So prefer the old cafe because it felt like a cosy large living room with the sofas and service was great then, could watch people shopping and relax in a lovely atmosphere ,we used to look forward to visiting. Not any more, won’t be returning any time soon, Went to the new cafe today it was very uninviting, seating just basic, food took ages and was cold, staff rushed off their feet. Could tell by the amount of food left on the plates on the tables that it wasn’t very good 😌

Undercooked gammon, chunky chips were grease laden sticklets. Broken and ripped seating. Waited ages for the bill

Warm food sent back, came out again slightly warmer not impressed. £50 for small bowl of chicken & chips with spicy sauce rubbish.

Great service for 17 people by Carolyn and gabby. Pre-ordered first 2 courses and food arrived without a hitch. drinks constantly replenished, and tge food was lovely

Ordered a bacon and egg bap, and I'm pretty sure that was clear, but when it arrived it was a cut in half breakfast sausage in a bap. Not impressed, but I still ate it.

Very over priced for what you get, had X2 cookie dough desserts with a coffee and a milkshake (pretty much just cream with a dash of chocolate sauce) which came up to £35, small portions will not go again,

We had a superb breakfast which was fairly priced. The staff are just so nice, very friendly and helpful and the service delivery is excellent. Really nice coffee as well, which is better than major coffee shops.

We love Simmons but this branches hygiene standard are well below acceptable,the tables are always dirty and always have empty cups stacked waiting to be cleared ,crumbs on the floor and tables ,really disappointing.

This is my go to coffee shop in both Hertford and Ware as I don't do big chains but, I have to admit their cups are tiny and would be classified as small everywhere else. For £3.95, the cup should be slightly bigger.

They don't like homeless people eating their food and drinking their coffee. They will ask the homeless to leave the premises when they are eating and drinking coffee purchased from the store.

Nice rustic feel and friendly staff. Tasty food and nice ambience.. for lovely hot chocolates and two very hearty English breakfasts
