Every time we visit Saffron Waldens Starbucks the staff are always cheerful helpful and very friendly. The best Starbucks that we have visited

Can’t think I have ever been in a more filthy disgusting Starbucks. Tables, floors and basically whole shop floor FILTHY!! Do not even think about going to the toilets… 2nd rate toilets right there! Just awful! Will def not be back unless they buck up their ideas!

Staff are friendly and efficient. Coffee is excellent. The rating is because half the cafe is often closed so there are not enough seats.

I was quite shocked at the general state of this Starbucks. My Daughter lives in the town and I was visiting so she suggested we went there as i had bought a gift voucher for her for Xmas. The service was ok, the girl who served us seemed pleasant but generally the staff seemed rather dull and not particularly interested in what they were doing. A case of ‘ it’s a job I suppose’ attitude. Our table was covered in debris and was dirty so we moved the rubbish to another equally sticky crumbed table. I then went to ask for a cloth to clean it and the girl behind the counter just handed me a pile of brown serviettes! I used hand sanitizer to wet them and cleaned the table myself. About 5 minutes later a girl arrived with a spray and cloth- I said I’d already cleaned the table myself and she just looked blankly at us, shrugged her shoulders and walked off. The couple sitting near us on a dirty table just looked open mouthed as she walked away! We ‘ laughed’ about it and made some ‘ can’t get the staff’ jokes but it’s not good hospitality. As for the toilets….. well the word disgusting comes to mind. I would like to add that the place was quiet- very quiet so no excuses! My local Starbucks is awesome so again- no excuses!

Haircuts then a good chat with friends.. Nice cappuccino and cookie... Allways friendly staff.. And chilled atmosphere

Still only one loo open, staff don’t seem to be enjoying their work. Waste of time refurbishing site a while back. Costa seem to be doing well. I wonder why!

Only one loo open. Loo seat broken, urine and hairs yew! Tables dirty. Lipstick on cup. Won't return.

Stained cups, dirty tables that aren’t cleared. Coffee splashed on the walls. This place could just do with a good clean. Poor show.

After a terrible breakfast and coffee from next door Wetherspoon I had to grab a REAL coffee from this place and they did a good job! Just magnificent flavor! Mission accomplished! From now and on this will be my spot every time I travel from this airport.

Essendo in anticipo abbiamo deciso di prenderci qualcosa da Starbucks. È carino come posto, in entrambi hanno messo la panna montata! Il Frappuccino è freddo ed era molto buono. La cioccolata era calda ed era anch'essa buona!

Most of the time, you know what you are going to get with Starbucks. A selection of mugs to attract you, a select of good looking food to entice you, and the usual drinks selection plus any current specials or offers. Ok, they had run out of the special, but since I had tried it elsewhere, it was less of an issue for me. Sorry for the disappointment for others. You tell them your craving, they get your name wrong, you wait. Shame that they can't add a smile. Hey ho.

Just had coffee & teas here on Sunday before a flight. It seems strange they write your name on the container then pass it on to another staff member to fill. Dear enough fir what it is.

Good caffe latte at Starbucks and good service As per all Starbucks a very varied drinks menu with lots of choices.

Every fortnight or so, I catch up with my friend who works elsewhere either at Costa or here, generally a pretty high standard despite a few names misspelt!

Worst service EVER!!! Totally dessapointed, love Starbucks, normally the staff is nice and friendly. Got my order wrong, my name wrong, rude unfriendly. Will go to Costa next time!!!

Pedí un batido, no había ninguno... Pedí té helado, no había ninguno... Así que lo que pueden pedir desde allí si las cosas que quiero y ver en el menú y por supuesto todo el Starbucks no puedo tener? Si no tienes algunas de las cosas deje que el cliente antes de entrar, los desperdicios porque mi tiempo de pie en una cola para averiguar que lo que quiero se acabó.

Podía ver claramente dos nuevos empleados que luchan, pero su directores estaban charlando alrededor en lugar de tomar las cosas en sus manos.

Come ogni Starbucks la qualità dei prodotti è elevata, sia per le bevande che per i dolci, assolutamente fantastici! Personale...

La qualità dei prodotti è identica in tutti gli Starbucks, qui la differenza la fa il servizio: sono velocissimi!

Stopped here on way to flight to pick up coffee and cookies. Heaving with people. Service good, coffee good as usual, cookies too. Main problem was the huge crowds of passengers totally filling every available seat in all the cafes/restaurants and departure lounge. No where to sit down. And this was 5:30 am on a Thursday morning. Wouldn't like to be here at peak time. Newly renovated departure lounge big disappointment. It felt like a deliberate hard sell from the moment we cleared security winding our way along the long and winding black starry road to the gate. Not impressed!

I've patiently queued and waited for the slowest servant ever NAMED DORA then I gave up the idea of drinking my chai latte which I was buying for my friend and I losing 7.20 £ because I was about to lose the plane. There were 3 people before me and I had 10 minutes. I waited 15 minutes just to see a person queueing behind me being served first, nearly missed the plane, wasted 7.20£, and got also a "I've only got two hands". If I were her manager she would be fired immediately. I often fly on stansted but never in my life I'll come back.

I enjoyed my stop off at this Starbucks as I passed through on a trip to London. The seats are comfy and the staff are friendly. It's a busy spot but the seats are far enough away from each other for some privacy. I also found it interesting that this Starbucks also served wines and plenty of choices in sandwiches and snacks which might be of interest to some people but can be over priced . The coffee itself is the normal standard for Starbucks.

Recently travelled from this airport and was waiting in the lounge early hours (4am) for my flight.Surprising Starbucks was open at this hour serving their delicious range of hot and cold drinks, food and cakes!A great seating area too!!

I had coffee and the new coconut muffin! I was very stressd with my flight being delayed, but the service and atmosphere were so nice that it just made my day! Very interesting menu: cooked food, wine!

Super rude service... I know it's early morning but if u r not on the mood to work, better to call sick and stay at home in ur bed!

I called into Starbucks for some pre-flight refreshments & was quite surprised to see bottles of beer chilling in the fridges. Not only beer but bottles of wine sat on shelves behind the counter. It was great to see Starbucks branching out at Stanstead. They also served small plates of olives; flatbread; cheese, etc, but I believe both food & alcohol is only available in the evenings.As it was early morning I opted for a Pumpkin Spice Latte for which my husband had to wait in a queue for at least 10 minutes. The service was slow but the staff seemed friendly enough & to be fair, it was an incredibly busy café. Although there is ample seating inside & out there was still a struggle to find vacant seats.I have visited many a Starbucks on my travels but this one definitely stands out for its expanding drinks range.

We had a couple of hours to wait for our flight and decided to have a coffee and light bite to eat here we sat outside the restaurant and was very relaxing watching the world go, the coffee was great and lite snacks too

A quiet place with comfortable seats inside and outside, open almost around the clock. The usual good food and excellent coffee.

I had a good one hour to wait for my flight so decided to have a nice coffee. What a mistake! Long row , not a problem. Polish waitress was there only as a model and tried to give card with her name to everybody . My turn - I asked for latte and one guy came over to give forgotten scarf. He wasn't very pleased with the guy behind the desk, he even did not bother reply to him or take that scarf. And it was quite expensive brand. He was quite rude to someone to is so kind and did not take scarf with him. Back to my latte , took him while to ask somebody to make my coffee, even girl was free. I hoped he ask my if he can touch my card as he asked previous lady but he did not ask. Customer service at London Stansted airport? Crap! After this and what I saw coffee tasted horrible. At least if he smiled but his lemon face OMG!I'm working in customer service but I keep smiling all the time no matter what going on.And by the way they suppose to tidy up from time to time as there is space but everything is dirty or employe extra help. At least I know for the future I will never get a coffee from this place! Never ever again!

This ubiquitous chain is, er, ubiquitous and a chain. From Seattle to Shanghai these places are indistinguishable. That said, this exemplar, which is just of the Market Square has a few advantages: it opens semi-early (and at the time advertised, something not true of all coffee places in Saffron Walden), and the staff are cheerful and well-trained. Like most such places these days, it has fee WiFi. Unfortunately, while cozy and warm on a typical English day, on a day with fine weather there is no outdoor seating.

The Starbucks at Stansted airport will give you a lesson on how not to offer good customer service, the staff Stan around looking at customers in a queue with no effort to help, very arrogant and shocking service,What a joke they are!!!!!

I was really surprised at this Starbucks, it certainly didn't perform to the expected corporate image. I popped in to meet a friend as a half way destination, there was one other customer sitting in the corner - a business man who was working. The two members of staff were not exactly over worked but there were cups on about a third of the tables. The place looked like it needed a good clean. The cloth seat covers were marked but it wouldn't have taken much effort to bring them back up to standard. I asked for a herbal tea and was surprised when it arrived in a takeaway cup.. I was sitting in. ( I didnt bother asking to change it, what was the point ) The place started to fill up during the time I was there which was just over an hour and it was only as we were leaving that the previous occupants cups were cleared from in front of us. What was good about this place ??? The location was handy for the meet and the parking free.
