The Distillers - Smithfield in City of London, Westminster

Este bar es ahora llamado en Bart's y es genial para los tragos después del trabajo, especialmente si va a trabajar por Bartolomeo ya que periódicamente dan NHS descuento!! Le habían hecho una renovación. A menudo tiene música en vivo y tiene un buen ambiente. Gran bar / comida de plato y para grupos.

Vivimos en una ciudad cervecera así que estábamos deseando degustación unas cuantas cervezas en este lugar publicidad en sí como un pub de cerveza. gran error ... indiferente, personal arrogante y sólo dos Cask ales. Después de una pinta nos fuimos cerveza - ni siquiera decente. Nos íbamos a alojar a comer, pero afortunadamente encontramos un restaurante encantador a pocas puertas de distancia donde nos hicieron sentir muy a gusto con una buena comida y el vino.

Tengo la hamburguesa o pescado y patatas fritas cada vez.

Nos dijeron que llega por 7 y esa cena sería rápidamente después. Por desgracia se había ido media 8 antes de los entrantes hizo una apariencia.

Habiendo mudado recientemente a la zona como parte de una oficina reubicación un colega y yo pensamos en probar este pub para un lugar de almuerzo como buena pinta desde fuera y menú parecía bueno. Una vez dentro nos tenía una pregunta que la camarera no podían responder y así que obtuvo su gerente que no podría haber sido más hospitalario. Éramos los únicos clientes allí y creo que ella no quería que nadie allí ya no podía creer lo desagradable que era. Una verdadera pena, ya que esperaba que hubiera sido el nuevo 'local'. Lo mejor de todo fue que notamos otros pubs en la caminata de regreso a la oficina que eran realmente bulliciosa así tener más opciones ahora.

Proper pub, fabulous real ale and delicious sausage sandwich. Recently taken over and I happened to have a chat with the guy who runs it as he was in checking the beers. Nice guy and with a great ethos, likes his real ales and wants things done right. Had a cracking pint of Hawkshead which tasted as good as when in the Lake District which shows how well the beer is cared for. Recommended he tries to get Mordue Brewery Workie Ticket so I'll have to force myself to come back and see if he has ;) Sandwich was lovely, lovely sausages which you would expect opposite Smithfield market. Ignore bad reviews and give it a try as he's working wonders with this place.

Me Decidí a mí mismo un capricho para un almuerzo en un pub el viernes 4 de octubre con un compañero de trabajo; había estado aquí un par de veces de bebidas, y unos pocos colegas hubiera mencionado para mí, la comida era buena.

Tenía 60 cumpleaños de mi marido aquí - en general, tuvimos una noche maravillosa todo el año. La comida estaba bien - aunque dijo que consumían carne fue realmente bueno! El servicio era excelente - muy servicial y atento. Muy buen ambiente - el pub estaba lleno para un jueves por la noche. He estado en otra ocasión (un sábado a mediodía) para ver el pub y fue bastante tranquilo (esperar porque es la ciudad ) . Sin duda, lo recomendaría a mis amigos y nadie y sin duda que volveré cuando estoy en Londres. :)

He estado yendo aquí sobre un mes desde el final del año pasado para comer un bocado para comer y tomar una cerveza.

decidimos visitar el pub porque está excelentes críticas para un almuerzo de viernes delicia. La comida era buena, aparte de ellos sin olvidar una de nuestras comidas y luego estar muy informal sobre cuando nos indicó.

Hemos celebrado recientemente nuestros hijos boda aquí y tengo que decir que el lugar fue transformado y también la comida era fantástico! Desde el principio hasta el final el personal fue excelente, y todo salió muy bien. La comida era realmente de primera clase, todas las opciones eran excelentes.

This place is really nice for after work drinks cause it's got a really nice buzzing feeling to it on a Friday evening, I would say the cocktails were a bit bland and watered down and had to wait quite a long time at the bar, but it was very busy.

We found ourselves with time to kill on a Friday evening before a restaurant booking... and fell in here for a drink. The room was spacious and not crowded considering it's a Friday. Were quickly served and found a comfortable table with plenty of elbow room. Eagerly anticipating my dinner I salivated at the sight of the heaps of chunky chips etc arriving at other tables. I enjoyed a drink here, giggled at the eclectic music mix and would happily return. Look forward to trying some of the food next time....

Had a good evening so far but just been freaked out by someone thinking a drip tray poured into a pint of bitter is okay. We've only been here 4 hours so I'm sure you thought treating us like dirt was acceptable.

Nice lunch, a bit limited menu but typical gastro pub quality and very good value for money. Convenient location to the Barbican where we walked from to avoid the over crowding nearer to centre. Nice atmosphere and good service, no complaints.

After seeing some negative reviews, I have to say, I wasn't expecting much! But was pleasantly surprised although not overwhelmed.The food was nice, but potions were quite small. Our waitress was very friendly, although the barman (think he may have been the manager?) was a little rude. The building was very cold - We kept our coats on. We used a tastecard so got 50% off food so was happy with that, wouldn't have been happy to pay full price though.

We went here one Friday night as we were looking for a great bar scene for a few drinks, but we also wanted to eat. The decor really is as gorgeous at it looks on the website, and with all their Halloween trimmings up the place had a fabulous atmosphere. The cocktails were 2-4-1 from 5pm to 8pm and all contained fresh fruit, and DJ played a great range of music. To eat I had a lovely, succulent home-made burger with some of the biggest chips I've ever seen! My husband had fish and chips and was pleased with that too. Would highly recommend if you like a noisy, happy, vibrant atmosphere - I loved it!

well my family and i chose this central london location for a catch up and we where very pleased that we didthe Sirloin was large and tender, with grerat onion rings and my girlfriend had the Paella which she said was great, my brothers loved their burger and there wine list was spot on for the food served.will definitely be going back herebtw ladies my gf says u have to check out the loos???

This wannabe gastropub provided good food with terrible service. I came here after work and was fairly impresssed with the decor. This is what you'd expect in an area like Smithfields. I sat down with my friends and we all ordered food at the bar. The barmaid was extremely rude and we hadn't even ordered yet. Once we got are food it was good, but after ordering several rounds at the bar and each time being treated terribly we will never go there again. Not worth it.

We went here for lunch as a family as we were celebrating a birthday. The menu isn't huge, and straight away we were told that 2/3 dishes were not being served. They didn't even have steak, which the 'birthday boy' was looking forward to so this was disappointing. We ordered anyway and had mixed opinions about the food. One of our party sent his food back as it wasn't hot and needed reheating. A couple of our party were impressed with theirs. My burger was OK but overcooked and the chips were dry and hard. We all agreed, however, that the food was way over priced. My burger was over ten pounds and I think mine was the cheapest meal which I thought was unreasonable considering it's essentially pub food. I'm not from London, so maybe this is average, but I thought it was over-priced.The decor of the place is nice, a mixture of contemporary and good old tired pub style. Our barman/waiter was pleasant and friendly, so we can't fault the service, though it took a while for the food to come out. Overall I would not visit again unless going for a drink.
