Food and drinks are good overall. Service sucks and every time we go the staff are super unfriendly they suck your energy out! Some training is necessary to help them learn how to handle orders more positively and in a more friendly way!

Very nice café, five of us spontaneously went here for breakfast and felt very comfortable. The food was exactly what we expected. Would love to come back.

Stressful and overpriced café. It does have large windows and is quite nice when the sun is out. The service is quick but the food is not very good - rather simple and not very tasty. We had a salad and a panini (hot sandwhich) and were also charged extra without being informed for one half slice of toast.

Interesting menu which can be personalised. Friendly staff. The cafe is tucked away from main roads and so pleasantly quiet. It is also on the corner and has windows on 2 sides giving lots of light.

Wide and tasty assortment of breakfast options with kind staff and attractive decor. It was all very good.

Fantastic little cafe off the beaten track. Nice ambience. The staff were amazingly friendly, and were happy to make my daughter a bespoke chicken and cheese toastie, which she said was delicious. I ordered the octopus salad, which turned out to be a very good sized portion with lots of octopus in - and it was probably the most tender octopus I've ever eaten. Very pleased we stumbled across this lovely place.

Don’t go if you just want to enjoy a coffee! The owner rudely requested me and my group of friends to leave within 20 minutes as we were only having a coffee and juices.

Incredibly rude owner. Asked us to leave at midday with empty venue as we were only having a bad (!) coffee!

Ordered a latte with almond milk, and scrambled eggs with salmon and sundried tomatoes. What a full and light breakfast at the same time. Latte was rich and delicious. While the eggs and salmon were plated beautifully. Amazing experience.

Wonderful place to relax, read a book, or people watch. The cafe is down a quiet leafy street on Abingdon Road. There are lots of seating outside and plenty of seats inside the cafe too. The food portions are quite generous & delicious and they have tasty cakes.

Firstly, I can't understand why this cafe is ££-rated! It's not (especially opposite The Abingdon!) and it offers generous portions of brunch-type food. We've had many meals here and, at lunch time, if the sun is shining, it's a great spot to relax. The choice of dishes is also excellent (paninis are particularly good!)

Fairly smart local cafe that excels in breakfast and lunch. Generous portions, good food and great value for a cafe just off High St Kensington. Would recommend the banana matcha smoothie and the chicken and Parma ham salad that’s to die for. Been coming here for years. Outdoor seating on the pavement for balmy days where there is a nice sun trap.

The best neighbourhood cafe you could ever wish for! Excellent coffee and delicious and generous breakfasts, brunch, sandwiches and salads. Fiora and Julian are lovely hosts and always make me feel welcome, even when I come in from the park with two muddy dogs! It's a gem away from the bustle of the High Street, and well worth a special visit.

We went as a family on Sunday to sit in and have lunch and a coffee. There was 10 of us . The second we say down the guy was very rude because he saw 4 children with us and told us that we couldn't sit down if we were not going to eat since it was lunch time and although we were all going to eat, the way he spoke was not at all inviting to us. This is a public place and there were so many people just coming in to have a coffee. The guy was so rude and I felt very racist. We would have spent not less than £200 while he is waiting for people that might not even come. Not happy at all. You read fantastic reviews, you go and see the place because the reviews are great and then you get hot by the greatest disappointment.

I have been in many Cafes in Kensington this is by far the worst service you can get . The owner seems to be always very stressed and hot tempered and inhospitable and irritated. We are always asked if we will eat or not because the tables are needed for others !!!! Even though we say we want to have lunch!!! Very aggressive owner be very careful.

I've been having business meetings at this place for some weeks now. Whilst it's a nice enough place decor-wise, and the food is passable (the smoothies are good, the coffee likewise), the manager (owner?) appears to have a disdainful approach towards customers and the staff do not look happy; please try and crack a smile when someone walks in to spend money even if you don't care whether they eat there or not

I had a lovely jasmine tea and cannoli outside the cafe on a Sunday afternoon. Great service, relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices. Some lovely looking sweets to choose from too. Good spot a little off the beaten track to avoid the busyness you experience in some cafes.

Just popped in for a takeaway coffee the welcom was so sad no hello no smiles i won't be going back for a coffee.

Unfortunately the coffee was done with poor technic and was served boiling and made with milk that was left outside for a long time. Bitter to taste and even more bitter on the aftertaste. Also it was a cappuccino instead of a flat white that I ordered. Looks cozy though. Not for coffee enthusiasts, avoid.

Very good for brunh or lunch. It takes a bit of time to be served but the food is good. It can be an option for afternoon coffee with friends.

The chicken in the chicken salad I had was the worst chicken I have ever tasted in my life - it was soak in something, the fibres we short and crunchy and did not taste like chicken at all. The scrambled eggs seemed to have no yellow colour so most probably they are of a cheap quality too.

Seriously the best coffee in Kensington! They also have delicious fresh juices like apple, carrot, ginger Yum! and their breakfasts are delicious as well as their lunch menu, grilled halumi salads, avocado salads.. its just Devine!

Hier frühstücken die Londoner, kein Touristenörtchen. Die Karte ist riesig, es gibt "light breakfast" und auch "full breakfast",exotische Smoothie und Kaffee Kombinationen. Uns hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt.

I visited this place earlier today and wasn't too impressed. Manager told me I need to get a drivers license for my pushchair where my 7 month old son was in. Descent coffee and food, but not friendly staff!

This sweet cafe is just off Kensington High Street, but it felt like we were in Paris. Cozy atmosphere, attentive waitstaff and delicious food. We loved our breakfast here! I got the ham and cheese croissant and it was heaven. My husband ordered the special (wild boar sausage with poached eggs) and thought his was the best. My friend loved her baked eggs with parma ham, mushrooms and truffle oil. All very creative and perfect for a relaxing morning when paired with lattes and cappuccinos. Cappuccini? Whatever, they were lovely. Special place for breakfast. You won't be disappointed.

Utterly lovely cafe. Excellent coffee, cakes and tea. We were planning on a quick stop but stayed a couple hours. Particularly comfortable in nice weather as there’s lovely outdoor seating. The team are all really helpful, too.

My friend and I stopped here for breakfast before going to the Natural History Museum, which was about a mile away. They had multiple dairy-free milk options, and I got a almond milk mocha and my friend got a smoothie! My mocha was okay, but my granola, strawberry, honey and soya milk breakfast was delicious and filling! My friend got the porridge and gobbled it up as well! I thought it was reasonably-priced for the area it was in.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon to meet up with family and have some lunch. We were welcomed by a stony-faced waitress who seated us. Some of the group joined us a few minutes later. The first arrivals ordered food and drinks. When the second arrivals arrived, the lady serving us became very pushy stating that we all have to eat. Instead of exposing nicely she was abrupt and aggressive. She even refused to serve water to one person stating “buy water from there..” pointing to the fridge and gesturing in a hostile manner. I attempted to explain that we (5 persons) were intent on eating with exception of one person. She continued grumbling. She rudely stated “you have to understand this is a family business” as if what we were being wholly unreasonable! After being treated with disdain, I lost my patience in trying to defend my family and diffuse the tension as we had elderly and infants with us. The waitress in question began to speak loudly over us all, dismissing everything we were saying. Her colleague who was unaware of the situation attended and put his arm around her as if to console her seemingly trying to imply I had acted unreasonably. This experience was appalling and I will be writing to the licensing department at the local authority as we were refused tap water before ordering food. I cancelled everyone’s food and we paid for drinks and left: Had this waitress simply explained that there was a minimum charge or that everyone was expected to eat before seating us, then this would’ve been fine. A lot of restaurants like this one can be too business orientated and forget that people expect to have a relaxed time for the extortionate money we are charged for relatively poor quality produce. I wouldn’t recommend anyone visit this place. I suspect that like most restaurants that don’t train their staff in etiquette and their legal requirements (in this instance to provide tap water), it will not exist in a couple of years from now.

My favourite run-in-for-a-coffee shop. Fabulous find - easy to park illegally right outside and run in for a take away coffee (I wouldn't bother if the coffee wasn't worth it, but it is!) and you can do this in sight of your car/bike so no ticket worries. Very pleasent cafe if you've time to stop for a sticky bun or lunch too.

Best coffee shop we found in London. Quaint location and away from the super touristy cafes or grab and go shops. Dropped a star because the place was very warm. We were all sweating which made it a bit uncomfortable.

This is a real neighborhood gem. Salads, juices, simple dishes are healthy and tasty. The owners couple is always welcoming and kind. the menu is regularly renewed with creative new salads and everything is really good. Most clients are regulars and the place has a charming atmosphere.

Visited London and was staying close by. This became our go to place in the morning. Coffee was good (not perfect), but all the food was absolutely fantastic. High quality ingredients and great flavor combinations. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They never minded if we stayed for an hour just enjoying the morning. Also has some tiny outdoor seating for beautiful mornings.

Food is very poor. If you order food, only get a sandwich, not a salad or main dish. Coffee is okay

This place has delicious food which is served with a smile, great servce and the best cofee you can find in central London. If you have a dog bring it down the the Cafe Nouvelle because animals, kids, whatever you can think of, bring it down to the Cafe Nouvelle. There is no other place where my kids enjoy the food better.

This is the quintessential location in Earls Court to enjoy a nice calm piece of quiet in the city. Its atmosphere is perfect for any mood with which you would frequent a cafe :)
