He visitado varias veces la comida siempre es muy bueno. Lugar ideal para ir en un día de verano, te sientes como si estuvieras en vacaciones si te sientas en la parte trasera de la terraza.

Bien, este era un día muy caluroso, Martes 13 de septiembre de 2016.

La primera vez fue en 2014, a Solche y vimos el mundial desde nuestra mesa fuera, compartimos un plato de carne/largo frutos pimientos/etc y estaba delicioso. Volvimos Julio 2016 en nuestra próxima visita y su era tan deliciosa, la gente más agradable.

Un lugar realmente relajante con gran variedad de smoothies frescos, té y café turco; envolturas y kebabs. Precios razonables.

Quite often disappointing. Music inappropriately loud during lunch. Building work next door doesn't help. Service slow. Not bad but not great either.

Fui hace un par de semanas, la comida era normal y el servicio era malo. Sin embargo, cuando fuimos a pagar la factura que nos cobraron dos veces. Como yo no vivo en la zona, llamó y preguntó por un reembolso. Me dijeron que iban a enviar un cheque. Por supuesto dicho registro nunca llegó y todas mis llamadas posteriores fueron ignorados o colgó.

I had a decent pizza and my wife had a delicious soup. Very nice broad bean starter. Service was excellent. We'll definitely be returning.

Este lugar solía ser un bonito restaurante con buena comida turca básico, bien atendido y con una buena relación calidad-precio. Sin embargo, fuimos la semana pasada y me pareció un mal esperamos (p.ej. lento y poco profesional) lugar donde sirven comida peor que la media (por ejemplo, la comida estaba fría, mal presentados y las raciones eran mucho más pequeñas de lo que solía ser). Lo siento mis amigos, necesitas una cabeza!

Cuando finalmente nos dieron la comida después de una hora de espera, estaba bien. Sin embargo, el restaurante parece ser dirigido por aficionados que conocen nada sobre servicio al cliente. Nadie nos enseñó una mesa o nos reconoció cuando entramos. Cuando encontramos una mesa no fue resuelto o limpiado hasta que pedí y no una vez recibimos una actualización de por qué la comida estaba tomando tanto tiempo, y no había disculpa cuando no llega. Nos envió dos cestas de pan, por duro y rancio y no me molestaron para traernos otro. También tuvimos que subir dos veces y recuperar nuestras bebidas del bar. Como gente, no nos vamos a volver!

Servizio abbastanza lento, ma i piatti sono buoni (anche se leggermente cari, ma siamo a Londra). Ho apprezzato molto le birre artigianali locali di London Fields Brewery alla spina. Anche il caffè è uno dei migliori che ho bevuto da queste parti.

We went in here on the first really sunny day of the year. Broadway Market was packed and this was one of the only places we could actually get a table. The other restaurants in the area had waiting times of up to 45 mins. We sat down and had to wait for menus, eventually we got up and got one ourselves. After 15 minutes of waiting no one had coe to take our order. We went to request a waiter and the waiter behind the bar laughed and said someone would be with us soon. We waiting another 5 minutes and still no waiter!! We decided to leave as the service was so poor and they seemed to really not care about us! As we were leaving one of th waiters half heartedly apologised but it was too late. The menu itself looked very average, absolutely nothing special. But for such an fabulous location for the restaurant it seems an absolute waste!! Definitely would not recommend and I hope they do something about the service.

Service was OK at the beginning but than we had to ask for water and after we finished eating we waited 20 minutes with empty plates. The waiter could not care less, we asked for the bill which it was on the table in a second but we still had dirty plates in front of us and it was very clear we had finished. We had hummus to start with which it was too garlicky and the bread was cold and old . To follow by we had a wrap which it was delicious.

I have been here twice, the second visit will be my last one. First time I went with my partner and had breakfast - the quality of the food was ok but not worth the price. The service and the overall atmosphere weren't great either, e.g. drinks arrived at random times with no explanation, and nobody asked us whether everything was ok or if we wanted anything else.Second time - took the extended family out (6 people in total). Although it was a Saturday, the inside of the restaurant was half empty, so we got seated straight away. Our table ordered both hot and cold drinks, and food. The cold drinks arrived very quickly, however that was all that we were given. After a while, I tried to catch the wait staff's eye to ask whether it would be much longer but this proved to be very difficult and I felt ignored. I observed another table being given their coffees and food almost straight away while our table was left completely unattended. Over an hour (!) after we had ordered, I approached one of the wait staff. He was very rude and simply said it was very busy (it wasn't). I explained that we had waited for too long and it wasn't acceptable. He soon came back with a random selection of hot drinks some of which we hadn't ordered and others didn't come at all. There was no apology nor attempt to rectify this, so I decided to cancel the food (who knows how much longer it would have been) and ordered the bill. Throughout all of this the wait staff were unbelievably rude, rolling their eyes and not making any eye contact. Needless to say I will not be returning. This place seems to rely on their good location and think they need to pay no attention to the customer experience. Very, very disappointing and puts Broadway Market to shame.

I have been two times est pizza, out of standart...Friendly staff, nice food...Good atmaosfer...You have to visit thise place

Have previously visited this restaurant on many occasions and absolutely loved it but on a recent visit the portion sizes seemed much smaller and therefore overpriced. £22.50 for hummus between 10, a main and a beer is not good value especially when there are so many great Turkish food options in the Hackney area. Sorry Solche but unless you up your game we won't be coming back.

Extremely bad service went there twice; first experience: we ordered extra chips it arrived once food was finished, no bread given, full english breakfast plate was half empty, second experience: empty plate compared to all other places I had breakfast, egg looked wrong, too expensive compared to what we were given, no good customer service, haoulimi wrap was just a bread and cheese, drinks were too sour as if I had lemon juice to drink although we ordered smothie... not going again...

We went here two nights while staying in London. The first night was great, awesome food and nice service. Then the second night which was our last night in London, we were blown away. My girlfriend was literally in tears of happiness while eating the meal (we had the mixed meze, margarita pizza and izgara grilled lamb) and the manager recommend us places to go in Turkey (which we followed) and surprised us with complimentary Turkish coffees to finish. We walked out beaming, it was better than any of the Turkish food we had in Turkey.

First time in the area, my friend took me there for a late Sunday lunch. The food was very good, I can't complain at all, but I understand the comments about service. Our waiter couldn't speak much English, but he was attentive and tried his best. Have ordered starters to share, but it came with the main course, which was not ideal. The bottle of wine I had to open and serve myself (ok, at least open the bottle and serve some wine - I wouldn't mind top up myself). There was one waitress that was quite smiley - and the only one. I can see the reasons why people are complaining about the service, it was quiet when I was there and still the service wasn't the best. Very good food but they need to start listening to their guests - like many here, otherwise things can start going south, with no return!!!

What can I say, rude staff, smelly cutlery, wasn't apologetic when they brought the wrong food, the staff seem really stupid and don't know what they are doing. Staff barely spoke English. Giving this place 1 star was even too much. The members of staff spend more time on their phones and smoking outside than inside the restaurant. One of the waiters (slighter bigger then the rest and tall) has a really snub look about him. Always giving dirty looks. My starter come after my main and he said it's because we're busy. I would 100% avoid! Go anywhere but there!!

Le restaurant a changé de nom mais la formule reste la même. Petite terrasse ensoleillée devant le restaurant sur la rue très fréquentée et deuxième terrasse derrière très sympa. Nous avons pris la formule entrée et plat pour moins de 8£ et avons testé le houmous délicieux et les brochettes de viandes hachée succulentes. Vin rosé italien bon et pas trop cher. Service un peu long et désorganisé mais on a le temps en vacances.Une bonne adresse pour bien manger pas cher

name was attractive to me , it wasnt on my plan to visit this place. cozy enviroment cool service i feel im not in the restaurant they made feel at home actually food was was fresh , no suprises . ive really enjoyed . hackney still interesting place for foodie!!

Top quality food at reasonable prices, beautiful home made dips and bread. Gourmet pizzas. Nothing too much trouble for the staff who came in and out to us at exactly the right times. Have eaten there 2 years ago also when we stayed in London, and an excellent choice! Lovely calming decor too.

Frequent visitor to this fantastic restaurant just by my house, for lunch, a quick coffee or beer or dinner this place hits the spot. Food is delicious and the atmosphere is just right for me. Not really packed in and prompt service without overbearing wait staff. I can recommend the value for money of the 2 course lunch special. And the falafel is the best I've ever eaten. Go now!

Worse possible service ever!! I can't believe how rude the waiters are... We waited 20 minutes before given a glass of water and then a further 45 minutes before we had to enquire about our food... I was then told by the rude staff that there was a Que and orders for people who had arrived before us (We only ordered a salad!!) so basically After an hour later our food arrived without our starters which was just houmus! At this point we explained our disappointment to the waiter who then suggested cancelling our order if we weren't happy so that was the last straw. We left the food, paid for the water and walked out.

The service here was absolutely appalling. My friends and I went here on a Sunday afternoon and could not believe how badly we were treated.We had to wait at least ten minutes for a menu and even then we had to ask for it. Trying to get the waitress' attention to take our order was like an Olympic sport. It was impossible to get her attention whilst she paid attention to other tables. Another couple got up and walked out without paying for their drinks because they were so unimpressed. They had the right idea.It took 45 minutes for a starter of simple bread, dips and falafel. We complained asking when our starters and mains would arrive and was told 5 minutes. Lo and behold the food still didn't arrive. Once the food did arrive they arrived at different times so some people were left waiting for food. Even when we asked for cutlery, the staff laughed continuing having their chats rather than giving us the utensils we so desperately needed to eat the long awaited food.The mayonnaise was filthy on the lid. My friend's egg was raw and even after sending it back was still inedible.We complained about the poor service but not once were we given an apology. Just a shrug of "well we are very busy here today". Not an excuse!If you want to enjoy your meal then DO NOT GO HERE.

I am beyond unimpressed with the service at this restaurant. Me and my friends visited today we could not believe the way that they treated their customers. My friend was served a raw egg on her pizza, which caused the waitress to laugh and say "I wouldn't have eaten that". We were served mayonnaise out of a dirty bottle. And one of my friends was not given cutlery for ten minutes after everyone else despite the fact his food had arrived. The overall experience of a Sunday service was slow and inadequate. Our starters were not given for 40 minutes- disgraceful when all we ordered was basic mezzes such as hummus and tzaztiki! Our waiter then told us our mains would be arriving shortly after, for us to wait another half an hour. Frankly, abusy shift was not an excuse for such poor treatment of customers. The restaurant should be equipped to handle a busy crowd on a warm Sunday afternoon. We actually saw people leave the restaurant in disgust. Don't visit solche.

The service was slow, inattentive and extremely uncaring. Portions were small meaning value for money was not good at all. The food was not bad though.

Since there are two tripadvisor pages for this restaurant I thought I'd take the liberty and write to reviews. Food is to die for. Service and staff are great, very friendly and accommodating. I love the decor and the atmosphere in the restaurant. The whole menu is definitely worth a try and great value for portion sizes. I am a regular visitor when I go to my aunts and will continue to keep visiting. Love this place!

Location is beautiful on a summers evening, decor is lovely. Handy to have the outdoor area and even better now its covered. Am often here when visiting my aunt as I know she is a regular. The food is beautiful and so reasonably priced for portion sizes. I am not a fan of rice but their rice is delicious there is not much on the menu I am not keen on. Will always go back, staff are friendly and accommodating when there are large groups. The only down side I would say is the restaurant itself is not big enough and is usually packed so there's not much space but that is a minor complaint. Am very fond of this place!

I had a lovely meal here with a friend this evening. My lamb was meltingly soft and the veg accompanying it were well cooked. My friend enjoyed her mutton. The aubergine starter was super too.With the starter, the two meals (plus 2 G&Ts each) came to 40 quid.

A brilliant find after a very cold afternoon wandering around Broadway Market. As we had a dog with us we were shown into the conservatory which was fine as there were wall heaters. The set lunch was really excellent both in value and in quality and when other family members subsequently turned up they were ushered through to join us without any fuss.The staff are really delightful and we left the restaurant feeling relaxed and well fed. Great!I am however puzzled as to why Che Guevara's image is everywhere including on the business card. We were recently in Cuba and do not recall any link with the revolutionary hero and Turkey! We must have missed some thing!

Have to highly recommend this place it ticks alot of boxes. I now go there all the time for lunch as they have a great value lunch menu where you can have a starter and a main for £7.95. I normally have the Spicy Salami starter and Chicken Shish main. The moretti beer on tap is always cold and never flat its a really good beer. The service is always prompt and helpful and the venue itself has alot of ambience with pretty good music playing low level most of the time. They used to play some nice jazz beats not so much lately. Its right by the canal at the end of Broadway Market and in the summer I am sure its great but even when its rainy and cold this place has a cosy feel and nice for long lunches. I actually havent been in the evenings but I am sure its great then also. Admittedly I stick to my regular order because its always good and tastes fresh but I have seen other dishes as they serve them and they look good too! Bottom line is it is good food and good value for money and they dont add service charge so you can do your own tip which is how it should be!

We went there Saturday night for a Birthday Party and we all loved it....Great FoodGreat Atmosphereand really charming staff..we would go again once the hangovers have gone..!

Always enjoyed our visits here such friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent menu choices to suit all tastes. Great choice for our daughters birthday gathering for 12 of us,the shared kebab platter was a real feast. Would recommend for brunch, lunch and dinner.

absolutely love this place! atmosphere top class relaxing.The food is delicious and the portions are very good compared to the cheap prices.The staff are lovely, never had any trouble, always bright smiles.If going to Broadway market or want to spend a little time in the park this place is the perfect place for lunch dinner or just that hot cuppa when you want to warm up a little.

We are regular visitors to this little restaurant, as there are plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. It can get very busy at weekends, service & ambience tend to be more relaxed & pleasant on weekdays. Go for brunch & have the Cilician breakfast with Bloody Marys & apple tea. Go in the evening & share hot & cold meze. Try the warm onion salad, dressed with sumac & pomegranate juice. Despite the experiences of other reviewers, we've always found the staff to be genuinely friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Well located by the Regent's Canal.

Have eaten here several times (take away and sit in). Food is decent quality. Annoying for takeaways though as phone is left off the hook or they don't answer, so you can't ring your order ahead!

A decent Cilician breakfast on a Sunday morning. Plentiful and served promptly. A staff are helpful and polite, if a little serious; not many smiles! Yet the overall atmosphere is relaxing and with some uplifting, non-intrusive background music.

Found this lovely restaurant today for lunch. Food was wonderful as were the staff. On leaving I asked where I could buy some Halloumi cheese. The unexpected pleasure when the manager/owner? went to the kitchen and appeared with a unopend packet of cheese and insisting I have it as a little gift really made my day. Thank you all very very much from the Scottish visiter you had today.

Had a meal there yesterday, the food was lovely and the 2 course set meal was only £7.95 and had great choices of food on it, the only negative would be the staff don't smile and come across as rude but would go back again

Had eve. meal here in late May. Sampler plate of appetizers was fine, as were the various entrees. Rather large menu with many choices. It was reasonably crowded/popular with what appeared to be locals......usually a good sign of restaurant quality.

We popped into Solche early on Saturday evening for a meal.We were told there was a table outside free, after sitting there for five mins we discover this is the smoking area and ask when a table became available if we could be moved inside.The waiter seemed annoyed but agreed "when something became available".We ordered a bottle of prosecco (very nice) And mezze platter to start along with an order of squid.The squid was in edible, tough and chewy. We sent it back, there was no apology or offer to re order a fresh plate.Eventually we get moved inside. We have no help to move our plates, drinks or bottle.Food arrives, service without a smile seems to be the order of the day at the restaurant, everything seemed a chore at best.Food was average, well cooked but lacked the great seasoning of many similar restaurants in the area.Having said that had the service been good it wouldn't have mattered so much!Recieved bill at the end of the evening, various thing on it we hadn't ordered, and not surprisingly they had charged us for the returned squid.We didn't mention it and paid up, the waitress didn't even thank us or say goodbye.The icing on the cake is the bill which says in capital letters on the bottom "SERVICE NOT INCLUDED" and then two lines above has "service charge £12".To conclude, great location on Broadway market, nice enough decor, reasonable food but rude and moody service really ruined the evening.A big thank you to the member of staff on the way out who was the only person to be polite to us all evening and apologised for our bad experience.

The Solce-Cilician was one of the early Broadway Market pace-setters and is well-established and popular Turkish cafe/restaurant. With outside seating front and rear, it has a lovely breezey ambience on a perfectly placed corner by the Regent's Canal - right by a Boris-bike stand.The food is exceptional for the price. The set lunch at £7.95 is a bargain - try their hummus followed by a shish kebab - wonderfully tender marinated lamb. Ask for the homemade chilli sauce.My daughters love the apricot and pistachio dessert. Coffee's good too!Pizza oven added as part of a recent refit. Service can occasionally be slow but always welcoming and friendly.A regular haunt for lunch and dinner, several times a month...Or just have a drink and gaze at the E8 fashion cognoscenti strutting by.Great value!

Recently visiting after a refurbishment (we'd visited many times since the opening in its old incarnation) we enjoyed again the great food (the lamb shank and mixed grill are especially recommended), the warm atmosphere, friendly fellow diners and super service. I have always had the Chilean wine they have on their list, consistently excellent. The prices are very good, making this a choice for those evenings when you decide to eat out spontaneously. All in all a great local restaurant.

Good find on Broadway market, great prices and great food. Everything you could want from a independent local restaurant. As the previous reviewer said its less of a cool place to be seen than others on the same street but all the better for it!

Pleases both veggies and meat eaters. A great place for breakfast or brunch. Nice people and families inside; less of the invading Nathan Barley's from Hoxton, as it's not such a good place to pose and be seen as elsewhere on Broadway Market.
