Went there today with my daughter, the place was nearly empty. Dirty tables and the floor around them, full bins overflowing with empty coffee cups and other rubbish. One person at the till and he wasn’t too happy about having to work today. I ordered crème brulle brown sugar frappe and it looked and tasted nothing like one. Will not be visiting again , Costa is just across the road 😉

One staff member is amazing very friendly, they very good at delivery great drinks and a small chit chat.

They don’t even know how to make coffees Avoid this brunch

Extremely busy branch on arrival but luckily I ordered for collection via the app. Short wait for my frappé which was made okay.

Over-priced and so sweet it's borderline diabetic. Very expensive food for what it is and the defor is basic ..looks like they wanted to make savings

Please take your dairy allergies serious. I asked mine to be oat milk but the guy did not even write on the cup and just proceeded putting whole milk on my coffee…

Don’t want to be rude because I’m a barista and know what it’s like, but I visited last week and ordered an oat matcha, i have a dairy allergy. The guy working was on his own and it was quite busy but I watched him with my drink and he used normal milk rather than dairy free (and in the same blender he’d made all the others in). Wouldn’t have minded so much as mistakes happen and he could just remake it but he told me he used the right milk and asked me to taste it ! (And I have an allergy). He did remake it in the end but just a note to managers to enforce the allergy policy !!

I’m a regular here cause I literally live just two buildings aside this starbucks and i had to write this down because of Cameron. Cameron is such a nice and kind human being, everytime he provides me the best service, and his caramel macchiato w extra sugar is the best. Im very grateful for the good experiences i always have in there and for the kindness. 🙏🏻

Great experience all round. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Tall guy (didn’t catch his name sounded a bit like Kevin possibly) was really fantastic, gave me a great recommendation for a drink I loved. Definitely switched my allegiance from Costa, will be coming back :)

Good service. The place is a quiet spot. Some comfable seating, but tables a little low to eat from. Staff briefly played intresting music from past . They chatted to customers they knew nice like that Strawberry over ice was refreshing. Haven't had it before

I visited the store on Saturday. It was a busy there was que . But I was quite fed up cz already had a long day . And then I was about to leave cz now I had to wait to get a coffee . But then this guy on the counter promised me to deliver the my drink in 2 minutes. As promised he gave it to me under the time . But very lovely staff . The way he spoke to me and tried to make me laugh . After this long it was so helpful of him .I'ld love to come here again .

Young staff in there acting like idiots running around behind the counter, being very loud and sending other staff members over to our table as a prank interrupting important conversations to make him look like an idiot.

Pretty standard starbucks, seating in front felt a bit awkward and uncomfortable but there is seating further in to the starbucks i didn’t try out but looked more atmospheric

This coffee shop I have visited now on several occasions, the hygiene leaves a lot to be desired, needless to say I will not be rushing back.

The BEST staff I have ever been served by, they are so lovely! Always remember my order daily, I work local and choose to go here multiple times a day over the other coffee shops down the high road. 5* for the amazing staff here they deserve a pay rise!

Lovely place but a bit lacking in atmosphere. No music, disinterested staff etc. No issues whatsoever but needs some 'buzz' to it.

Loughton branch Disgusting dirty place .Floor and tables were dirty and there was lots of litter on the floor .On entering the two members of staff were standing at the counter talking to each other as there was no customers waiting to be served 2pm . The toilet was filthy uine all over the floor and a strong smell of urine .The hand drier did not work and there was no toilet paper.Will not be visiting again.

Without doubt the dirtiest Starbucks I've ever been to. The Loo was a disgrace, worst than king's cross railway station public toilets! Chairs look like they've been chewed by dogs. Floors and general appearance dirty. Bad and weak americano. Avoid.

Don’t bother ordering from here coz they probably won’t have it in stock (but you’ll still pick what you want, pay for it and THEN they’ll tell you they don’t have it in stock in which case you’ll have to contact them for a refund) useless

Dog friendly, that's what I like. Staff super friendly. Free Wi-Fi, oh and the coffee is pretty pretty good too. Better than Nero's, Latte Larry's and Mocha Joe's for those of you that are into Curb Your Enthusiasm! Nice cakes and good selection of hot and cold sandwiches, rolls focaccia bread and wraps. Love the background jazz music too.

Overall, very good. Food selection is pretty good, large range of vegetarian and vegan options. Staff are all incredibly friendly, fast and helpful. Atmosphere was good, nice and relaxed place with plenty of seating and good music playing.

Really poor customer service and filthy toilets/seating area. I visit a lot of Starbucks and this is by far the worst I have been to.

Seemed like the person didn't care at all. Made a mobile order for 4 drinks... 3 of them sat in the back, because the barista I guess finished his shift? And literally just left without saying anything to his coworker. So mobile order took approximately 20 minutes Then got the order incorrect for something that was oat milk related, and the order was for someone with a lactose intolerance. Terrible service.

Sat for a couple hours and did paper work enjoying a chai latte, the service was quick and the staff friendly. Annoying some of the plug sockets wasn’t working so I had to move around a bit,

I wish I was able to give no stars as a review, 1 star does not justfy the poor service. No one picks up the store phone, even though the store is empty. I've given them a few chances, ordering through Ubereats. They have never been able to once provide my order with what I chose. I usually order a max of 3 drinks and yet they always manage to mess the order up by either providing the wrong drinks or given me a drink or two short. The management is poor to say the least, run by people that really don't know what they're doing. Customer service does not exist in their vocabulary. I would definitely NOT recommend this branch. I would advise to try either Cafe Nero or Costa.

Two customers in the store....no queue....was told at least a 15 minute wait as they were backed up with orders!!!! Firstly it would be best practice to prioritise customers whom have actually made the effort to come into the store....and is having the vast majority of your orders delivered on petrol powered mopeds in line with your environmental policy? Like most multinationals you preach a good game on the environment but in reality its all virtue signalling drivel. Won't use this store again.

I have been to this place it was modern , spacious , clean , tidy and up to date with everything. The coffee and the hot chocolate was tasty , delicious , hot , scrumptious and flavourful because they made with care and appreciation. The staff are friendly , quick , understanding , respectful and reliable which is good. It was pricey but worth every penny , go there and buy your drinks from there and if you don't you will regret it. You will make long life friends in there for good. I have been to buy hot chocolate and it is really chocolate , sweet , tasty and delicious so much that I still remember it to this day. You will even enjoy they caramel wafers and their sandwiches too , so you must try it now.

What a perfect place to stop and have a coffee break. The coffee was so good, and the staff treat there customers like we are family. Love this place.

Ordered a breakfast tea but it seemed very herbie. The guy behind the counter just didn't seem bothered. He did perk up when serving female. Place was empty whilst Costa and Nero were packed.

People serving couldn’t be any less interested. Genuinely awful attitudes (aside from old manager) who really nice. Come in here a lot and consistently poor service with what I would say would come across as going out of their way to be short sometimes. Hard to compute why as I am a please and thank you type of guy. Decided today I won’t be back. Doubt they will miss my money but I can’t validate bad behaviour. That would be wrong.

Without a doubt the worst Starbucks experience every time. Indifferent, untrained staff can’t make coffee or get an order right. Avoid

Awful service, used uber eats for a delivery, damaged and all unbeatable food, drinks feel through bag and all over my rug at street door. Starbucks loughton were no help. I understand its via uber eats but having no hoy with them. Nearly £20 wasted. Disgusting!!

First time I stepped inside and the costumer service wasn't great. There was 2 ladies, one of the ladies were busy preparing uber delivery, the other one was just at one of the tables chatting with costumers and she didn't even bother that I was there waiting for over 10min, until the other lady finish what she was doing to attend me.

Ordered at 10.12 am uber said on route long story turned up at 12 cold hard food could have been redone as it had the sticker on it 10.12 am almost 2 hours late i get its uber but still cold hard food.. Not good enough. 😔 And no sauce like we asked for just no good

I get the same drink every time I go and it never tastes right from this Starbucks only. The barista couldn’t care less whether it was right or not.

Waited for an online order 20 minutes as the guy didn't check the label machine...when I finally got the coffee it was cold and forgot the cream on top... Awful service.

I love Starbucks coffee but this place put me off so much. With costa, Gails and Nero surrounding, you can see that this place is very quiet while other places are very busy. I am writing this review because I love Starbucks Coffee and I hope that it will improve to meet the standard that it should have. Toilets are not clean and floors are not being cleaned properly and staffs are not paying attention to customers and staffs are not actively doing their jobs. I am sure that this particular Starbucks is not making money to cover its cost when it could have done better. I am worried for this shop and I hope the responsible person would look into the issues as a matter of urgency!!!!

Honestly one of the most expensive coffee shops in the land, but the new toffee nut latte is a hit with me. The coffee in general tastes great an as a treat worth every penny. Great atmosphere great customer service from this shop nice and warm inside as it was freezing outside.

Starbucks was always my number 1 go to coffee place and this one is just the best of them all. Amazing coffee... always.

Starbucks is one of those places that makes it impossible to eat something that's actually nourishing and revitalizing. I have a hard time eating there, or drinking without worrying about sugar content,Even their natural smoothies are filled with sugar! However i love it still. The atmosphere is great though, I love the low light and 'cafe' like vibe, however very few stores offer that specially now refurbished stores seems more commercial, not welcoming enough as in comparison with Cafe Nero or Costa Stores.

Half a cup of froth. Even after asking them to remove a bit and top up with actual milk. There is never anyone around cleaning the place, always a build up of crumbs and wrappers. Not a very comfortable place to sit and relax. Theres a lot of competition around...

As others have already said, it can get noisy at times with parents, kids etc. Apart from that minor moan, I can say that the staff are always friendly and the coffee from this brand is spot on.

Very nice. Drinks were perfectly made but I would say they did take a lot longer than other Starbucks around when there was only me ordering but other than that the men employee who served me was very polite and I think he is single to I’ll Be continuing to visit there the same day as his shift was on that day as he was a bit of me The main reason for the 5/5 was partly for the gl boy as the wait was long Sophia xx

I don't normally leave comments but I need to point out that I am very happy with the service I received from few employees of the Loughton Starbucks. Don't know their names but I think one of them is staff manager. They are very friendly, quick service and smile on their faces makes my mornings very happy. Thank you

The people that work at this Starbucks are just okay... just doing their job and don’t really care.. interesting experience as in Loughton the service is must different then the service in central london...why would that be? We all know ... diversity is the answer

So much for the all American charm. The staff here do not want to serve the customer, that’s why there is never any customers in the premises. They do not want to greet, acknowledge, or serve the customer. When I pointed this out to the manager, he called me a liar. But ignorance is bliss, when they have lost their jobs, and yet another Starbucks closes down! When will businesses ever realise - customer is key to success!

Love our local Starbucks, staff are always pleasant and helpful. Alfie is a great addition to the brand, very knowledgeable and I love that he always has a seasonal display :)

Had to keep repeating my order. The person on the till couldn't do more than one thing at a time! The person making drinks however couldn't do enough, they have there work cut out!

Nice place to have a your coffee, staff always pleasant but wish sometimes it was quieter as it seems it has turned into a nursery so expect nannies and mums with kids during certain hours which really makes it hard to relax.

Today I had the most DESIRABLE Caramel Frappachino. This is a must have cafe to go to. I would thoughrouly recommend this cafe.

Good place. Friendly staff. The only thing I have to say against it is the fact that in the morning a lot of mothers with young children come and the children are often noisy and disturb the other customers. If the children's parents don't do much to keep their kids disciplined, the staff at Starbucks should say something too, to make sure that order is assured.

i like starbucks as a rule but this one doesnt quite feel like the franchise in whole, the staff are nice but dont move with urgency. the coffee I ordered was wrong twice (and again the third time but I was in a rush to leave so accepted it). staff were busy chatting to eachother and not busy listening to the customers, shame as I looked forward to this on the high street which is finally picking back up again.
