Caffe Nero in City of London, Westminster

Great coffee and lovely staff. However, since becoming dog friendly the relaxation element I associate with going for coffee has declined rapidly. I now have to contend with dogs whining, barking and growling and on a regular basis. Can owners at least be made aware of a duty to keep dogs under control? Perhaps a notice can be displayed somewhere?

I have visited Weston Super Mare, Cafe Nero on many occasions and the Toilets are always the same, Dirty and Disgusting and I don't use them out of choice. Please somebody sort them out and Covid situation is no excuse for dirty toilets.

Sutton coldfield So lunch time i decided after a crap morning off horrid emails i would pop and have a coffee so i went into Nero I asked for the table to be cleaned to my horror I was told to clean it my self Grrrrrrr wasnt the word I used NERO never again

I had the pleasure of being served by the rudest, pedantic person ( dark hair male early thirties) ever in the Liverpool Castle St branch ...wow Absolutely disgusting behaviour, I will being take my custom elsewhere . If you want a good coffee and good customer service Pret is on the next corner of Castle st / Lord St.

Worst customer service ever the staff are rude aggressive The company serves cold coffee and their scanner to scan the free coffee app never works And instead of manually inserting the number to which they are to lazy to do Avoid cafa nero at all costs

I had a problem with this company in February which ended with myself having to cancel my bank debit card. A lady from the head office called me and we had a good chat and I was told my details would be removed and I would get 40 coffee vouchers. I agreed and the vouchers came by way of guaranteed delivery. In May it came to my attention that my details had not been removed as I was receiving unwanted emails. After explaining all to head office I received an email stating how confused Caffe Nero was as I had been banned from the Maidstone branch and I had never been sent 40 vouchers. I have never been to Maidstone or have I ever been banned from anywhere. Caffe Nero has slandered my name. I am a well know author, historian, broadcaster and features writer and what has happened is not acceptable.

I have been drinking coffee in caffe Nero for many years. The quality of the coffee has always been better than their competitors but their food has always been quite poor for the gross amount of money they charge. What the company has been disgracefully getting away with for years is the worst, rudest and most objectionable rabble of staff that even the cheapest back end greasy spoon cafe would blush with embarrassment by. Caffe Nero have always gotten away with not giving their staff, mangers and even area mangers 0 training in customer service, dealing in a normal or civil manner with their customers or behaving in a professional manner instead of petty, stroppy, rude teenagers. In the years I have gone to caffe Nero I have been subjected to or witnessed a few situations were I or the other customers should have taken the company to court for slander, aggressive, rude behaviour and worse tampering with custoemers drinks. I have endured extremely rude and aggressive manager from Lebanon, a Kosovan manager in my ear shot make the most outrageous comments amount my conduct in general life to her staff which I should have taken the company to court over especially as I had never bothered to engage this petty poisonous women in conversation. Now it is even worse. Caffe Nero now have a very lazy policy of block hiring teams of "students" from meditarainian countries especially Italy. Italy is a fantastic company and the people in general are great. My point is if I was in a cafe or restaurant and the entire group of staff had formed a juvenile clique were they refused completely to speak English, stand around, do nothing, be frosty and hostile to customers and worst slag off and say the most awful things about customers in their language (not caring to think Italian isn't Swahili and customers like me understand enough) I would implore NO one to go there! This situation is happening in more and more caffe Nero's including sadly the one I used to enjoy apart from the above reasons for going into. Caffe Nero don't care as they have recently prompted to my horror the manager of the rabble at my local caffe Nero to head office. If caffe Nero don't sort things out an incident or incidents will occur that will severely damage their repution as a decent coffee chain. As court cases due to poor staff behaviour towards customers is inevitable.

Visited Cafe Nero in Russell square with family and friends on 19th August. Cost, great service and staff friendly. Location really lovely, close to Russell park.

Nice cappuccino although could have been stronger. Service was good and staff nice. Good spot for a quick hot drink on a rainy day like today 13/06/2016.

Popped in for a coffee, tend not to go franchise, but I did and it was no different for me than any other chain. Staff were slightly slow, couldn't work out who was to be served next, moved me from till to till, but it's not that service was bad, more annoying. Coffee was ok. Not bad, but not great either. Luke warm also, but I didn't want to be a type that said extra hot milk. Because? I shouldn't have to. Hot milk should be normal

Caffe Nero is the UKs favourite Coffee chain apparently. I can't attest to that, but I did enjoy my Milano hot chocolate. I love a nice thick hot chocolate and Caffe Nero do the best on the high street in my opinion!

Never been to Caffe Nero's before but was pleasantly surprised with it. Went to this one and one in covent garden. Both places looked inviting and clean. Lots of business people and was busy. The counter had lots of muffin and cakes etc. I had a hot chocolate and was asked if I d like cream on top, which I did. An OMG moment came when first I saw it and second I tasted it. Very very chocolaty which was nice and down stair was a more chilled out and relaxed atmosphere.

Yes its just a Caffe Nero I hear you say, however this is about the excellent service we received from the three guys working there on the two mornings we stopped in for coffee and cakeThe service was that good that this location was not even on Trip Advisor but I have gone to the trouble of adding itThe three guys were cheerful, worked like a team and very well organised, something other similar coffee shops could do to learn from.I was even impressed when one went on his break, he put on a jacket to cover his uniform as he sat at a table, which is good, but he spilled some of his drink on the floor and instead of just sitting down, he went and got paper towels to clean it up before he sat down for his break, again elsewhere they would have just left itSo well done guys it shows that you can be organisedVisited on the morning of the 3rd and 4th August
