A Lovely simple breakfast, cooked well, Friendly staff and good coffee for a supermarket, ergo pleasantly surprised!

We have been here before and had decent food on journeys but this time was dreadful. I had a fish finger wrap (not exactly difficult to prepare). The tiny bit of side salad was stale and limp - literally inedible). The wrap was soggy and the fish in the fish fingers was grey and chewy. I took it back as I felt it would make me ill if I ate it and they did refund the money but I felt I had to say something here to remind them to up their standards. Inexpensive food doesn't and shouldn't mean inedible and revolting!

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Great for a freshly cooked breakfast or just a cuppa. Always clean and although it can be busy, the service is great

Orderd the breakfast which was cold when it arrived. I took it back and was rudly told that they would change it. A freshly cooked breakfast was brought out and plonked in front of me which would have been nice but was served on a cold plate. My wife ordered a pannini which was also practically inedible. Will never eat in this cafe again.

Great selection of plants, flowers, shrubs and other garden paraphernalia as well as gifts and food. Never seem to be able to find a member of staff to help when needed. The pet shop area is incredily well stocked and the staff are friendly and helpful. Also enjoy looking at the fish. Lots of parking. Nice outside cafe area but the cafe is a bit more canteen style and offerings are limited. It's dog friendly. Love that there is a Cotton Trader and Mountain Warehouse next door.

Poor. We arrived at the start of the day with few other customers. I had the full English which looked picture perfect. However, it was largely cold, especially the beans which I didn't eat. The sourdough toast was so thin it tastes and looked like a flatter Ryvita wafer. I would not recommend this as a destination for breakfast and won't be returning.

Had a great lunch there. Good food and service. I had pork with rhubarb and fondant potato.

Staff helpful and friendly . There’s a weird smell in there which put me off eating anything . The flat white was average .

Food looks good but is far too expensive. Service is usually good from the regular staff but can be hit & miss with newer staff members. However, recently there have been incidences of cash only or card only service and a couple of occasions where the dishwasher is broken and coffee is only available in takeaway cups. My objection to this is that the takeaway cups are larger than the china cups and most servers want to top up the drink with extra water - weakening the brew! Finally, the atmosphere in the cafe is ruined by the incessant noise from the coffee and ice-making equipment. This is bad enough for the customers but must be very stressful for the staff, who have to spend all day there. I have no complaint with the staff as the regular girls are working hard in difficult conditions.
