The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

Just want to say a very big thank you to the staff in Costa at Brookfield, particularly the very kind gentleman who cleaned up my stupid spillage, he was very kind, helpful & replaced my drink swiftly & made me feel better after feeling very stupid when spilling my drink all over me, the table & floor! Thank you kind sir.

The hot cookies was actually just one cookie cold with chocolate sauce in a pot. Not worth the money at all!!

We called on spec after seeing a sign nearby on the main road. We were not disappointed. The reception by the licensee and his wife was warm, friendly and welcoming. Choice of tables in the bar or restaurant both very nice. For lunch time there was a good choice on the menu. I had scampi and chips. My wife had fish pie. Both were freshly home made, served piping hot and were delicious. Lots of both too. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The service was very attentive and really friendly. Real ale on the pump. I can recommend this gem of a pub. The only ‘negative’ comment was my plate had so much on it I could finish which irked me. Best onion rings I have ever had. Try it, don’t think you would be disappointed.

Dominos must be really be hard up for cash (annual revenues suggest otherwise) being they have now removed the mushrooms off their hawaian pizza and have added it to the extras for over £2!!!! They've already increases their prices and now are stripping off toppings...what a joke.

This is a nice pub, friendly staff. Really nice lady serving called Laura really nice and chatty lady. Food was great. 👍

Visited this pub on two occasions this weekend. Only for drinks so cannot comment on food/ quality etc. The bar staff are something else. ! Unfortunately on the poor side. There is no communication / welcome/ how are you/ how dan we help etc. The staff appear totally disinterested in making the customer welcome and encouraging them to stay. We were in the lounge on Saturday night and last orders Bell was rang at 9.45pm. However according to the website opening times are until 11.00pm. We are visitors to the area and can advise there are better pub / restaurants locally offering a more pleasant and friendly visit. It's a good location if you are staying at the Premier Inn , next door, but the difference in customer focus from the pub staff to the Premier Inn staff, is so different. Customer service and a welcoming attitude is missing .

Great food & service. We have always had a great experience here. Lovely place & fab location. Excellent value. We will return soon.

Very disability unfriendly, cluttered floorspace made moving around difficult. Seats all very low and none with arms to aid rising. Disabled Toilet obstructed by the sink so it was hard to get up or down easily without contorting. In flip side though the staff were fabulous,bringing my drink over so I didn't struggle with hot cup bags and walking sticks.

Went for a family bday. We were a table of 8 and that clearly proved too much for the staff. Our food came in two waves - 2 sets of 2 meals about 20 mins apart. The chips were stone cold, the burgers over cooked and tasted like very average chain pub food. Not worth the £20 burger price. Scampi was also stone cold and sent back and took over 30 mins to come back. The one child’s meal was also delivered last - surely the staff know to serve a toddlers meal first?! None of our party ate together. Waitresses (apart from one!) couldn’t really care less - no apologies offered. Seemed bored and indifferent, giving no customer service at all. When we asked for water, they gave a jug and no glasses. When we asked for 8 glasses the response was ‘oh god really’. The glasses were filthy with some even having lipstick marks on them. When we asked for a beer that had been poured but not given to us the response was ‘oh sh*t yeah here you go’

We need a real manager for the Click & Collect delivery sector. An order with 7 items is taking one hour to be prepared

A fantastic venue with a continental/Italian feel in its decor. They were able to accommodate a table of 8 with no notice and proceeded to present us with a perfectly cooked meal and wonderful courteous and professional service. There is an outside sheltered seating area heated by gas patio heaters......Great food , reasonably priced with a lovely atmosphere.

First time we had visited and sat in a beautiful sun lounge with amazing views. We ordered coffees and after Waiting 15mins My husband went to find out where it was to find 3 young staff members standing around the coffee machine chatting. When the coffee arrived it was cold. We didn’t complain as we had heard some ladies on another table had the same experience and the waitresses answer was “I wouldn’t charge you but you have already paid, so do you want another coffee” Needless to say we couldn’t be bothered to complain. There are far too many good coffee establishments within a short walk for you to not be getting it right, despite a nice setting.

Edible cheap food, reasonable priced drinks, cannot really complain. My £4.99 breakfast was quite small compared to the bigger breakfast I normally enjoy. My wife had refillable tea and toast, £2.49. Not bad and in a lovely building with a gorgeous fireplace Visited March 1st 2025

Lovely location and great staff totally ruined by the swearing people in Sports Bar - just F after F all very sad- no control at all and no recognition of women and children !

Nice Costa, always busy and the service is always slow in comparison to other branches. That said the staff are very friendly and always helpful. Food and drinks always good quality, hot and fresh
