The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in London

Frecuento diferentes Gails a menudo principalmente Earlsfield y Balham y Gloucester Road. Generalmente el servicio es agradable y excelente en la marca Earlsfield. I ordered some tea which was nice and reasonably priced, then went back to order a sweet treat which was just okay. I didn’t like that it was clingfilm wrapped as I think that just looks tacky and doesn’t make the food appear fresh. Clingfilm isn’t recyclable either which isn’t great. The lady behind the counter was very nice though I’ll add. It’s a nice place inside but it really needs a loo. The problem with calling it a cafe is that you’d naturally expect most cafes to have toilet facilities. It dampens the overall experience knowing that you have to leave the place to ‘do your business’. Regarding the toilets issue, I’ve seen the manager reply to other reviews saying the staff toilet isn’t available to customer for health and safety reasons, which at first glance, is an immediate concern for the staff. There are a few places along the street do have toilet facilities as I’ve used them many times. The only place that I’m certain doesn’t have toilets is ‘The Nook’ which is a takeaway place so doesn’t really need them. Is there nothing that can be done with the staff toilets? Surely you can just get them risk assessed so customers can use them. There are loads of places in Hampstead with basement toilets so I can’t see there being a massive problem with them being below the premises – Hampstead Mezze on Flask Walk is a good example. Instead of saying it’s a health and safety risk, it would just be better to properly explain why the toilets aren’t fit for use, then that would hopefully stop people leaving negative reviews. The other fantastic thing about a toilet would be that, if located at the back of the store, customers would be able to glance at the selection of products on the way to the facility itself. Please do feel free to reply to this review as I’m genuinely intrigued what’s really stopping customers use the staff toilets. I think 3 stars is fair for the place in its current state. Personally, I’d love to see it more as a cafe than a shop as half the space seems wasted at the moment as you have to be let into the shop side to browse.

We are no longer local, we were up that way and passing by it seemed a nice place to grab a bite. Good choice too, lovely coffee. Friendly staff and cakes to die for. They got my order wrong, it wasn’t the end of the world and despite offers I declined their kind invitation to change it for what I did order. The incorrect order was delicious, as was their carrot cake. They were busy, we were served quickly and our order was delivered just as quick. I’ve been reading through some of the other reviews, particularly the bad ones and it doesn’t reflect the place I visited. The staff are friendly, attentive and very busy. The tables were clean and the place itself was clean tidy bright and welcoming. Five stars and a recommendation that you visit.

Been going to Taboon on/off for almost 20 years, service can be a bit confusing and can be very unwelcoming to people who aren't from a certain religion - but as a rule I never let terrible racial abuse come between me and good falafel!

scammed into purchasing overpriced toastie and coffee... with no prices on the wall charged £9 for a toastie - bacon looked like it had been sitting on display for days with some sliced cheese heated up in a microwave... £4 for a coffee - tasted odd... Pretty upset about the whole experience

Great coffee and lovely staff. However, since becoming dog friendly the relaxation element I associate with going for coffee has declined rapidly. I now have to contend with dogs whining, barking and growling and on a regular basis. Can owners at least be made aware of a duty to keep dogs under control? Perhaps a notice can be displayed somewhere?

Great place to stop for a beer and chat. Small but busy. You have to order at the bar but the bartender was quick. Recommend for an afternoon or evening beer stop.

Hugely disappointed by the staff's behaviour, the lady at the till, called me rude in front of the whole queue. Please do not go there if you respect yourself.

El café fue bastante decepcionante. Tenía la sopa de pimiento rojo, que carecía de sabor y era tan delgada y acuosa que no podía comerla con una cuchara - estaba salpicando por todas partes! ¡Terminé bebiéndolo del cuenco! Esto se sirvió con una rebanada de pan, que estaba bien, pero no tenía buena relación calidad-precio en general. Los bizcochos eran adecuados, pero un poco secos y la esponja Victoria era bastante básica. No hay crema coagulada disponible para los bollos. Pensé que las opciones de comida eran muy limitadas y definitivamente podría haber sido mejor. Como otros han dicho, la próxima vez llevaría un picnic.

Visité el pub el 22 de enero de 2019 para desayunar. Había estado usando el pub de forma intermitente durante 10 años o más sin problemas. En esta ocasión llegué a eso de las 12. 30 y pidió una cerveza y desayuno. La nueva camarera me informó que tenía que cambiar el barril. Cuando se entregó, de repente noté un fuerte olor a lejía en el bar, pero supuse que estaban limpiando las cubiertas. Cuando probé la cerveza me atraganté. Sabía como (lo que imagino) lavando sabores líquidos. Obviamente, había una gran concentración de limpiador de tuberías en el vidrio. La camarera estaba confundida y confesó que no sabía de dónde había salido el abrumador olor a lejía, pero admitió que mi vaso de cerveza apestaba. Llamó a su superior, quien procedió a investigar y luego limpió la línea correctamente. No me dijeron nada, solo lugares comunes, pero ella estaba claramente preocupada. Después de visitar el baño para limpiarme la garganta, me devolvieron el dinero y me ofrecieron una cerveza diferente. En ningún momento admitieron ni aconsejaron que me había tragado una sustancia cáustica. Se trata de contener la situación, sin tener en cuenta mi bienestar. Salí del pub enfadado por su actitud. No volveré

Went there to try and get a convenient breakfast without having to walk too far. The coffee was cold somehow? And the food was that bad you could get better food on an aeroplane

Deliveroo order #7485 4th September 2024 EMAIL I SENT WAS BLOCKED Dear Spielburger We love your burgers !..we do ! Have ordered many times. You can check to see how often via deliveroo. Was just upset that this evening's meal did not include the strawberry milkshake that I had ordered as part of the meal deal order. If your milkshakes were no longer available then why did you allow me to proceed with the order ? My son was really disappointed. It's ok, we will still order from you but you clearly have a system issue when it allows you to add an item that is unavailable. Surely at your end you could see that, and still you just sent the order without an alternative or even a note, but, you took full payment !! i just wanted to let you know this was upsetting. My son is autistic and loves your burgers. Thank you anyway

Sad to see this place has closed down but actually wasn’t great at all. Blonde manager women was rude, majority of the staff were rude, food was overpriced, portion sizes were constantly different due to a different chef every single time I went in. Just a bit naff really.

The Caesar’s salad is phenomenal. For the meat eaters I highly recommend the ribs. The portions are huge and the quality of the ingredients is outstanding.

Este bar es ahora llamado en Bart's y es genial para los tragos después del trabajo, especialmente si va a trabajar por Bartolomeo ya que periódicamente dan NHS descuento!! Le habían hecho una renovación. A menudo tiene música en vivo y tiene un buen ambiente. Gran bar / comida de plato y para grupos.
