Very disappointed I ordered a new mango bubble drink and was extremely unhappy. To start the cream on top was just really runny milk and the straw was so thin and small that the bubbles couldn’t even be drunk through it. As I was drinking the bubbles kept getting stuck at the bottom and the straw became very soggy instantly. Very disappointed and would not recommend any of there new drinks.

I have been to many Costas’ but Basildon Town Square’s Costa is a top notch. All the staff are absolutely lovely, & the atmosphere is beautiful. It’s chilled and relax which suits my being. Amazing service.

Lady called Monica with blonde hair verbally abused me while was serving me. Absolutely shocking, the way she was talking to customers unacceptable. What a rubbish service never coming back.

Lovely flat white coffee for me, cappuccino, and Americano. Tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The worst cappucino ever and what is worst the second one was even more dicusting than the first one! What happened with Costa? I have been the cutomer for many years but staff who says you are not pleased with anything (that was just wrong coffee) is absolutely not acceptable. More training on customer service and making the right coffee is absolutely essential in Basildon branch. The rudeness can have roots in lack of right training unfortunately. What a shame. We went to the Lounge. The coffee and service was really good.

I ordered a hot sandwich and a latte. The sandwich was still cold in the middle, and the latte was lukewarm. I told the staff my sandwich is still cold and the mozzarella hadn't even melted and the Costa employee said we would put it back in, but it will burn. Luckily, another employee said I'll make you another one. Why would I pay £5 for an untoasted or burnt sandwich. Overall a poor experience.

Not the best! Coffee was Luke warm! Plus asked about a game on the app staff didn’t know anything about it! So what’s the point in the app called crack the code! That no one knows how to play it! Not impressed

Just been to Cornwall Services and even thoough the staff are very nice here it's only about 8C outside but the cold air is being pumped out of the air conditioning units as usual making the cafe really cold and drafty. As a result everyone sat here with coats on and a few even wearing beanies too as it's so cold. Why do Costa have to make their coffee shops so cold all the time. It makes it quite unpleasant to try and enjoy your coffee plus your coffee goes cold very quickly indeed. Please Costa, even if you don't want to put any heating on because of energy costs etc at least turn the cold blowers off. Come on be fair.

No clear information for covid rules or directions very poor service from staff member. Giving out her orders with very aggressive voice. Love costa coffee but will not return to this branch again.

Service with a smile and coffee as always very good. Had to wait about 10 minutes after ordering but they were very busy. Enjoy

Went for drink and a panini. I asked for hot chocolate with cream and wife had coffee. The person serving didn't look like he had any brain cells and then they told me they had run out of cream for my hot chocolate. They then gave me a 45p refund, when I went to collect my cappuccino they went to give me a regular and not medium what I ordered so had to redo this as well. I think Costa could do with retraining staff none of them seem to know what they are doing. Also couldn't use my points to pay as there server couldn't do it.

Great coffee as usual but why does it have to be so cold inside. It was warmer outside. Not a comfortable place to be either..place has no atmosphere. Thought we would go back to here as we usually go to the eastgate one..and from now on we will always be doing so.

The decline of Basildon town centre is no better appitomised than the pavilion Costa coffee. A filthy premises, inside and out with staff who have little in interest in either cleanliness or customer service. The owners of this franchise should be ashamed of themselves and should be taken to task by the council as a poor advertisement for the so called redevelopment of the town centre. Other reviews would suggest that this pensioner is not the only one complaining. Disgrace!

We had been here quite a few times, coffee as good as always But since there recent closure & re fit , there is now a lot less seating inside ..... Why ??? A bigger counter and more room for the staff, but customers Have a lot less room, so we will no longer use this Costa Whoever thought this out has very little business sense (The Costa upstairs in Eastgare by Debenhams is now much better and good choice ) Cheers M x

Was given 2 lattes that were watery and tasteless got the impression that because they were due to close soon they were not interested, my fault should have complained but couldnt be bothered and Ive got a loyalty card

Vastly overpriced drinks and food. Very slow service as there isn't enough staff. I try to avoid Costa whenever I can as there are better deals elsewhere

I don't mind it but tbh it is a bit expensive just for a cuppa, but the staff are always friendly it's always clean

As always cofffee was up to usual standard but the air con was so cold we would have been warmer sitting outside...and it wasn't a warm day..next time i am going to the one in the eastgate centre.

Met friends for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised - I had a large latte and almond croissant. All fresh and delicious.

Awful service. Was served by a lady (think her name was Lea?) who was unbelievably rude and unhappy. She was more interested in talking to her mates and her colleague than she was in actually telling me what I had to pay for my food. Never been served by such a miserable person.

The usual chain-store for coffees. Nothing different to the hundreds around the country, the coffee was acceptable and hot with vastly over-priced pastries.

Who ever designed the new Costa Refit in the town centre needs sacking, before it was a lovely coffee house, lots of seating, comfortable, relaxing, now the counter section takes up half the shop hardly any seating and what is their is hard wooden not inviting or comfortable it's almost like they have made it that hardly any people can sit inside and if you do you won't stay for long as it's so uncomfortable and awful. We waited longer than ever for our drinks so the extra counter space doesn't make them quicker, one drink was wrong the other awful we had the coffee coolers, didn't take them back as waited so long in the first place, tried sitting inside but so awful moved outside. Left ours drinks as they were discussing and left, why change something for the worse it's just horrible now and we will go too Starbucks from now
