The Henry Holland in City of London, Westminster

Went to the Henry Holland for a drink with some work colleagues, first drink out in almost a year and we got seated upstairs. A group of 3 middle aged/elderly ladies sitting near us took offence to our volume and apparent high morale and reported to the landlord that one out or group flashed his penis ( didn’t happen) with one side of the story we were then refused service and the other party left the bar anyway. Bar staff were fine.Won’t be back tho.The also had CCTV that could have been checked but wasn’t.

When Frank ran the place circa 95 the place was amazing. Good food, great beer, excellent service.. He was an amazing man. Then, another guy took over. Big burly rude idiot that sacked his Eastern European bar maids IF they didn't follow his very specific requests in the basement beer cellar, allegedly.. I used to work locally and 1 of my employees worked for him. He was a bully and allegedly fired girls if they didn't perform his bidding.. By the way, if you are reading this, you'd better think yourself lucky that a formal complaint wasn't made. I'm sure karma will catch up with you.

It’s a very average pub with some really nice staff. Big let down is the toilets. The smell through a face mask was revolting . Truly hideous . Wonder what the cleanliness is like else where

Bueno, tengo muchas cosas bonitas y honestas que decir sobre este lugar. En primer lugar, Nadia, que dirige el pub, es una dama cálida increíble y amable que va más allá para ayudarte. Incluso subió y más allá de ayudarnos a conseguir una mesa en un restaurante en el que era tan difícil entrar. Aparecimos mientras nuestro hijo estaba comprando en Selfridges para tomar una bebida descarada rápida y las bebidas eran hermosas, vino rosado ruborizado y terminamos quedándonos por algunos más, el amable personal del bar nos recibió tanto que pasamos la tarde allí. Después de que Nadia nos ayudó a conseguir una reserva para la cena, volvimos a nuestro hotel y nos preparamos para la cena e incluso volvimos a tomar otra copa antes de cenar. Dominic, el encantador barman, era un joven maravilloso con una mansión muy agradable y una conversación amistosa. Mi hijo cumplirá 18 años en 3 semanas y Nadia incluso dijo que era bienvenido para tomar su primer trago allí para celebrar y que tiene la intención de aceptarlo si puede tener el día libre en el trabajo. En general, opte por el amable y acogedor personal del bar que lo dejará con una sonrisa en la cara.

This was the worst pub I’ve ever been to. The woman was the rudest person I have ever met. Stay away, stay safe. If I could give this place minus points I would.

Apareció en Central para una tarde de cita para ver las luces de Navidad. Después de una visita muy ocupada de Selfridges, encontramos este pequeño y encantador Pub de Londres. Ambiente acogedor, asientos y se sentó para una bebida navideña. Decidí pedir comida. Hamburguesa era muy sabrosa y mi otra mitad tenía el pescado y las patatas fritas y dijo que era muy agradable. Dama camarera muy amable. He leído las críticas anteriores que parecían variadas pero definitivamente volveremos.

Tanto yo como mi esposa fuimos a este encantador pub de LONDRES por primera vez ayer, nos pareció muy limpio, personal amable y propietario. Tomamos algunas bebidas y comidas, la comida estaba caliente y tan encantadora. Definitivamente volveremos pronto. Gracias a todos en The Henry Holland. Feliz Navidad y todo lo mejor para 2020.

Este pub es un ícono para el personal y los clientes de Selfridges. Slap bang enfrente de la tienda es una verdadera joya en el corazón del West End de Londres. Hay una gran selección de cervezas y licores. Un vaso de efervescencia siempre se llena hasta arriba.Una gran mezcla de visitantes transitorios y pop en locales. Siempre una cálida bienvenida y una despedida amistosa.Este alcohol no va a ganar premios por la decoración, pero lo compensa en su forma única de estar en el lugar correcto todo el tiempo. Si planea matar media hora mientras la otra mitad está acumulando la factura de la tarjeta de crédito, ¡esto es para usted! !

Llamé de camino al fútbol para beber y comer, ya que tuvimos que cambiar el metro en Bond Street, ordenó Fish n Chips y un Pie n Chips.¡El arrendador nos trae comida con un paño ya que los platos están muy calientes! ! ! ! . Parecía absolutamente delicioso. Procedimos a comer y nuestras dos porciones de guisantes todavía estaban congeladas. Se quejó y luego INCREÍBLEMENTE, el Arrendador metió los Dedos en las dos porciones de guisantes para verificar y luego dijo "Los enviaría de vuelta a la Cocina para calentarlos RE". Pidió nuestro dinero de vuelta y se fue. Si el propietario hace ese frente de la casa, ¿qué pasa en la cocina? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

If you need to escape the craziness of Oxford Street, this place does sport and a standard limited food menu, had a generous sized ham, egg and chips

Caminamos mucho hasta que nuestros pobres pies sufrieron un refrescado tan placentero con un rociador y medio para la otra mitad en este pub de Londres, justo enfrente de Selfridges. Tamaño pequeño, pero espacio para sentarse en parejas de dos o más, o incluso en el bar si deseaba las bromas del personal. Buen servicio jovial del personal alegre y un buen baño limpio.

Service truly friendly. Fish 🐠 and chips truly excellent... 🌺 Fresh and hot. The nachos were terrible but OK to share. The pub has a very good feeling. Good value too. I would go back def.

What an AMAZING place!! I’ve been in a few times on my way home from work and out of all the pubs I’ve been in in London it’s is definitely the best!!

No hay nada destacado en este pub o incluso algo que sea muy bueno, pero tampoco es un lugar terrible para pasar una o dos horas. Tuve el pescado y las patatas fritas y estaban bastante bien. La cerveza también estaba bien. El personal era bastante bueno y la decoración en sí me gustó mucho. Estuve aquí en la cuasi recomendación de un amigo y estaba bien para mí.

Petit pub typique en plein cœur de Londres à côté d’Oxford street. Les fish and chips, plat traditionnel, sont plutôt bons et copieux ( petits pois, frites, sauce tartare pour accompagner un poisson pané entier ) et la salade de chèvre chaud est bonne également même s’il manque un peu de pain sous le fromage par rapport à la taille de ce dernier.

Went here after shopping to enjoy a few drinks, after around 10-15 minutes of sitting down the guy started to move all the chairs and stack them which made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. Even though it was half 7 and they shut at 8. They then rang the last orders bell and around minutes later rang that the was closing and you couldn’t place anymore orders. Which is fair enough but then they didn’t give you time to even drink your drinks.

Popped in for a drink after shopping. I found the decor cosy and the price for a glass of Prosecco and a single vodka an lemonade not bad at £10. All the furniture is high stools not low chairs which I always find a shame. Anyway. While seated and drinking we saw the bar man removing all the stools from around the empty tables and stacking them in the window... in between 2 tables who’s occupants became more and more squashed. The chap at the table opposite us left due to the disruption. It became clear they wished to close the pub at 8pm. It was by now 7.30pm. Last orders was rung at 7.30. At 7.40 my daughter went upstairs to the toilet. As soon a she was out of sight the barman removed her chair. At 7.45 he came to clear my empty glass, stood looking at my daughters non empty glass and asked her if she had finished her drink. He then stood there waiting while she finished her drink. We hurriedly left. My sympathies are with the remaining customers that were still trying to finish their drinks.

Le cadre est so english pub. Les serveuses très sympas... La bière est fraiche et le fish'n fish... probably the best in London. Il est servi avec des petits pois, c'est bon! Une très belle halte à quelques mètres du chaos d'Oxford Street!

Went in there after shopping at oxforf street, very rude foreign staff who doesnt want you in. Threat me like i didnt was welcome.

Everything is as you would expect from a pub which opens till late - they serve drinks and people chat to each other with an ocasional awkward dance. The pub does have a strange policy when it comes to their last call, serving drinks until 00:55 - which is fair enough, as long as you give people time to finish their last drink. However, Toothless Nadia made absolute sure that this did not happen. At 00:55, she began yelling for everyone to get out of the Pub, making rude comments to the customers (called someone’s friend a f*****g w*****r), and removing drinks which were still full. When we asked to speak to the manager regarding her rudeness, we were shocked when the other employees confirmed that she was indeed the manager. There is nothing that we could do regarding her behaviour that night, so I have decided to leave this review for her. Nadia, I hope you’re employees started a revolution against you when we left, and you have been rightfully let go of your duties as the worst manager of any pub I have had the pleasure of knowing.

Enjoying our drinks on this very busy Saturday evening ( around 20:00 ). Very busy with Christmas shoppers. Excellent atmosphere listening to the Christmas songs ( last time every one was singing and dancing ). Staff are great

Decent pub. Plenty of choice of ales. Well pulled pint. Friendly bar staff. Would definitely recommend.

It was cold and wet, we were footsore after our trip to the Natural History Museum, and coming out of Bond Street station this was the first pub we saw. How serendipitous. We went in to find high tables and stools, but when I said I didn't like high stools the young man (Mark) and woman behind the bar said, no trouble, proper tables and chairs upstairs. So up we went. Only people up there to start, but young Mark took our drink orders, brought them up, took our food orders, chatted about all sorts and was generally one of the best things about this pub. We only wanted a snack as were going out for dinner later, so our ploughman's, which we shared, with chips on the side, was ideal. We shared a bottle of wine (Mark very kindly sourcing an Australian bottle for us!) and had a lovely rest before going back to our hotel. Lots more people came in after and the level of service was exceptional. Lots of friendly banter, and if we'd had longer I could see us settling in for the afternoon (even though there wasn't a tv for the football - which would be a plus for some people!).

Eaten here several times and the fish and chips are advertised as "London's Best Fish & Chips (Probably)". It is true, they are very, very good and certainly a true competitor to the Golden Hind which is often quoted as being the best fish and chips in London. Eaten at both places and it is really very close.

Rude & unpleasant owner. Avoid. Was told 'not to lean against his pub' as I waited for my friends to arrive. Unsurprisingly we went to a different pub and will not he returning.

Located alongside Selfridges we popped in for lunch after being at an event there. There were four of us, two from the US who wanted British fish and chips so we were attracted by the sign outside which claimed to probably be the best fish and chips in London. It may not have been the absolute best, but it was pretty good, with good-sized portions served on warmed plates, and we had an enjoyable lunch. The Manager helpfully found us a table and service was pretty quick.

Ok for a quick pint. Staff lack some professionalism. Food not up to scratch but a good pub for a drink. If you want proper food go elsewhere this is more fast food.

As other reviewers have commented the staff at this establishment are the worst I have come across in many years.

Pensamos que necesitábamos para descansar las piernas después de caminar al otro lado de los Jardines de Kensington y Hyde Park a Oxford Street. Un poco decepcionante realmente como taburetes sólo en el bar. Razonable gama de cervezas pero el melancólico bar le faltaba el sabor típico y es ligeramente ácidas. No es una buena señal. Hacen una buena taza de café!

I visited the pub this evening, my partner left his hat behind, a red knitted hat that his grandmother had made, we called up no more than 20 mins after. The person that answered clearly couldn’t be bothered, they told me their shift was over and they had no idea who I was and said there was no chance of getting the hat back and I should call the central line but gave me no number. They clearly couldn’t even bothered and as a result the hand knitted hat that my partner’s elderly grandmother had made will now live in lost property forever.

Un cartel fuera dijo "probablemente el mejor pescado y patatas fritas en la ciudad", así que lo probamos y fue absolutamente el mejor que tuvimos en Londres durante un viaje de 2 semanas. La porción es lo suficientemente grande para compartir el almuerzo. Lo recomiendo...

The sign says outside the it has the best fish and chips (probably). SO I had the fish and chips. Chips were ok 5/10 fish had no flavour as if it had been frozen 1/10.

Un pub acogedor que terminan en un día lluvioso. El personal del bar era muy amable. Mi pescado y patatas fritas era bastante bueno, pero la ayuda de mi amigo no estaba bien preparado. Cuando nos dijeron que el personal inmediatamente enviaron de regreso y mi amigo disfrutó su pescado de reemplazo y patatas fritas. También nos dieron bebidas gratis. Servicio excepcional. They couldn't find a clean glass for my drink - so drank from the bottle with a straw. No coffee either. Beer was not very good. The worst thing was the bar staff. Eating chips behind the bar while they served completely disinterested in customers or hygiene. Disgusting. Avoid

Been twice-maybe due to the sign outside stating the "best" fish and chips in town, my expectations were high, they were nonetheless good. Today I had a burger and although understated it was very very good. My only slight perplexion is price of drinks.

Just off Oxford Street, this serves very good pub grub and the best pint of cold Heineken I have had in London. Believe me, I've tried a few!

On a busy Saturday, dragging my heels around Oxford Street (I am not a great shopper!!!), we sort of fell off the beaten track and discovered this place, boasting 'The best fish and chips in London (Probably)', so, we had to try! We were warmly greeted upon entry, although the downstairs area was packed, we were informed there was more seating upstairs, so up we trundled. We were served quickly by a waitress called Nadia who took a drinks order and returned quick as a flash with drinks, and ready to take our order. I had to challenge the Fish and Chip statement. The other people in my party ordered Ham, Egg and Chips and the Bacon and Brie Baguette. The food came quite quickly and didn't disappoint! The fish and chips were brilliant and the portion size more than sufficient. The serving of Ham was great and the baguette superb. The presentation of the food was of a high standard and I cannot speak highly enough.I have to say, Nadia, who served us was absolutely BRILLIANT! Her customer service, attention to detail and sense of humour made this visit even more special. Whilst her presence wasn't overpowering, it was there when needed and ready to engage in conversation with my parents, especially my Dad, who's dry sense of humour does take a lot of getting use to, she was brilliant. We left happy, full and ready to face the afternoon!!! Sometimes, stumbling along hidden gems like this make your trip that little bit more special!Thanks to Nadia and the team for a great lunch.

Okay pub close to Oxford Street. Not that many beer of choice, but okay and cold. Good chips. Did not try out the food.

No frills pub but still suffers from central London prices. Classic "Ye Olde English" style for tourists but a decent selection of lagers on tap, not much in the way of real ales. Menu for food is very good and reasonably priced, a good place to stop off for some lunch. Very small but quaint inside. Not bad at all, decent.

Freezing cold day, saw the sign "best fish and chipseafood in town" (probably). Big statement to make in London,so I draggged my reluctant daughter in.The atmosphere inside was warm and welcoming and quite busy. We made ourselves comfortable and I went up and ordered 2 ciders and an order of fish and chips, with an extra order of chips, daughters a vego,can be challenging. I asked the barman if they did have the best fish and chips, with a slight smile he looked at me and said 'probably'.When the fish and chips arrived,the chips were in a metal basket well presented,side of peas and a well presented piece of fish.The batter of the fish was light and not over cooked. The fish was perfect,fresh and lightly cooked it feel apart, fantastic.Not sure if it was the best fish and chips in Town the Golden Hind gives them a run for there money,there chips could be a bit better, but it was up there with some of the best I'very tried. The service was also very good. Great London Pub.

We were visiting London from Yorkshire and were on Oxford street so thought would try a great looking traditional British pub. What a disappointment. beer was average and service non descript. No Christmas cheery welcome here. clearly the place just picks up trade on passers by, no returning customers I could have thought. Given it three stars as to be fair someone sat next to us was eating and the food looked good. If you have found this useful, please hit the helpful vote. Thank you.

Stopped in for a couple of beers and couldn't believe how unfriendly the bartenders were. To make matters worse one of them knocked over a whole pint splashing it all over my husband's coat, pants, shoes etc. and barely apologized. Definitely NOT nice.

With the run up before the Christmas season shopping - only two weeks till Christmas - it is very busy on this Saturday evening. We are Enjoying our drinks , Full of Selfridges & Oxford Street Christmas Shoppers and may be few tourists. Fully staffed , thus the service is very prompt.

Whenever I have a shopping trip to Oxford Street I always have lunch in this traditional pub. The food is excellent pub food, well cooked and well presented by friendly staff. I always manage to get a seat upstairs where it is quieter and am never disappointed with my visit.

There are a gazillion pubs in London. Most of the time, one seems no better a choice than any other. The Henry Holland is an exception. Madeline, the proprietor is an exceptional host and their selection of beers, bitters, ales, wines...all great. Ask her for a brief history of the place, and she can tell you about the German Buzz Bomb that struck the front half of the pub during the Blitz. They rebuilt it, of course!

We found this pub after leaving Oxford street and visited it twice whilst in London for the week. Staff were friendly and helpful. Worth stopping for drink if you need rest between shopping.

Beware going into this pub! Overcharged. The barman made up the price for two drinks in his head, no price list on show either, which is not right. He guessed the price then said he made a mistake & added a pound. The same two drinks round the corner was almost £3 cheaper.

I stumbled across this pub by accident and I am jolly glad I went in. The London Pride was excellent but the lunch was even better.I had bangers and mash and had a foreign friend with me so I was keen for him to eat some quality British food and this place did not disappoint. Proper butchers sausages, creamy home made mash and thick gravy. It was delicious.For £12 you will struggle to eat better in central London.

Having got a bit tired of following my Daughter &,Granddaughter around the shops in Oxford street and before they decided to go to Selfridges store we found this pub in Duke street across from Selfridges as the perfect spot to "settle" in, while the girls went into Selfridges....On entering the pub you notice the solid wood interior and high bar stools albeit there are other seating areas.Initially we ordered (girls included) 3 drinks as my Granddaughter didn't request one, 1 pint "Kronenborg" lager, 1 pint of Stella "Cidre" and a small glass of white wine which cost £15 approx. An average cost of £5 per drink which seemed slightly pricey for a pub but then again it is in central London on a main shopping area.The staff were very attentive and served us with a smile even though they were very busy,The girls headed out and across street into Selfridges. Aside - some 4 to 5 pints later the girls returned. They did their shopping and we men did our drinking. An excellent afternoon in a nice pub..

Stumbled across this little pub around the Marble Arch/Oxford street area on Saturday 19th March.Had a drink and a spot of lunch, the bar maid was very friendly, smiley and happy and delivered great service. Lunch my husband had a chicken burger and I had a ham baguette, food was very reasonably priced but quality wasn't compromised, the ham was really nice good quality and plenty of it also came with crisps and a side salad.My husband also said his burger and chips was lovely and it looked very appetising.There was lots of the usual pub grub to choose from. Got served straight away and didn't have to wait too long for the food either. Only down side is all the chairs were high bar stools which were not the most comfortable of things! Definatly worth a visit, great service, reasonably priced and good food!

Nipped in here for a lunch time drink, break from shopping ! Fab atmosphere, sixties music playing, small and quaint pub. The staff were really friendly and the food looked lovely although we didn't eat Definitely worth a visit.

Popped in here on the off chance and what a nice pub. Very friendly bar staff and large baguettes, filled with things like goat`s cheese and seared peppers, brie or tuna. It was a very popular venue for Saturday lunch. Serves Doombar. Would recommend.

We stopped in here after visiting the Wallace Collection, a few blocks away (don't miss the Wallace). We could sit upstairs in the restaurant or downstairs in the pub. We chose the pub as it was cozier and seemed more British,We started off with beers . . . Stella for one friend, Stella Cidre for the other . . . and I had Foster's Super Cold . . . it was super cold, too. One friend had a grilled chicken sandwich w/chips . . . boring, I know but she's dieting. The other chose steak and ale pie with mashed potatoes, carrots, and peas. I ordered the fish and chips with green peas. We were all happy with our choices and everything was delicious. This all came to £50 ($72.50).

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a welcome few drinks while out shopping. I didn't eat but the food looked amazing, I cant wait for my next shopping trip and will be popping in for a drink or two.

Right across from Selfridges on a side street just off Oxford Street, The Henry Holland is in a peach of a location. And don't they just know it. Lovely, inviting wood interior and a beer and wine selection out of 2002. If you can get excited about paying a fair whack for Heineken, Kronenbourg, London Pride or Yellow Tail then you'll love it here.

The Henry Holland is a convenient and authentic spot for a bite to eat while shopping. Time and again, I've enjoyed the same dish there: fish and chips (I visit once each time I take a city break in London).However, I became seriously ill after eating their fish and chips on Friday. Without going into detail, it was definitely the fish and chips which caused acute symptoms that kept me in bed for ca. 30 hours. Hopefully, this was a one-time occurrence; however, beware during the holidays. Perhaps the oil should be changed more often, or maybe the fish was dodgy. In any event, a disappointment.

It was my last day in London and I hadn't tried fish and chips, so when I saw the pub I said "let's try it". I went upstairs and the place was really comfortable and the ambience was great. I was served by a really nice Italian girl and the food arrived really quickly, which was good because I didn't have much time. I saw that the critics are not so good but, based on my experience, I highly recommend it.

A rare find these days, particularly in the West End. Its a boozer, and a blessed find for that reason alone, but its also an oasis in this part of London as it remains un-gentrified and unfussy. Loved by us that work close by that so need a haven from the rush and bustle of the West End. Great beers, and they serve the usual food although I have never eaten here.

Popped in to this pub after a work meeting, it was busyish. Ordered nachos (£8) and Heineken (£5) what i got was an ok pint, nothing special and store bought, low quality tortilla chips with poor quality cheese on top, burnt to beyond belief and then served with 3 sauces, all straight from the long life, non refrigerated, cash and carry jar, It was grim, never again and how anyone can pass this off as nachos I don't know.

Awful place and awful service. This place only survives because of the heavy foot fall of the area not because of the quality of the pub. Staff are rude and disinterested and judging by other reviews the landlord is completely unprofessional. I had a terrible experience here and will never return to this horrible place.

Myself and a group of gay male friends were thrown out of this pub for accidentally knocking a pint on the carpet. My friend apologised to the landlord who then proceeded to do a mocking 'camp' impression of my friends voice. He threatened "I know where you work! I'm a millionaire". Maybe not the best place to have a pint in the evening if you're clumsy or gay.

Friends accidentally spilled a pint on the carpet. When they apologised while trying to clean up, the landlord subjected him to a barrage of homophobic abuse and then threatened, "I know where you work! I'm a millionaire!" It is not acceptable to throw customers out for spilling glasses (i.e. an accident that can happen to anyone, especially as they were apologetic) and it is not acceptable to make homophobic comments when you are serving the public. Absolutely revolting behaviour.

After a long morning of shopping spree, its a nice setting that offers you with a cozy environment and good quality food. The staff is very efficient and service level is admirable!

Sehr nettes Pub mit freundlicher Bedienung. Nach etlichen km Fussweg und mit viel Durst kamen wir zu fünft ins Pub und freuten uns auf einen weißen Spritzer. Der Ober empfahl uns sofort eine Flasche Weisswein mit Mineralwasser, statt uns fünf Einzelgetränke zu verkaufen - ein Drittel günstiger!

We were shopping around the area and was thinking of what to have for lunch when we passed by this pub with a sign, 'Best Fish and Chips in London' ... Why not? We went in and was seated next to the window. We ordered a Caesar Salad and Fish and Chips - afterall, it says the 'Best Fish and Chips in London'. The salad was fresh, the fish and chips was good. I wouldn't say that it's the best in London but I dare say that it was one of the better ones in London. Fish was fresh and it was covered with loads of batter, like some other places. The chips were absolutely yummy! With vinegar and salt ... yum! I know how unhealthy it is ... oh well, it's not everyday ;)I believe the older guy is the owner and there was a waitress at that time ... both very friendly and attentive.We will definitely visit this place again ... :)

Was looking for a place to get a bite after a long flight, as i left Selfridges i saw a sign saying They have the best fish and chips (Probably)Decided to try it with my friend, small place with friendly staff, we picked the Fish and chips. it was one of the best Fish and chips i ever tried.Plate comes with a decent portion of fish ,a metal basket of chips and green peas on the side with sauce.was amazing food id recommend it to anyone passing there.

This pub is located in the heart of Mayfair. It has a good vibe, always playing great music. There is a baste selections of quality beers and the staff is always very friendly.It is spotlessly clean and has plenty of room if you want to sit down and relax. Great for the sport lovers as it has 2 big screens showing football, rugby, tennis and cricket.On the week end the pub closes a 1 am. One of my favourite so far...

With so many options and the world is really your oyster in central London... I popped into this characterless boozer opposite Selfridges. Nonchalant bar staff that came across as quite 'thick' and I know a lot of bar tenders who are certainly not and studying outside of a pint glass.This boozer certainly is unforgettable and will leave you with an empty experience...

quite average pub but their main merit is very late opening so quickly becomes sole option for a late drink in the area

i had the so called best fish and chips in town it was awful and paid over six pounds for a glass of Pinot it also was terrible it's no wonder it was empty at lunchtime

Very rude girl at counter with pink hair, drinks came to 9.90 she asked me to buy crisps to get over 10 minimum, I said just charge me 10. She suggested it was a good economy and I can afford it among other comments, rudest person served me in London... only coke here if u want attitude with u r drink

While their claim of the best fish and chips in London (probably) is a stretch even with the modifier, they do an OK job. What I really like is they stay open past 11P. It is hard to find a real pub other than hotel bars and a few hooka joints on Edgeware open. Last call is 2350. Cheers!The kitchen, however, is not open late. I stopped in for lunch last week but the crew had two pints here last night.

I went there yesterday with my sister. We have both been there before and the people in there are so friendly. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and we were both made to feel really welcome. It was nice to be greeted by the staff when we went in, we were found a seat (it is quite a small pub) and we sat for a while with a bottle of wine and watched the world go by. We didn't eat in there as it was the middle of the afternoon but they have an upstairs restaurant as well so there is more room for you to eat in.I would definitely recommend people give this pub a go for its' friendliness, cleanliness and good service. Well done to the people who work there and thank you for making us feel so welcome.
