Great place to have food and drink it is quiet so you can relax

Good service fast as usual the coffee was as expected for the chain. Can't give a 5 because I only had the coffee.

Whilst I like a Costa Coffee, I can't help noticing that a lot of their establishments are getting tired. Unfortunately, this one comes under that catergory. Friendly staff.

Ordered one coffee at 11:51 and told would be about 5 mins as only one person behind counter. Got coffee at 12:02.

Costa on London road north is a lovely place to go the staff are always helpful and going out there way to assist there customers the atmosphere is always relaxed up beat and happy thanks to the happy and smiling staff Ethan,Terri and Stacey great job guys look forward to all are returns

Just popped in after a visit to our bank. We enjoyed two gingerbread latte and a mince pie, pluss another two beans added to our drink collection.

Shop’s nice and clean and any other time I’d give the place a good review but the lady on the till today was so miserable I just don’t think I’ll return. Had the same experience with her before, I know customer service is rough and you never know what someone’s going through but when visits are spaced apart and it’s the same service? :/

Single handedly one of the most dead venues in Lowestoft, which seems incredibly hard to beat considering most of the high street is astronomically dead. Tables are sticky with spilled coffee and reek with a stench akin to swamp water, likely from reused cleaning equipment. Disabled toilet at the back of the shop is constantly propped open to allow for the pungent smell of discarded body waste to waft through the shop. Upstairs is also never open. The staff are nothing short of rude and disinterested, and give off a very harsh high school bully clique kind of vibe. Absolutely atrocious place to eat and every time I come here I feel nauseous. Finding myself often getting over charged for things as simple as a pump of extra syrup. Very unfortunate as this place could be really lovely with genuinely nice staff members and a good, harsh clean. Definitely would not recommend anyone go here if they don't want to feel sticky and sick by the end of their visit. : )

Coffee was fine but the place was dirty and almost empty. I sense closure is imminent.

A very welcome change to Starbucks (which has gone downhill drastically). Good facilities, great staff, good food and coffee. Most definitely will use again.

I drop in once a month, and I'm always impressed by the attitude of the staff in this branch. Last week, I dropped in on the way to a meeting, and realised they had a few new drinks on the menu but having forgotten my glasses, I couldn't make out what they were. The barista not only read out what the new frappes were, but offered their suggestions and described each one - left with a Blueberry Bubble Frappe, which is definitely a new favourite!

We only stopped for Hot chocolate.staff was very friendly and they were busy.they coped very well

Thankfully the member of staff that made regular coffee instead of the decaffeinated coffee i ordered was not there today, and yes, I do check.

I loved my visit here! The store is so cosy and comfortable and relaxing. Had a window-side table which was lovely and looked great. The drinks we got (the toblerone hot chocolates) were absolutely fantastic, and the food is great too. Staff were friendly and got orders out efficiently whilst still maintaining a high standard. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing sit down and a coffee!

The guys who work here are always friendly and cheerful. The premises is a little bit out of the way which means I do more steps to get there and it is generally not overcrowded.

Absolutely awful ,served by 2 Male staff who were the rudest people I have ever been served by,usually I am served by a lady who is lovely,but I have decided to go to Gregg's from now on.

Often use this Costa in town but past months not been good, but today tried it again, New staff brilliant nice hot coffee and excellent service will use again.

Like most of lowestoft centre..grubby, tired and in need of some TLC.

Lovely coffee as usual. Very poor customer service, young lad on his phone behind the counter and had a very bad attitude.

Been here several times. Only issue I've had is with the card machine not working in store.

Service is good and the quality of coffee is to the usual standard of any costa store. The toilets of the cafe are abused by the local undesirables which can really ruin both your experience and appetite. So recommend taking your purchases upstairs away from those constantly popping in to use the lavatories

your lowestoft store on london rd has a staff park for 1 car. for some reason rather than use it they take the only available space. (Parking is a premium) I have now asked her a couple of times to move but seems to take the space with leaving an empty parking space outside your store

I have a heart condition that is exasperated by caffeine. I order a skinny decaf cappuccino and get a regular cappuccino. I am now waiting for the palpitations to subside. THANKS VERY MUCH.

if you have a buggy its not really the ideal place to grab a coffee. The door scrapes on the floor making an awful noise. Once in its fine, there is plenty of room.

Recently opened! Very efficient and friendly place for a cup of coffee. All the staff are friendly and helpful. We have frequented over 16 different Costa shops in our travels, we also have visited all of the Costa shops on all of our PO Cruise ships for the last ten years. They are the “best of the best”

Called in for a hot drink on a chilly day. It is much larger at the back than it looks from the outside. Served quickly with no problems. Another average coffee shop.

Disgusting/Filthy unisex toilet,photo is of toilet brush in mentioned toilet 🤔 A replacement is half the price of their cheapest cup of coffee I'm sure!! Absolutely disgrace from Costa Coffee.

Standard Costa fair and facilities with friendly service which when the area is a bit run down is a welcome sight.

I am a local in lowestoft i have visited the costa about 3 times now and every time i am made to feel a nuisance staff don't smile speak or comunicate at all to make it worse the coffee i cold the first 2 times i had to ask for it to be heated up this last visit on the 23rd febuary 2018 i thought i will try dif coffee a special latte with lots cinnamon the girl who served me had a face like thunder she didn't crack a smile and it wasnt that busy at that time i got to table with my coffee in a stupid mug with handle to low so it tips up and top it off again its COLD i just left it not happy ... yet i will say the costa at north retail park lowestoft is fab great staff ,coffee good plenty of flavour and very hot pluss the staff smile and help with infomation on coffee if i want to try a diff one ... Gorleston costa is good aswell.

It was a cold windy day in Lowestoft and it was lovely to step inside here, into the warm. I asked for toasted sandwiches to be well cooked and they were. Lots of seating and a clean toilet. What more could you need.

Came in with my mum and sisters I was left feeling very disappointed! It took 10 minutes to get our drinks.. which were only Luke warm when we finally got them.. We were not greeted at all. No smile.. no conversation it just felt like we were an inconvenience going in there.. not one table was cleared in the 45 minutes we were in there never mind what we had to move from a table just to sit down.. the upstairs was blocked off even while it was very busy we even noticed that people were leaving again as they could not get a seat. However.. a member of staff said to one customer.. (guessing a friend of theirs) they could sit upstairs as long as they put the barrier across the stairs again behind them.. while it was very busy the manager sat having her lunch.. watching people move dirty cups and trays so they could sit down one man even took a tray into the private area so he could sit!! Not what I’d expect from costa standards.. just a personal point.. but it would have been nice to see a Christmas tree or decorations somewhere too..

Its difficult getting into the shop if you have a buggy/pram or in a wheelchair due to door opening outwards, unless someone holds it for you. Once in there is a narrow walkway where people queue to order & pay. Prefer to use the one on the industrial estate

Love costa at retail park North Quay. Fab friendly staff. Great selection of food and drinks. Great place to stop for coffee, lunch etc if in area shopping or to meet a friend for a chat.

Coming through the town from the train station to the bus station ... this is always a welcome sight.

For me, Costa Coffee beats it's rivals hands-down. Very obliging young lady carried our tray upstairs for us, our toasted panini arrived promptly, and the music was quiet enough to allow us to talk. Everywhere clean and well-presented, all staff very pleasant. Just what you want.

The Costa cafe in Lowestoft has been revamped and it does look good, the staff are very good the young lady who served me asked if I wanted semi~skimmed milk or full fat this is the first time this has been requested in any coffee shop I have visited so top points to Costa Lowestoft :)

Didn't visit for a while since they tried to charge me for an extra cube butter after giving me only 2 for the massive slices of toast!

Situated on a business park in North Lowestoft this Costa is a very friendly place to visit where the staff that served me were friendly bubbly people who chatted while making my coffee and made me feel welcome as though they had known me for years. I would definitely suggest to anyone either before or after their shopping to visit this very nice Costa.

rude mannered staff need to be checked was looked at by to members of staff and was not even acknowledged they even laughed and had started chatting finding this very rude me and the lady behind me looked at each other no words needed I then walked out and took my custom 2 mins up the road to Starbucks I will not be using the shop again.

We popped in here after a trip to renew our mobile phones and was initially greeted with a friendly server this very soon changed !! We asked for our order to go out and we saw the girl was making to drink in I also saw she was making the wrong order so when I pointed out that we wanted our order to take out and that she was making the coffee the young blonde girl refused to give us eye contact and really Rudely ordered her colleague to make the right coffee she then almost threw our order at us !!! I am a bank manager and if one of my staff had acted like that they would be rep remanded ... Go in here if you wish but get the older lady with glasses to serve you as the young girl didn't like to be nice !!! That said the coffee was hot and nice just a shame about the rude server

The last time I visited here I was very disappointed because of the décor BUT credit where credit is due that since the refurbishment this costa coffee shop is a very welcoming place to now visit where the staff appear happier which is may be down to their new work surroundings. Super coffee and snack. Highly recommend you visit this place.

Coffee & drinks are lovely as with all Costa coffee shops, but i like to be served with a smile or a hello, makes a person feel good, especially in the mornings!!

Always nice & clean inside. Didnt have to wait long to be served. Staff could do with smiling at the customer, i prefer to go where a member of staff wishes you a good morning etc

I recently met a friend in town and we decided to have a coffee and a chat in what we thought was going to be nice surroundings BUT we were sadly mistaken. The condition of the interior was disgusting because everywhere you turned there were massive patches of filler staring at you. There was a group of six elderly ladies sitting on the table next to us who made the comment, "this reminds me of the blitz". There was no sign up apologising for the state of the place if it was in the process of being decorated. The place has been like it now for a while, and if it was closed for a couple of days then the coffee shop could be decorated to the exceptionally high standard like the other Costa coffee shop in the town.

It is what it is, a coffee shop, Costa coffee is good and the staff are excellent, can't fault them.

Wife and I go here regularly, and service has degraded hugely since change in management.

Been here on several occasions and the staff have been quite frankly rude on more than 1 occasion. Manners apparently aren't important here as you never hear please and thank you and often just have things shoved towards you. Not a great experience!

We took my grandson for a drink & a spot of lunch. The food was nice. My G/Son decided he couldn't drink all his icy drink so we took it with us & left. As we walked out the doorway my G/Son slipped & the drink went all down his side. As it was in the doorway it was rather a mess so i returned to ask for a cloth & stated that they might want to mop it up before someone else slips. The staff were friendly but as my G/son was crying it would have been nice if someone had asked if he was ok, a couple of customers did.

Used to be great with leather seats and felt quite cool to be there - now its just turned into the McDonalds of the coffee world. Staff let down with low wages and decor leaves a lot to be desired. Over priced coffee, time to find a coffee house owned by someone not a multinational.

Been several times now to the north quay retail park costa. The tables are not cleaned properly and you have to watch that you are not sold stale cakes, they should know how long they have been out as they are the professionals!. The coffee is of the usual standard.

I deserved a hot choc and toasted tea cake.

Its a special treat we like to indulge in maybe a couple of times a month. They make a wickedly tastey hot chocolate. The staff always seem to be happy & friendly.

Went in hoping for sandwiches, only lunchtime, told there was nothing on offer, fridges empty, no explanation.

This place is in an industrial estate and a refreshment desert. It is near Lidl, a cheap supermarket outlet, so it is not obviously placed in the best bit of town. Having said all that it is an incredible find. Of all the Costas I have ever visited this one stands out for its efficiency and overall experience. Maybe they have had an injection of enthusiasm or whatever but the place runs like clockwork. The cleanliness of the place, even the bathrooms, is to be admired and it is a very busy place - obviously the word has spread

New Costa at retail park in lowestoft is good but boy staff need a rock booster any slower and the latte would go flat! Otherwise OK. Seems to be a common problem with Costa's in general
