Haggerston Expresso Room - HER in Hackney

Hugely disappointed by the staff's behaviour, the lady at the till, called me rude in front of the whole queue. Please do not go there if you respect yourself.

Pasé cuatro horas aquí ayer, trabajar en el ordenador portátil. El personal era amable y servicial, el té era precioso y la variedad de tortas fue excelente. La comida vi saliendo parecía delicioso, y la conexión wifi era confiable para casi toda la cuatro horas. Bien merece una visita si estás en la zona.

Visit HER regularly and really enjoy their oat Milk lattes. The service is always friendly and great. Great place for a coffee.

Personal están tratando muy duro para ser guay tienen congelados y no puedo levantar una sonrisa. La cocina es abierta y nunca incluso si quieres comprar un artículo caro comida no puede. Pasteles ligeramente rancio y nada es cubierto. Realmente hay gente por aquí! gérmenes Dentro de ido pasando boho y resultó deteriorada. Me quede con la clara sensación de l no era el tipo de persona en particular bienvenida establecimiento.

I stumbled upon this cafe whilst exploring Haggerston on a Sunday. Thought it looked cool when I glanced through the window and I'm glad I chose to go inside. I wanted a small cafe where I could do some work on my laptop. I chose the window seat and I enjoyed my experience. It was quiet when I was there so was easy to get on with my work. I recommend if you want a cafe where you can use your laptop to do work etc - better than doing it at places like Costa or Starbucks!

I go a few times each week and the coffee is always good. The service has never been too slow for me. Long live HER!!

A veces me dan mi café y un desayuno rápido desde aquí de camino a su trabajo; los bocadillos saludables y sentir son sabrosas y el café está muy bien. Me dan mi café desde aquí más a menudo, pero el servicio es bastante lento, y en las mañanas cada minuto cuenta!

Una buena rutina de café, sirve consistentemente y llevado a su mesa! Junto con un simple y agradable para comer cosas sabrosas. Aunque limitada sin duda muy bien pensado y presentado como si ha sido cuidada. Bonito local favorito para un descanso y una conexión wifi si lo necesitas.

Normalmente me vienen un par de veces a la semana por mi café ya que trabajo muy cerca y con independencia de que algunos de los comentarios anteriores el personal ha sido siempre muy sonriente y amable conmigo. Cuando está lleno, se puede tomar un poco más tiempo para hacer el café, como sólo hay un hombre allí, pero por lo general son bastante rápido. También utilizan Café climpson y es uno de mis favoritos!!

Pequeña cafetería con gran ventana frente mirando hacia una calle transitada, mesas refectorio, algunos sofás viejos pero gran café y pastelería sirve de selección. Popular entre los lugareños, la barba para los hombres no obligatorio, pero preferimos, sólo portátiles Apple. Co-marketing marcos de bicicleta en las paredes, pero no había señales de ruedas o cómo comprar uno. Parada aquí para tomar un café y ver a la gente

It's such a shame to write such a negative view because the food and dessert that were available were delightful. The service is unbelievably slow and the staff are INCREDIBLY unfriendly (bar one pleasant member of stuff). They almost seemed annoyed that we were there to buy a coffee? Not to mention that dirty plates and mugs are just left to build up on the tables all day!! I had to clear them up myself from the previous guests. The interior leaves much to be desired and almost looks like a half done job (not in the trendy sense). I don't recommend going here - I've never felt so unwelcome!

Went for a chilled out weekend brunch, unique magazines spread for perusal, great smoothie and gorgeous poached egged on toast with avocado and vine tomatoes. Eclectic shoreditch vibe without the pretention. Possibly my fav coffee shop so far in London.

The coffee is not that impressive, and the staff seem frustrated to see customers, as if they don't want to make money. I was overcharged, and when I politely pointed this out, I was told it wasn't a mistake, and when I explained I was not happy about this, the manager sought to dodge responsibility and avoid the matter by accusing me of being a racist. I don't care where she was born - all I wanted to do was drink a coffee for the price advertised!

I love coffee and appreciate that creating one, a good one takes time. However, these guys seem to have made waiting into an art form. I had to wait almost 10 minutes for a very basic coffee and yet the queue was small when I arrived. Combine that with high prices and you have a reason for trying any of the other establishments in the immediate area who can provide great coffee, but can do so without it taking an absolute age.

Great coffee and loved food. Only feedback would be that the music kept on changing and was quite loud.

As a local I want to like this place. Unfortunately it's truly dire in every way. I can make coffee quicker myself than the sloooooow motion hipsters in here. Coffee is poor, cakes are mass produced and stale.. Every time I give this place just one more try... It disappoints.

The service isn't friendly first thing in the morning. The staff are as asleep as the customers and considering we're all there for the same thing, coffee, smile.If doing take-away there is no dedicated counter to add sugar, just a weird shelf thing. The coffee is expensive and a large coffee just has more milk but no extra shot. If I order a larger coffee I want more caffeine not more milk.The pastries are self serve (big no no. Display yes but don't let customers prod and poke)The place is trying to do shabby chic which just comes off as half done.It seems that the place is trying to be Berlin with a touch of Barcelona cool. It's neither and comes across as a half-hearted attempt at cashing in on the now saturated East London coffee house theme.

I live in the area and have had the misfortune of visiting this café a few times now, but I will not be returning. I waited 10 minutes for a small and distinctly overpriced latte (£2.50) when the cafe itself was not particularly busy, and someone ahead of me waited 20 mins + for a ham and cheese croissant! The coffee is tasty, and from the food I have tried it is also quite nice, but again, very overpriced for what it is. The main problem with this cafe, however, is that the service is - in my experience - always very slow, and to make it worse, largely unapologetic and generally pretty rude.

Ive been having my morning coffee here whilst working nearby. Really friendly staff and lovely coffee. Never tried tge breakfast menu but it looks great. Perfect place to chill out before work

The A-Board outside had a chalked image of a woman's torso, chest bulging out of a bikini, with the words "Available inside. Come and get some of HER". I glanced inside to observe someone who works there putting cakes onto a display, which was perfectly exposed in the heat of a sun-drenched window, licking her fingers between each one placed. Anywhere demonstrating such gleeful disrespect for its customers will never get my custom. Unfortunately a friend recently turned up at my house with a cake from there - needless to say it was as stale and disappointing as the Haggerston Expresso (Espresso???) Room.
