We were staying up the road but decided to try The Bell for a change. The pub is a lovely old building with an extension on the rear. A big open fire gives it a lovely feel. The welcome was warm and the food superb especially the lasagne. The prices are really good - so many choices for around £10. We couldn't have been happier so came back the following evening and were served up the same experience Next time we're back in the area we will certainly be back.

This place has so much potential! Shame the food let's it down ! Mediocre roast dinner with awful dessert! 4 smallest profiteroles dray as a bine with no cream inside ! Had to return. No one was there on a Sunday lunchtime! If the food had been better we would have returned!! Management need to sort out chefs ! Waitress was good though !

A Roasting Good Time This little pub is a hidden gem. Their roast dinner is the stuff of legends. The meat is cooked to perfection, the veggies are spot on, and the Yorkshire pudding is fluffy and golden. The gravy? Divine. If you're a fan of a good roast, this is the place to be.

My first time back for 6 years when Carorline still used to serve the "Naughty breakfast" in their old premises across the road. Now replaced by 3 others which includes the "Large breakfast "which is a feast. Consistent quality over three visits in a fortnight & a lovely warm welcome every time. Worth a trip all the way from Africa.

Brilliant. Everyone is so friendly, and always so happy to see us. They go above and beyond with my son who absolutely loves it there. Thanks for a lovely afternoon lunch, myself, little man and his teddy bear enjoyed it, who also had a cheeky hot choc!!! 💙

Such a wonderful place. The cakes and pastries are absolutely top notch. Also, usually find it difficult to get decent coffee in this country, but the coffee in Teles Patisserie is so good, really rich and flavoursome. Realky friendly people too. I'd fully recommend a visit.

A Friday night meal. Based on previous reviews we decided to visit this period built pub. Our first impression was a lovely welcome by Alicia, the young barmaid, who went out of her way in everything we asked for. Food was delicious and were large portions, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. We'll certainly be back here again next time we visit the area, thanks very much.
