The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

I have been here twice before and both times have been super slow but my friends decided to finish a bike ride here. We sat at tables full of dirty plates and cups that was left for about half hour. I went in to order a drink and a panini and the staff seemed more interested in talking about surgeries and injections they have had. I then had to repeat my order because the girl wasn't paying attention. I sat outside watching people turn up and get their orders whilst I still waited for my humble panini. After an hour I went back in and asked if I had been forgotten as it had been so long? Zero apologies I was just told she would ask - eventually someone came out and told me it would be 4 minutes. At least ten minutes later it arrived - a "Panini" made of only crusts of bread which was odd. The food was ok but definitely not worth waiting an hour for. I don't leave bad reviews lightly but this was a truly awful dining experience and also made me late for arrangements that had been made. I will stick to Stop The World in future

Excellent to have our local reopen again . Like normal excellent service nice to have a landlord that genuinely cares about his business the man never stops working . Great team felt safe with Covid restrictions. Would just be great if the pay at table app was more consistent to help take the pressure off the waiting staff .

The coffee’s always good. But on a recent visit the card reader wasn’t working so the coffee tasted even better as they were giving it away ;)

Incompetent staff, rude . Made wrong order even thought explained twice.

1.5 hrs to deliver a cold pizza and wedges, no apology from driver, just walked away

Love Greggs, nice food and not expensive, but always busy so staff can seem stressed, maybe more staff needed and more experienced staff too.

Friendly staff on arrival , but the staple fish and chips was very disappointing, with wet fish ( frozen rather than fresh ?) , hard/dry chips and tasteless peas .

Had a fantastic time here last year so came back in half term with my mum and kids … absolutely awful. Rude staff, 25 mins wait for barista coffee/ tea … sat outside as people literally arguing over tables. Staff standing around chatting while only one person did the barista work … as someone who does this as a living I would have thought they would have all helped and got the drinks out quicker ?!

Doesn't get as busy as elsewhere, cute little pub, decent seating area outside. Prices not too shabby. Enjoyed a few drinks here.

Booked a table for 6 people on the phone for dinner. When we arrived I was pleased to see a board with my name on it on the table. We tried to order the food online via a QR-Code on the menu. The order was rejected by the system, so we did it all over again, only to be rejected again. We then tried to order at the bar, but were told (rather unapologetically) that no food would be served at the location because they had been overwhelmed by people who watched the 6-Nations Rugby earlier that day. So we left with empty stomachs and of course could not find a restaurant that had a table for 6 at short notice on a busy Saturday evening. We ended up walking home and get something delivered (2 hrs later).

This is the third 2 magpies bakery cafe we have been too. Both Blakeney and Wells are brilliant. The one at Holt was poor , floor needed sweeping, we were told 3 times they were understaffed. The food selection was very poor, no scones at all. We had to wait to be served, 2 other couples near us waited for ages to be served. I went to pay and had to wait ages. This is not the normal standard we expected from the 2 magpies, will not go to the Holt cafe again. Will carry on with the other two

Went for a couple of pints at lunch time, and had a lovely time. Delightful bartender, who was friendly, helpful and efficient. Good selection of real ales and craft. Comfortable and clean environment with a nice atmosphere, when we went. We're not local, but hope to go back for a curry one evening, as the menu looked great.
