My Dad and I love visiting here for a spot of Saturday lunch and a pint or two. The people are absolutely lovely who run the pub and we are always made very welcome. My Dad has moved away but we try and make special efforts to visit when he's back home x

Good pub grub and a cold pint when it was needed. Could do with keeping down the pigeon population making the outdoor seating area a good deal more pleasant to sit in but I’d come back again I’m sure. Polite and chatty staff were swift with the service and the food was good and very well priced.

Friendly welcome from all staff. Lovely Sunday roast and lemon meringue pie. We will return.

Cycled here from Norwich. Had a drink, lovely beers, and a filling blt sub. Service good and friendly, food good, beers good - what's not to like! Liked it so much we repeated the ride for lunch and a beer. Equally as good. Food tasty and satisfying and good portions too.

Having been a local for 30 yrs not been here in 15 yrs Brought my girlfriend here for a birthday meal with her daughters lovely environment also nicely private as quiz night didn't interrupt us lovely food and drinks. Popped into this pub this evening. Glad we found it as our friends have just moved into the village. We received a lovely warm welcome. The owner is really friendly and jolly. Just what you need in these difficult miserable times. Fire was burning lovely and we sat peacefully drinking our drinks. Also extremely Covid clean with excellent measures in place. Felt very safe and relaxed.

Elegimos las gambas y los paquetes de salmón para empezar, seguidos del hígado de cordero y el pollo supremo y compartimos un budín de esponja de limón regado con una botella muy razonable de Malbec. La comida estaba deliciosa y bien presentada, volveremos cuando nos quedemos en HPB nuevamente.

The chips are chunky. It is great. I had a fish pie, it was amazing.

The lady behind the bar made all the difference to our visit - she was polite, chatty, and even spoke to the chef to fit us in for a table :) it's service like this that makes people want to come back! Food was lovely, atmosphere was great too

We went here for our anniversary meal. I left it rather late booking but the owner went out of his way to get us a table for that evening. We had never been here before but will definitely be going back. The service was warm and friendly and welcoming and the food was lovely. Thank you for a very pleasant evening

Having been at the Norfolk Show all day, we finished the day at our new local pub, The Bell at Barnham Broom. We took extended family with us and we all had a fantastic meal. Followed by their weekly quiz night, which certainly got the cogs turning. Lots of laughs and a very friendly atmosphere. Strongly recommend a visit to what is a lovely local pub run by a lovely Landlord called Steve.

Revisited this friendly village pub with wife, daughter & 2 year old grandson. Made very welcome and had freshly cooked food at a reasonable price. Already rebooked which I think says it all.

Definitivamente regresaremos cuando estemos en la zona. Es un gran pub del pueblo que no trata de ser otra cosa que lo que es, por favor, no cambie.

La reunión familiar en Barnham Broom nos vio visitar la campana sin anunciar el jueves por la noche. Una excelente comida, muy buena calidad y relación calidad-precio! La cerveza y la comida están bien servidas, y el servicio no podría haber sido mejor. Volvimos el sábado para otra cena, y no nos decepcionó.Un pequeño menú, pero bien hecho. Algunos de los mejores pizarrones de la zona, perfectamente cocinados. Definitivamente en la lista de 'ir de nuevo'!

While staying at Barnham Broom hotel we have visited the Bell every year.It's a great village pub and the food cooked by Stephen is very good and excellent value. The menu is not extensive but that reassures me for a small pub. The menu does not disappoint and we had white bait starter and just to be difficult I asked for a dusting of chilli. No problem said the very nice waitress. They were excellent.Main courses we had were all good and another difficult friend wanted 2 eggs with his steak again no problem.Wine selection is good enough and really not expensive. We had house wine and very acceptable.8 for dinner came to £25 a head and we did not hold back on the drinks.All in all great pub, excellent food well cooked and presented by fun staff and very good value. Recommended.

We went to the Bell last night and had a great evening. There were 6 of us and we had Dinner before the quiz started at 20.30. I had the salmon in creamy white sauce with leeks and fresh vegetables and new potatoes. 2 of the men had the liver and onions and ate it all up with relish. One lady had the small fish and chips which was very ample and enjoyed. Another lady had the steak and it was very disappointing with a huge amount of gristle in it. The vegetarian patty was also somewhat disappointing. The desserts were good and plentiful.

So i recently moved into the village, went down the pub with two friends and we collectively have 7 pints before we leave so we brought in business and ordered food at 5:55pm they start service at 6pm, at 6:45 i go through to the bar and ask them to check in kitchen how our food is coming after a 45 minute wait i believe thats more than acceptable. The owner (whom is also the chef) then comes out and kicks off saying how we didn't book (just to point out that at that time we were the only table eating) therefore should not be asking about the timing and telling us we were rude, what happened to the customer is always right? Well this pr*ck seems to have forgotten that. Also to point out I'm a chef at the park farm hotel and if i took that long for a burger and a sausage and mash to come I'd be catching in the neck off my head chef. To sum up, lovely food, cheap beer, c*nt of an owner who thinks his word is law, no respect for the working man and poor timings. And i hope one day he reads this and learns to speak to his customers with respect!

First but definitely not last time to this gem of a pub. Staff are fantastic and the food is fantastic value. Thanks to all for a fabulous evening.

Thanks to Steve & Family for a warm welcome, menu had a large variety for everyone and very cheap for home cooking. Bingo Quiz on the Wednesday was different but very enjoyable from Mark, Jersy Dudek, Granny Paul, Lumbox Len, Mongo & Jeep.

Very reasonable prices and excellent service . The menu had a variety of choices to choose from. Thai prawns were out of this world.

We were on holiday in the area, and decided to book a table for dinner before joining in the quiz. What a great decision it turned out to be. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table immediately. The extensive menu made it difficult to decide, but having done so we were all very happy with our selections. The quiz was a delight too, a most enjoyable evening all round. We enjoyed it so much that we went back again the next 2 nights ! We all chose different meals each time, with no disappointments at all. All the meals were served together, all were hot and freshly cooked, and all tasted divine. My personal favourite was the vegetable Kiev, the scampi was excellent and the fish pie superb too. Other choices from our party of 4 were the mixed grill, steak, chicken and duck - all were brilliant. An added bonus was that the price for all meals was extremely good, absolutely excellent value for money. If we are in the area again, we will make it a priority to visit again and have no hesitation in recommending very highly.

Great food, portion sizes are large and the price is fairly low. The service is friendly, always smiling and on hand to help. Lovely atmosphere in the pub which makes it a great place for any occasion. Pool table available as well. Would highly recommend.

Followed other reviewers advice, booked for six people this evening. Very friendly welcome, comfortable chairs and attentive service, within a good “pub” atmosphere. Could not fault any of the food served - hot, tasty and properly cooked. We will definitely return if we stay at HPB Barnham Broom again.

Typical country pub, Steve the barman very pleasant nd chatty. Some nice real ales along with your normal pub booze. Food is n8ce and all at reasonable prices. Great 'quirky' quiz on Wednesday evening so you need to book in advance.

Visited for a family meal at the end of a holiday and wa not disappointed, we all enjoyed our food and the bill was a please take surprise.

Typical country pub which all sorts of people use and enjoy the atmosphere. Needless to say all beers and lagers are kept in tip top condition.

We found this pub whilst passing through the village. An excellent find - very good quality food and ales. Friendly owners and staff. Excellent value. Will visit again when next in the local area.

Went with wife, daughter and 9 month old grandson. Nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly owner (and other drinkers). Food was good and reasonably priced. Will definitely call again when we are next in the area.

My husband and I dined here last Wednesday evening. We hadn't booked, but just turned up on spec and happily they could accommodate us and were able to accept payment by card. We had the nicest meal we had had in a long time. My husband had the gammon steak and I went for the duck. Both were cooked to perfection. For dessert my husband's bread and butter pudding was delicious. We were actually on holiday some miles from home or we would definitely be eating here on a regular basis.

What a friendly pub with good Old Hoppy Hen beer and a large range of choices on the menu . All food was cooked nicely and at under £35.00 for two including 2 and a half pints excellent value.

I was staying at a local hotel so wanted to try the local hostelries & called in to the Bell. The owners & staff are spot on, polite, friendly & a cracking senses of humour. The beer was good & the food was excellent value for money - home cooked pub grub & lots of it. The locals were also welcoming & a silly thing that put the icing on the cake - the pool table was only 50p a game which to me is cheap.

My wife and I are what they would say local to The Bell Inn.This evening was the first time that we have visited The Bell, we decided to have a meal before the quiz night started.Well well we are both full up to the brim very friendly staff, good honest food,

Four of us booked in for dinner before the weekly quiz. It was quiet when we arrived, but filled up rapidly with locals just as the quiz was about to start. There was a lovely atmosphere, the hosts were charming and really helpful. The food was plentiful, served with a smile, and the lemon Tartuffe was superb. We all enjoyed our choices. The fish pie was good, and the gammon was huge. We were impressed with the very reasonable prices, and if lived locally would definitely become regulars! We stayed for the quiz, but didn't win, unfortunately!

Enjoyed a good meal here. Staff friendly, but not sure policy for dog lovers. Told we could sit up corner with dogs, but others seemed to come in as they were with locals.

This is a traditional village pub with no airs and graces but serving good food which was hot and in more than ample portions. It has a car park to the side. The service was a little slow but friendly. Nice atmosphere with local trade. Good value for money.

We called in on the off chance and found the staff very welcoming, food is fairly basic pub food but was well cooked and very good value for money well worth a try if in the area.

Four of us went there last night after a day's golfing. Great choice of food, well cooked and plenty of it. Someone on the next table had the Cumberland sausage and mash. Two huge circles of sausage. Would certainly go again.
