Taboon in Barnet

Been going to Taboon on/off for almost 20 years, service can be a bit confusing and can be very unwelcoming to people who aren't from a certain religion - but as a rule I never let terrible racial abuse come between me and good falafel!

Terrible Staff and very Ignorant Made an order and said i was coming from East London to collect. When i got there the staff member said I put thim in the basket earlier and somebody else must had bought them. Said he would give me the alternative for the same price as what i had ordered. Went to pay and colleague said we cant do that. Would not had come otherwise. Rubbish service and Useless staff and No customer service

Very very disappointed to get home and find that my usual packet of pita breads have shrunk by about thirty percent but still at the original price. Not only am I getting a much smaller pita it also means that it takes a smaller amount of filling.

Very well run restaurant. Very clean . Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic fish and chips. Great selection of salads. Tasty falafel. Reasonable prices . Would recommend.

Upon my next vist to Taboon Golders Green I found them very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help me with my order . Smiles all round and the food was excellent . I was happy to have good service this time round .

Great little find in North London. Super friendly service, great food, a mix of israeli and some tasty indian dishes too. don’t forget to buy the Pita bread before you leave.

I ordered chips and brought a bag of pita bread I paid by card sat and ate it and as I was waiting for a cab at the door . The same person that took my money shouted in front of all the customers had I paid for very thing When it was him that took the money from me . .I was shocked when his friends in the shop also started shouting abuse at me .I used to love eating their but coustomer service is not what it used to be plus it didn’t help as I am black and I could see the angry dripping out of the 6foot male Customers that abuse me Verbally.

We went to Taboon after such a long time. The owners and the layout have changed but they still make their own pita bread which is still the same best quality. We were served by Asher who was very welcoming and friendly. He filled the pita bread with falfel and sald to our taste. We also had chips. Thoroughly enjoyed the falfel in puta and the chips Would definitely recommended going to Taboon for the.best falfel in Londom

Was looking forward to going to Taboon, however, won't be returning again. The place was run by some youngsters, who were too busy entertaining their friends (one was even vaping in the restaurant). The dining tables were not even clean with used pizza packaging left on the table and not even cleared. The tables were not even clean. I had to wipe down the table I was sitting on. The bins were overflowing and the staff were busy either on their phones or chatting with the friends. The hygiene rating for this place only deserves 1. It looked like a hangout for youths. May be trading standards need to visit the place it is a health hazard

I went to pick up a takeaway Falafel in Pita and a slice of pizza at Taboon. The falafel is extremely good and the pizzer was a huge slice. Customer service is great. Really good falafel and pizza. They also have fish and chips but I'll try this maybe another time. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The prices are good and I would highly recommend Taboon.

Love watching a waste of space sever you good who isn’t wearing a mask. Doesn’t know how to wear a res t-shirt and touching his face than food. As always 1 person in front of me and waiting 8+ minutes to be severed is a joke! I look forward to the business going burst!

last time i been in taboon was few years back not sure which one is better , old taboon or under the new owner but my only msg to the new owner , he need to increase the stuff in order to get better service and not to be so stingy . one young guy serving 5 customers at ones is too much . the food was not bad if you hungry , only the frise was not what i expected . the falafel was ok , although i still prefer Pita , but for cheap eating i think taboon is no. 1 in hendon and GG . very good value for money , the young guy who served me today was excellent

before walking into the shop there were 2 boys hanging out blocking the entrance which made me feel very uncomfortable. after ordering the teenage boy who looked about 17 left outside to join his friends. I was shocked! I took a container and started filling it with pickles and when i wanted more, i had to wait for him to come back into the shop and then the reply was 'sorry but we have closed the fridge'. what is that supposed to mean when it was said at 5pm? so, it came to paying and i asked for a receipt and he said the receipt printer was broken! i cant complain about the food but the service is just pathetic! A terrible experience and i dont think i will be going again.

I have been visiting for over 10 years and they definitely have one of the best falafels in London. Prices are great compared to some of the other similar shops in the area and falafels are so yummy. Definitely recommend.
