Been there the waiter came start discussing with him and after that he said 1 second and went to another table to take the order 0 professionalism

Served us pancakes with no syrup or cream then told us it was an add on when we complained.. lovely dry pancakes yum.

Food inedible (cold), prices ridiculous, service pretty much non existent-shocking!

Shocking experience. Had a decent beer and wanted side of fries. These came soggy and rapid if that, was wondering how you can serve this quick. Went to our server and asked if they can be fried and hot and her and a chef put them as I watched them into a salamander and brought these back in like a 10 second. Her attitude was absolutely shocking. Go to other pubs in here

Very disappointed, jung girl with black hair was absolutely shocking, I did complain that our food it's cold she did take it back and after 2.5 min. She brings same order back telling that this should be OK. Now that was same plates as she taje it back... and was still cold Joke 😃

Morning breakfast, we got a table quickly, clean. Louise is a very nice and professional waitress. The only downside is that they don't serve toast for breakfast, it's the first time I've encountered something like that, I always got an English breakfast with toast and we waited a very long time for the bill. I recommend this restaurant, fresh food.

It was goooooood memory. Shiva's service was great! Even though I only ordered one beer, he guided me to a table near the flight information board, & I had a nice chat with my family. Next time if I go to London, I will definitely stop by on my way home😁 Thank u!! Although I was full, I wanted to have one last beer before my flight back from my trip to London. Shiva, the staff member who greeted me, guided me to the bar and recommended it. His service was really good! He guided me to a seat near the flight information board, occasionally came to check on me, and we chatted a lot. They are very friendly towards Japan, so I highly recommend them especially to Japanese people. A great memory with just one beer. Next time I come to London, I'll come back from Luton and stop by for a beer before heading back!

Very rude attitude of a manager name Joanna. Lady does not know any forms of ettiquette. Not customer orientated. Food is avarage. Tables dirty. I do not recommend this place.

The Cumberland sausages were of low quality and the waitress, Katarina, was very apologetic and kind. The manager only charged us for the two coffees and chips. Took both mine and the wife's meal of the bill. Saved around £40. Maybe in the future, I'll stick to the chicken or a vegetarian meal.

Food was awesome. Very quick service. Our waiter, Lionel was fantastic. Very attractive.

We had the sausage sandwich, bread was dry sausages were cold. The American pancake breakfast, doughy thick pancakes and we had to go up and get our own maple syrup even though we had asked for it from our server.

Leonel was a lovely waiter and made our experience very lovely.

Came here this morning with my husband. We ordered the Ultimate Sandwich and Smashed Avocado. Neither felt particularly significant in light of the price! I didn’t enjoy the flavour of the Smashed Avocado - it was much too tangy, and the Ultimate Sandwich looked a bit pathetic to be honest. Don’t think we would come back.

Everything is as you’d expect, good pub grub, good service. Attention to detail could improve. Nothing out of the ordinary though, all in all, it was pleasant.

Ordered a bacon & tomatoes sandwich the tomatoes were cut in half unable to fit in the sandwich the bacon was cold and the bread very dry

Louise who I presume is the bar manager makes the whole environment whilst getting served awkward with how rude she speaks to her staff. Talks to them like there a peace of meat in front of customers and raises her voice at them. Wouldn’t of blamed a worker for pouring a pint over her head.

Food is nice, good atmosphere. Irum the host is a delight and can't do more for you. The food is very expensive. £8.75 for a bacon sandwich is daylight robbery.

Leonel was helpful and friendly with recommendations. Steak and ale pie was hot, fresh and tasty with soft pastry and good quality gravy and vegetables. Pricy koppaberg at £8 a bottle however good atmosphere and efforts made to give us a window seat results in a 5 star review .

He approaches his duties with remarkable passion and dedication, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. As for the food, the Caesar salad with two pieces of chicken and lettuce with dressing was prepared correctly, but it lacked depth of flavor. The dish felt somewhat underwhelming, as it was rather simple and missing additional vegetables. The peach iced tea was also disappointing – its taste did not match what the name suggested and lacked any distinctive flavor. Overall, while the culinary experience leaves room for improvement, the outstanding and professional service—especially from Leonel—makes a visit to The Smithfield a positive experience.

Very average. £14 for a pint of Guinness with a gin and lemonade. The bar staff really need to learn how to pour a Guinness though. Not a bad place to wait for a flight though.

The gorgeous looking avocados on toast saved the experience at Smithfield. Cosy looking shelves with warm colours. The tables next to us had table service but we we had to go to the bar to order. Some waiters clearly avoiding eye contact. Very noisy. Would have been a 3 if it was not for the food.

Leonel is an example of how anyone in the service and hospitality industry should aspire towards. PROMOTE HIM NOW HE WILL BE PERFECT.

The server Leonel was lovely & very attentive

My flight was delayed so I ended up spending a considerable amount of time at Smithfield Luton Airport. Leonel provided me with great service. He was attentive and didn’t let me wait for anything. He moved me to a closed section of the restaurant to accommodate me when I needed to use a charger.

I’m a regular here and normally it’s very busy . This evening on Paddy’s day the staff have time to talk ! Leonel helped me get the best seat with power as I’m on crutches and couldn’t do enough ! Whst a helpful chap ! My 4 stars for the food reflects that I’m not keen on salt. All chips are salty and I wish I had the choice of having salt on my food or not . Otherwise, the Smithfield is the only place with an atmosphere in Luton Airport for me !

Leonel who served was very nice, polite and professional. Excellent service. Considering that this is a small menu, the quality of the burger should be there. Instead, the patty was very dry and hard. Only way to eat it was with lots of sauces.

The price of a green salad is 13.5£ (one person portion), in the menu is written “cesar salad” but it might be cleopatra not cesar, no bacon, no chicken, only green salad& grilled bread! If you don’t pay the tip when you make the pre order & pay before getting the food, you’ll get back a very unpolite behavior from the waiter!

The food was very good, with the vegetables being surprisingly well cooked (cooked just right) for airport food. Leonel was very helpful and personable, as was the young man at the entrance handing out the menus.

Leonel served me. He was attentive but not in a way that felt overbearing. He asked where I was going on holiday and was very nice. I just had some onion rings and a glass of wine but it was very lovely. Thanks so much.

Not much speed for an airport restaurant. Forced to ask for our glasses of water lots of times. There were 3 of us, only 2 dishes arrived, and the 3rd: never! We left because we couldn't wait any longer. The organization really needs to be reviewed

I have ordered scramble on toast and over 9 pound, when the food arrived it was literally small portion of around 2 eggs and simple dry toast! There was no butter nothing at all. Paying nearly 10 pound for that was ridiculous and felt like I’m being robbed. Definitely last time coming here.

We have been here many times before when we ordered at the bar. Now there is table service which worked well for us and the gentleman who served us was given a well deserved tip. Order no 9829

We've jumped in for a dinner and a few pints. The waiter Leonel was attentive and food was good.

So I've ordered my food scanning the barcode, the money leaves my bank having a statement saying I've paid, but their app says the payment failed !!!! A young so called manager in his 20's cones and says that if the app doesn't say the've got paid, he doesn't care !!!! Even after I showed him my bank app clearly showing that the transaction was made !!!! Rude and continuously interrupting, he eventually told me to get out of the establishment!!!! Unbelievable!!!!

Catarina was exceptional, she even kept an eye on our gate and told us it was open. If only all hospitality staff were like her!
