Service great but food and drinks (especially) are grossly overpriced. Tell me why one bottle of water is $20USD or $50ECD?? I have no choice but to assume this an attempt to price out locals and cater to tourists ONLY. Locals, if you’re seeing this, they not like us (if you know what I mean).

have been in this area shopping a couple of times and noticed various eateries so gave this a go. Really really lovely place - excellent service and staff, food very good and quite quiet for a weekend morning. I was there for brunch but will be back for lunch very soon.

Not many people appreciate this little gem, well within walking distance of the city centre it offer home cooked lunches and a variety of sandwiches, all served with god old fashioned curtesy. No queuing up carrying trays pushing past others , table service at its best. Run by volunteers who give you the time of day, a well deserved visit, no fancy trimmings or trappings. Take time to seek them out, even just for a coffee. The Salvation Army does a Stirling role in society and this cosy cafe does them proud

Lovely air conditioned cafe , the staff are all lovely , chatty, helpful and very efficient. I have been twice for lunch , both times really tasty food, served politely and quickly . You get a refill of your coffee for the bargain price of £1.75 ! Cakes are huge slices for £1.75 also.

The volunteers who run the café are welcoming and the food, which is freshly prepared is tasty and is of a reasonable variety. Relaxed atmosphere and wheelchair friendly access. Free refills of coffee just add to the pleasure of being there.

This is a wonderful sanctuary in the heart of Norwich to escape the hustle and bustle. Run by the Salvation Army and manned by the friendliest volunteers ever you can stop for a fantastic value lunch or afternoon tea and once the door shuts all the noise of the city is shut out and quiet prevails. Coffee was lovely filter coffee at £1-75 and your cup is refilled a little later.

A friend mentioned this lovely little eatery, warm and homely and tucked away. We decided to take a stroll and found this amazing place, staffed by warm and welcoming volunteers, serving scrummy cakes and puds, whats not to like. First visit coffee and cake, second visit fish finger bap to die for and jacket potato with beans and side salad, top ups on coffee, whats not to like. We will be going back and soon, Do yourself a favour and check it out you will not be disappointed. 5 stars and all fresh daily, go on, spoil yourself, and you will be pleased with the cost this is really value for money.

Hidden away but well worth finding. Lovely home cooked food and excellent friendly service in relaxed surroundings. So much nicer than the more commercialised outlets. Try the lemon bread and butter pudding!!! Amazing! Cannot recommend this lovely place enough. Thank you to the lovely staff.

If you want a very reasonably priced lunch then this is the place to go. Nothing fancy but good food and friendly service. We had an excellent poached salmon salad with roll and butter for under £5. Daily hot specials, fresh cakes also available. Open Monday to Friday 9.30am-15.00pm

Popped in for a beer, and to book a table to watch the 6 nations with friends. Easily done , food can be taken in whilst drinking in . Decent beer.

I left sad and annoyed. I have favourably reviewed this cafe in the past but it has all changed now, and not for the better. The kitchen has gone, and with it the expresso machine. Frankly, this can hardly claim to be a cafe. I paid £5.70 for a miserable excuse for a cappuccino and a flapjack. The coffee was very weak, with thin froth on the top. The flapjack was decent, but the bill was a joke. I will remember the old days with affection, but I won't be going back.

I was looking for somewhere to have a pot of tea and do a little work and stumbled on this little cafe. What a lovely place - felt really friendly, warm and cosy! The world needs more independent cafes like this!
