Went for breakfast was pleasantly surprised last time I went for breakfast it smelled like rotten beer lol anyway breakfast was lovely fresh hot and tasty a bit tight on the baked beans tho lol. Love the bottomless hot drinks. In these hard times for many people a couple of hots drinks for £1.49 is a bargain. Will be coming back just for the drinks alone never mind the lovely breakfast 🙂. Friendly staff, young man very pleasant and went out his way to get me some sauces 🙂

No service when bar is full. One person as usual. No coffee machine so the normal working man can't get a pint without a 10 minute wait. Sort yourselves out guys.

We had visited our local weatherspoons - The William Peverel JD Wetherspoon. We had the best ever expereince and serive by Nicole. She was very caring and welcoming throughout. Helping us with anything we wanted or needed to make our meal the best. Defiently hoping she is appreciated for all of her care and hard work to give the best expereince for customers at this Weatherspoons! Thank you!

Food spot on as always, atmosphere is as always, service lost the star on this visit... I mean which manager/staff member doesn't check chairs? I sat down and went through it! So I decided to move the chair out of the way and get a different chair oh which a team member approached, oh what's wrong with this chair, and quite visibly, the seat wasn't attached.... he didn't even seem bothered I went though it...

Very busy establishment, hard to find a seat. Great bar staff, very efficient and polite. Clean tables, glasses collected regularly, clean toilets, alcohol is very reasonably priced, and a wide choice. Good location in Bulwell town centre, nearby car parking, and a good bus service to the town.

Food was lovely. Alcohol was good too but kids stay safe from it. Waitress dropped my food first time round but she gave me some free stuff to accommodate. She's a lovely woman too. There were no fights sadly cuz I love a bit of a bulwell scrap. Was a bit of shouting though I might aswell add but I enjoy it and no exception here. 10/10 must visit will come back here soon hungry for more

Since I last posted it's gone downhill, Aircon blasting out when not nessasery, an when asked to turn off they don't do it, who wants to eat a meal in a cold place , very very poor 😞

I'm not a huge fan of wetherspoons, but I really can't complain. The food was delicious and came out surprisingly fast and at a great price . The service was good, and the building itself was a pleasant surprise. My only improvement would be if the pizza was pre sliced or came with a cutter instead of a steak knife.

Afternoon meal in the Billy Peverel before a T20 match at Trent Bridge later that day. The Billy P is one of several thousand Wetherspoons establishments dotted around the UK. If all the lights were turned on in every Wetherspoons in the UK at the same time, when viewed from space, an outline of a sausage and a fried egg would be visible. If you squint, apparently. Still, back to business... It must have been a busy day in the pub by the time we arrived. Most of the plates and glasses were still dotted around the place, waiting for the Wombles to arrive and tidy them away, seemingly. The dreadful carpet was exceptionally tacky in parts and the pub just felt like it needed sterilising. Our food arrived after a medium length wait, a chicken strips meal and a wrap with chips. It was almost hot, but reasonably well cooked. The chips were a tad stodgy but passable. The meal filled a gap and we headed out the door, cricket bound. Nothing to write home about but we've been in FAR worse places.

Do you know we were highly surprised by how nice it was the service on point the food delicious 😋 and a really great atmosphere. And it wasn't too expensive for 6 of us £50 with drinks

Well I must say,a improvement from when we went the last time, especially with tables being cleaned and wiped down, I can see what they have to put up with, for instance, families with kids leave tables in such a mess and food all over the floor, makes me wonder what they're like at home.its a busy place and most of the time, you have a job trying to get a table.I really think it needs a refurb, it's just so dull and depressing.yesterday though,we noticed the food had improved, and was actually hot.a special mention to Alex, a young lad who was serving our table, he was polite and happy to help.come I'm weatherspoons, start putting some of the profits back into your pubs, and I'm sure your customers will appreciate it.

The taste and service are very good, and the price is acceptable. Pleasant to eat

This has to be the worst experience ever, kids running riot screaming and shouting, full of tramps that have no table manners whatsoever, we had to leave our food and drink and go elsewhere, this place is full of drug addicts and low life scum, the management doesn’t seem to have any control, this establishment needs its license revoked and closed down ,STAY CLEAR !!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been here many times before but this time my wife ordered the steak medium/well and it was still mooing. I asked them to cook it longer for her after bring it back the blood was still pouring out and extremely red on the inside. Also please bring back the 6oz burgers because the 3oz ones are way too dry for being over cooked to quick.

Spoons is spoons, my only complaint was there were dirty tables and rubbish on floor.

Had a veggie breakfast. Toast was stall. Beans were cold. Only good thing was the Hash Brown's.

Having to clean your own table using toilet tissue from the WC was bad enough, as was clearing up the glasses. But looking at the now black toilet tissue it tells me this table hasn’t been cleaned in quite a long time. Poor hygiene and disgusting.

Good food and drink at good prices

Haven't eaten there in a while but was passing so decided to have dinner out. Wish I hadn't, Mix grill was terrible, meat was like Road kill, chips & onion rings soggy, peas like bullets and a ungrilled tomato..never again!

This "Cabar Le" bar serves curry food, which is delicious. But the fish and chips are over.

Well what can I say, it's basically a dump, table's not being cleared, I had to ask to get it cleared, then after clearing it, they didn't wipe it down, after previous customers had sat there.the whole place is dreary it's in desperate need of a makeover, the decor is quite depressing.food wasn't too good either, meals being left on the warming shelf way too long, before being delivered to tables.i think they need more staff, tables are very sticky and stained, from not being cleaned.its always busy, so therefore I just don't understand why they don't employ more staff.

Chicken burger taste like puke one bite made me sick, staff always take orders wrong also. Used to be a great place to go for a night out and bite to eat but it's gone down hill. I don't recommend eating here.

I was shocked at the price when the food amount is so small so if you wanted veg with you steak you'd only get chips nothing else which was a surprise but apart from that a nice place to go

The only fault I found was the manager rude sarcastic ,and she gets her staff to avoid servicing you tried to order a meal for 3 with would of cost £40 everything I asked for no hasn't got it ,yet meals was being served at other tables ,she really thinks she owns the place ,I f was the director I would dismiss her ,it's the first time there the staff are very help full but her ,that's what you get for a sival question

I love a trip to the pub, when the first thing you have to do at your table is go to the disgusting toilets to get some dampened toilet tissue to wipe down the table yourself. Lost count the number of times I have had to do this, I should get staff discount. To add insult to injury, there’s currently five staff gabbing to each other basically not doing the jobs they are paid for, and the queue at the bar is growing. If the BBC ever made a faulty towers about a pub, this should be the location.

Been eating in weatherspoon for along time and it's not been to bad BUT tonight I was completely gobsmacked when my steak and kidney pie mash and peas came out I thought I ordered a child's meal but I was starving so I wanted to eat it, but when I cut open the pie and scraped the 3 tiny pieces of meat out of it I felt like I was robbed it was very insulting, not be going to eat there again ,

Love going there. Food is always excellent, hot and quick. Was disappointing this time. We got there just after 6pm and they had ALREADY run out of the Christmas menu extras on the menu.

Manger was so rude I forgot my ID I’m 21 I was with my mom she told us to finish are food and get out with an attitude, racist women, she hadn’t asked ID from anybody sitting there, very bad behaviour, will be seeking legal advice about this.

Didn't have any food, but it was prompt coming our as always. Not too busy, nice relaxing Sunday lunch.

We had breakfast here today. Had the large breakfast which was better than expected. There were 2 of everything and tasted pretty good with the exception of the very cheap tasting sausages which let it down. It was all clean with plenty of tables and different rooms for chairs and tables or relaxation settee and tables. Atmosphere was good. Would definitely try again but soo let down by sausages! Can book once sat at tabke and payed online. Service was quick too. Nice easy parking in Tesco's with a 2 minute walk. Would definitely go again but may not eat the sausages next time!

With son he 21 old he order a alcohol drink forgot I'd got photo sent off it would not allow would not give replacement drink said not allowed company policy so only got food but paid full price the manger had a rude attitude do not recommend this pub at all

I entered the premisis at 18:00 hours in hopes to get sloshed up to my eyeballs. The first vodka lime soda went down an absolute treat, followed by a double vodka orange. I later on received the best chocolate fudge cake of my entire life which was served by none other than the ginger girl who was very reminiscent of a prime Jack Colback, who even brought a napkin for the messy dessert ahead. The way she constantly scanned the floor for space, checking over the shoulder to see if there was space in behind table 28 and due to amazing vision of the establishment she was able to find space upon the table and slot it away like a prime Lionel Messi on a cold champions league night. Great service all round and the assist was PUSKAS worthy and I think she deserves a raise with an extended contract. Couldn't recommend it enough, beat away day ever!

Love this pub normally, but not tonight, rude staff, dirty tables, not cleaned from previous diners for the 3 hours we were there. Lazy staff spent time talking to their friends and family, rather than working for which they are paid to do.

We walk the Bulwell river walk quite a lot. It's always nice to call for a lunchtime glass of wine in this pub. The staff are always friendly .

Chips are awful. Staff is wonderful, atmosphere is what you'd expect. Worth it for the price

Well it’s in Bulwell, which I assume you know because you’ve been? You’re going? Or you were going to go? Anyway, the building is beautiful (as with most, not all, spoons.) It’s efficient, friendly, cheap and clean. Nicely air conditioned too. Big thumbs up for Charlotte who is a star ⭐️

Nice food but we had an issue with the child's pizza, wasn't happy with it and asked if we could swap for another dish, asked to speak to the manager JAKE, he was rude and told us we couldn't swap a CHILDS dish like cmon matey it's food for a kid, he was going on like the money would come out of his wage, rude rude rudeee manager no customer service skills whatsoever:/

It's conveniently located in Bullwell Town centre. It's a lovely and well decorated historical building... the staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was good, but the meat is overcooked for a mixed grill, so it's dry! Drinks service at the bar is efficient!

AMAZINGLY HELPFUL AND UNDERSTANDING TOWARDS YOUNG PEOPLE WITH ADDITIONAL NEEDS!!! We went back to weather spoons as use to come here regularly, lovely food nice staff relaxed setting! we always found this place helpful and friendly .. My son has autism and has sensory processing disorder! This makes going places a bit of a challenge! He only eats and drinks very specific things...so drinks can be really hard..we ask places if we can buy the glass...so you pay for a drink but use your own drink never mind doing this as it's understandable {places don't let nor like you to use your own food&drink } the place doesn't lose out on the payment and my son get to have a drink of his own choice! We have been turned down even though they make money and keep their product in places.... When I explained and asked not only were we allowed to use our own drink we were not charged for a drink in its place!!!!! Nor did we get funny looks or judgment.....we found this place couldn't be more helpful friendly . We had a delicious meal.. My stake was cooked beautifully.. Brilliant value.. Happy son.. Happy and full brother.. And happy me! Be back at least once a month from now on! THANK YOU to the young guy who served and helped us,and the lady manager for her help and understanding .....

It's located in Bulwell, so that should tell you something. Place was pretty much empty, and it's not a particularly nice pub. Wouldn't eat here. Surprisingly the toilets were actually maintained and not filthy.

Not always the best due to location. But the venue and staff are good and what you would expect for a spoons.

Plenty of seating available. The place was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and the food was just standard Wetherspoons food. Spent just under 30 quid between the two of us for a main, side and drink each, can't really complain. Sadly they had no pizza so they offered me another side of my choice.

Well,we have just been in here today to get together with family to celebrate a birthday,staff look like it's too much trouble to do anything for you, no smiles, just miserable faces.food was ok but presentation and price was disgusting, the toilets were terrible, I won't be going again,the beer might be cheaper but I'd sooner pay a bit more elsewhere.something really needs to be done with this place,

Decent food if you’re hungry and if you sit near the kitchen you can hear their music which is a good vibe when at a spoonies. Come here a lot with my friends, cheap drinks and good deals.

Very disappointing food was terrible had chicken strip you got lettice strewn around the bun and plate 2 tiny pieces of chicken ,they had no mayonnaise at all , was filled with screaming kids and loud mouth women absolute nightmare will not be going again how can a food place not have essential stuff like mayo disappointing dosent even deserve 1 star

Central on Bulwell High road. Clean, staff helpful. Plenty of choice in food & drinks at very affordable prices.Parking a short distance (free) to Tesco or opposite way to outdoor car park.

We've never had a bad experience at this Spoons and the building is quite impressive with historical photos and literature dotted about—all the seating areas have their own quirks and the staff come round often to clear up and check on customers. The bar staff are friendly and fast, the loos are clean, they keep the ice water and FRANKE machines topped up, there's outdoor seating with festoon lighting, the food is always served piping hot, and the general atmosphere is buzzing and family friendly. Great location being on the high street with connections via bus, tram, train, etc and there's free parking just round the back of Costa. You know exactly what you're gonna get with Wetherspoons, and this one's no exception—but they've gone above and beyond here to make it an interesting spot to eat, drink, and socialise x x

Can get a tad rowdy on your Friday/Saturday night but otherwise its your expected standard of Wetherspoon.

We visit here on occasions and were there a week ago today. Cannot praise Michelle (Chef) enough! She came to our table to check our order was correct as I have a Gluten intolerance and so had to pretty much build my own breakfast. Order was spot on and food was delicious.

Always good to have a strong here when we have walked the Leen Valley trail. We had glasses of wine & a bowl of chips. Unfortunately as often happens the chios came to our table while my partner was still at the bar. So by the time he sat down. We had like warm chips. Couldn't be bothered to send them back again as done this many times. Just won't order chips that are neatly cold & not done fresh again.
