Thoroughly enjoyed the experience here. Good portions of the mains and the wine was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Very Nice. Fish and Chips were totally delicious. Very recommended. Also the mushroom ravioli was delicious. Plenty of lovely wines.

Pure Vibes and actually reasonable prices

Love this place. It’s now my favorite place to meet friends for wine. So vast selection by the glass, cozy ambiance, and inviting tunes make it irresistible.

The unparalleled service and attention to detail provided by Henry and Grace turned a nice evening into a true experience. Their excellent knowledge in consulting allowed me as a person somewhat particular about my wine to find I white to spend some time with (though not on the first try, but after sampling two others). Furthermore, they provided superb service in the shape of witty and fruitful conversation. I would like the wine menu to include descriptors, as it would make it easier for me to choose a wine and to gaslight myself into liking it.

Extremely enjoyable; friendly staff, good food and excellent wines. Very reliable and understated in a way that speaks of restaurants in a less commercialised era. The restaurant is spacious so that one doesn’t feel like a group with the adjoining tables. Also, we were allowed to eat our meals in our own time, with no discernible pressure to give up the table. As the name promises, the wines are somewhat above standard restaurant fare, with the South African selection particularly impressive. It is one of those places where one can discover new wines which fast become favourites. Would be good to see more English sparkling wines on the list.

I just loved this spot. It is close to Churchill Arms, I found it unexpectedly. Staff were very friendly. I had a terrific wine and hummus with toast. I’m a picky eater and the hummus was perfect. Great little find.

Food was great, but the portions are not as generous as some other places. Very friendly and quick to assist staff though, Menu is big enough to suit all kind of hungry people... I love their Ratatouille beef chops plate... Shame there was not enough inside to fill the hunger of an adult... You may need to order two portions if you are really hungry. All in all, it was a good place to be, with good food and I had a great time.. But had to get a burger on the way home in the end ;-) Wine was supreme according to my colleagues by the way 👍I had the beer as I was going to drive after that...

Cozy place with a variety of wines and dishes

It's a very interesting set up with wine pairing for every dish, the starters were great and highly recommend the buratta. The team were attentive and looked after us very well.

Really nice find. Popped in briefly whilst wandering around London.I really wanted a glass of wine so was extremely delighted to find it. Nice choice of wines, slightly pricey but extremely delicious. The lady who was working when we went was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly-greatly appreciated, cheers. They also have a shop (or shelves of bottles of wine) where you can buy wine to take away. Nice varied selection of wine available.Really lovely place. Would definitely like to try more wine again here in the future.

It was a very pleasant discovery as I was walking back to my hotel. It is a comfortable environment. A good selection of wines from around the world - unfortunately, no Okanagan wines. Rochelle served me and did a great job. Seek it out. You will not be disappointed.

I came close to the Wine Room and I decided it's not for me as it didn't give me the warmth feeling when I looked inside from the entrance. I went little further and did another search for restaurants and came across it again. This time I went in 😀. They have this card system where you can load some money and start testing wines from the cellar. First time I used one and it was cool. The team have a good understanding of wines and gave me good recommendations. Food was sourced very soon and it was good. Food was well presented as you would see in my pics. I wished if it was bit more warm and served bit later after we got going with the wines. The atmosphere is not bad. I would have loved if there was some nice music. I later noticed there was some music but surely didn't feel so 😀. Possibly something to improve. Toilets were clean. Service was very good and very accommodating. A good choice if you want to have a good evening off with few friends or with a partner. Pricing is reasonable expect around 50-60 pounds a person on avg 😀. Depends on how crazy you go with the wines. I had about three glasses, dinner and also a dessert for that 😀. Enjoy the wine room.

Nestled between Notting Hill and Hi Street Kensington is this lovely oasis of calm. Taste a variety of wines or order to accompany tasty tapas. The hummus, peppers, sweet potato fries and cod fritters are fine pairings with a glass of rhe Zinfandel from Sonoma County, California. The staff are warm and welcoming and make you seem like family by rhe time you depart.

Had a Saturday snack lunch here. A lager and Courgette Fries. Nice crispy fries. There are lots of other Tapas choices, plus full meals. It was quiet for a Saturday. Lots of wine choices (it is primarily a wine bar). Good location.

Super mediocre food, not worth it

I came here because this place has been in the US news this week as the location of the notorious meeting where the Trump-Russia scandal started. I mentioned that to a member of staff who seemingly had no idea (despite a plaque on the outside of the building. All that said it has a pleasant atmosphere. I did love the wide selection of wines on offer, though they did seem to have a disproportionate number of South African wines. Two of the four dispensers had to be reset when I tried to use them.

Amazing wine bar. Great wine recommendations - great service - delicious food. I had the cod croquettes. If you want a glass of wine and a snack, my recommendation is to go before 7pm..it is quiet and I popped in with no reservation.

It's a room in Kensington. With wine. So I suppose you cant argue too much that it doesn't do what it says on the tin. The only way the description could be better is if they called it The Kensington Hugely Ovepriced Really Quite Ordinary Wine Room. It's never going to be cheap given where they are, list most of the list is pretty average. Could try harder.

Lovely little find! So nice to try a variety of wines and find a 2018 Chablis available. Pleasant ambience and great service.

Good service and excellent selection of wine but the food is below average, so don't bother having dinner there. Had terrible tummy cramps after a fatty duck pate that tasted like it came straight out of a tin. Clue is in the name - just stick to the wine.

Visited this place on fri 16th dec ambience was lovely. We ordered 2 burgers one which was cooked to perfection the other was really poor blood was running from middle of it. The night was saved by a lovely waitress called Grace who was caring and attentive very good at her job I would definitely revisit this venue for the service that grace gave us an the wine was beautiful...

Great spot to taste a wide variety of wines! They usually have about 40 wines in these little dispensers that you can try from a small tasting size to a full glass. They'll give you a pre-loaded card of whatever value you want (we started with £20) and you can try whichever wines you choose. We tried at least 10 wines - a mix of reds and whites. As someone who is trying to learn more about wine, this was a great way to compare different regions, grapes, and sweetness levels of wines. Some wines we tried were a sweet Tokaji, a dry white (Sancerre), and a Chardonnay. They also serve lunch and dinner. We didn't get a chance to try it since we just had lunch at Portobello Market, but all the dishes that came out for other tables looked amazing. We'll be back for dinner or lunch!

The chef has a nice touch with the food — light and interesting. One big step up from pub style food. Nice atmosphere and excellent varied wine options. Definitely recommend this place.

We visited with a delegation on 17/11 and the staff was incredible. They were all very kind and professional and the food and wine were great too. Will definitely visit again whenever I'm back in London!

The hummus and mackerell pate are amazing served on absolutely delicious bread. You have to try the goatcheese and spinache croquettes.

Our second night in London and we came across this gem! Fabulous learning experience on tasting wines with a wine preserver system. Such helpful staff and a great experience. Tony, the general manager, was a superior host and teacher.

I had a very nice evening. The service was very nice, there was a lot of attention for the guests. The food was excellent, it was more than enough and the taste was amazing. You should definitely come here. My experience was very good! I am never gonna forget this place and the food.

Met an old friend we hadn't seen since she visited us in the U.S. 32 years ago. A perfect atmosphere for a Sunday evening dinner together. Relaxing vibe for good conversation in nicely appointed upscale wine bar. Wine choices were of a good variety priced by the glass or bottle, our choices were in the £ 7 to £ 12 area per glass and pleasing to drink. The best part were the starters, so delicious that we ordered several and didn't have room for supper! Staff was busy but gave us the right amount of attention. Highly recommended.

Overpriced and underwhelming unfortunately :( we really were hoping to like this place given the nice setting but wines by the glass were definitely overpriced - we were not even offered the wine by the bottle menu which had some better options. It felt like the staff was trying to sell only the expensive wines by the glass because of higher margins. My husband's duck confit tasted like a store bought pre cooked dish (quite similar to what you could get at Waitrose), my fish dish was ok, but not worth 23 pounds and our watermelon salad had some pretty cheap quality feta. There are many more places in London with better wine and food. If they improved the quality I am sure they would have more traffic. Overall a disappointing dinner experience.

Super fun place with the way you can try lots of wines by loading money on to a pre paid card then use the dispensers round the room for either a taster glass, small, glass or large glass of wine. Defiantly worth a visit.

Not good, not tasty. The restaurant looked nice, but was a disappointment. Calamari was cold, french fries had no salt, ravioli was luke warm and didn’t taste good.

Unhelpful staff. Place was empty and no staff would assist.

We arrived around 8:45 pm for our reservation. There were only two other tables seated on a Saturday night which we found odd! Waiter was friendly enough and just him and a waitress on and possibly a bar person. We got menus and wine choice was very good. We ordered a chilled red stellenbosch and the girls ordered a bottle of white. They were fine although at £70 a bottle in a pub not worth it. Atmosphere was dull, steaks were below par and very chewy. At around 10:30 we were the only ones left and we could feel a sense they wanted out of there. They were cleaning around us and we asked for another glass each. That was ok but 10 minutes later most lights had been switched off, we could hear the waitress tapping her wonderfully cultivated nails on a table behind us whilst looking at her watch. 11pm came and without warning they swooped on our half finished drinks and asked us to leave straight away, Being Irish we were unaware of such strict licensing hours and maybe if they warned us an hour earlier we could have upped our game.

Not much atmosphere the night we were here , Saturday night . Mostly empty . Food was not bad, my friend really enjoyed the mackerel dish. Steak was unfortunately over done Wine absolutely nuts money , we got an absolute shock at the bill because of the wine perhaps this was our fault for not checking price we asked the waiter to suggest a white wine and he suggested a 60 pound bottle also the red was 75 ! . Did not realize the prices. He served us another glass at 10.30 sorry but if your serving a 15 pound bottle of wine you should not start to kick us our 15 mins later. I am not exaggerating when I tell you the rudest waitress I have ever com across in my life started to tap her fingers on the table beside us . Waiter manager then followed myself and my friend outside to take the glasses off us as she wanted a cigarette. H stood staring at her until she was finished I am still appalled and shocked at the behavior of these two. Do yourself a Favour avoid this place. Far nicer restaurants in Kensington

Beautiful selection of wines but really rubbish service. There was only one other table when we went and the wait was still glacial. Also the server served a new customer after we had already asked for the bill. Won't be returning.

I've been a few times now after a day at Portobello Road market. A great place for a nice glass wine or two when heading into Kensington. A really good choice of wines and reasonably price, considering the area. Have a side outside terrace with limited tables and which is always busy on good weather days, so get there early if you want to be outside. Inside is nicely, but simply decorated and clean which is always important to me. They do food aswell, which I haven't tried, but definitely go if your in the area.

Place is enjoyable and the house champagne is not a bad price per bottle

Lovely place for wine and snacks.

Unfortunately not a great experience. Took 15 minutes to get a menu then a further 15 minutes for an order to be taken. Took over an hour for our mains to arrive and then our dishes were cold, some sides were mixed up and not as described on the menu (for example, pesto was listed as one of the ingredients on a pasta dish but wasn’t included). The restaurant was in no way full but it seemed the wait staff just couldn’t see our table! My friends also tried to use the wine dispensers and every time the wine bottles were empty but they were still charged which meant they alway had to ask for help and defeated the whole point of self serve. Overall a disappointing evening and wouldn’t recommend.

Went for lunch and a drink. We had the lunch set menu. Food was average, not much to say. We had one glass of a chilled red Pinot Noir which wasnt to our personal taste. We then tried the wine “oyster card”, where you top up a pre-paid card to buy small samples of various wines stored in fridges. This was great! A very interesting and deep selection of wines. We’d recommend coming to do the wine Oyster card, but the food can be skipped.

This place is fabulous for 'roast duck'- so tasty. Other customers were very nice and relaxed. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I can't wait until I visit again.

Amazing place. Have walked passed many times. Went in with a colleague and it was a great evening. Especially recommended the Sauvingon Blanc New Zeland wine. The olives and the croquettes. The service is incredibly friendly and professional. Cannot wait to go back! 🍷🥂

Good food, a few mistakes on the bill made this a frustrating experience. Chef was great, service was slow frankly and not very welcoming. The wine was delicious, but they charged us for a bottle rather than a glass as well as putting a pudding on the bill which they didn’t have in store. I hoped both were honest mistakes, so we still tipped well.

This place is as close to as on point as you can get for a relaxing place to have good tapas snacks, excellent wine, with lovely service. This is a clean and comfortable space with really good service. I enjoyed my time there and topped it off with a delicious chocolate dessert. Like a warm and friendly hug for my senses; well done.

Lovely wine bar, took advantage of the happy hour 2-6pm and had £5 rose which was very good. The inside is very sophisticated and they have a few tables outside.

I highly recommend the mackerel pate, it was homemade and absolutely to die for. Wonderful atmosphere being able to sit outside in their roadside seating and have a lovely wine / Aperol spritz. The nibbles menu wasn’t available when we went on a Sunday but we asked for it and they kindly obliged. 💜

There are several very good wines but they are expensive, even for a wine bar.

Nothing is as described. But still very tasty and friendly service and lovely terrace. The super tasty crab does not come with the advertised wasabi cream (but with a weird mango sauce), the pistachio crust lamb has no pistachio crust (but is still v tasty), the chocolate fondant is not fondant (ie no melting middle) but it all tastes nice, the wines are great, the service super friendly and one sits on a lovely terrace. All good.

Loved the atmosphere and the food/wine!

We were outside. Me and a friend had two class of mulled wine each, a tiny cheese board and one sweet potatoes fries. We had to pay 60 pounds. I thought there was a mistake at the beginning. The cheese board only had 3 small pieces of cheese, 6 crackers and some grapes and it was 22 pounds. I am honestly sad because I am between these people that got 3 bottle of wine from them and mulled wine takeaway (which was only 5 pounds at the time) on fridays because I wanted to support small business in my neighborhood, but 60 pounds for 4 glasses of mulled wine, few little pieces of cheeses, and not well cooked fries is ridiculous. I live just around the corner but they will never see me again, and my friend that was with me tonight was quiet shocked too.

Good wine options. The place is very cosy and elegant. I'd recommend it for a date or to with a friend. It's one of those places where you have a quite and relaxing chat, good vibes and drinks.

Wine and food are still good, although no enomatic machines hinder the experience a little. Plus, staff at our table had barely any proper wine training, and were not very attentive, despite the low numbers of people in the restaurant

Très belle surprise , en rentrant à notre location , nous sommes passés devant ce restaurant à la façade classique , mais qui affichait une carte intéressante nous y avons dîner et ce fut une véritable surprise . Des plats succulents , l’association parfaite des aliments , une belle présentation. Il suggère pour chaque plat une recommandation pour les amateurs vin , et vous ne serez pas déçus. Sans hésitation ,Nous y sommes retournés le lendemain pour notre dernier jour à Londres , Un grand merci pour ces délicieux moments ,

Limited menu for lunch the croquetas were very tasty , the cheese selection was OK, but too expensive for £18 , mackerel Pate was fine, a very good selection of wine to taste and wonder, fun atmosphere for Thursday lunch was very quite with only a few tables, how ever the service was very friendly and good enjoyed the time, would go again
