I have been on the hunt for some yummy gluten free goodies, as many gluten free options just don't hit the spot. Well ... Today I purchased a peanut butter, marshmallow brownie and it was simply delicious. You wouldn't have even known it was gluten free as it tasted Amazing !! Thank you - I will be back xx

Had a falafel wrap and like always it is the most amazing falafel in the city! It was very busy due to the closure but it is worth the wait. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and work so hard. Thank you for all the food over the years ❤️ Good luck to your future endeavours

I go here regularly. It has never failed me: excellent food, excellent drinks, excellent people. We have lived near the city almost 4 years now and I don’t think I have ever gone longer than two months without visiting. I wanted to write this review to thank this small cafe. Thank you for providing me with all the food I can eat, will all the advice on how to cook the nut roast at Christmas and for looking and smelling nostalgia to me- I don’t know what it is, but walking into the place, especially autumn/Christmas time just makes me feel at home. Thank you Tofurei, I will deeply miss you. Oh and thank you for introducing me to spiced chai syrup in my oat iced latte- I will NEVER go back to regular lattes again. Like Christmas in a summer drink! (Ps- picture was from a while ago, only one I could find but perfectly encapsulates the beauty of this place)

Came here with friends recently for the first time. Staff are very friendly, food and drink taste great and good sized portions, and plenty of great board games on offer. A great experience overall!

A great little find "on" the beaten track. Accidentally stumbled into this place on our way up to some other pubs. Really nice cozy room with a great beer selection. Towards the back you can see their cellar through glass doors as you sit in their comfortable surroundings. Really nice helpful guy behind the bar. Definitely worth a swift half.

I was looking for somewhere to have a pot of tea and do a little work and stumbled on this little cafe. What a lovely place - felt really friendly, warm and cosy! The world needs more independent cafes like this!

Good coffee and alternative milks. Not much gluten free though unfortunately for me. My husband loves their sandwiches and cakes.

I left sad and annoyed. I have favourably reviewed this cafe in the past but it has all changed now, and not for the better. The kitchen has gone, and with it the expresso machine. Frankly, this can hardly claim to be a cafe. I paid £5.70 for a miserable excuse for a cappuccino and a flapjack. The coffee was very weak, with thin froth on the top. The flapjack was decent, but the bill was a joke. I will remember the old days with affection, but I won't be going back.

What a great place. Welcoming to us and our dogs. Gorgeous food, great variety and choice all freshly cooked. Loads of home made touches- apple butter yum!! I had wild mushroom n Swiss monte christo with syrup - wow!! Relaxed vibe. Oh and I didn’t mention - great coffee. So glad we went.

Service great but food and drinks (especially) are grossly overpriced. Tell me why one bottle of water is $20USD or $50ECD?? I have no choice but to assume this an attempt to price out locals and cater to tourists ONLY. Locals, if you’re seeing this, they not like us (if you know what I mean).

Took my friend for her birthday. We had a lovely evening with a Wallow platter to share, which was fab, the staff were all friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed having time to chat and bring able taste the wine before we had the whole glass was great.

My husband and myself have visited many times having both breakfasts and lunches. As I am gluten intolerant it is lovely to find a cafe that understands and gives gluten free options for the whole menu. The ladies there are so friendly and of course the food is top quality. We have never been disappointed with the breakfasts, lunches or just coffee & cake I recently had a gluten free chocolate birthday cake from there (ordered for collection) which was so good. My grandsons enjoyed it which is a real compliment from teenagers. Recommend this cafe 100%

BEWARE - New £18.50 charge for parking for guests !!!!!!! This is a disgrace and has been implemented quietly and without warning. This should be changed immediately. All the staff, Supervisors and Managers are embarrassed to charge this !!!!

We popped in for a coffee and ‘breakfast’ which turned out to be the most gorgeous chocolate brownie ever known to man! The decaf coffee was excellent (when sometimes it isn’t) the staff sweet, a nice atmosphere throughout, clean and great loo and facilities. Unfortunately we had a three hour drive afterwards home so can’t become a regular..thoroughly recommend to anyone in the area.
