very very poor service in here, extremely slow and nobody knew where our food was. extremely disappointing.

Came in for lunch ordered 2 burger meals, service is friendly, food very disappointing tasted like either cheap burgers, or unclean grill, wasn’t sure. Slight smell won’t be returning for food,

The team and customers make everyone seem like one of the family. Being a Scotsman I am use to feeling the odd one out but with the landlord being a Scouser he is very inclusive!!! Amazing local !!!

Had a great night out here. Reasonably priced menu & very good food. Staff very efficient & friendly. Would thoroughly recommend. 👍

My husband and I enjoyed a good meal this evening and we were looking forward to eating steak. The cut of our choice is rump, you now only offer sirloin. It was cooked to our liking but is no where near as enjoyable as eating rump steak, which is much more tasty and a better texture. Not the fault of the staff as they can only cook what you sell. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. No complaints except the cut of steak. We would pay a bit more for rump.

3rd time coming here...we come from London and are visiting friends. Lovely pub/restaurant....food excellent and a very good price with some exceptional deals eg 2 meals fo£12.95. The staff here are absolutely great work hard and very obliging and a great asset to your team.

The food unfortunately is really bad! We had the Sunday roast and I couldn’t even chew the beef and left it all. Just mixed veg and so much bland mash. My partner had stomach issues minutes after having it. It’s a lovely place and everything else is really good but unfortunately the food is one of the worst I have had.

Had Hunters chicken, 👍❤️ Apple pie and ice cream. 😋

Chloe, Stacey, Kourtney have had the best service I have had in any bar. Put it this way if I was their boss I would pay them over 10% of what they are on now to make up for their welcoming, fast service, friendly smile and fast cleaning. Wiping down table like it was a high end restaurant. Respect these guys like they respect you 👌

Went in fir a drink. First, second And third glass were clearly dirty. Took a straw and drank from the bottle

Popped for what we thought would be a quick lunch. Waited 45 minutes for a starter of soup. Mentioned to the waitress how long we’d been waiting and her reply was “it won’t be much longer”. We asked her to bring the dessert with the meal. Then waited a further 30 minutes for scampi chips and peas. The meal was acceptable. However I feel that the whole place could do with a good clean and overhaul. Table and chairs were grubby. Door plates and handles extremely dirty. Other diners were also complaining of the wait times. The waitress was very kind, polite and helpful.

Down to earth pub however the toilets need a good bleaching as they smell of urine.

We had an old Kilburn boys reunion last Thursday in the pub. It was the first time that I had been to the pub and was impressed by the friendly atmosphere and great service. The beer was excellent and we stayed a lot longer than we planned. We were well looked after by Kourtney, Stacey and Anita.

Loved it. Dog friendly and the dog loved his puppy burgers. Good place for afternoon pint and watch the football.

Met up with some old football mates for a drink and a meal. It was a nice day, so we sat in a nice outside area. The pub was quite busy and bar service was good. The bar menu had a good selection and I noted that they had reduced prices for seniors from Monday to Friday. The food was reasonable but portions were on the small side and there was a bit of a wait before the food was ready.

Great place and amazing food for the price tbh.

I have always been a fan of the jolly milliner and previously The Boater . The jolly milliner was an amazing place to watch the recent Euros. The staff were amazing during that extremely busy time and assisted me a couple of times in booking a table for me and my family . Greg , the manager was very understanding even though there had been some complaints and went out of his way to sort things out so everyone could be satisfied . Looking forward to coming again soon and would recommend for atmosphere , price , service , food and location 👏

Second time going there. Had food and it was Great. Bar staff were friendly. Would recommend going there for food.

Worst place to have a pint and watch a game. Not family friendly, food is not great either, and they could really need to have a look at their bathrooms. Deffinetly not coming here again.

Had a party of 20 staff tried to serve us before them. Unfortunately they didn't but free drink and food worth 😋 waiting for.

Everytime my auntie and myself come to this pub it’s amazing. The best local going! Chloe, Jean, Kylie and Rose were incredible service for myself and my family. We all came for a leaving do and the service and loved we received was amazing. Thank you all so much!🤍

Nice local good value pub, but I don't recommend the 'Quorn Katsu'. It comes with more carbs than protein. The dish had only two small pieces of Quorn, and the rest was filled with chips and rice. I wanted Fish & Chips, but it was out of stock.

My friends and I often go on a Friday lunch time. We look forward to seeing Courtney who is probably the most friendliest and efficient pub team member we have ever experience in Luton. Love the service and the food. Thanks Courtney for being so helpful and always having a smile. PS the pub garden is great for watching the footie

Traditional local pub. Green King food and drinks. Great service, big car park and live sports on big TV's if that's your thing

Waited for ages to get served, then the bar person started serving someone who had just arrived. I said I had been waiting for ages. She said you'll just have to wait. Had an exchange of works as to what I thought of the service then walked out

We do the music quiz, hosted by Darren, on a Thursday. Highlight of the week, great quiz with a friendly atmosphere. We use the pub quite often and always enjoy it. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is good value

First time going here for food despite a number of years living close by. Damn, kicking myself, should have gone for food sooner as what an amazing local pub. Clean when you walk in, welcomed promptly by a member of staff as we approached the bar and told they would be with us soon as they were 3 deep at the bar. Taken to a table for 2, plenty of space to sit opposite each other and not feel too far away, but not close enough to have everything cluttered around us. Did have to ask for the table to be wiped as it was clean but felt sticky, done promptly by the staff member. Staff were all clean, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, polite and extremely helpful. First time someone has highlighted my allergy to raw tomatoes before I mentioned it, due to the booking info requested. 2 main meals from the Classic menu, a cider and a pot of tea, less than £20.00!! Food was tasty, full of flavour, well cooked and presented nicely on the plates. I can go on but all I can say is: GO HERE FOR GOOD FOOD, GOOD STAFF AND AN AMAZING ATMOSPHERE. Will definitely be going back, well done to all of the staff on shift at 19:30 tonight, a BIG thank you to all of you for a great time, being made to feel welcome and your understanding of our needs.

We come to this pub every Wednesday and this week was a disappointment. We had to wait over an hour and 20 minutes for two burgers and when they did eventually turn up they were not right anyway. One of them had a burger missing, we got one mozzarella stick when it is normally 3, no red onion again and the burgers were still raw in the middle. Simon the manager didn't seem to care at all. He was too busy eating his own burger at a table. There was no apology at all. Not good service tonight and very disappointing.

We went as a large group for drinks and a meal. The food was great and was brought out really quickly. The staff were friendly and happy to help. Kourtney was very helpful and no job was too big. The red haired lady with glasses that brought the food out, was very friendly and made sure we were all happy with our food. Great staff, great atmosphere and would definitely come back again!

Good food and excellent service from the staff. A special mention to K ( a gentleman of Indian origin ) whose name escapes me.

Amazing time at the Milliner and great food cooked by the chef Sophie, would definietly recommend as the service is very friendly. So many tvs as they show plenty of different sports. Ill be coming back for sure.

We went here on Monday lunchtime at midday. We waited an eternity at the bar for drinks as the lady behind the bar had to keep running back of house for items as the bar was not stocked. We ordered food and after an hour of waiting queried where our meals were. They were finally delivered and were stone cold. The server even put her hand on the food to clarify!! We asked for a refund. The chef came out to do the refund and apologised and said there was only 2 of them working and food had been sitting there and the Manager needs to sort it out. Well you certainly got that right. This is not our first bad experience here bit will be our last as we will not be returning.

Large Busy pub with lots of screens for sports , including an outdoor seating area with a large screen and parking. Pool, darts and gaming machines inside with plenty of seating. Get there at a reasonable time on Sunday as it gets busy and they do run out of some dishes .Great friendly staff

Went last night for festive dinner with 23 other colleagues. Excellant night. Everything was well organised. The service was first class, the meals came out on time and were hot. Everyone there made this evening an amazing team effort from the kitchen staff, bar staff and those who served us so efficenctly all night, well done the Jolly Milliner

I stepped out of my routine to visit for lunch. As I fancied the Steak and Ale pie. ordered at 12.35, it attived at 1.00. On its delivery, the pie looked very overcooked, but I was hungry. so attacked the chips which were spot on, nice and crisp but not very many. As the edges of the pie were burnt and dry I flipped the top off, very disappointed, and six small little cubes of meat, two of which turned out as fatty lumps of gristle that I spat out. So £ 9.49 for peas and chips. The pastry was good, but pointless with the sorry state of the indigents. Heating bearly on for a cold day, and many sitting in their coats. so, not for me to try again for a while. Staff friendly.

So hit and miss in this pub. Sometimes staffed well and sometimes not. The menu is quite good but the quality and presentation of the food can vary so much from very nice to quite poor. Not sure why.

Visited recently for a meal with my family (2 adults, 3 kids) Food was Ok for a pub that’s a sports bar. What made the experience excellent was the level of service we received from the FOH staff. Didn’t catch the young ladies names behind the bar but they were so helpful and were fantastic when engaging with my 3 year old daughter. Didn’t catch their names but they looked alike. What surprised me was how involved the GM got, Greg is a credit to the Greene King name and I can’t wait to come back, he isn’t what I expected…

Our dinner was outstanding my steak was cooked to perfection and my husband dinner was cooked to perfection. The staff were very helpful. Especially Jean lily and verity. Thank u guys for a lovely evening

I enjoy going to the The Milliner staff are always polite and helpful, food has always been good. I go with family and friends nice local, good prices and they have discos some Saturday and quiz nights.

Lovely staff and atmosphere, I occasionally pop in on my lunch break. If I lived nearer I would definitely spend a few evenings there 👍

Invariably we return to this pub 2-4 times a month and the service is normally outstanding with certain members of staff that are working. I am sorry to say on this particular occasion last Thursday the 7th sept the floor member of staff was incapable of her job. We were met with a very flustered person on the occasions she came to our table there was no smile or any conversation. Seemed to us that she didn’t want to be there and couldn’t be bothered. Needs to learn people skills and customer service training.

A fairly standard pub with a larger menu than might be expected. Lots of offers (burger plus thingy and widget for a tenner every fourth Zumpday in Octember in alternate leap years). Warned that the kitchen was behind and service would be slow, but it wasn’t, to their credit. Food ok, prices very reasonable. But no gluten free options except steak. Everything in breadcrumbs (chicken etc) or with bread/pastry eg lots of pies and burgers. Good alternative to airport hotels nearby.

Service poor, understaffed and slow. Long waits for food as I was told management only has one chef on. If you want a slow drink and watch the football probably fine but for a family meal service is too poor to make it worthwhile.

Fabulous local quiz night. Great atmosphere and teams (regulars and new faces welcomed). Only reservation would be there’s no air conditioning- so we melt a tad x

One of the young ladies at the bar didn’t smile didn’t greet us had a face tripping her up. She didn’t have good customer service found her very rude
