoon, late afternoon - they just don't have it. Staff that have served me (and there's been various) just look at you Dull and Gloomy and tell you, no ice drinks... No smile, No charisma - Well, no business from me then.

Once again yet another Pret that has stopped serving smoothies. All sorts of excuses but the fifth so far. Maybe time to cancel subscription?

A poorly run shop. The tables and counters are always dirty. The toilets have been out of order for at least a month. Often there is no ice for cold drinks, in the hottest months of the year. A real dump.

Broken toilets. It's not the first time that I come here and the toilets are out of use. I guess the employees as well have to go somewhere else for their needs. It's discussing to see how clients are treated.

Toilet out of order for more than 4 weeks now.

Another shop DIRECTLY DISCRIMINATING and no longer accepting legal tender in the form of cash. No everyone has or is able to access a bank card. On the back of the 2022 Pride March, where inclusivity is at the forefront, Pret is not showing inclusivity. I think it's an absolute disgrace.

The WiFi is bad ...but that the only thing

Visited at 7:30am. Two stars as toilet was not available to customers, a big trolly parked by the toilet door entrance without any sign.

I do miss the typical cafe/coffee house, sadly this was all that I could find for an early morning (7am) coffee & snack in Chelsea - not my 1st choice as every one is exactly the same, could be anywhere.

First of all I was craving a smoothie. Waited 10 minutes in the queue to be told there was no smoothies. Then I was put under pressure to choose my drink. I asked for a shake and was also told they were out of stock so I just picked a random mango passion fruit and lime drink from the fridge section which 1. Wasn’t even that nice and 2. Was lukewarm. Finally I needed the toilet. It’s a 2 story pret with a massive out of order sign on the door. Honestly really disappointed and still need the toilet.

taste the same as any other Pret. I do like Pret when you get into an airport, aka food desert, but, unfortunately, Pret has become one of those chains that is now everywhere in London making it look all the same. By the way, Kings road used to be a unique road where individual designers were able to rent a shop, now you just found the same old chains you can see in any mall or big city in Europe and USA.
