Great pub, Great drink selection, Great crowd and Great Atmosphere… the only downside was the barman… Big guy, dark skin, I believe his name was Paul… made weird comments towards us and constantly looked at us with strange eye contact throughout the evening… I don’t know if he was drunk or what but he wouldn’t leave us alone and made our experience so uncomfortable we had to leave just to get away from him and even as we tried to exit he then tried to get our personal contact information… such a weird strange man… I wouldn’t come back here if I see him working… otherwise it’s great place to be

Yesterday, I was catching up with a friend from New Zealand and we had the 2 course set menu. The staff were friendly and efficient. The salad starter was tasty with a decent amount of Boursin. However, both our steak frites were very disappointing. The chips were fine, but the quality of the steak was unacceptable. Yes, it was a minute steak, but it had a lot of gristle and despite asking for medium rare it was mostly grey with a streak of pink. Even if it had been medium rare, the essential quality of the steak was poor. The set menu is good value and yes, you get what you pay for, but one still expects good quality food. I have always enjoyed the minute steak at Côte in Richmond so I am familiar with the set menu dishes. I now wish we had paid the £6 to upgrade to the other steak at Côte Southbank. Regarding drinks, the Marmalade No-groni was flavoursome but tiny, especially with a price tag of £8.50. I don’t think I’ll be visiting this Côte any time soon.

There are actually two different establishments called "Barbican Kitchen" - one located in Plymouth and another in London at the Barbican Centre. ## Plymouth Barbican Kitchen The Plymouth Barbican Kitchen is housed in the world-famous Plymouth Gin Distillery and was established in 2006 by the Tanner Brothers, Chris and James[1]. This restaurant focuses on delivering fresh local food at realistic prices, taking full advantage of the superb larder in the Westcountry with menus showcasing stunning local meats, vegetables, and top-quality fish from their network of suppliers[1]. The Michelin Guide describes it as an informal eatery offering brasserie menus with a good choice of simply cooked dishes, with classic comfort food to the fore and good vegetarian options[5]. **Opening Hours:** - **Lunch Service:** Friday & Saturday, 12pm - 2pm - **Dinner Service:** Tuesday to Friday starting at 6pm, Saturday starting at 5pm[1] The restaurant has wheelchair access via lift to the lower section, with all toilets on the ground floor[1]. They add a discretionary 12.5% service charge for tables of 6 or more guests and offer private dining for 15-24 guests[1]. ## London Barbican Kitchen The London Barbican Kitchen is located on the ground floor of the Barbican Centre and is operated by Benugo[3]. This establishment offers a bright and welcoming space where fresh, delicious food is served all day[3]. Every salad, sandwich, and hot food item is made on-site, with cakes made either on-site or in their London bakery[2]. **Opening Hours:** - **Monday:** 9:00 - 21:50 - **Tuesday-Sunday:** 9:00 - 21:00[3] **Menu and Offerings:** The menu includes barista-made coffee, pastries, toasted sandwiches, build-your-own salads, hand-stretched pizzas, hot specials, street food, and various cakes and pastries[3]. In the evening, they offer wine, beer, and tapas/mezze dishes perfect for sharing or pre-show dining[3]. **Family-Friendly Features:** Children under 10 can enjoy a complimentary meal from the kids' menu with every adult meal over £10 purchased[3]. The venue offers facilities including baby change, disabled access, accessible toilets, free Wi-Fi, and outdoor seating on the Lakeside Terrace[3]. **Membership Benefits:** Barbican members receive 10% off their bill, while Young Barbican Members (aged 14-25) get 20% off[2]. The restaurant takes allergen awareness seriously, with trained allergen champions on-site to help customers with specific dietary requirements[2]. **Customer Experience:** Reviews are mixed for the London location, with some praising the location and atmosphere while others criticize the food quality and service system[4]. The venue attracts a diverse crowd including students from local schools and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, as well as theatre-goers and tourists[4]. Top location, fantastic, atmospheric venue with great views for a memorable milestone birthday lunch. Staff were very accommodating, helpful and polite, including providing exclusive use of the "Crows Nest" room for the event. Good quality food at reasonable prices.

¡Derroche!

I am a regular customer of Costa. I have visited several shops, but for me, this particular Costa is the best because of their excellent service and the friendly behavior of the staff. I ordered a coffee and some snacks and received instant service with a warm gesture. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate their prompt service. The environment was attractive. As a customer, I would rate this shop 10/10. I can’t wait to visit again soon.

The place was packed and full of life. The music was great and we were also able to play darts which is a new feature. The bar service was pretty quick and the ladies toilets were always checked and clean.
