The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Nottingham East Midlands

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Browns as I generally favour small independents over chain restaurants. But I have to say I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised just how good the food was. I had the crab starter and beetroot salad main. A shout out too for server Ruby and the manager (sorry I didn’t catch her name) who were both excellent.

Muy decepcionante, paga más de 3. 50 para una chaqueta de papa con mantequilla y queso. La papa estaba tan fría que la mantequilla ni siquiera se había derretido. Tuve que calentar en el microondas la papa fría y dura cuando volví al trabajo. Por lo general, tienen buena comida desde aquí, pero normalmente la visitan a las 12.

Comimos aquí como habíamos reservado en el hotel. Para la cena tuvimos un subsidio de 28 personas por persona. El servicio del restaurante era bueno, el frente del personal era educado y amable y nos sentamos en nuestro tiempo asignado. Teníamos un aperitivo cada uno y estaban bien presentados y sabrosos. Mi esposa tenía el medio pollo asado y había un montón en el plato, ella no podía manejarlo todo. El pollo no estaba seco en absoluto y lo calificó muy alto. Por otro lado, el mío, que había pedido el bistec de Bavette, estaba bien. Era difícil de cortar incluso con un cuchillo de carne y era muy duro, aunque se cocinaba a fuego medio. No creo que vuelva a ordenar esto. Prefiero pagar el extra e ir por un mejor corte de carne como el solomillo o el chuletón. Esto no es una crítica al restaurante en sí, sino a la calidad del bistec. El servicio era bueno, ya que estaban atentos y siempre se aseguran de que todo estuviera bien. El pastel de queso que mi esposa tenía era muy bueno. Recomendaría este lugar para comer.

Visité con amigos. Compre una bebida con sobreprecio que vino con dos moscas gratis. Destacó esto al gerente que en lugar de disculparse, declaró “no puedo probar que no entraron allí después y no te voy a dar otra bebida” (ni siquiera había solicitado una nueva bebida en este punto... ) Declaré mantener la bebida y en su lugar le daré una crítica honesta. La asistente del gerente se acercó y dijo que si había más bebida, entonces podía hacer algo. Obviamente mi culpa por no identificar las moscas antes. Numerosos lugares mejores para visitar en la zona. No volvería a visitar y aconsejaría que otros eligieran un lugar alternativo también.

Great staff, quite busy and loud but over all had a great time.

Can't moan at 4.49 for 2 pints even tho it was Worthies and Carling but totally lacking atmosphere, think I'll continue being a NeverSpooner lol

Waiting for ages just to sit at a dirty table and get served the wrong drink.

This charming café offers a beautiful view of the lake, creating a lovely and inviting atmosphere. It’s wonderfully clean and cozy, making it a delightful spot to relax. However, I believe there’s room for improvement in the food quality, as it hasn't met my expectations. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the staff could be more welcoming, as they seem to struggle during busy times. I really hope these aspects can be enhanced, as I would love to visit more regularly!

Fab small pub..lovely atmosphere and a terrific list of beers. Also nearly always stock a lovely Magpie Ale which is always a decent pint.

Daleside Costa is really good, great staff, always friendly and vibrant, decent food and fantastic coffee.

Over the years Valerie Patisserie as been out 1st port of call for coffee and cake. Today, we noticed on arrival only 2 tables were being used. Said good morning to the lady behind the counter and sat down. From then it all went wrong. Young guy came up go us saying "In future wait to be seated I'm on my own. And if your eating with us your on the wrong table. To low". Neither of us replied as we were totally taken aback. On that we got our belongings and left. Ventured to Cafe Ori and got fab service. 17/04/24 Further to my review I did get a reply back from PV asking me for more details of our experience to which I sent. Including pictures. I then received an email on 11th from their Head of Operations introducing themselves asking if they could call me. No call.

i had bacon cob and coffee, was ill for four days. i was on loo a lot every day.i was house bound.only other food that day was weeyabix in morning.coffee was very strong.only plus staff were polite.

spoke to a lovely girl named tasha and she was truly a gem! absolutely wonderful human being! made my night ten times better!!

Absolutely awful service. Beyond rude staff. The main server was the most impatient girl I feel I’ve ever come across. She got my order wrong, as I asked for an iced latte. I was given a hot one and let her know it was wrong. No apology, just a roll of the eyes. The barista was shouting at them all and she also definitely was the most patient of people. I was eventually served it in completely the wrong cup and then it was just plonked on the side. No acknowledgment towards me at all. I feel they need to employ staff that actually like people. Their current staff clearly don’t!
