Costa Coffee in City of London, Westminster

I ordered with a specific delivery time of 9:30 and don’t arrive till 10:00 when arrived the hot items were cold and dry not sure how long it was waiting for till it was sent out for delivery absolutely poor quality and timing

Lovey area but was quite and 3 people couldn't do a thing right charge me a drink didnt put the drinks on the costa app then took 5 mins to tell me they didnt have the right drink?!

The best service I have ever experience! I had the honour of being served by a young south-Asian gentlemen who made me feel so welcomed. I hate myself for not remembering his name ! But I believe it began with M... Mahdi maybe? He was absolutely hilarious and his coffee-making skills is second to none!! Honestly it was the greatest latte I ever had to pleasure of consuming!! As long as he is there, you will always have a customer in me!

I went to this costa the other day and was not having the best of days however was served by an individual named Mahdi. Nicest person ever and a true diamond in the rough, he showed his knowledge of the menu and with hiz quick witted customer service he helped me come down to something I enjoyed. Will be returning for sure excellent experience.

Chose not to use Costa as there were piles of Costa cups & Costa rubbish outside on the pavement. Very poor impression.

Although we were one of the first guests, it is not cleaned. Crumbs on the tables and on the floor. We had to clean the table ourselves so I could have breakfast.

Friendly staff and good coffee. However, I didn’t like that we got kicked out at 7:30pm when the closing time is 8pm which I found odd.

The guy that works in there, name I think is spelled Ashraf... he just went the extra mile. Thank you. You never know when your kindness will mean the most :)

While traveling in England, I was craving coffee, so I ordered a latte with my younger brother, but sometimes it wasn't very tasty. .Wonderful milk coffee.. Next star Dinah Mactanult Chu Why are they playing Indian music? It doesn't match the atmosphere and I won't play it again. I think I'll go after seeing the review.. Take a look at the review

Decent Costa next to Monument Station. Service is usually fast but 4 stars from me as there's been a few too many times where they haven't had the basics a good coffee shop should such as Hot Chocolate or any croissants at 10am!

Staff there can’t manage peak time, not first time a came here to have a nice chill moment, I ordered my coffee and staff forgot about my order and instead of flat white I revived latte with burn milk. Impossible to drink. Definitely I won’t be back there.

So I have tried this Costa numerous times and thought I just had a bad experience a couple of times, but seems no. The staff are friendly and polite, but the coffee quality is bad. For the past 3 visits all coffee milk was overheated. Even if you order warm they still reheat milk and overheat coffee. All times ordered cappuccino and all times basically you get lates or flat whites...

Great service from the gent who took my order yesterday morning. A busy coffee shop with city workers and tourists alike. Seating area available too. Went to this coffee shop for a business meet over coffee. Worth considering

The code is nearby the underground. It is a very convenient place for coffee and meeting some friends here.

All I do yo go places and find Costa there ....this one is really in a corner location with a great view of city...good to watch

If you're from the USA, this place is as popular as Dunkin Donuts (DD); it reminds me of a twist between DD and 711. We only bought drinks for our long walk, but they also sell sandwiches and other treats; the sizes are small, so if you usually order small, get a medium or large. I ordered small, and it was like a kids size. The drink was refreshing and delicious, however. Restrooms - single one toilet, two sinks?, no urinal, clean and free

Ashraf gave 5-star service today. Really helpful, quick, humourous and friendly. The woman behind the till was lovely too, made my drink well and quick. Kudos to both. :)

One of my favourite Costa to go to. Great location, always service with a smile . At this costs coffee store the staff are welcoming and friendly, it may be small but the atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable. I go into that store everyday passing by after my workout. Love my favourite semi skimmed mocha, staff knows me so well they know what I have every time I come in . Thanks to all the staffs

We visited on a Bank holiday Monday lunchtime. The café was busy, however the service we received was very basic, the seating area was dirty and not cleared, and in particular the seats were filthy and stained. The toilet was out of order also. Don’t bother with this location - it’s chaotic and dirty.

Not a very good or large sandwich selection, and there is minimal seating, however there was lots of space when I came.

Pretty bad latte. Poor service. Stood at the counter for awhile before anyone came over then acted upset I was even there.

Filthy Costa, no brown toast here either, shocking 🥹. Look at my panini it takes some skill to make it look that bad. It tasted as bad as it looked. Not a nice place to sit for a coffee, amazed it stays open.

Very busy coffee shop in the mornings. Staff are all over the place, but they do get their orders right most of the time. Sometimes they will serve the person behind you, but it is not the end of the world, I suppose. Like I said they are super busy. Staff are quick and basic politeness will be provided to all clients. If you don't have any other options, it is OK to come here. They are located right outside of Monument station, nearby the London Bridge, hence the business of the place.

Disgusting customer service from both ladies (management and staff). Very, VERY rude and condescending to customers and treated one man like rubbish until he walked out in disgust, then laughed at him, causing other customers to walk out. Come on Costa Coffee, you can do better than these people you have working for you.

In love with their hot chocolate. Just a perfect blend of milk and chocolate. I know it sounds easy but very few get it right 😅 Oh, they also sell M&S food, which is a lovely steal. Do try their almond biscottis 🤍

Was served my Asharaf on Sunday morning, he was incredibly welcoming and upbeat. He offered great suggestion which I can't wait to try next time I able to stay in. Also, I have been to a number of Costa branches over London and this location beat them all!

Loved the Xma Purple Latte with Oat milk n shot of expresso, prepared by a very friendly helpful TEAM, (gave me tissue to pad my mug purchase. Decided to try milion dollar cakre too, which very rich and a little too sweet.

Worst latte ever! Could not taste the coffee, just a large amount of hot milk. The blueberry muffin was undercooked and hard on top. Should have gone to Pret a Manger.

I personally prefer taste and price of other barista but nonetheless a warm and welcoming coffe house with a plug or two for recharging devices. And a toilet facility which is always admired.

My favourite coffee shops, always a black americano, no milk or sugar, pure rocket fuel, just the thing to revive you after a long walk around the city of London, an oasis in the desert that the city has become, a good place to plan the next part of the journey,once revived onto view the sights I have grown up with and see differently from the tourists

I ordered a strawberry lemonade and let me tell you!!!! It tasted so good. I’ve really been missing on Costa. I don’t think I’ve ever ordered from Costa before but this will definitely not be my last. I shall be ordering from Costa often. I want to try more drinks!!!! Customer service was ok.

Costa is a Costa. Convenient but not exactly gourmet...

It wasn't busy at all. Me and my friend just wanted to grab a coffee. To make 2 coffees it took around 5 min, very long time for a coffee shop that was empty. Also unfortunately gents that were working there stank really badly. I mean I understand the sweat but if you're sweating extensively just use antiperspirant every now and then. It really makes a difference!

No bad word to say about this place. Flat white.

It's open for coffee, cakes and sandwiches for takeaway only. Although there is a lot of boarding outside the coffee shop and it looks closed, it is still open for business...

Se me acercó de manera agresiva. No me dejaba hablar. francamente, esto no es lo suficientemente bueno. Me gustaría hacer algo. Soy un cliente que paga y no tendré miembros del personal que me hablen de esa manera. ¡NUNCA MÁS! ! ! Quick service. Called back to counter to carry own drinks. Not very polite staff just standing behind talking to each other. Didnt bother to try and have any chat just waited for order and told the total. Even when had problem with card machine wasnt helpful. Would expect better customer services. Products just the same as other stores. I will try to avoid returning

Popped in here walking from London Bridge station to the office. Staff friendly and the coffee was quick and decent. Ideal location on my walking route and a coffee stop is ideal way to start the day.

I went to Costa coffee a few weeks ago with my friends, it was a very quite time around three o'clock, the place was empty. I told the guy we will let him know when we ready to order, non of my friends see far without glasses and they did not have it with them, so I had to read the entire board for them. The guy cam to us very agitated while we were making our decision what coffee we would like forcing us to order fast, it was still only the three of us there. My friends ordered, he was very rude and made faces of them and after when I placed my ordered I asked for a semi skimmed Lacto Free milk latte - in supermarkets its three type available of the type of milk - he corrected me very rude that its only semi skimmed anyway and made a face on us. We got our coffees and we left, sadly my Lacto Free milk was not lactose free so I spent the entire afternoon with a bad stomach pain. I buy my coffee in costa for years and this was a very disappointing experience for me.

Costa generally is really good but this specific branch is awful. Not because of the coffee but mainly because of the staff. Their customer service is very poor. They never greet you, they are very impatient and mock you if you don't hear what they asked. Really disappointed, I'm not going to a coffee shop to get annoyed, I just want to buy my coffee and go about my day. If they are frustrated for XYZ reasons that doesn't mean that's the customer's fault.

Love the latte coffees. Staff dont always understand English so occasionally vit difficult and mistakes at made.

On this Saturday around 11.30 AM my friend and me were looking for a cozy place to sit, though many places around that area were closed at this time! so strange! When we came to this coffee shop, it was nice and clean, sun out of the window, so decided to stay. Guys at the staff were really nice and we enjoyed our coffees! Definitely will visit the place next time! Oh, I usually never buy any sweets at coffee places, but that cake my friend had now is on my list too, very small but so delicious!!!

Not impressed with this branch of Costa. Ordered a salted caramel latte. The member of staff obviously struggled with English and by the time he'd communicated what I wanted to another member of staff and after I told him I wanted it inside, not to take away, I ended up with what tasted like an ordinary latte in a takeaway cup! It was busy so thought I'd leave it, and as I got to the end of my coffee I came across a mass of salted caramel syrup! It obviously hadn't been mixed! Think I'll avoid that one in the future!

Free coffee via Vodafone app. Not the greatest of coffees but being as if was free, it'll do.

Flat White. Warm, weak (short a shot), no microfoam and very disappointing. Basically old milk warmed with pretty head. Won't come again. London continuing reputation for bad coffee.
