Definitely wouldn't recommend or eat here again food was just about warm cheese and tomato pizza only the middle of the pizza actually had cheese on and the rest of our food wasn't nice and it's very pricy

Two days in bed with food poisoning, can't keep anything down. Never again will I trust these pasties. Lady serving at the station pasty shop was unfriendly, stood quite a distance away from the counter and was obviously annoyed at me for not being able to hear her mumbling over the roar of passing trains.

I ordered a simple flat white. Not only was it a bad flat white with weird coffee grounds on the bottom but the waitress spilled half of it and just said oops here's a new saucer. Terrible service.

Outdoor area very dirty, massive cobwebs everywhere, empty glasses left on tables along with dirty ashtrays, cigarette butts on the floor, whole area in desperate need of a good sweep and wash. Management need to get outside and look. I selected the burger which was nice my partner ordered the Moroccan chicken skewer which was overcooked and very dry so much so it all crumbled and fell apart when he tried to get it off the skewer. Not sure if the place has new management but it’s going downhill unfortunately

Not the best Costa I've been to. Bit of a wait for the order but otherwise OK. Good choice of snacks available.

Haven’t eaten here for a few years after a disappointing previous experience. Easy to get a table as so quiet (due to prices?) served quickly by a nice waitress. Food (burgers and fish and chips) was very good but at least £4-5 overpriced. Drinks extortionate hence we only had one. Gone are the days you would go out to eat at CP and have a few drinks. If they reduced prices people would stay longer and drink more. No point keep telling us you’re keeping prices competitive, you’re not. Used to be able to get 2 cocktails for £12, now they are £10.50 each!

No toilet roll disgusting and inside the actual toilet right by where food is served. Not very hygenic and gave key back to staff

Popped in for dessert after a terrible Italian round the corner. I had white chocolate crepe and my partner had kinda cookie dough. Delicious!!! If this way again would definitely be back. Service was good, food reasonably priced and tasted lovely!

Loud music, insipid food. We gave our preferences but sandwiches very poor. Lots of cake. Would not recommend. 👎so many other options for sandwiches but this was very disappointing.

I have check back and it was ten years and one month since I last visited the Fox. I was quite scathing. However, things have very much changed and for the better. The staff are lovely, friendly and chatty and the place was very clean and tidy with some lively pub jokes on the wall inside and out. The food was great my only point is the fish was smaller than others in the area, but it was haddock, not cod, like others. Over all I would return and recommend The Fox to others.

Ordered haddock and chips it was obviously all frozen food and my fish was not cooked sufficiently. I won’t be going again.

Have visited a couple of times recently for lunch and Dinner would recommend a table by the window in the bar area Food is lovely well cooked and a pleasant atmosphere with friendly service, sensible prises would definitely recommend

This is the second time, first time thought it was the staff member’s bad day, today a different staff member, similar negative experience. almost like we are unwanted. Served cold peas with the fish and chips, I will not recommended this cafe

We were looking forward to our order. Why? Last time I had breakfast when we were actually there, it was memorable. Not just the company but the quality of the food. Today? The hot drinks are not hot but cold (I do not expect them to be hot just warm!) and the breakfast was already cold. I know it is raining and wet but for the food and hot drink to be cold, that’s something. I rarely give a negative comment unless it warrants one. It needs to be better service. I apologize.
