Deliveroo order #7485 4th September 2024 EMAIL I SENT WAS BLOCKED Dear Spielburger We love your burgers !..we do ! Have ordered many times. You can check to see how often via deliveroo. Was just upset that this evening's meal did not include the strawberry milkshake that I had ordered as part of the meal deal order. If your milkshakes were no longer available then why did you allow me to proceed with the order ? My son was really disappointed. It's ok, we will still order from you but you clearly have a system issue when it allows you to add an item that is unavailable. Surely at your end you could see that, and still you just sent the order without an alternative or even a note, but, you took full payment !! i just wanted to let you know this was upsetting. My son is autistic and loves your burgers. Thank you anyway

Ordered a burger and sweet potato fries Only got the burger, how can they miss that? That’s like going to your local fish and chip shop and ordering haddock and chips…coming home and there’s no haddock I won’t be going back there again…this order was via deliveroo

If I want a proper burger this is where I go and the service has always been great. Go for a good 1.

It’s unfortunately so hit and miss here. Mostly a miss. And a big miss tonight awful dry overcooked burgers and chips were cold and greasy. Food seems to be better if you order in the cinema rather than eating in restaurant. Avoid until you see better reviews.

I actually really like the burgers here. Order via Deliveroo and always the last on the drop off so burger normally cold but still tasty (not restaurants fault). My issue is on my last order I received the most burned greasy fries, contacted Spielburger Barnet via email. Told them their quality control has gone down.. that was a few weeks a go… quality control as bad as customer service. Was a loyal customer, but as this restaurant isn’t prepared to reply to customers, with regret I will spend my money elsewhere.

This was a very big surprise and a local gem - must admit expected it to be crap but boy I was wrong there ... It was my Daughters 16th birthday and she done her research and said she wanted her birthday meal from this place - when I seen it was the Everyman cinema burger joint with plastic looking interior from the pics online I was saying no way choose someplace else that will deliver. So the family went ahead and ordered us the 5 burger and chips meals via deliveroo one of them being sweet potato fries I had the 1916 one and I must say wow the chef must be a professional because the burger meat was as good as anything you'd get in a top restaurant and the chips were lovely too. Just goes to show you that first impressions from the online pics was way off and this place is very well worth it. We paid under £70 for 5 meals and we really enjoyed the burgers from there.

Second time ordering a delivery from here. First time, had a little bit of a wait, burger not very warm but tasty. Second time, no wait and burger was delivered hot. Very generous with their fillings and very tasty (1912 burger with a little spice hit), looking forward to lockdown ending and to get the opportunity to eat inside the establishment. A lovely little gesture was they put a tub of chocolates with my order wishing us a happy 2021. Worth giving a go.

Surely not enough reviews for this place, the burger was AWESOME, so tasty, along with the sauces and the chips, seasoned to perfection. The milkshake was divine and the cookies and icecream heavenly. Honestly would probably have bypassed this place by the reviews so far, but like most things on social media, don't believe everything you read. Thanks chef! Ps and staff friendly 😊 pps I'm not paid to write this review, honest feedback.. Thank you

We ordered from this place previously which was ok then but this time the food was cold, payed more for different items but never received them and they couldn’t be bothered to answer the phone when we tried to complain to get some of our money back! I highly do NOT recommend this place and I should of taken the other reviews into consideration before ordering.

Arrived at 1:45pm for lunch, entrance door was locked ... we weren’t sure it was open until we could see staff inside from the window. No one acknowledge us or give advise to go around by the cinema entrance. Not a great start. Finally in, waiter disappeared, kitchen staff look at us without acknowledge. We waited good 5 min to seat down and get menus. May I specified that the restaurant was empty of customers !! Lots of staff coming in & out constantly but never the one who is able to help you. After ordering, we watched our food ready on the pass for at least 10 min before someone arrived to pick it up Food (burgers) was cold. We did order starters which were served just after the main was put on the table. My drink (ready made soda out of a bottle) was the last thing bring at the table after reminder .. No one check on us if food was alright New staff was in & out but never stayed more than time to say hi to the kitchen staff At the end we finished but no one to ask the bill. Waited 5-10 min .. no one .. we ask the kitchen staff they were not bother. However they were happy to get their plate and go eat them in the restaurant. Could they not do the same with our plates when they were ready ? Massive disappointment.

I like this place because you can have dinner inside the everyman cinema. The staff were friendly but abit overwhelmed because they had a kids party. The food was nice.

My wife went to Barnet for some personal work on a Saturday afternoon and decided to pop into this place as our friend had recommended their burgers. We stepped into this grunge-ish decor which definitely felt more Shoreditch than Barnet. I ordered one of their beef burgers and my wife ordered nachos with guacamole. The food arrived soon enough as we were the only ones inside. The burger, as expected was excellent. The nachos and guacamole was just about okay. The prices were slightly on the expensive side. As for service, can’t really form an opinion as there was noone else really. There’s a cinema next door- a juicy burger and beer after a movie isn’t really a bad idea. Plus the decor, which is quite cool.

Spielburger may, from their menu, seem to be a nice burger place that provides simple and tasty food. However the burger was burnt, the chips were greasy and cold, and the chicken wings were dreadful. The order total was also close to £25 total- safe to say I will never be ordering from here again!

This restaurant is attached to the Everyman Cinema, and much like the cinema is ridiculously overpriced. The rustic theme does not work in this case, making the restaurant seem like a very budget pop up. Tables are all wobbly crammed into a small space, the acoustics are awful so its very loud snd the menu is very limited. The staff were friendly and attentive which the only thing the restaurant has going for it. If you're looking for a pre cinema dinner, go to the fish and chip restaurant nextbdoor!

The entrance to Speilberger from the Everyman cinema is almost unmarked and totally unassuming. The interior is a tad shabby, but I guess that’s how it’s supposed to be....however, the burgers were luscious moist tasty and full of real beef ( excepting the bacon slice which was crisp and perfectly cooked). The skins-on fries were well salted and the food arrived hot, and all four of us were served simultaneously. That’s a bonus in this day in an age of mass catering.

Burger bun was dry like it had been warmed up and sitting somewhere for ages afterwards. Tasteless, couldn't see it in the cinema (maybe just as well) suspect it was overcooked. Dry inside, no sauce. V disappointing especially considering cost."Cheesey truffle fries" were just normal fries with some dry parmesan grated on. No taste of truffle, no melted cheese (like one would expect). The only good thing was the chocolate shake which earns the extra star. Otherwise, totally will never order this again.

Booked the Everyman cinema and popped into Spielburger for a quick bite. Despite having more than 5 empty tables our custom was turned away by a stressed out waitress who said "we just can't take any more tables at the moment". Can't review the food can only say don't rely on a venue having a restaurant next door. Disappointed as didn't want to eat whilst watching the movie.

Literally attached to the side of the Everyman cinema & hence easy to miss the entrance. The menu is 'just' burgers & fries, but they were very tasty. Smoked BBQ burger with bacon, and the chicken burger both went down well. I must say, I was also fond of the Longhorn IPA too. Great pre movie quick dinner. The diner is clean, but has a basic & factory feel to it. Would definitely do this again.

Just Eat, offered a lovely breakfast for 2 people on a sunny December day. So after having a look on the offer, I decided to get 2 chai latte, 2 Orange-juice and 2 English Breakfast for almost i believe hotel Price of £29,90. After waiting almost an hour the app showed ready for collection, when of course it should be delivered! So, I try to call the restaurant to clarify the situation and explain that I’m just out of the bed and want to surprise my girl. But he answers straight up- I ticked the collection button so it’s my fault! If I want it delivered I have to pay an additional £15 for delivery. So I asked kindly, how we make it work?? But the only way is pay £15 or pick up. So I started a lovely sunny weekend with a donation of £29,90 to the worst service provider of the year!👍

Erin dealt with a faulty payment system a couple of weeks ago - no payments were going through but she dispensed free coffee and took orders over the app to keep the customer base happy. But Erin is gone now. And in her place is sour faced Khwaja and his colleagues who wouldn't smile if you paid them to. When I went in with a complimentary drinks coupon on the Gails app they dispensed a small size without asking and when asked for a plate on a busy day was just given cutlery. When there was water spilt on the furniture by the previous customer was handed tissues to wipe it myself. The service sucks.

My friends and I went there for a drink, they had a number of tables and booths to sit in. We ordered our drinks via the app, and waited over 10-15 mins for it.. so I went to check at the main till, they were busy serving pints which is understandable but they didn’t acknowledge the order I made, it was just hanging off the printer. Eventually we were served our drinks after flagging it up. To add to the slow service, the pub stinks of cigarette smoke. It didn’t feel like it was coming from outside but from the vents. So not great for non smokers who just want a drink and chill.
