The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Nottingham East Midlands

I've been into this store a few times either with friends or to do some work and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The only thing I would say about this store is that the doors are left open a lot, obviously something that the staff cannot help, just something to be aware of if you get cold easily!

We ordered a chateabriand for £70 for two. It was meant to 16oz of meat. Firstly, it was very disappointing that meat was all pre-sliced (which is not how the classic dish should be served) and we had a measley 3 slices each, it felt more like 8oz in total between two people. When the plate arrived we genuinely thought there would be another plate coming, it was barely enough for 1 person. We felt utterly ripped off of £70… basically we had a plateful of fries and onion rings with 3 measly pieces of thinly sliced meat each. We felt utterly robbed of £70 and will NEVER go back.

We received a really warm welcome from Blake who gave us perfect service and fantastic Coffee and Cake!! The whole team seemed a really happy bunch Well Done we will be back

Comimos aquí como habíamos reservado en el hotel. Para la cena tuvimos un subsidio de 28 personas por persona. El servicio del restaurante era bueno, el frente del personal era educado y amable y nos sentamos en nuestro tiempo asignado. Teníamos un aperitivo cada uno y estaban bien presentados y sabrosos. Mi esposa tenía el medio pollo asado y había un montón en el plato, ella no podía manejarlo todo. El pollo no estaba seco en absoluto y lo calificó muy alto. Por otro lado, el mío, que había pedido el bistec de Bavette, estaba bien. Era difícil de cortar incluso con un cuchillo de carne y era muy duro, aunque se cocinaba a fuego medio. No creo que vuelva a ordenar esto. Prefiero pagar el extra e ir por un mejor corte de carne como el solomillo o el chuletón. Esto no es una crítica al restaurante en sí, sino a la calidad del bistec. El servicio era bueno, ya que estaban atentos y siempre se aseguran de que todo estuviera bien. El pastel de queso que mi esposa tenía era muy bueno. Recomendaría este lugar para comer.

Since I last posted it's gone downhill, Aircon blasting out when not nessasery, an when asked to turn off they don't do it, who wants to eat a meal in a cold place , very very poor 😞

Lovely little craft beer place tucked away in the city centre. Well worth seeking out. Great choice of cask and keg beers from local and top brewers.

Over the years Valerie Patisserie as been out 1st port of call for coffee and cake. Today, we noticed on arrival only 2 tables were being used. Said good morning to the lady behind the counter and sat down. From then it all went wrong. Young guy came up go us saying "In future wait to be seated I'm on my own. And if your eating with us your on the wrong table. To low". Neither of us replied as we were totally taken aback. On that we got our belongings and left. Ventured to Cafe Ori and got fab service. 17/04/24 Further to my review I did get a reply back from PV asking me for more details of our experience to which I sent. Including pictures. I then received an email on 11th from their Head of Operations introducing themselves asking if they could call me. No call.

Visited today Tuesday 14th Jan 2025. plenty of free parking nearby. Got a seat ok. A nice well priced menu. Order and pay at counter and order delivered to table. the coffee was very nice and the toast with marmalade was ok. very friendly service

Absolutely awful service. Beyond rude staff. The main server was the most impatient girl I feel I’ve ever come across. She got my order wrong, as I asked for an iced latte. I was given a hot one and let her know it was wrong. No apology, just a roll of the eyes. The barista was shouting at them all and she also definitely was the most patient of people. I was eventually served it in completely the wrong cup and then it was just plonked on the side. No acknowledgment towards me at all. I feel they need to employ staff that actually like people. Their current staff clearly don’t!
